A striking habit of hers is the urge to jump straight into action without knowing the situation. Dangerous tasks seldom pose a threat to her carefree attitude, for she enjoys partaking in risky situations, so as long as the risk is rewarding. Her gutsy behavior became the source of minor property damage, in which she continues to work on and hopefully keep herself under control. Not many authorities are keen with her reckless behavior. A few may compliment for Moyaki's bold actions, while the rest detest her rough exterior. The authorities are just as suspicious with her as much as she's suspicious of them. She has a hard time dealing with people telling her what to do and how she does things. As such, she never gets along with older people. She tries her best to use her talents to overshadow their harsh opinions.

She admires the thrill of battle, so if any who dares to spoil the fun, then expect an ill-tempered freight train gunning for your neck. Her reckless actions do more harm than initially planned. While reckless to a fault, She shows careness towards the weak. Often depicted as a type of guard dog for others who’s unfit to defend themselves. She detest seeing a defenseless person getting thrown around and spat out like a dog to his chewing toy. The thought of a helpless victim causes her to screw everything else and deliver a beating. The wretched experience she felt as a helpless child, caused her to defend others who are familiar with helplessness. She has a tough exterior, built from the ground up. She never faced a genuine threat in battle, so she looks forward to knowing true hardship. This young shinigami seldom treats her seniors with respect, however, she doesn’t diss everything they stand for.

Experienced folks view her as a street punk with little manners to note. Although harmless to them, her elders feel as if she deserves a few moral lessons to direct the young shinigami to a proper path. When placed under a lot of pressure, she disregards other emotions, favoring quietness over loud, demanding thoughts. A glaring weakness of hers is flattery, which makes negotiating with her almost too simple. As long as she gets showered with compliments, she’ll remain as an ally. The smell, sight and feeling is what she enjoys most about nature. The ability to explore the earth's mighty aspects brings about a comforting thought. There are times when she'll refuse to fight, as this action is out of respect for nature. She'll generally choose a better place to handle bouts, so to not cause too much harm against the people or nature. She dapples into photography as the means to capture life to its full capacity. Introduced to the art of photography, she utilities her down time acquiring dazzling photos from the world of the living, as well as soul society.



» History:

Once born as a simple human girl with simple desires. The girl didn't stand out too much from the other kids, usually keeping things to herself. She causes minor trouble with the adults here and there. She Always wanted to do things her way, as she shrugged off rules that limited her ability to remain free. Constantly shackled down by rules governing society, she was seldom given the opportunity to spread those youthful wings and soar through the clouds. But freedom became a dream only the ignorant youth possessed, for the youngling knew not of the hardship that comes with growing up. Her father, known as the old sage amongst his colleagues, dappled into an underground business. The young girl knew little about her fathers past life. Curious as she felt about him, the girl grew to understand the old sages privacy. Despite being a man who her mother happened to meet one fateful day, she never truly trusted the man.

Children her age felt astonished by her ability to swerve past such boundaries that limits her ability to express herself, however, there's others who knew not to indulge in her behavior. The opportunity to witness a bold youth was once in a generation, as adults expected children to learn obedience the moment they arrived at grade school. Such qualities were only seen in the eyes of preppy school kids, who's paths was already set. By the time they were born, the chains of fate tied them down. Unable to imagine what the world was like without ridiculous expectations, people of higher class were looked at as mere trophies for their parents to flaunt. And while she was noted as a disobedient child with poor manners, others pointed out how well she was with most people. Delinquents were a common occurrence within her community, as small time criminals and thugs from different parts of the city would cause a ruckus with anyone.

Her father took part in making sure random small time criminals didn't have their way, however, there was a part of him that didn't feel right. She looked up to her brother, as he was set as an example to others. The type to lift one's spirit and tackle all odds, however, as brave as the siblings were, his ideas weren't always on point. Despite his bravery, he would usually find himself bruised up by the thugs. In order to stick up for the weak, he'd frequently get into fights with them, as the young Moyaki cheered in the background. She strove to achieve the same degree in spirit like her brother, but her mother would always remind her to stay out of trouble. As many warnings as her mother gave the girl, she still did things her way. And while they weren't the way her mother wanted, it was the naive spirit of youth, for which her mother couldn't get frustrated about.


