Shuten Suika... A captain...
Shuten calmly studied herself in a nearby mirror, wearing her division's Haori over her current clothes; some of her more normal, but still covered up most of her skin, clothing. It was weird... she had weird feelings of this captaincy. Henrex... dismissed. Kuro? Disappeared. It was not something she would want unless promoted. Apparently, she was deemed appropriate as the new Captain of the Stealth Division. Under normal circumstances, she would have been quite happy; she would have even gone drinking with her girlfriend, Magnolia. However... Magnolia knew of her trepidation with such a promotion. Shuten would at least make sure to do her sister, her girlfriend, and her Head Captain proud. Regardless of that, Shuten still decided it would be best to take some time to walk around; to gain her thoughts.
That was exactly what Shuten did, taking to the seireitei to walk around and think; even venturing towards the barracks of the different squads as she drank her sake while walking. She wasn't exactly worried about where her feet carried her. After all, she was contemplating things that could be; things that might be. She was contemplating how she would be as a captain... She also couldn't help but wonder where the previous two captains may have gone. She knew not where Kuro was, which was natural, but she was honestly surprised Henrex had not find a way to talk to her now and then. He was a nice enough man... she just could never figure out the reason for his dismissal; at least, as far as why and not the exact reasons provided.
Regardless, Shuten walked. She drank her Sake calmly, her new Haori billowing behind her as the new Captain of the Stealth Division, Shuten Suika, wondered what the future may hold for her.

The rustling tree branches shakes through the evening breeze in the courtyard of the seireitei. There laid a white fountain filled with sparkling water, as a sculpted maiden sitting at the top of the fountain. The young shinigami sat crossing her legs, appearing as though she's meditating on the grassy plains, alone with only the chirping of birds to accompany her. What could a young shinigami possibly be thinking about, perhaps the meaning of life? Nah, sounds rather boring. A lovely man to sweep her off her feet? Sure but what sort of guy would find Moyaki attracted? Men these days cared more about ones beauty rather than strength. Especially ones who aren't invested in cliche samurai films and base her ideals on swordsman who're long gone. Maybe she could one day find a guy who's as deep into swordsmanship as she is. With nothing special to do, or any squads to indulge in, Moyaki took the time to gather in her thoughts, during a quiet evening alone in the courtyard.
In an attempt to clear her mind from the poisoning thoughts distracting her, the young shinigami imagines whether or not practicing meditation is a good idea. She personally never meditates, however, this seemed like a special case. Anytime she attempts to remember bits of her pass, an invisible force knocks the girl on her back. Moyaki took several deep breaths before revealing her brown almond shaped eyes to the world. The young shinigami stretches her right arm high before resting them. "Woo! now that was something." Her voice carried the sound of relief after a brief form of meditation.
Jumping to her feet, the young shinigami captured the appearance of a small stranger wrapped in a haori. An eyebrow rose in curiosity, "What's a captain doing on her lonesome?" Suddenly a drop of cold sweat ran down her left cheek. "Oh man, a captain! I don't look even remotely strong enough to approach them. I hope they don't mistaken me for some hasty newcomer or anything." The young shinigami's mind went in a frenzy before an idea shut out her nervous behavior. "Maybe if I catch her, we can train together." She mumbles, preying she could potentially learn something from the captain. Before the stranger could escape her view, the young shinigami approaches her in a bold fashion, crossing through the bushes of the courtyard to reach where she's heading. "Sorry if I'm being a bother, but I hope you're not too busy...Maybe we could...ummm, train together? I'm Moyaki Hoshisoda by the way." She asks with an accompanying smile.

Shuten Suika... A captain...
Shuten had vaguely felt a nearby presence, and it appeared the owner of that presence came out of wherever she was hiding and introduced herself to Shuten. Shuten drank her sake as she spoke, looking at her out of the corner of her eye. This Moyaki was an odd one. Shuten hadn't seen her before, but that wasn't much to talk about really; it was easy to miss many people in the thrum that was Soul Society. Well, sometimes it can be. Other times, it seemed like the world was so much smaller than it really was. Regardless, Shuten eventually stopped walking, lowering her sake dish from her mouth as she studied the girl. Frankly speaking, even if Shuten looked strong, and is a captain, it was like Shuten didn't look entirely comfortable in her Haori; like it was new for her.
She studied the woman silently for a few more seconds before she gave the woman a soft smile.
"No, you're not being a bother; and no, I'm not too busy. Tell me, what squad are you in, Moyaki? I don't think I've seen you around before."
Shuten soon gave her an appraising nod before she downed the sake in her rather large dish, stowed the dish near the gourd upon her hip, and then indicated for Moyaki to follow her. They would walk and talk for now; and they would arrive at the Stealth Division's training grounds after their leisurely walk. After all, Shuten wished to know the woman who was so intent to train with her. She seemed bold, maybe not an amazing fit for her division; but she knew someone who would accept her if she wasn't up to stealth.
"I'm Shuten Suika, by the way. You can call me Captain Shuten, if you wish; but I don't mind you addressing me by my first name either. It's still a bit odd to be called captain. Also..."
Shuten once more stole an appraising look at Moyaki, wondering what exactly she wished for as far as training went; what kind of training. It was an oddly piercing stare as Shuten's purple eyes searched Moyaki's own eyes for answers to unspoken questions. However, Shuten soon spoke again, as if she had not just searched the woman; silently sizing her up.
"If you wish to train, what do you wish to gain from such training? Not to mention, what do you want trained, Moyaki?"

The young shinigami began to further conduct a thorough examination of the haori wearing captain. Accompanying her is a rather short build, now less than five foot four? Perhaps Moyaki estimations were off by a few centimeters, however, the female captain stood shorter than Moyaki. A dwarf in comparison to the average in height shinigami. Pressed with a strange feeling, Moyaki made sure to not address the captain's height. No matter how puny of a captain she may seem, there lays an experienced member of the gotei who can easily kick her ass without a single glance. The girls eyes curiously lingers towards the female captain's sake dish; a rather large one at that. "How much alcohol is in that thing anyway and how do you have the tolerance to drink it all?" Moyaki asks in surprise by the amount of sake being swallowed up in an instant, akin to a vacuum collecting trash in one go. The female shinigami assumes her tolerance is large enough, despite the captains miniature frame. "Oh, well...I don't belong to a squad yet. I'm quite the fresh blood around here."
A myriad of souls were collected in the seireitei from each passing day. She understood the difficulty in keeping up with each soul traveling throughout soul society. Moyaki couldn't imagine how many souls enter soul society each day. Could be thousands or even millions. She would hate to be the one to keep track of each individual soul, but she assumed the gotei maintain active duty, so no leaf goes unturn. "What do I wish to gain from training?" Well, it felt like an obvious question to an obvious answer. "Is there more to training than just 'me grow stronger, me must train!' Sort of deal?" She attempt to mock the voice of a simple minded barbarian.
While all her life, she wanted to protect people. The ability to be their shining light always motives her to keep going. Ever since she was alive, she's always seen looking down on others who pick on the weak. She hated the way or be eaten way of live. The young shinigami wishes to fix such a corrupted way of thinking. Instead of being trampled upon because of ones weakness, she saw to becoming a stronger person, so she can be the hopeless guiding light to their darkness. The young shinigami found the question rather difficult to answer now. Rubbing her index finger on her left cheek, she attempts at a more feasible answer. "I want to focus on my swordsmanship, but I also want to be there to heal others, as well as have the necessary strength to fight. I want to gain a better perspective of what it means to protect someone." She requests with an eagered look in her eyes
