Rukia could tell that perhaps she'd killed the mood a bit, but at the same time, she didn't exactly feel guilty about that. What was she supposed to do, just give up something like that when she didn't want to? That wasn't something she'd do, not even in a state like this. Being picked up was nice, honestly, and she probably would have been just fine like that. The bed was awfully comfortable, but as Shiro went to leave, Rukia reached out and took hold of his sleeve, just tightly enough to keep him from leaving.

"...Stay here."

That's all she wants tonight. It's a selfish request, and maybe it's even a bit insensitive after she just turned down his advances like that. But she doesn't care at the moment. She doesn't want him going anywhere.

He expected this to happen, but she could have let her take a cold shower at least. He's still a bit hot under the collar. However, if she's going to be selfish, he preferred it be with him. So, as she stopped him from leaving, his only reaction was to sigh and comply. She better not throw a fit in the morning if she wakes up in his arms. Actually, she better remember every bit of this. Shiro is not going to deal with any memory loss shenanigans.

But, he couldn't help but chuckle. His drunk mind couldn't help but find this way too endearing. Ah, well. It's just one night. It's not tomorrow yet. There's no point thinking about the next day, and, besides, a good night's sleep works wonders. Sliding in next to her, the fact that he's not shirtless didn't even present itself as an issue. Honestly, he can't even remember if he had a shirt on this whole day or not. Jeez... His arms around her, and her head on his chest or whatever, he yawned. Being like this does get one unexplainable tired, yeah? When his eyes closed, hes unsure if they'll open again. He could die like this. It ain't too bad.
