» Personality:

Uncontrollable and undisciplined, Shio is someone who can be difficult to work with, as her uncontrollable characteristics can potentially lead to others getting harmed in the process. Furthermore, she can be a difficult individual to train, due to her undisciplined nature overshadowing her other characteristics that people may grow to enjoy. Her uncontrollable behavior is the product of being confined in her mansion, due to her father wanting to shield Shio from the dangers of the world. There’s others who would say her uncontrollable behavior is akin to a savage beast, as her behavior can become wild and unrestrained if the situation calls for it.

Though it’s through these traits that shaped her for who she is as a person, but it’s something she wishes to control. While she desired to aid those in need and fix their current situations, she also fears the fact she’ll do more harm than good. Despite all of this, she still feels the need to assist others for she believes it’s the best thing to do. She feels as though she’s in the middle of the line between wanting to help others and wanting to avoid harming them, as her experience with attempting to help something caused a negative effect that made her feel guilt.

When she causes a problem, she would go out of her way to reject the fact that it wasn’t her fault and claiming it’s a mistake. This in turn makes her feel shameful of the things she caused as the results of her meddling with the lives of others. While her intentions are pure, there’s always a setback waiting to happen, therefore making her feel as if she’s incapable of helping people. She faces trouble owning to the causes that she makes, wishing to avoid being labeled as a monster and decides to run away from the problem.

Even when faced with a problem that she fears might not work, she continues to choose to look for other sources that can aid her. It’s clear that she possess the desire to free herself of the fear that’s causing her to reject people’s help, due to her experiences in the past that shaped her the way she is. With the lost of her father and her home destroyed, Shio has grown to know that there’s things in the world that she doesn’t understand, but if it wasn’t for the fact her father confined her home, then she would’ve been able to understand the world better.

This lack of understanding of the world she resides in, gave birth to a sense of curiosity and passion for freedom. It’s through her curiosity that made her want to study and learn more about the nature of healing, though it also ties into her need to help the weak and fix their problems through healing, therefore gave her a reason to want to make potions. However, after roaming the world she grew to understand that not many wishes to be fixed as being fixed meant their was a flaw in their design.

Though she was confused by the fact they didn’t want to be fixed, whether it’s because of pride or something else is a thing that gets her curious about people and the world around her. Shio is someone who wouldn’t leave someone behind, for she feels the need to be there to back them up. It’s also through this trait of hers that made her detest those too stubborn for their own good, thinking they’re able to solve everything with strength and a tough resolve. While she understands their reasons, she still can’t bring herself to abandon someone, so instead she relies on her sixth sense to tell her what she should do.

She views her father with high regard, yet feels as though there’s a lot of things about her that she doesn’t know about, which is one of the reasons why she became interested in hunting demons. As someone who works at a teashop, many customers who come by the shop and say that she’s somewhat of a hard worker. Despite her undisciplined characteristics, she’s someone who understands the value of hard work and wishes to impress others. She takes an insurmountable sense of pride when it comes to making tea, as she was taught by her father when she was a child. She frequently takes trips to places to gather ingredients and use them to brew tea with.

» History

Brought into the world by a supernatural adept father, and a mother who can’t get enough time for her daughter. Being able to see and interact with the supernatural was a gift that was in her father’s possession, but more specifically the gift was more of a genetic trait that the girls father shared with the rest of his family. With this gift her father turned it into an opportunity, an opportunity that he would use to better the world. Throughout his adulthood he had went toe-toe with demons and other creatures who threatened peace with their presence. Her father became a demon hunter in order to preserve peace and serve as a beacon of hope. It was through his father that made him the man that others grew to know, as his father transformed the man into an abled fighter who was capable of handling matters on his own. Though the gift that the man brought into the world was one that had a few setbacks, forcing her father to keep his inborn talent a secret. He did this so nobody close to him would get hurt, however this wouldn’t last long as one fateful day managed to put the man’s life into a spiraling vortex filled with shame and regret.

