After facing and helping his Vice-Captain, it had become clear to him. More and more that he knew little about his Zanpakuto's powers. He pushed and did try to activate Bankai. What he obtained was a momentary glance into its void. It was a thing that bothered him now. He was beginning to see his incomplete form in this sense. He'd have to train.
But not with Vait or anyone else, the best teacher for this moment imaginable. She sat on a rock within the world. Her torn grey clothing and lithe body sat there. Moving the chains around as she acknowledged his presence. Her gaze was stern and seemed annoyed by his presence more than anything.
"Come to beg for help?" She asked pulling the chain balls up to her so they rested on her palm. She could juggle these with ease, but as he looked at them. She stood up, taking a small step off the rock. Bringing her down and towards his location. She eyed him up and down, taking in his current state. Almost like examining a prized item.
He looked at her, turning left and right as she moved around him. He had to acknowledge he'd been lax in developing her powers. Or rather training with her, he'd been doing poor at that. She was the greatest teacher one could have, she knew more about her powers than anyone in the real world did.
"I'm sorry, I should have come to you much sooner. I didn't realize how much I hindered my own progress. I need your help, I don't know what to do to grow anymore. I feel myself at a stalemate." She looked at him gauging as she looked around at the galaxy.
"It's been lonely you know, with you only paying attention to Vait." She said looking at him milking the guilt he felt as she observed the cosmos around him. This place was home, but quickly the scape began to change as the inner world shifted.
She smiled a bit as she spoke again, her voice coming out. "I think you should call my name, my real name." She said giving him a glance, not allowing him time to answer the previous question. He felt a sting, but then he confusion. Why had she said that, his head tilted to the left. Confusion clear on his face, as she said those words.
"But your name is..." He tried to say as her stern look cut him off. Showing that he didn't know the truth of his Zanpakuto. She sighed softly walking over to him now. Her attitude was that of her master being a handful.
"My name is..Bakagiri, not whatever that other name is. "
Emotions began to flood him as he heard the name clearly, it felt like pieces of a puzzle fell into place. Quickly assembling themselves. He understood so much more with this. His awareness of it made her smile, he could hear the name she wanted him to speak.
"Bakagiri, I'm sorry to have called you the wrong name all this time." He said hanging his head in shame, some Captain. He didn't even know his Zanpakuto's name until this moment. But this did provide an interesting possible opportunity, it meant he'd not see his Shikai yet.
"Will you train me again, this time with the real thing?" He asked bowing his head to her, he could feel her smiling. As she tossed a sword onto the ground in front of him.
"Alright, but no wimping out this won't be easy."