She felt a lingering connection with the people she grew to like. To protect their warming smiles, she wanted to improve and become more than just a student at school.
Helping out her community to make sure their safe from petty thieves was one of the few activities that allowed others to remain at ease. She never allowed her parents to worry about the foolish adventures that ticked off her peers, for they would always admire her bravery. However, her reign over authority came to a screeching halt after a terrible accident struck the core of the Hoshisoda family. The secrets behind her father's activities left no stones unturned. The people never knew how neck deep her father was in his business with dangerous people. Most people hardly give a second thought to approaching the Hoshisoda's, as their sixth sense tells them that her family aren't too keen with others. The family values their privacy much more than familiar bonds. Ergo, this wasn't the case for Moyaki. The child tend to brag about how awesome her older brother and mother were. She spoke little of her father, unsure how to feel about him. The young child's mother; Rin, earged her daughter to show some respect for him, for he has done alot to keep the family stable.

The whereabouts regarding her father's underground business began to surface. The horrible truth revealed its fangs, sapping every bit of trust they felt and tossing it away. Her father was once known as a sage that kept people from harming his community, however, he cared more about his family safety than anything else. This secret was well kept from the youth, in order to protect her from the dark side of her family. Her fathers dream to keep the community safe, seemed like some mere fantasy to swell down the attention. The old sages secrets were revealed to the public, thus letting in rivaled organizations at the old man's throat, as well as sulling whatever future his daughter had. The old sages heart sank, as his future was in ruins.

Foolish to allow things like trust and honor to guide his decisions, the old man was forced to witness a fated end to the hoshisoda family. As much as they wanted to fight back, the opposing forces were relentless, for they killed anything that moved. The lives the old man ruined was paid in full. The carelessness of the old sage created panic and discord amongst the family, which resulted in the families swift death. She resented her father for dragging them in his business. Her resentment gave birth towards her hate for adults. Nothing but blood and fire filled the room. The burning fiery dragged the poor youth down into the afterlife, but fortunately for her she was allowed another chance at life. The young girl's second chance at life began in a small district located in rukongai. There she resided in a colorful place, drenched with wandering souls of people from countless generations. Some were hostile, others were welcoming. Nonetheless, she knew what she had to do; to scrape by until some miracle happens that could get her out of the dump and find answers about her past.


Surviving alone in an unknown environment, wasn't a simple task. Many people were after many different things. Strength mattered over all, and if one possessed the ability to strike back, then expect a few pumblings from street rats lurking in alleys and abandoned buildings. She wasn't keen on the strong devouring the weak mindset, so she was forced to develop her skills through a hostile environment to protect others. Through her rigorous journey to establish herself in an eat or be eaten world, she came across a lonesome noble standing beneath a shrine. The shrine casted an enchantment on the young girl, admiring its historical untouched structure. The young, lonesome noble often comes to visit the shrine, because it holds a faint familiar air. While the two shared different reasons for visiting the shrine, they couldn't help but feel attracted to its presence. The young noble often finds herself visiting the shrine, for whenever she felt troubled. Those who prayed to the shrine would ensure the believers remained guarded. After some time visiting the shrine, a sudden sense of disturbance engulfed the air. Sights of the young noble were null, so her instincts told her to investigate. While, Moyaki never properly introduced herself to the noble, she still felt obligated to find her. But unfortunately her search was cut short. Ambushed and kidnapped by a group in robes, they took hold of Moyaki, never to be heard from again. Shortly after being uncovered from a brown bag, she was introduced to clients related to the female noble. Confused, she desired to know what was going on.

After explaining the situation to Moyaki, she was eventually freed and offer to join their ranks in the family. They realized she had nowhere to go and no family. She was promised education and plenty of training. In order to achieve her goals, the young girl needed to push for something greater. Unwilling to back down on their offer, Moyaki accepted and welcomed their in the family. For some years of training, the young girl held enough skills to attend the shinigami academy with the female noble. The pair grew familiar with each other, as days in the academy went on. In the academy, she was able to learn more than to use her fists. While the lessons were boring, she did get to experience the brighter aspects of it. Moyaki wasn't the most respectable child, for she would often find herself doing chores around the school.

The young girl was noted for her combative technique, considered to be one of the finest within her class, however she was met with a rival with better quality in his skills. She was looked down on as a brute who only used their fists rather than their head. The two often get into arguments and challenge one another in duels. The pair kept track of their record till graduation. As years in the academy flew by, their bonds eventually grew and altered each other's perspective. With half of the academy knowledge in tact, the young girl felt excited to explore the rest of soul society. Another part of her also wanted to explore the current state of the world of the living. Visiting the world of the living was no easy trip.