The shame for being weak and incapable of protecting the one he held closely in his heart, but unfortunately his caring and warm character faded out of existence with only memories remained. It was then that his motivation were warped by the event that had transpired. He wasn’t the man others knew, a man who vowed to maintain peace and vanquish demons who’d dare to tarnish his visions. Instead he became a vengeful man, motivated by his hatred towards the demons who ruined his life. It was through sheer conviction and pride as a demon hunter that granted him the means to continue on the path of bloodshed. After years of hatred growing in his heart, the man soon grown tired and decided to escape the reality that he had found himself in, but one fateful encounter changed his life for the better. Through this encounter, gave birth to a family that he could call his own. While his mind remained damaged, he decided to rest at ease and to make certain to protect his new family from anything attempting to harm them.

The man known as her father managed to find peace, but he felt uncertain that his moment of peace will last long. Despite his uncertainty, her father nevertheless did the best he could to raise his daughter the way he wanted. When Shio entered the world, she didn’t end up as the image of a young respectful girl that they had conjured in their minds. Instead Shio, ended up becoming a child with differing personalities that combated against the traits her mother possessed. Unlike her mother, Shio was the kind of child who’d go out exploring her surroundings and wish to one day adventure to many different places. She wasn’t grounded like her mother, for she possessed a heart with wings looking to take flight and realize the world for what it was. However, her father made every attempt to isolate the girl but promised her to journey around places once she gets to a decent age. The reason why he felt isolating his daughter as the best course of action, was because he feared Shio would end up getting hurt because he wasn’t there to protect her. Seeing her like a baby bird incapable of flying and realizing the taste of freedom, her father would ensure she grew up the way he envisioned. Despite feeling isolated and trapped in the confined of her home, Shio was able to discover different things as a child. While they were miner things, but it was nonetheless a fun and cherishing experience.

Growing up, her father made it possible for her to experience things that he had discovered as a child. For starters, she was able to learn how to make tea, something even her father had a hard time in doing. Though, it was thanks to his frequent trips down in England and his friends that enabled him to become talented. Shio enjoyed making tea, for she would have tea parties that involved with stuffed animals acting as guests. Sometimes Shio would make tea to pass the time while her father was out to get groceries for the house and other things that he had to do. There was one day Shio remembered that gave birth to her fear towards things larger and stronger than her. While her father was out shopping, she began to sneak out of her cage of a home. Wishing to explore the outside, she took to roaming around the contents of her home. Behind the expensive home were trees as tall as a giraffe. As excitement boiled over, Shio made her way into the dark enchanting forest. Making her way through the sprawling trees shielding the sky, Shio happened upon an injuried animal assuming the appearance of a small bird. Unable to flap it’s jet black wings, the girl attempt to find something to aid the poor black bird, however, something else loomed in the darkness of the forest. A beast who’s scent smelt of malice and hunger. Frozen in fear, the girl took to finding something to use as protection.

During her search, the beasts showed off it’s sharp fangs and began to slowly approach the helpless bird and a pathetically weak child. With both meals in one place, the beasts white eyes couldn’t help but widen in delight of their unfortunate circumstances. By the time Shio found a stick to use as a weapon to defend herself and the black bird against the impending threat lurking in the forest, the beast would’ve already commenced it’s pursuit. As the nightmarish creature made an attempt at harming the small girl, a moment of fear and desperation came flowing into the stick that she held, bestowing the ordinary wooden stick with a strange and mysterious power. It was on that day that she was able to save the life of an innocent creature on the verge of being food for a more dangerous predator. Once everything was over, the voice of a middle aged man echoed through the forest. As the voice drew closer, Shio would begin rushing into her father’s arms with tears flowing through her eyes and blood painted on her hands. The man’s eyes behold a bloody sight that could be easily mistaken for a monsters. Shio felt incapable of helping the bird get back to it’s nest, forcing her to see a helpless creature hurt and weak.

