Spilled Secrets [Closed]

A hard day of training was often best ended with a good meal, and a good drink. Chidori had the kids taken care of tonight, and as much as he loved his Ex thought it best to give her space. Perhaps even the idea of reconcillation was in his head, both of them seemed to be in better head spaces after all. He never intended for their separation to be permanent but more of a brief time apart to focus on what mattered for both of them. Between the state of her family, he thought it was good she spent more time with them then with him.

Thus Solhammond Palliser was completely fine to find a small tavern of sort, one he heard had some pretty decent food and drink. He came alone but with a smile on his face, waiting in line to be given a table. It didn't take long and after some brief conversation made somewhat difficult by his accent, he managed to secure a seat at the bar. In no time he'd order whatever Sake was the house special, and while perusing the menu a streak of pale hair caught his eyes.

It appeared to be... Yugiri!?

Sol was a bit surprised to see Yugiri in such a fashion let alone here, but despite their previous history he placed an easy smile on his face. He'd approach her in a stride which held a natural grace, refined from when she last saw him. His time among the Suika certainly had served him well, taking a seat next to them while holding his Sake from earlier. She probably didn't recognize them, and that was fine he wanted to try to get things off on a better foot.

"You look like, you might enjoy company."

The smooth tenor was met with a wonderful smile, a natural brightness to it which shined through the almost dim lightning of the tavern. He'd slip himself into a seat next to them, as he placed his own Sake down taking a small sip. His head turning to look at them, as now his rose tattoos which ran down his arm and slightly exposed on his back was on display.

"Or perhaps someone to talk to?"

Yugiri had changed since they last spoke, maybe she might recognize him through his voice. He didn't mind, but depending on her reaction he'd reintroduce himself.

"Tough question. Half the time I don't know, but I think that's ok. Not knowing what you want. Better than chasing something without really caring, ya' know?"

He'd offer a smile as he answered the question candidly, while he was sure she wanted a more direct answer he went for something else. It wasn't a lie either, he didn't know what he wanted out of this conversation. Maybe vindicate himself from the first time they spoke and she was an ass. But since his evolution as a man, he felt far more at peace in his own skin and abilities. With that he'd lift his sake to his lips, taking an amused sip before placing it down.

"It's only fair I ask back; what do you want?"

He'd question with no real purpose, but rather searching. It wasn't often he saw a noble slumming it here, let alone one whom held such a pride as Yugiri. But the fact she was speaking to him, even as a total stranger, it showcased something had changed with her. Or that he didn't know her as much as he first pinned her as.

"Wait can I change my answer, I'd like some of your Sake."

A wide smile formed on his lips.

"Wise? Deep? I hope not, to be young and wise would be horrible."

He'd comment with a smile towards her, clearly enjoying the little verbal jest. She certainly seemed relaxed in this setting, yet oh so out of place. It was a bit cute, in all truthfulness. The little chuckle which left her lips illicited one out of him, loosened up by both his recent experiences and the soft burn of sake. However her last questioned made him raise a brow with some level of surprise, before slowly his hand slide across the counter towards her sake stopping a few inches from it. He didn't invade her personal bubble anymore than he already did, but his grey-green irises would stare at her own with amusement.

"It's a fairly simple statement, although may I should be more direct. Would you enjoy that?"

He'd question tongue-in-cheek, playful in nature with no real nefarious intentions. Once he got her reaction he'd let out a small laugh unable to contain himself, his other hand deftly sliding his sake towards her to have it stop short on the counter.

"Some friends of mine are big alcohol enjoyers, they encourage people to share their drinks. It's a token sign of friendship, and revelry. Unless you don't wanna be my friend."

Sad puppy dog eyes followed. Although, despite that it was hard to hide the faint smile on his lips. This was kinda fun.