Prior to becoming a full fledged shinigami, she knew nothing about how to travel to and from the human world, until she was taught a way to travel between soul society and the world of the living. In order to prepare herself from potential threats, she searched for potential teachers to assist her in obtaining greater strength. The girl was partnered up with a fellow shinigami on an assignment to destroy hollows and guide souls. At first the joint operation was going smoothly, however, they encountered a flaw in their plans. Her habit to charge in without acknowledging the situation, caused her partner to fall into the clutches of a hollow. In an attempt to rescue a victim, who found themselves in the hands of a hollow, she did what only she knew how to do; Beat the damn thing until it dies.

The young shinigami wasn't an expert combatant, so she struggled to get the upper hand in the fight. She feared that if the fight continued on soon, two of them will fall into an unrecoverable injury. She didn't want to think about death at a time like this, so she ignored the smell of death and continued fighting. After a long winded fight with her first hollow, she managed to come out on top. But due to her recklessness, her relationship with the partner grew sour. A part of him wished to thank Moyaki for saving him, but another hoped she had avoided going straight forward without a solid plan. At first she didn't care, so long as the hollow was dealt with and people isn't badly harmed. But this wasn't the case in their world. Her reckless actions were paid in full, when one day a stronger hollow appeared in Karakura. She possessed little strength to conquer the hollow on her own.

While her partner was there to assist the young shinigami, their teamwork proved futile in the efforts to contain this deadly hollow. The amount of training she faced wasn't enough to deal with a dangerous threat. Too stubborn to rely on help from other shinigami's, the girl strived to find a way to end the terror and guide others to their safety. Her weaknesses caused her to fall, but not enough to back out from the fight. As back up arrived, she was forced to withdraw from the fight and let the stronger ones finish the job. She began to detest her weakness, wishing to find a way to overcome them. For months she trained to hone her body and sword to never lose to hollows, who she assumed was weaker compared to the young shinigami.

Months of her training paid off, as the young shinigami began to witness an improvement of her abilities. Moyaki proved capable of defending different types of hollows that threatened the world of the living, but she didn't feel satisfied with how much she'd grown. The young shinigami felt a lingering desire for more power. Enough power to gain recognition amongst the gotei. The girl sought to impress those who spent decades to harness their abilities, but even then those long years of training was only the beginning. She knew many great captains over the years, fighting for what's right. To safeguard the world of the living from high level threats, they knew that strength alone wouldn't cut it. In order to become the symbol of light and justice upon the world littered with hollows, she focused her attention to improve in other areas.

» Racial Abilities:


Kido: While manipulating the flow of nature into magic to form spells weren't her best assets as a shinigami, she was still considered to be an average practitioner. Noted for her ability to produce basic level spells at a nearly skilled level, she possessed some knowledge on the process of Kido and how to cast spells. Her library of kido spells is rather small. She favors using binding techniques and healing spells to provide minor support for her allies, as she discards assaulting her opponent with offensive spells. Due to the high demand for healers, she spent most of her time coming up with unique spells fitted for the support type. She's capable of casting kido spells with haste. By using her ability to perform high speed incantations, she can cast spells much quicker, shortening the time needed to prepare spells and perform them.


Hakuda: She possessed brute strength ever since she was a child. Protecting the weak from petty thugs and bullies littering her community. She has a unique idea for combat, and while she wasn't properly taught the arts of hand to hand fighting, she was able to produce desirable results on her lonesome. She's capable of dealing deadly force of attacks that could potentially put an average human being in a wheelchair. She builds her combat knowledge through each battle. Meaning for every fight the shinigami is in, she can come up with a few techniques to deal with certain situations. Moyaki is capable of leaving long lasting injuries on an opponent if she's being underestimated. Leaving incurable scars caused by her strikes, should they come unprepared.


Zanjutsu: She possesses average knowledge of swordsmanship. While her stance is sloppy and her knowledge of how to use a sword is rough, she's still capable of combining her strength into her swings. When using her zanpakuto, she can generate wind slashes to assault her foes. Swinging with her might, she's capable of dealing considerable amount of damage. She can cut through simple material such as materials made of wood, or something as hard as concrete.

Karui acts and speaks like your typical monk. Always preaching about good faith and following old traditions. He's a calm and soft spoken man, who's words are able to ease the worry of his fellow colleagues. Although he wish not to fight, he doesn't mind going so if its what his master wishes, however, Karui only assist his master, should she face a servant of evil. He does whatever he can to ensure the world is pure. He maintains a poised state of mind, preferring to chat rather than rough housing. He believes that improving oneself doesn't rely on strength alone. Rather, he believes that harnessing one's mind and body can prove fruitful in one's path to enlightenment. He detest barbarians which is why he doesn't assist the young shinigami in her usual quarles. He doesn't like utilizing his talents for needless battles, as he much prefers to meditate and drink warm tea. At times, he may give the young shinigami helpful wisdom.


