Smells Like Spring Spirit[Natasha/Hannah]

"Well, I'll be damned," Natasha would remark as she gazed at the peerless display of marksmanship, coupled with an unrivaled prowess over the Shinigami's mystic arts, clearly left in awe as she held her fire on the other targets. The sight was such that each target she had hit alone was hit with such precision and force that they blown apart entirely. A sheepish smile would line the woman's lips as she turned to the other participants who stared on, wide-eyed and mouth agape. A sort playful whistle and an aim or two of her guns - which would not see much use now due to Hannah winning the game resoundingly - would see the woman firing her guns at the smaller targets just to get that itch out for shooting at something. She would allow the guns to dissipate before placing her hands in her pocket and standing beside Hannah.

"Well, ya' one, lil' lady. Hit it right out of the park', in fact. Well, time to go collect some prizes. It's stuffed animals here, the fun modern tech stuff to browse the internet, and some other goodies. You won, so I'll let you choose what I'll take home. Guess I can give ya' something in return, too."

"Tessai would probably be displeased to see me using what amounts to a Nuke to win a contest like this. It was hard stripping them of enough power it didn't blow the tent off" Hannah replied, giving a gentle laugh. What was power for if not to be frivolous and fun sometimes? "Though I seem to have ruined your play, so we will absolutely have to take you to go find something else to shoot. Maybe even make it a fun contest between ourselves"

Hannah would give a gentle nod and then go look at the prizes, finding the biggest and most fluffy teddy there was to later give to Natasha. Such was tradition.

"Ah, don't worry about it. It was actually pretty' darn cool seein' ya' let loose on the fireworks. Pretty impressive stuff, honey." Natasha would chuckle as she held the large teddy bear in her arm and gazed around, wondering what they could participate in next. In a festival like this, there was a lot they could participate in Maybe target practice with just the two of them could be the play. Allowed for more conversation, if nothing else. She would hold Hannah's hand as they made their way over to a more secluded area where those who wished to have a fun competition between the other could participate on their own. No points totals. Just enough to see who could get more targets than the other.

"If you want fireworks, just wait until tonight" Hannah offered with a coy grin. Waddling off with the giant teddy bear, Hannah would get to the secluded area with Natasha and then ponder for a moment.

"A normal firing range could be boring and not really show off your full strength. So why don't we make a more creative contest? I shall create a barrier, and then you shall endeavour to break through it. I will give you....5 minutes to break through it, so you have plenty of time to study, prepare, and then truly show the full extent of your capabilities. Rather than just a simple target shooting that doesn't strain either of us at all"

Natasha would stroke her chin curiously as she listened to Hannah's proposition for a more entertaining challenge. Breaking a barrier, huh? It sounded interesting. She figured it would certainly be more engaging. too. Natasha would nod her head as she reformed her spirit guns and gave the woman a cursory nod, affirming her desire to participate in her challenge. Why not? She could use the practice. Never know when that might come in handy, too. She stuck her tongue out at the joke, waving her guns around before hopping on the balls of her feet.

"Sure. Sounds like it'd be a mighty fine' time. I could use the practice. Let's see what this barrier is about'."

The urge to make a coy and sultry quip as Natasha stuck her tongue out was present, but didn't fit the situation, so Hannah didn't. Instead she just returned the favour and cast Adamant Kiss around the surroundings so they didn't destroy anything with their blasting, and then a Kyomon around herself just in case a shockwave came.

With that done, Hannah would clap her hands together and belt out a massive, roiling ocean of reiatsu.

"Snarl thrice, let the foes know, they go no further! If the world gathers outside the gates, the gates shall stop the entire world! Kokō no Jōmon!"

Hannah's incantation was followed by a series of handsigns and gestures, culminating in the creation of what looked to be a huge Waterwheel, thrice the size of a man.

"There we go. Feel free to use any powers or abilities you might have. I've made sure we won't damage the surrounding area"

Natasha would whistle pleasantly as she witnessed the spellcasting unfolding before her eyes. It was interesting to see someone so lithe of frame executing mystical spells that defied common thought. Impressive, even. The spell cast, the huge waterwheel would form before her, three times the size of a man.

"Always somethin' interestin' bout' seein' a kido practitioner in action. Well, then, let's see what this bad boy's all bout'."

Pacing back and forth every now and then, Natasha would contemplate which one of her weapons seemed suitable for the occasion. Well, she'd start small and use her favored handguns - Roxanne and Casanova.

The same pair of weapons she had aimed to use in the last target practice challenge until Hannah stole the show with her kidoworks. Manifesting the guns within her hands, Natasha would test the durability of the waterwheel by gathering the ambient reishi around her to fire a large wave of reishi bullets with two guns in hand.

"Just wait until the unfortunate moment when I need to crack off Goryūtenmetsu" Hannah commented, leaning against the corner and watching Natasha crack off a few rounds at the Gate. The thing wasn't even scuffed at the end of the volley though, and would absolutely require something much much greater in potency than that to get anywhere.

"It's part of a four-Kido barrier called Shijū no Saimon. At full capability, it is strong enough to survive a several megaton nuke without breaking. So feel free to go absolute one hundred percent power on it. The second barrier I have around this place will hold against anything that doesn't hit it directly"

Another pleasant whistle would escape the woman's lips as she could certainly perceive that her volley of reishi bullets had hardly left a dent in the structure of the waterwheel barrier. Go figure. Well at least the woman wasn't pulling any punches. Better to test out what she had to utilize here. She was still going through the process of what discipline she'd be settling into as it regarded her skills and how she could aid her fellow Sternritter. All directions seemed to be leading towards Letz Still but that wasn't present here.

Taking a deep breath she'd utilize her second best weapon here. Her ability to absorb reishi. It took ten minutes to construct but with the ambient reishi surrounding her to form a large cannon over her shoulder. Created on the fly, it didn't resemble any war weapon as most of her spellcraft guns but for the type of potency she was trying to aim for, she had to get a little creative.

Drawing in as much reishi as she felt necessary, to the point of even collecting and borrowing particles from those still participating in their own target practice and didn't immediately notice, Natasha would take a deep breath and fire what would perhaps be the equivalent of a - large bomb - towards the barrier, firing a large ball of reishi towards the first layer of the barrier, hoping she could take it out in one strike. Knowing a master like this, though? No shot she thought it'd break with this. She'd probably have to bring more to the table.

The blastwave of such a large attack was considerable, and Hannah would use her Anima Mea to disperse it around the barrier rather than letting it oil-drum the two of them to death in the enclosed space they were in. After the dust settled, the barrier stood, covered in dirt and scorch marks, but still without notable damage to it.

"That was quite the blast. I am impressed at your potency" Hannah commented, giving her a nod. There was no malice or teasing to the tone, and it was a genuine compliment to her, even in the face of nothing notable.
