You Have Six Minutes

Where have they gone? It used to be so easy to hunt them down. Even though she had made a new family that didn't mean she would leave her old one alone, the many hundreds of years shared as memories. As fraccion and siblings, she wouldn't just give up on that.
Alex had some idea, Hayden had some idea. The reason why she was skipping off to Hueco Mundo every now and again just to keep looking around the infinite wasteland.
Just six more minutes left. Six more minutes before she had to go home and make dinner. Less out of need and more out of desire, it was so tiring to look around and find nothing. It weighed on her mind and fatigued her.
"I don't think I'll find them today... but they're not dead. They can't die..."

Tier Harribel | The Shark of Hueco
Hueco Mundo is an infinitely spanning wasteland filled with nothing but sand and gruesome beings of negativity. Tier is sure she can find her Fraccions in this desert. There is little doubt in her mind. The only worry she has is the amount of time it will require to do so. And, of course, some would even question whether they still live or not, but Tier has no such worries. They separated with one goal: to reunite once again. The former Espada knows her Fraccions. Even if they each have their own quirky natures, when it comes down to promises, none of them would ever do something as foolish as die and break their oath on that sad day. Though, how long has she been traveling now? Everyday and night, she has traversed over the hot sands underneath her feet, moving forward towards nothing but an unseeable end. She has seen much, Arrancar against Arrancar, Hollows hunting and devouring one another, and sometimes a lost soul wandering into her home; they do not last long. It would prove troublesome and fruitless to intervene in everyday struggles that all who exist within Hueco Mundo experience, even though she dislikes the ease at which her fellow Hollow commits atrocities with one another.
The sudden presence of something powerful caught her attention and brought her out of her inner thoughts, pausing her movements. She knows this is not the presence of a Vasto Lorde. It is an Arrancar; someone with power rivaling that of an Espada. ‘Sonído’ Her movements are exemplified by a booming staticy noise as she vanishes from her spot and appears yards away from the one she had sensed. Her eyes widened with surprise, but, quickly, narrowed as she appeared before the green haired woman, Nelliel: the former Tercera Espada. Unexpected, yet, not entirely hated, Tier is unsure, at first, what may become from this random encounter, but she does know she harbors little contempt for the woman who used to be what she was so long ago. Tier knew little of Nelliel beyond the fact that they had shared a position within Aizen’s army before it was disbanded. There were rumors and expectations thrown her way, but those mattered little to Tier and did not remain within her memories for long, but the colored woman does remember that Nelliel had left Hueco Mundo for Earth.
“A ghost of the past here to haunt these old sands once more, former Tercera Espada?”
Her greeting is short and confrontational, simply to learn of why Nelliel has returned to Hueco Mundo. Curiosity is her sin and it sways her actions. Yet, she does not stand with an oppressive aura or seem to be in a position that speaks of future violence. It is difficult to tell truthfully with the way her lower face is normally covered and with the way her green eyes narrow as if she is critical of everything. Still, as her arms fold under her bosom, there is a strange cant to her head that is rather comical when compared to her serious tone.

Sonido. A peculiar adaption of the shinigami's shunpo, there was a particular trait about it though that made it most peculiar though. The fact sensing an arrancar in motion who was moving was far more difficult compared to others. It's why when the image of a ghost.
Why did they meet? Was it per chance or by fate. She was more the philsophical thinker compared to the majority of her kind but that did not mean she bound herself to these things. Put straight, Tier's presence was more or less an interruption whether it was by intent or luck it would occur.
"I'd implore you to recall my reputation is hardly as threatening as you make it out to be... Former Tercera Espada."
What was her successor if not also a former holder of the now relinquished title that had disappeared with a person of old.
"What do you want? I'm hardly interested in fighting you, the optimism I once had for our kind is all but dried up and I just want to live my own way."
She looked down like she was checking a nonexistent watch. Five minutes.

“I was chosen to be your replacement because I was stronger than the others, but that does not diminish the fact that you were stronger than the others as well. Even if such titles matter little now, surely, you have not degraded to such an extent with the passage of time.”
Life is full of surprises. Life is also a peculiar thing. Beings do not simply die unless something removes them from the Soul Cycle. They continue to flow through it in a circular motion. Yet, many start at different points on the cycle. Surely, this cycle has some form of sentience, yes? Maybe fate is but a fraction of that sentience. These two former Espada may be meeting by chance or maybe life has something that it desires from the two of them. Tier isn’t one to think so heavily on something such as that, not at a time like this when her notions are being questioned.
“I have little optimism for our kind as a whole myself. They are savages, a lot of them… I simply thought you were someone else, one of my Fraccion to be exact.”
Nelliel seemed far from interested or caring about this chanced meeting. Tier does not blame her. As a person who does not actively search for conflict, herself, running into another Arrancar with little idea of what they desire would cause for caution. That is why Tier allowed herself to speak her true goals openly. She desires this moment to be painless and to uplift the tension between the two, even if it does little but leave a nice memory of the other in their minds. Enemies prove pointless and far too easy to make in Hueco Mundo.
Turning her head off to the side, her hand passively moves up to the white collar around her face and readjusts it, giving a little insight to the mask that covers her jaw underneath. Her eyes focus on nothing in particular, finding the ever expanding landscape a grim analogy to her quest.