» Inner World:

Her inner world takes place in a Holy Temple fixed on a cloudy platform. High above the sky stands a unique sacred structure, from where her zanpakuto sits. The vast area is filled with the endless blue sky that stretches on for miles. The only visible thing that accompanies the area is the sun. The burning star casts its sunlight upon the temple, eliminating any shred of darkness that may so harm the peaceful shrine.

» Zanpakutô Appearance:


Her zanpakuto takes the form of an ordinary Japanese Katana, with the handle of the blade decorated with a grey hilt. Upon released, her zanpakuto shifts from an ordinary katana to a long, thin polearm. The polearm extends roughly 7 inches, as the blade of the polearm is 5 inches long. Along where the blade starts is a red cloth, attached to a golden part of the spear.

» Shikai Abilities:

Her zanpakuto abilities deals with purification; the right to rid all the negative aspects possessing mankind. When using her ability, she can clean her allies of harmful effects, such as poison. In addition to healing others from poisonous elements, she can also repair physical damage, like a nurse patching up a wounded patient. The effect depends on how severe the damage is, such as a severed arm, or a hole in one's chest. While she's able to repair serious to life threatening injuries, these all require a hefty amount of Reiatsu to use. She can only repair dangerous injuries once in a while, as this can cause negative effects to crop up within her. Minor injuries can be simple to patch up, which requires up to two posts to complete, while serious injuries require up to four posts to finish. Her main aspect deals with negative effects, as she can cleanse the mind and body from harmful elements that causes the victim's body to perform lower than average. Once the wounds are patched up, the person's health returns back to normal.

This action requires a decent amount of Reiatsu to use, along with the ability to identify the nature of the effect. Her zanpakuto can increase the damage dealt to demons, as their hellish nature reeks with sinful desire. When confronting a demon, her tier increases by one, as the result of their unholiness. The combative aspects of her zanpakuto allows her to manipulate light that purges evil from the inside, which also assists her in healing, as she can utilize light to tend to injuries. She's capable of conjuring light to burn her opponents with its blinding effects, as well as constructing weapons out of light to use for close to long range combat. When using her light for long range, she can create projectile-like attacks. For close range, she can conjure swords made up of light. It helps to understand ones intentions before commencing battle. Should her opponent bear ill will, then the negative aspect of her zanpakuto shall be rid of their wicked hearts with the taste of her divine judgement. The quality of her zanpakutos attacks depends on whether the target exhibits any intent to kill someone. Her attacks are normal when up against friendly combatants, meaning she cannot boost the effects of her attacks, as they're meant to harm sinful beings. She can only gain physical boosts when confronting evil, thus preventing her to use them on anyone she's allied with.

» Bankai Abilities:

Upon achieving bankai, her zanpakuto grants her the ability to further enhance the effects of her healing capabilities, as well as casting larger light based attacks. Her bankai allows her to reduce the time needed to heal wounds, almost as if the injuries are repaired in an instant, however, she's still required to pay the necessary amount of Reiatsu to ensure its quality. She's limited in healing an injury taken by someone whose the same tier or lower. If an attack was used that's higher in tier, then she can only diminish the pain, but not the effect. She can conjure complex creations, such as military type weapons to assault her opponents from a long range. These military weapons all use specialized bullets to interfere with a victims sinful state of mind. This means she can purify their souls, which results in the targets willpower to decrease.

She can cause a victim's will to fight her to decrease, thus resulting in their ability to harm her to weaken, however, should their willpower be adept or higher, the effects will be negated. She can manipulate the trajectory of the bullets for more precise shots by guiding them to where the target is located. The bullets are capable of picking up a targets heat. Once the bullets trace the targets heat signature, then she can pierce their skins. However, the bullets have a fixed range, as they can only reach up to 200 feet before disintegrating. The bullets are capable of being evaded via masking one's Reiatsu, thus resulting in her bullets to miss. One can also simply tank her shots, should their durability be adept or higher.

In bankai, she can infuse her body with light energy to protect her against effects that cause her performance to decrease. Not only that, she can also free herself from lethal attacks through the use of regeneration. This only lasts for two posts. She can make use of her light to hinder one's ability to regenerate, by thrusting one of her attacks into the victims body, thus causing their cells to fight off the foreign components of her energy. This only works on victims, who's tier is lower than hers. In addition, she can also utilize different binding techniques with her light to capture her foes and purify them. To bind her opponents, she must get into a fixed position. In addition, she's required to enact an incantation for the binding to work.
