» Physical Appearance Description:

Standing at around 6'5 and weighing in at around two hundred and thirty pounds, Akhet is what some might call 'ideal' physical shape. He has worked hard to gain this shape through fighting beasts (supernatural or not) in the deserts that he calls home and yet through all those struggles is truly unblemished. His tan complexion, a mixture of his time spent traveling under the bright sun and the Iramasha he reincarnated from's choice, is tantamount to this as not a single scratch, bruise, or scar seems to be visible. Looking beyond the basic physical features such as stature, weight, or skin tone Akhet possess a notable trait that is visible quite clearly upon first meeting him: His eyes, golden as the sun, and just as piercing as a ray of light cutting its way through the darkness. These eyes are almost always brimming with confidence and almost daring those who would challenge him to make the first move and test the limits of what the sun is capable of. This confidence plays it up in his stature, always standing straight, never hunched over, and always giving off an air of nobility despite being very much a wanderer.

The clothes that Akhet usually chooses to wear are comprised of a flowing, white, unhooded cloak which are matched with a pair of black trousers that are roomy and allow for better ease of movement and more room to breathe in the hot deserts that he traverses. He is adorned in a vast array of golden jewellery, some of which is embedded with sapphires, and most of which glow in the sunlight as he travels from place to place. This lends to the appearance of royalty, even though he is clearly not. His chest lays bare, as he finds shirts to be too confining, and stuffy for traveling through hot climates. His belt, holding his pants up, is almost entirely ornamental. This belt is made of gold and has swaths of blue paint, sapphires, and even clear blue fabric tassels that hang from it and flow in the wind when it blows. Some may view this appearance to be gaudy, but Akhet views it as him simply embodying the glory of the sun. Showing the world, this an the next, the majesty and unadulterated beauty of the sun itself.

» Personality:

Boistrous: Every word and every single noise that escapes Akhet's lips is loud and commanding. Like a king standing over his subjects decreeing his passion or his laws upon those that serve him loyally and to the very end. Much like the sun, so must he be, at least that is what Akhet thinks, and as such acts accordingly. As the sun looms over all things, his words must be known, and they must be always heard and never mistook for something that he did not utter. This also translates into the actions that he takes. If he is to do something, he must do something in a splendid manner, and a grandiose methodology will be taken into account as he plans out his actions. Nothing he does is light handed or silent, everything that he does is considered to be at full force and with as little thought to restraint as possible.

Honest: In all respects, Akhet is a pretty honest, and straight forward individual who does not cheat, lie, or steal to get what he wants. At times this honesty can be a detriment as he refuses to lie, not wishing to sully the sun from which he draws his power, or to devalue the being who came before him that chose to reincarnate as him. And while his foes may take advantage of this, Akhet has made sure to plan accordingly for those that would take advantage of his honest nature, and exploit it for their own gains. The punishment for treachery after all is incineration by the vibrancy of the sun, any less would be sinful, and would only set the groundwork for future evils to be committed against him. For those that are allies to Akhet, however they will never find a more honest and loyal friend, always willing to speak his mind, and aid in whatever means possible without any fabrications as to what he would want in return.

A True Challenger: Those who boast of power, who wield it in aggressive fashion, and exploit their power to tower over the weak will only find Akhet waiting for them in the wings. Akhet has made it his ambition to topple those who dare besmirch the concept of power and leadership as he has seen the rise and fall of empires due to the sickness that is belligerence and the curse known as apathy. More over, Akhet values the opportunity to fight those who wield power justly as well as one must always test their limits, and strive to improve. Never must one rest on their laurels and watch as they are passed by and phased out, one must always put one foot in front of the other, always moving forward underneath the sun's benevolent gaze. As such, he relishes physical and mental challenges as he believes such things can keep you sharp, and keep you growing as an individual. And that in essence is why he continues to challenge those who would oppose him or accept challenges of those who seek him out.

Warm and Welcoming: Akhet is a warm and welcoming man once you get to know the man behind the grandiose gestures and overly loud personality. He generally is generous and in situations when someone is struggling emotionally or physically he is usually the first to lend a hand or an ear to their troubles. When one enters his territory or the area that he is located at, he tends to be courteous until the intentions of his visitors are known. Furthermore when in his place of dwelling, he tends to treat the visitor with a great deal of respect, and is generally speaking a good host. Still, if someone treads on his hospitality, and spits in the face of his kindness, he generally lashes out with very little consideration for the aftermath of his actions. After all, an insult to Akhet is simply like insulting the sun, and to those that dare insult the giver of life and light? Only swift retribution and equal punishment to the sin is a possibility.

Larger than Life: Akhet is anything, but average. He believes himself to be an avatar of the sun's grace and power in all things and acts accordingly with a vibrancy and authority that would rival some kings. Sometimes this sort of act rubs other's the wrong way, but to Akhet thinking about the feelings of those so easily irritated by the sun's choice in champions is irrelevant. Much like a king as well, Akhet tends to place the problems of people under his protection on his own shoulders, and refuses to share the burden. It is an expression of his kindness and just the sort of man he strives to be, which is in contrast with the person that he "used" to be who's journal speaks of his atrocities and actions that were of a selfish variety. In essence, Akhet wishes to repair the image left behind by a withered and old Iramasha that could have cared less if the Earth burned.

I. Character History

Akhet, to be frank, knows very little about the Iramasha that he used to be. Be it due to an incomplete ritual that simply gave him physical form and life or be it because of some kind of penance that his past self wished to pay. Akhet knows not of the whos or whats of his past self, but what he does know, from the bit that he has read of a journal left behind to him is not entirely good. The person that he used to be was something of a power monger, consistently seeking out methods to expand his influence, and power as he cared not for who he trampled upon hundreds of people suffered. During this time he placed himself as a false god, Ra, and became a pseudo-god to the early Egyptian people, pulling the strings, and acting of his own accord with very little thought to the people he was manipulating. Akhet doesn't know if his former self was the real Ra, but none the less just knowing these facts has left a bad taste in his mouth. During his early life, Akhet mostly spent his time repenting. Traveling the desert and fighting whatever creature's passed his way while also lending a hand to those in need, all the while refusing any compensation for his deeds. He believed, for most of his early life, that his sole purpose was to heal the wounds that his past life had left behind, and undo the damage that his former self had left behind in his wake.