After unknowingly slaughtering the savage beast with something she could barely put in words, she came to scoop the helpless bird from off the grassy plains of the forest and took the bird home. She spent many passing days researching and reading books that her father picked up during his frequent trips out of the country. Books involving healing practices and ingredients necessary to ensure the effects were guaranteed. Written in the books stored inside her father’s library were methods regarding the process of healing and crafting potions. As she used the accumulated knowledge found in the books she reads, she was soon able to design the right potion to use on the bird. After realizing her success, she grew excited that she possessed the necessary capabilities to make potions and use them to aid the weak. Months passed since she nurtured the black bird in good shape, within a long span of time came about a rumor of a monstrous black bird sighted in the neighborhood but was slain by a wanderer who was passing by.

The wanderer was revered as a hero of the people, and the same one who managed to save a little girl who was about to become the avian monsters food. The black bird healed by the potion that she crafted, was warped by a side effect that allowed it to transform into a grotesque abomination. After hearing about the news from the mouths of witnesses, her expression grew dim and the feeling of guilt and defeat stirred inside the girls heart. She had to hide from the fact she caused the bird to transform into a flesh eating fiend out of guilt and feared for being the one who indirectly put people’s lives at risk. Unable to bare the fact she’s the cause of the people’s despair, Shio took to hiding the evidence used in her pursuit of helping the bird and understanding how to make potions. As her workshop was kept a secret, even from her father Shio was able to feel at ease, however what remains is the feeling of guilt grasping her heart. One day her father decided to take his daughter on for training, in an attempt to strengthen Shio in order to prepare her for what’s to come in the near future. He couldn’t bare the fact to have her daughter roam the world where danger never sleeps, yet he also understood that he isn’t going to be around forever to protect his daughter. Seeing as her mother was too busy with her business and ideals to push the city to a better future, her father would take it upon himself to ensure Shio grew prepared to experience the world in the way he was able to when the man was about her age.

Though training the girl became a daunting task than he bargained for, as Shio’s undisciplined and disobedience created a problem that he had to correct. However, it was also the fact she was too afraid to throw a simple punch at her father, simply because she didn’t want to hurt him. Laughing at his daughters concern for his well being as he emphasize on the fact he’ll be fine and there was nothing to worry about. In the midst of his laughter, an aching cough penetrated the man’s lungs. He quickly wipes the dry blood away and focus his attention to Shio who was feeling better. Shio’s fundamentals of basic combat needed tweaking if she were to hope to win against scum who gets off from harming others, as the streets she grew to know was filled with those who lost everything due to their poor choices in life. Though, she didn’t have a desire to fight but if she wanted to protect others like the bird from the forest, then she would need to build up her confidence and strength of she were to have a chance to protect the weak. Training under the guidance of her father, he began to notice a sudden flicker of energy radiating from her core. As she tried to impress her father, giving everything she has to offer, more evidence revealed itself that sparked hope in the man’s eyes.

His little girl was growing up into someone that he could pass everything else on to her, however, to ensure he wasn’t hallucinating the man decided to push his daughter in realizing the strength that hides inside of a small body of a young girl. Before he could train the girl even further, an organized trio invited themselves in and began ruining their home. Frightened by the sudden attack, her father gave Shio direct orders to run. There was a part of her that couldn’t fathom the idea of abandoning her father, but with her current strength there was no way she had a chance to help defend against the men assaulting her home. As her father handles matters in his own hands, Shio took to retreating to the basement where she hid herself away from the violence that took place. During her retreat, one man noticed that his prey was missing. In pursuit of his prey, the man began to search throughout their decorative mansion, destroying everything in his path until he trips over a feline cat scurrying off. Before the white cat could get far, the man began to pick it up by the tail and dangling it’s tail as he taunts the child. Shio could hear the man’s voice from above her, while pressing her hands against her mouth so as to prevent her voice from escaping. While the man taunts the girl with a white cats tail held in one hand, he would begin to take a sharp bladed knife from his back pocket. Threatening to kill the cat if she doesn’t come out, and while it took Shio time to think about things she finally decided to come out of her hiding place.

