» True Appearance Written: Demure and delicate, Lethe stands five foot five, with pale, porcelain skin and long, white hair. This hair is very well looked after and can shine gently in the light as all good hair does, giving off an appearance of purity. Her styles change often, sometimes loose and sometimes up in a net. And sometimes in a pony tail or twin tails as she indulges in more modern culture. Lethe is the embodiment of traditional oriental beauty, her skin beyond a mere lack of colour and fully washed out as if it was lacking the internal fire needed to have colour. Her chest sits on the upper edge of normality in terms of size, and she has a slender body that conflicts with the size of said chest. Soft blue eyes, and long legs topped with waif-like thighs are certain to draw in many a man - and woman.

Lethe's voice matches her appearance, gentle and soft, it is a lullaby of delight to listen to, a tone that seems to imply she wouldn't be able to sound angry if she tried.

Her clothing varies tremendously, and is generally whatever she can get to wear at the time, or whatever she needs to wear for her job, either way works for her right now.

» Personality: Lethe's personality is one of confusion. She tries to put on as happy face because people like being happy and she likes people being happy. Though, inside is rather drab and dreary. She is driven to do something she can't bare to think about, to learn something she shuns, and to seek what makes her freeze to contemplate. And all this is with the pallid light of her soul, barely a spark of a thing that is a half-step away from being so weak she has no spiritual powers at all.

Though, she has some reverence for this spark. Even though it is tiny, struggling and hardly even a thing, even though it is a black hole in her chest that makes her hurt so much, if she could feel anything at all to begin with, it motivates her regardless. With it inside, still carrying on, still trying, after everything it has been through, it feels as if she can accomplish what she wishes if only she reaches out and grasps it. Though new to life and yet to really develop herself, this is the core that she will build her Self around.

And so, set back after set back, abandonment after abandonment, she carries on. There will come a day when she feels like she has a heart again. And on that day...maybe she'll stop running from what hides in the shadows of the past.

» History:

Born quite literally in a flash, Lethe is suddenly and quite rudely stuck in Chaya to start living. There is nothing to her, except for a strange feeling that she is the Night of something or other, and she needs to go somewhere. It's a very vague feeling, and no amount of thinking yields anything. So she ignores it for now.

Though the humans like to think Demons who's world Lethe has arrived in as otherworldly and unknowable, their culture at the bottom is not too different. Lethe needs a job, and so that is the first thing on her plate. Being a waitress sounds nice, just need to find the right place to take her.

Getting the job and being a waitress was easy enough, she spoke nicely and had good manual dexterity. Customers liked Lethe, and she even got herself a little event to sing every weekend. It wasn't what she was here to do, but it was nice regardless. It distracted her from the failures, the abandonment, the rejection and the lack of being found by people that should be finding her.



» Natural Abilities: With barely any power in her soul and an empty head on how anything works, Lethe has nothing to crow about, as her capabilities are standard for her power level and she is unable to really do anything specifically Danava-y. The one thing to crow about is how moving makes sense. Not just in the "I can move" vein, but right down to the brass tacks, she gets the slightest nuance in every move she can make.

Her body is far from being able to execute or even handle half the things that ae just natural to her, but the point stands that she has an intuitive and exceptional grasp over how the physical body moves, and what that might entail for combat and seduction.

» Origin Power: Lethe's origin is where she feels something has gone wrong, almost like she was not meant to be born at all. She has an inherent understanding that she is a Danava, that she embodies some aspect of existence. But she has no idea what that origin is. What she does know is that acknowledgement of the fact she actually does know what her origin is will cause something to happen that she might not be ready for, and so she shuns it, disassociating with that part of herself until she is ready to admit to herself that she knows what she is.
