Invincible Reversal [Shishiyuki, Makoto]

Ah. Shishiyuki knew that she had, in the past, shown more of herself to Makoto than this, but the context of this particular moment made it quite extremely different. Not that she minded, of course, and the fact that the whole of her face turned an even deeper shade of scarlet than it already had been gave that much away. What could she say on that matter? Her approval was rather self-evident, but she did not want to let that speak for itself.

"I think my previous assessment was inadequate... 'Beautiful' was not nearly enough to convey how breathtaking you are."

If it were a different situation, if Shishiyuki had not been so visibly taken by the sight, one might easily have assumed she was just being poetic, exaggerating for the sake of compliment. But there was a genuineness to her tone that was unmistakable, and her eyes trailed over Makoto's whole form as she simply took in the woman atop her, her hands moving gently, carefully across her lover.

"Am I? I think you should look in a mirror, it's an good description for you with that expression."

Makoto didn't actually think about it as a compliment but after hearing herself say it, she thought it did carry a kind of playful banter didn't it? Even if it probably wasn't the smoothest move. Her position from here made it easier to access her without the top and those hands did wander and she let them, leaning forward with her arms keeping her propped up for Shishiyuki to take as much time as she'd like to acquaint herself intimately with her. A faint blush through the whole thing with an occasional twitch or flinch from a ticklish feeling of those fingers on her skin in spots.

"Are you wanting more?"

It came out with her eyes squarely focused on Shishiyuki's face, this wasn't too much she didn't think but Makoto knew that she'd still keep on asking and confirming that it was the case. It wasn't like she was in a rush, she was happy to let Shishiyuki take as much time as she pleased to feel every inch of her skin before she wanted to move on. Makoto was just wondering if she did want to keep going.

"Ah, then I suppose together we must make quite the vision of loveliness."

She'd heard that spoken by some student or another in passing regarding the two of them, the young man having assumed Shishiyuki wouldn't have heard. Maybe it hadn't come out nearly as romantically as she'd intended, but given their exchange, it did still feel relatively acceptable. Right?

"If you are willing to give it."

That had come out a bit more intensely than she'd meant it to, really, but Shishiyuki could live with that. She did enjoy this, did want Makoto. She was operating entirely by instinct at this point, and she supposed she ought to just be thankful that her age had left her with quite good instincts.

A little longer of letting Shishiyuki wander while Makoto mulled on her words, if she was willing to give it. The vice-captain admittedly was becoming more and more curious rather than trepid. If she offered it, how much would she take? More importantly, if she took more than Makoto wanted then would the silver-haired shinigami have the will to stop it? Did she want to stop it? The lines of fear and need were becoming oh so blurry.

She did decide on her course of action though and so after those exploring hands on her body had time while she thought, she smiled and got off her girlfriend to sit adjacent. Reaching behind to work off the last piece of cloth over her chest and reach down to cast off everything else as well, tossing it all off the bed while retaking her seat on Shishiyuki and letting out a heavy breath.

"I'm giving it."

Makoto stated with more confidence than she had, a wonder of what casting off of her all the shields that she had on, all of the walls that were between Shishiyuki being able to touch her, would get her.

It was exceptionally easy to think that one was ready for this sort of thing. Intellectually, after all, Shishiyuki understood what she would have seen when Makoto undressed. But understanding it purely in the abstract in no way compared to actually seeing it before her, and she was almost infinitely more hesitant to actually touch Makoto now. Why was that?

She wasn't sure. Maybe it was ultimately just her own lack of experience, the idea that she was not actually familiar with any of this. But they were moving forward together, weren't they? Perhaps not slowly anymore, but still together. And that thought was what crossed her mind, her hands moving from Makoto to herself as she began to undo her own attire.

"Then surely I ought to give the same to you, yes? I want to give it to you."

Naturally, Makoto sitting atop her did not make it quite so easy as simply removing everything. But, frankly, she was not opposed to Makoto assisting.