As the man approached the surrendering Shio, she began to drive a broken glass shard into the man’s skin resulting in the man letting out a painful scream. Shio hurries to collect her cat and ran for her father, but as she tried to escape the man managed to catch the girls left leg and drove his knife in her calves before passing out on the ground. The now limping Shio began heading towards the direction of the fatigued breathes, and once she arrived to the scene it was then she realized the fight was over with. Her eyes traced over at the bloody scenery before catching a glimpse at her father’s body lying in defeat. Ignoring the pain grasping at her left leg, she hurried to her father’s side in hopes that she could heal him before it was too late. However, she soon realized the results of her attempts in trying to fix someone back to health. With tears flowing through her eyes, the girl attempt to use the broken glass shard that she had been in possession of, however, the attempt she made to harm the men that killed her father was futile. Her attempts were thwarted, which resulted in having a broken right arm. Before she could do anything else, they decided to knock the girl out and left her in a burning mansion. Years passed since that day, a day that would be engraved in her memories for years to come. Thinking that she had died along with her father, but the truth of the matter was that it was thanks to a shadowy figure who had collected her body from underneath the rumble.

With no idea of who assaulted her father and destroyed everything thing that meant a lot to him, Shio decided to roam the world as a blank page of her past and vowed to avenge the death of her father. She would also seek shelter in a makeshift tea shop somewhere in England where she works as a tea maker, though in truth she worked as a tea maker in order to extract information from customers on the happenings of the world in hopes to find those who killed her father. However, business in her teashop was a hassle due to the fact she has one working arm. She hopes to find someone with capable healing abilities to fix her arm, as she’s too fearful about the fact if she tended her own injuries that could potentially result in an unintended effect. Until she finds a capable healer, she would have to find someone who can help with maintaining business around the tea shop as she goes out demon hunting for more money. Though at first Shio had no interest in hunting for demons, but when offered the job and was told that her father was once a demon hunter, she would later accept the job. However, she did so in order to grasp a better understanding of who her father was while also looking to hone her spiritual abilities. She had also travelled many other places to search for the one who had rescued her and to one day thank them. Throughout her travels, she would grow to understand that there are those who wish to be fixed, and others preferring to remain the way they are as it helped in reminding them that the only ones to help is themselves. It was then she was reminded of her fear of trying to “fix” something that only resulted in causing destruction, as with the small black bird that she attempted to heal but being unskilled in crafting potions caused her to ignore a glaring issue that resulted in an unexpected metamorphosis. This would later haunt her as the results of tampering with life with something she had recently discovered, caused great harm on those too afraid to defend themselves. But ever since then, she had ran away from her undoing and rejected her actions.

» Skills:
Potion Making (Negative): Through research and understanding differing methods of potion making, allowed her to become somewhat of a potion maker with the intent of using it to help nurse others back in their original state. However, she isn’t the most skilled or even a blessed individual in potion crafting as her attempts in making a potion capable of getting rid of injuries causes a negative effect involving in a victims psychology. As the liquid makes contact with any parts of the victims body, the liquid will soak in the victims skin.

Once the liquid makes it into the victims skin, the liquid will course through the victims until it reaches their brains. As soon as the liquid makes it to the brain, the liquid will effect the brain that causes the victim to experience hallucinations. Victims influenced by wild visions that they see causes them to grow fearful of their surroundings, and mistaken things for creatures that are chasing them when in reality it’s just a trick.

