A troubled woman and a teashop (Shio/Hisana)
Mon Nov 29, 2021 9:58 pm
A petite sized woman rallies up enough energy to sanitize the rich convex tea cups in a delicate and patient manner so as to avoid putting any smears in them. It was a finally designed cup with an interesting aesthetic design befitting the tone that set itself apart from the interior design of the tea shop, for her father had oftentimes acquire hand picked tea cups that went along with color scheme of their mansion, though in truth he wanted the teacups color to align with the color of choice that her mother favors over the rest.
It's a rather odd coincidence that the color of the tables and chairs present in the tea shop were slightly identical to her mother's favorite color, though one slight difference is the hue for which the hue made the color a bit darker as opposed to the lighter version of the color brown. Unlike certain colors, Shio always preferred darker shaded ones over the lighter shades due to the fact of them being soft on the eyes. "Speaking of which, I wonder what my mother is doing right now…"
Before she could finish the thought that introduced itself into her mind, a feeling of unease skittered up her spine that prompted her to press the thought back into her mind before she could experience the memories that transpired many months ago. To keep herself distracted from the thoughts of the past, and takes to emphasising a means of acquiring a workshop to managing potions that stowed underneath the teashop.
After polishing the leftover tea cups that the morning customers had drank from, she began restacking them neatly in a ash brown clear glass cabinets that she had at first struggled to reach but not until her round, guilt ridden eyes happened upon a white stool tucked underneath the long marble glass table. Once she placed the cups in the cabinets, the bell hanging above the entryway of the door rang, signaling that a customer arrived.

It was peaceful. She couldn't help but be drawn to such a cosy little spot. She was in her disguise, her form made humanlike by the veil she shaped herself with, one that completely concealed any spiritual energy, making her seem for all the world like a normal human. Even her hollow hole and mask fragments vanished thanks to the ability. And so she slipped into the little tea shop, seeming for all the world just like any other human. Wearing form-fitting jeans, a long sleeve shirt and a jacket that kept her warm, the woman poked her head in, looking about with bright, curious eyes, even as those endless voices in her soul hummed and whispered in her heart. Familiar memories of places like this brought a slight smile to her face, and making her way to the counter, she cleared her throat in hopes of bringing the owner's attention to her.
"I'm sorry, are you still open?" She asked, head canting to the side as she asked. She was prepared to leave if it wasn't, the girl DID seem to be like she was tidying up for the evening? But all the same, she had a bit of money if it was still open. A bit of a Kleptomaniac, Hisana had a tremendous number of ....well various objects she'd collected. And a good number of coins. Some of which she'd switched for local currency. On one hand, letting go of those charming little coins had been rough, but money WAS important in experiencing other, more lovely things from her fractured memories. More than enough reason to let a few of them go so she could more than afford herself a bit of tea.

Despite not being the most fanciest appealing teashop out in England, it's still remains to be seen as one that maintains a neat and cleanly establishment. Though the shop isn't strictly owned by her so to speak, in truth she happens to be working for someone that owns the modest teashop. She just happens to be currently out on business trips, though ever since Shio first started -- the term "business trip" is one long lost in meaning.
As the more she hanged around the woman, the greater her understanding of what she really meant started to bloom, however, Shio never once questioned the suspicious woman's activities and as long as she has a place to keep her positions and somewhere to collect information then there's nothing to worry about. The sound of the silver bell hanging above the entry of the tea shop rang, prompting Shio to shift her attention to the customer entering.
She hops off the brown stool used when she was previously stashing cleaned cups that had been neatly sanitized and washed. Due to her small size she had to force herself to use a stool to get things placed in higher areas, however, it wasn't something she worried about and hasn't experience any problems. Though her job would make it much easier if her left arm worked, and because of the broken arm her effectiveness to perform some basic tasks plummeted.
This in turn caused her to feel useless, further wishing to obtain a new arm and hopes of getting back on track as working in a teashop only served as a failsafe for when there's nowhere else to turn to for shelter. Shio's eyes flashes to the customers arrival. A woman of average height who appears as though she experienced many days. One noticable feature that Shio's eyes stumbles upon is the woman's lavender hair. "Indeed we are!" Shio answered with a slight attempt at an enthusiastic tone. "Anything I can get you?" She asks while leaning forward, with her left elbow resting on the lengthy table. "Pardon the emptiness, kind of a slow day this evening"

Hisana was....surprised when she spotted the one who was working the little tea shop. Her mind raced for just an instant, that usual flood of memories. All of them .....fond. Parental. Proud. She could not help but smile brightly as she made note of the diligent young woman. "Oh, that's quite alright. Do you have any specials?" She asked gently as she made her way over and took a moment to look around the shop itself, making note of how particularly clean the place seemed to be. Something she figured was probably of the ordinary given how the woman had already pointed out that things had been a little slow.
All the same, she couldn't help but glance back and pause when she noticed the manner in which the girl conducted herself, namely how she seemed to be doing everything with one arm. "Oh, are you alright?" She asked. Certainly she had been a bit ......intrigued to see that such a small young woman was working the shop. But then to see the injury almost made her wonder if she'd hurt herself on the job or something, moving a bit closer as she tilted her head to the side to get a closer look, though not getting so close as to invade the girl's personal space. Though it would be abundantly clear that Hisana had something of a concerned, caring demeanor about her that bordered on motherly.
