"Everyone has their passions, alright, and I think I have been rather clear about mine."

Candice pouted again, clamping her hands on her hips as she watched Giselle go about the process of clearing up their trays. Mostly because she had no idea that was what was expected, but also because it offended her to have to clean up her own food after having just eaten.

Soon enough, though, they were back outside walking the streets. The sun was beginning to disappear behind the buildings, though these were tall buildings and it was far from dark yet.

"Let's start by seeing what we're working with here. A girl is only as good as her tools you know, so gimme some clues about your style."

Picking out an establishment that straddled the line between affordable and expensive, Candice once more took charge and led the way inside. Once they were in there, though, it was Gigi's show. What would she pick out, what was she interested in, what did she think might look good? This was where she could formulate a plot for what she actually wanted to do, and then try to tailor it to Giselle's preferences.

"Of course of course! I'm pretty excited to see what you can do!" She chimed in response, grinning from ear to ear as Candice seemed to beeline for one store in particular. Once inside Giselle couldn't help but feel a little lost as she looked around at the menagerie of outfits and styles. Was this really what human girls went through? Sorting through all this?

Her attention snapped to Candice, her mind briefly wandering. If Giselle wasn't here, how would she be behaving in an environment like this? However such wondering definitely had to be cut short as the human promptly put her on the spotlight. What was her style? She paused and looked down at herself for a moment. Thinking back for a moment, her gaze growing......distant. Thinking back.

What WAS her style?

Ah that was right. The first thing she ever picked up on her own was just some shirt she'd found lying around. Too big for her by a long shot. It had been of a corpse....freshly killed. It's throat torn right out. And then ....later on.... she'd found something similar to it that wasn't covered in blood. How long ago was that? That was when she'd just been wandering around....wasn't it?

She snapped back to reality, [s]oop there goes gravity[/s]. She paused for a moment. "Uhhhhh I dunno actually. I guess I always wore loose clothing because I'm pretty small and finding stuff in my size wasn't really an option. Buuuut then again that was kinda the thing with everyone back during the wars." She shrugged, lying. Her fashion sense had been sortof locked WELL before the World wars. But she'd had to explain that shit in the past. It was ..... easier for people to wrap their heads around her just having gone through such things during the world wars rather than some shithole european country over eight hundred years ago.

Pinching the bridge of her nose, Candice paid very little attention to what exactly Giselle was going through and more to the one piece of information she had given her. Her eyes were closed, deep in thought for a moment, as she tried to put the pieces together. Eventually, she released a quiet sigh.

"Loose clothes? No, no, no. We're going back to the basics then."

Grabbing some casualwear that looked about the right size for Giselle, Candice began to lead her towards the dressing room. If she wasn't going to tell her, then she would have to show her. And getting her out of that uniform was the first step in visualising where they were going to have to go.

"Try these on, then give me your best catwalk impression."

Giselle blinked, her head tilting for a moment. She had certainly expected the woman to be a bit incredulous when she had pointed out HOW she'd gotten to where she was. Pretty reasonable. But she did NOT expect Candice to ride so hard against loose clothes?! Oi what was wrong with that?!

She pouted just a little, but paused when she was handed the outfit for a moment and quirked a brow as she eyed Candice. "You could have at least hid a LITTLE of your disgust." She pointed out with a dull murmur, sighing for just a moment and rolling her eyes before she headed for the changing room with no doubt Candice in tow up until she got to the changing room itself.

Inside Giselle eyed the outfit. A clean white button-up. Thank goodness she wasn't wearing a black bra today. That ontop of a set of mid-length shorts? Giselle snorted just a little and began to change.

A minute or two later and Giselle walked out of the changing room, her hair done up into a folded bun, with just the very tip poking out the back, making it almost look like a short ponytail. She'd taken the liberty of rolling the sleeves up to just above the elbows. The shorts themselves were a sleek black and ended just above the knees. The outfit was casual, but the fit and materials were something sortof business like, something you might see in a laid-back librarian, which Giselle had picked up on and thus done her hair up.

Stepping out, she held her hands behind her back, a sly smile on her face as she strode forward and did a stop right in front of Candice and throwing up a peace sign and a half-turn! Sloppy, very unprofessional, but she was hardly a model. Nor was she particularly familiar with catwalks outside of a few movies anyway!

It wasn't the idea of loose clothes that offended Candice as much as it was the lack of insight it gave her into exactly what Giselle's style was. Of course, she had still done very little to mask her disgust but at least it got her instructions to be carried out. She would rather take a bit of sass for the ultimate pay-out. That was how benevolent she was, willing to take Giselle's abuse because she knew it would be better for her in the end. A real modern-day saint, if you will.

Those were the thoughts that Candice busied herself with as Giselle was in the changing room.

Then the curtain came back and Giselle revealed herself. Candice stood there, arms folded across her chest, and watched ever so closely as she performed her little routine - which was totally adorable with its own lazy style, by the way. Once she was done, Candi slowly began to nod her head.

"I love what you did with your hair. Quick thinking. The rest of this... Well we have a foundation now, don't we?"

She giggled a little, having known that this was probably how such a lacklustre choice of clothes was going to look well before Giselle had even stepped in the booth. But now she could see the woman that was under that uniform, and that had been the goal because even she wasn't silly enough to just ask her to strip down. Though that would have been the most practical option.

Still, she shouldn't be so downbeat, there was potential here. The shirt worked, to an extent, though the patterning did leave something to be desired. That could be workshopped. The shorts, ugh, instant no. It would be skirts from here on out, a nice dress or two if they fit the bill, but the tight pants were not going to work.