If the condition isn’t treated, the victim will soon turn into the creature seen in their hallucinations, becoming the very thing that the victim fears the most. This fault of hers made it possible to cause a metamorphosis to happen in anyone or anything that makes contact with the liquid stored in the potion. Though she has since learned her lesson and refuses to create potions, simply out of fear that someone can turn into an abomination that inflicts harm onto others. She still retains the knowledge and methods pertaining to potion crafting, however, don’t expect her types of potions to be ones capable of healing injuries.

Experienced Martial Artist: The ability to learn and understand the basic principles of martial arts was the product of her training with her father, as he wanted her to become equipped with skills necessary to face those that wishes to do harm on the weak. While she isn’t the most gifted martial artist, she’s still an adept fighter and can provide a worthwhile challenge. Her fighting style is one that’s can be hard for someone to figure out, but after enough encounters it’ll become clear of the type of fighting style that she uses. The fighting style she uses in battle is one that reflects on her unique characteristics, as she’s capable of using her movements to distort an opponents ability to read them for they’re both unorthodox and tricky to understand.

Uncontrollable Strength: While she may not realize it, she’s a girl who possesses an uncontrollable level of strength as there are times when she doesn’t know how hard she should punch. Because of her uncontrollable strength, many may mistake her for a monster rather than a human being as she can dismantle creatures to a degree where they’re unrecognizable or leave no traces behind except for the blood stains caused by unforeseen circumstances. This level of strength can prove harmful to the environment, as she can unknowingly cause long term damage that conventional means of repairs may prove ineffective depending on the level of durability it has.


» Powers:

Metamorphosis:

Her ability works in a way that tampers with the genetic makeup of animals and people alike. By tampering with ones genetic makeup that allows them to be seen as unique with varying characteristics, will grant her the ability to force a target to undergo an unstable transformation process. This process is both gruesome and uncontrollable, as the moment a target emerges from out their former shell would result in them becoming a grotesque monster incapable of being reasoned with. As the victim is turned inside out by Shio’s ability, everything that made them who they are becomes fabricated by the effects of her power.

This type of power stems from her sub consciousness and had since developed a sort of motivation to help the weak, but a sudden unpredictable force of nature and miscalculations caused those in her path to become something they’ve never asked for. While under the influence of her ability, the grotesque abomination will treat everything around them as a threat, taking everything in their power to destroy it. To activate this ability, she’s required to reach into a victims soul and convince them that they’re damaged and in need of fixing. What reaching in their souls means that she would have to allow her aura to influence a targets body.

By using her aura, she can disconnect the victim from their human side which is done by poisoning their souls, causing them to experience psychological pain before completely turning into Savage beasts of their former selves. The aura is a constant power source for this ability and is of separation as opposed to her potions. Unlike her potions, the aura directly effects a person or creatures internally, through the use of poison that has a toxic chemical function that’s harmful to the mind. possible to reverse the effects of her metamorphosis, which can be done by understanding a victims soul and their desires.

By understanding these two fundamentals, one can fix an individual from the inside, therefore restoring them back to the victims original state. Her poisonous aura can leave a negative impact on an opponents psyche, causing them to feel pain and resentment for their actions as a side effect. This ability targets a victims willpower as possessing a willpower higher than hers, frees them of the effects caused by her ability.

» Pure Abilities:
Reforge:

Through this ability, she can cause anything she touches to regain it’s former glory. For instance, she can return a shattered blade back to it’s original condition, or she can repair a broken limb and cause it to become moveable. While this ability has it’s uses, one thing for certain is that she can’t use her ability to reforge large constructions such as buildings, though she’s able to repair minor things like a hole in the wall. But depending how deep and severely damaged something is, it’ll take a good amount of time before an object or an individual is back to it’s original state.

However, even when she completely reforges an item their durability drops to a single tier. Her ability to reforge things is tied to her energy usage/regeneration skill sheet, so if she were to possess a beginner in energy usage then she can repair something simple like a broken katana or a glass window while at higher levels it’ll become possible to repair things that orthodox methods wouldn’t suffice.
