Re: Hibiscus and Sparrow [Fuuen, Yugiri]

FUUEN | WIND BOUNDARY
Laughing quietly to himself, Fuuen made sure to keep Yugiri's cup topped off as she drank. He, too, made sure to empty his own cup, but he was far more familiar with his limits, and of course he also drank this sort of thing quite often. It was not nearly as damning for him.
"No, I don't believe you have, but I would certainly like to hear about it."
There was a part of Fuuen which meant that in a bit of a lighthearted manner, amused by how obviously the alcohol had already shifted her demeanor. Of course, he also quite genuinely wished to know more about this technique of hers, on account of his natural interest in those sorts of things.

Yugiri | Rejoiceful Cut
"Rashomon Ken is a Hakuda technique I made, it's adapted off another technique but it's like...."
She found herself coming to a blank in her thoughts, it was like a roadblock. Yugiri took another sip to try and prompt her thoughts, stir them into action and all that. It didn't really help as much as she thought it would while her small figure and inexperience with alcohol was showing but she was far too vain to stop now.
"It's like opening a door. My hands twist the very thing of what I hold without damaging the exterior at all while I do it. Pretty cool, huh?"
Yugiri said with a smug grin. A little unsteady on her chair while wobbling at staring at Fuuen. If she was more aware of her, then her red cheeks might've been something she was more conscious of.

FUUEN | WIND BOUNDARY
It was all the more entertaining to see the obvious difficulties Yugiri was having in organizing her thoughts, though of course Fuuen was actually keeping a careful eye on her stability. Despite the lightheartedness of the situation, he understood that he ought to keep an eye on her well-being.
"A specially directed attack at the internals? Very interesting, and quite impressive. Is that done through manipulation of the strike itself, or is this a spiritually manipulated strike?"
He was very interested in this, of course, but he also wished to hear more of Yugiri's difficulties in explaining these things. It was cute.

"The strike."
She said triumphantly though it was actually just wrong, it was by influencing the internals of her target through insertion of her own reiatsu into their body at a specific rate of spin. Unfortunately that wasn't so easily explained to him in her current state and she took another sip to keep herself alert, as far as she was concerned.
"Uhm. What of you and your pursuits?"

FUUEN | WIND BOUNDARY
"Ah, my own pursuits have been especially colored by the change in my perception of the world, given the return of my memory. If anything, a good deal of my efforts of late have been a matter of rediscovery rather than invention."
Taking another drink of his sake, Fuuen thought about the myriad techniques that were suddenly so easy for him to contemplate. Which of them could be considered the most fascinating? Well, despite his distaste for it, he supposed it would be only right to speak on what had once been his signature technique.
"The Rakuenjou Benika has been my primary focus, I suppose. A technique which both misdirects and cleaves the head from the shoulders in a single stroke, and leaves a spray of blood quite violently across the earth. It is certainly a spectacle, if nothing else, though I do not think it is quite the sort of thing I would wish to use now. Perhaps a sign that I have matured in my pursuits."

"That sounds so cool."
She said in regards to the technique, it wasn't exactly as eloquent as she might've phrased should Fuuen have told her this earlier. A little swaying to her small form on the stool, she really wasn't a fan of that feeling of not being in total control of her body and loose lips.
"Well, it's good to have if you need it. Right?"

FUUEN | WIND BOUNDARY
While there was still some faint displeasure in the back of his mind at the thought of the Rakuenjou Benika, Fuuen could only smile confidently at Yugiri's simple praise. It was rather clear that she was well and truly intoxicated, and he opted not to refill either glass just yet, for her sake more than his own.
"Your appraisal of it is more than appreciated. I am of course glad to have something so decisive should the need arise, but I think that it will serve as a suitable benchmark for comparing any future creations. Something to surpass in the categories of aesthetic and elegance, hm?"
Her company was certainly quite pleasant, and he would have been all too happy to drink again with her at any time. Of course, he would need to bear in mind that it was apparently so easy to get her this deep into her cups.

Yugiri | Rejoiceful Cut
"Y-yes! Always reaching higher."
She blurted out while she swayed a little too much to the side and closer to him without any intention behind it. The girl's hand catching on the bench while she was partly leaning on Fuuen. A little bit of a yawn while she tried to keep herself alert.
"Uh, I should go home. I don't feel very well."
Yugiri whined while grinning to herself. He was pretty cute, there was so much care in his voice. She bet that he was a good kisser or something like that. Wait, no way. He definitely would suck if he spent so much time honing his skills, at least that's what she thought.

"Of course, Yugiri. We ought get you home right away, then."
Setting more than sufficient payment onto the counter, Fuuen stood up and made certain to support the much smaller woman, knowing fully that there was no way she could have stood on her own if she was already relying on him simply on the bench.
"And where exactly am I escorting you, hm? It would naturally be quite rude of me not to ensure you find your way home in one piece."

Yugiri | Rejoiceful Cut
"Right. I live um..."
Yugiri thought before awkwardly trying to grab a napkin and perform a kido spell. A long pause while she tried to centre herself and think, it felt so hard to try and make her reiatsu work when she was so unfamiliar with being inerberated like this.
"T-there."
She said with a pant, it took way more effort than it should've for such a simple task. A small glowing arrow on the napkin which now pointed towards what she called home for now and would shift as needed on the surface to accomodate which way to go or if he needed to change directions.
"I'm sorry Fuuen, I don't drink.. a lot. Ugh."