When there was no response it did make her worry a bit, she went too far didn't she? Except then she heard what Shishiyuki said and realised she had not. If anything, she was leaving her girlfriend behind in her attempt to indulge her. Ignoring her own wants of whatever might be under the other woman's clothes and then, she went to start undressing.

Helping along, primarily with the bottoms due to her proximity and sitting back admittedly sitting at one end of the bed opposite of Shishiyuki. Studying and taking in every detail, she'd seen a lot of it before but not in this light. Not where it could lead, she was almost a little too paralysed to act. Even if she wasn't stuck in thinking out her plans though she naturally had to ask.

"...Keep going?"

This was admittedly where she was finding her curiousity a bit overwhelmed with trepidation. What would it be like? What happened afterwards? Whats and hows and whens, different kinds of questions that she was asking herself and seeking confirmation on but unable to ask. It wasn't like Shishiyuki had the answers and it was frustrating, the feeling of want and the feeling of uncertainty that mixed together to plague her mind and rob her of clarity.

From this point on, there was not much further that the two of them could realistically go. Shishiyuki knew where things would surely lead if she continued forward, and yet she did not have any reservations toward the idea. If anything, the idea was one that she was nervous toward, excited for even. There was worry, of course, and the sense that perhaps she was moving too quickly. But it all passed her rather quickly.

"I would be quite willing, if you are, Makoto."

She took Makoto's hand in hers, her eyes meeting Makoto's own rather than any of the other absolutely stunning things about her. She did not have any concerns about it, bearing in mind that they were still moving forward together. She did not know how to fully process how she felt on all of this, but Shishiyuki was ultimately not the sort to think about that when still in the heat of the moment.

It made her pause a little bit and stare at Shishiyuki, she was beautiful and incredible. Understanding and supportive. So unlike how she saw herself which was ironic due to their similarities. So why was the fact that what she wanted was right in front of her and she was left in thought, hesitating even for that final step? It frustrated her.

Did it feel like if she took this next step that she wouldn't be able to go back? She'd have commited to her entirely and depend on her, when she joined the academy she declared that she would never rely on anyone ever again but lately it was becoming more and more tested. So many what ifs and fears went through her mind.

Could she just turn back now though? When they were both undressed like this, aroused and wanting? Feeling her hands on her was nice but would it make her feel the same if it went beyond the exterior of her body, or would she feel that same disgust that she did and made her shy away and deprive herself of it for years until it had become atrophied about it, scared to do it for any kind of trauma that she might dig up.

"Um."

As she looked up at Makoto, there was a good deal that ran through Shishiyuki's mind, the whole situation seeming almost ethereal. She would not have expected to be in this situation, to see such a sight atop her, and certainly not to be so enamored with it. But that thought did once again make her wonder how she truly felt about this situation, and the hesitation in her girlfriend's voice, in her action, made that much more clear.

Yes, she did feel a desire to go beyond even this. But it was not something that she required. Shishiyuki did not feel it necessary that the two of them share that particular aspect of a relationship just yet, when even this was already a tremendous step forward. She would not dare to push Makoto, or even herself, simply because of a base urge.

"We can stay like this, Makoto dear."

It was not simply reassurance, not something said to placate her. Rather, it was said in earnest, and her hand moved to intertwine itself with Makoto's own, a gesture of simple affection rather than one of physical desire. She did not wish for anything further.

It felt like she regained herself a bit when Shishiyuki became reassuring and took her hand, maybe that frustrated her more though that she was in this spot. Wanting to go further but plagued at the thoughts. There was no barriers, nothing between them at the moment. Everything was on display and Makoto realised that so was her crestfallen feelings of reluctance.

"Alright."

Even if it was so plain how she felt Makoto wasn't forthcoming about it, she just laid down from her sitting position and rested on top of Shishiyuki. If her mind wasn't so overwhelmed then the feeling of so much of them skin against one another's might've spurred more need, less thinking and pure action.

It didn't though and she felt meek about it, she was the one that offerred everything and jumped the gun. Jumping off before she looked below. How embarrassing.
