Liberation and Joy (Helle/Inanna)

"Hmm... Are you even able to answer your own question, dear?"

With the way Inanna had devoured her meal, Helle wondered if the girl even knew what she just ate. Either way, Helle was not as expedient when it came to eating. She would most likely barf in trying to. She took her time to make sure she chewed and swallowed everything, taking sips of her drink to ensure it stayed down and not clogged in her throat. Though, she would finish eventually. It wouldn't be nice to leave Inanna waiting for too long.

"I presume you're ready to head shopping, yes?"

"Yeah! I tasted every bit of it. You think I didn't taste it while I ate it?"

She said a little bit indignant at the implication that she hadn't tasted it because she ate fast. She was a bit self-conscious of things when people brought them up. It was just kinda embarrassing you know for a teenager to have stuff like that brought up.

"Yeah, let's go!"

Inanna said and jumped up from her seat to wait for Helle, there would be no delays!

Is there a point in arguing? Going back and forth? Helle should ask what Inanna even ate just to make sure the girl even remembered. However, they have much to do, and arguing may find them stuck in one place for too long. The girl is ready for the next activity, so away they must go. Is this the energy of youth at work? Despite having the mind, her body reminded her that she should not make too sudden of movements.

"I'm coming. I'm coming. Remember the counting game, unless you see something you like."

Helle's getting up and moving as fast as she's able. That pep in her step became a bit less peppy. Curse these legs.

It was the energy of youth! The vigour. An endless well of power and vitality to let her spend the whole day having fun and enjoying it to its fullest! Helle would love it or at the very least Inanna hoped and thought that she would too. For now she was already excitedly leading the poor woman through the streets.

"Aha! This one."

The store that she had picked looked like it was just a second-hand shop, hardly anything fancy but surely a goldmine of things for an easily amused kid with an overactive imagination!

"Whaddya think, Helle? Do you think we can find some good clothes in here?"

"Hmm... It is never the appearance of things that dictates its worth. Even the shabbiest of clothing could prove a new favorite."

In her own way, she pushed Inanna to give the place a chance. She, for one, thought that nothing of true interest could be found here, but that does not mean they could not find anything. Maybe a particular piece exists just for them right beyond these doors. Helle surely thought so for Inanna's sake as she entered, the soft ringing of a bell signaling their arrival. Immediately, Helle pondered if her sense of fashion proved older than what it should be, her gaze already finding itself on a particular style of clothing that one would only think overly Catholic.

Every store was like its own little world inside! Inanna might've abandoned Helle if not for wanting to see what she was interested in wearing. The danava thought that she liked comfy looking clothes, it was kind of like her mum's outfits which were also kinda like her own. Shorts and a t-shirt were the most comfy clothes in her opinion but not the cutest, she'd have to say a frilly dress was there since that's what magical girls wore a lot.

"What do you wanna get? I could get mum a t-shirt, do you think there are any that would have something on it which she'd find funny?"

Inanna asked, surely her mum's best friend would know all about her mum. Even more than she did! That's what she liked to think about her and Alex.

Funny and Ninsianna? That seemed a combination unviable. Ninsianna's sense of fashion bordered close to Helle's own. However, Ninsianna's knack for jewelry may prove useful. Something funny may not be the right choice, but they could find something with a bit of a bling to it. Maybe a pattern that fairs well with gold or silver. Helle found herself lost in thought on this subject matter as she hobbled from stack of clothing to another.

"This may prove suitable," She muttered, lifting a light blue blouse with cloud like patterning, its stitching bejeweled with silver. Though, it didn't have that haha that Inanna may have wanted. Still, it held a breath of fresh air and seemed divorced of professionalism.

When she saw the blouse Inanna thought it seemed a bit more flashy than she'd seen her mother wear around the house and while her mouth opened to say that it seemed off the danava did think a little bit before she spoke. Just because it didn't seem right to her didn't mean it wasn't and if it was a gift from her best friend then surely her mum would find the sentiment even better than it matching her tastes to the dot, right?

"I think she'll love it, I bet she'd have a really big smile if you gave that to her."

The girl said with her features lighting up at the thought of a really happy smile on her mum's face. Inanna's eyes looked around a bit as well, now she wanted to find something for her mum as well but she had some competition here.