"Looks like we have our work cut out. But there are a few lines here that have potential."

Giselle grinned from ear to ear, winking and reaching up to pat her hair. "Oh you think so?~ Well thank you! I like it! Don't usually go messing with my hair." She hummed thoughtfully. Unaware that Candice was still checking her out. And indeed her physique would become very aparent. Underneath those baggy clothes she was a twiggy little thing. Definitely pear shaped with a lack of real bust aside from what could only be described as barely A cups. The only real curvature Giselle had was in her hips and legs and it wasn't a ton at that. But it was a slim build that definitely lent itself to more ....unique vibe.

"Well I'm glad that we're off to a decent start! So where we goin from here?" She ventured, briefly taking a moment to notice that Candice was eyeing her. She wasn't sure how to feel About this, not like she hadn't been peered at before, and she herself took a moment to eye Candice. Making note of her own physique and outfit, as if to try and see if there was anything she could pick up from them.

There was a vast difference between their physiques, one could have guessed as much from a passing look but became only clearer as Giselle was out of her uniform. Where Giselle was modest and gaunt, Candice was shapely and hale. But Candi did not mind working with different body types, she had played with plenty of different dolls in her time at the mansion and this was no different to that.

"You, stay right here and get ready to model some more outfits for me. I am going to work some magic."

Disappearing into the depths of the store, Candice began to scour the aisles for more items to give to Giselle. It could certainly be said that she was enthused, there was a real energy to the temperamental woman as many different items slowly wound their way up to the changing rooms. It was probably a little impressive - or imposing - that Candice already had Giselle's measurements down to a tee, but this was something she was naturally good at when she put her mind to it.

There were dresses first, a pair of long evening ones in black and red respectively, and then shorter ones, a little white number and a flowery one that was almost definitely not going to be a hit. Then came the shirts, similar in style to the first but with different patterns. Some were plain white with frills, others had little motifs, some were more like actual business shirts. Skirts too, as shorts were clearly not the choice, and there were several different forms to pick from. All for Giselle to try on and then Candice could collect more information, absorbing data like she was her own little fashion computer.

Giselle could not possibly help but just stare and smile along as she wound up roped into this whirlwind of clothing! She had to admit she knew this would be an ordeal, but she didn't expect the sheer VOLUME! Having never gone through such a process before, she had figured sure they would have her try on maybe ten outfits max, then maybe Candice would get in on the action. But before long it almost seemed like hours had passed! An endless flurry of outfits, going in and out of the changing room! Sometimes by herself, sometimes just briefly to make a few changes! Wait, did Candice wind up in there with her a few times?! THERE WAS NO TIME! She soon found herself lost in it all!

And at long last, as she walked out of the dressing room, she had something of a tired lack of energy compared to the first little catwalk stride she'd had, and she looked up to see a look of what SEEMED like satisfaction on her face. Giselle looked down at herself, eyeing the sleeveless plain white button-up, they having learned quickly that Giselle was suited for solid colors rather than patterns. Along with that she wore a thin black choker and a snug black tube skirt that cut around mid-thigh with a pair of boots. Finally, that sleek black hair of hers had been done into a snaking braid hanging over one shoulder, with just her bangs and those iconic twin wisps of hair bobbing from the top of her head.

Giselle glanced down at herself, and then looked back up at the blonde staring at her. Her head canted to the side, her smile widening a bit. "Oh? Have we found a winner? How do I look?" She asked, winking at the woman and secretly hoping this was it.

It was a blur of motion as Candice and Giselle got to work, outfits flying on and off at an impressive pace. Candice did not let her have all the fun, of course, and she did try on a few items. Most that were not worth mentioning, though she did discover a sheer-cut red evening dress that clung rather tightly to her figure in all the right places. It was also a fraction of the price she would have expected to pay for it too, so, whilst she was slumming it, why not buy herself a little treat too?

She had changed back to her regular getup when Giselle came out in her final outfit. There were still clothes for her to try on, but it only took one look for Candice to know that this was the look. Clapping her hands together excitedly, it seemed like she might even jump for joy but instead, she just motioned for her to turn around and face the mirror again.

"You look gorgeous, Z. That right there is the product of an evening well spent."

Standing right behind her, it was clear that Candi was taking in the views that Giselle was putting out. Certainly because she was ensuring that the clothes fitted as well as possible, as this whole little shopping trip had been her idea and she would be footing the bill.

Giselle was a little surprised when she noticed the look on Candice’s face upon finding the final outfit. It wasn’t something she saw often it was very different from the usual ‘oh cute!’ Looks she normally got. She almost felt sheepish as she was turned around and stared a little at herself in the mirror as Candice examined the fit of the outfit. It definitely was different than she was used to and it was ….nice? Much more formfitting than she was used to.

Truth be told? She didn’t care one way or the other. It might be useful for certain situations. But more importantly it seemed that Candice adored it which was the far more valuable aspect. Especially since Giselle had had the chance to see the outfits Candice had tried on.

”Wow this really IS nice! You got something nice too I noticed~ It waaaas…. Definitely a lot more fun than I expected.” she confessed, looking at Candice through the mirror before turning and smiling up at the taller woman. Gorgeous. Never been called that before.

”Thank You! I still may not hold a candle to Candy-chan, but its nice to close the gap just a little~” She chimed, putting in a bit of the flattery she knew Candice loved. ”So! Now that I’m all dolled up, where should we go next? Still got the energy to go out for a drink?” It almost sounded like a challenge.