"You'd do well to know, I'd prefer not to be remembered for my strength."
She retorted. A little irked by the comment that reminded her of one of the things she so wholly hated about her kind. Strength is the basis of everything, all arguments and all lifestyles must boil down to strength. Whether to protect a pack, prey on people or anything. Strength was all that mattered.
"My condolences. It's rare to find someone who cares so much for their fraccion. I balance trying to recover mine with the many tubulent events of life."
Nelliel added on but looked at her wrist again, the imaginary hands ticked to tell her four minutes to go.

Tier Harribel | The Shark of Hueco
“If not for the strength you disown, neither of us would be standing here. Strength is essential to life. It is what allows us to protect what we believe in. If only our people did not stoop to such barbaric means to acquire it.”
As hypocritical as it may be, Tier despised Hueco Mundo’s way of life. The weak are only tools or food for the strong. Such has created a life that is full of nothing but fear for many; fear that they may be each other’s next meal. She has never spoken of how she became a Vasto Lorde, a tale full of nothing but betrayal and anguish. If not for Aizen, despite her hatred for the Shinigami, she would have never evolved beyond such primal sins. At least she can thank that bastard man for this opportunity. She remembers how strange her relationship with her Fraccion seemed to the other Espada. They weren’t her minions or fodder. They were, and are, her family.
“Your sympathy is well received, but I do not doubt they are out there. If only these sands did not reach endlessly, we would have reunited by now. We barely know one another besides names, so I have little knowledge pertaining to your own Fraccion, but I am sure they are well also somewhere in this desert.”
There is a pause in her response. A curious gleam in her sharp eyes as she returns her gaze back to Nelliel. “If you so allow, I will look out for your Fraccion, voice your concerns for their wellbeing to them, and hopefully, such will allow for you to reunite with them.” She is a woman with a cold exterior, but inside, she has been noted to have a gentle heart and frighteningly caring to those she deem worth it. Maybe it’ll come off as surprising to others however. Though, her words are eaten away by a sudden gust of wind that ruffles the golden locks atop her head. There is one thing Tier must point out that has perplexed her.
“However, do tell. For what reason do you continue to check your wrist?”

"That's because we're a pitiful race of negative emotions, violence is a coping mechanism and a means of continued survival. It's how it works here."
She added to the topic, it was different to talk to someone of her kind that had reason and logical thinking. Maybe it was a women's thing. Female hollows did seem more mellowed in demeanour.
It felt weird receiving concerns for her fraccion. She didn't even know her fraccion and yet she expressed worry about their wellbeing. Almost disconcerting really. So she gave a tight smile that tried to show her appreciation but was slightly skewed by her being taken off-guard.
"My wrist? Oh, I've got to go make dinner in about three minutes..."
She trailed off, looking around sheepishly.
"Y- You can come if you'd like I suppose. I don't like staying in Hueco Mundo for too long these days."

“Yet, beings such as yourself prove that there is more than just negativity among us.”
A compliment? No, it is a mere fact that Tier has stated. Nelliel may take it as she pleases. In fact, the two of them proved not to be the only members of the Espada that showed capacity for more than just violence and negativity. Yet, due to the circumstances, they each only knew the bare minimum of one another. Maybe that is simply her fault for not exploring her comrades further than what she did, a true folly for someone as investigative as herself. Yet, the past is the past and her worry is for the now.
However, Nellial proves that there is a pressing issue that will soon take her attention elsewhere from her search: dinner. Strangely, Arrancar do not need to eat like every other race. Most Hollows do not eat for basic nourishment, but mostly to grow stronger by harvesting souls. Perhaps Nellial is preparing dinner for another besides herself. Though, asking for such information may prove too invasive in the other’s life. Already, Nellial has left Hueco Mundo. It would be weird attempting to slide into the woman’s life with unimportant questions. That is until Nellial invited the dark skinned woman over.
“I do not require food, but I have been searching far and wide to no avail. Maybe a break outside of Hueco Mundo may prove necessary.”
Tier has only visited the human world once and that was during Aizen’s invasion. Has her infamy stayed the same or dimmed during her time isolated? There is only one way to know, and maybe, she is proving herself a bit too interested in the mundane life that Nellial now lives. How different from the constant warring on these sands is it? When she finds her Fraccion, would moving to Earth prove a possible option? She wishes to experience this dinner, not for the food, but to know if it is as nice as it seems.
