June 2020 Character Development Burst

This is a writer based mission. And, in this mission, we will be focused on the task of character development. Effectively, this is going to be a task where you sign up for the mission and execute on trying to craft threads with the narrative purpose of developing each of your characters. As character development is when flesh out your character's strengths, flaws, weaknesses and showcase the person they are and how they change based on different circumstances, character interactions, and plot.

All we are asking you to do is a follow-up on the writer's workshop where these ideas were discussed and think of meaningful ways in your threads to develop your character and the other person's character you are role-playing with.

Please make sure you create a tracker thread to keep track of all your post and give them to me at the end of the challenge. I almost want you to summarize and pitch me some of the development they've pushed for others on the site. As I'll be reviewing these carefully.

Once you sign up, you'll have four weeks to execute on that and show just how you can develop your character over a month.

✘ Prize Request - The person who has the highest impact will be able to select their own prize, sit down with me and discuss what they want and what will help their character grow. I will select this person myself since I'll be observing who is inspiring character development in others. (Note: I'm not eligible for this prize since it is MY challenge. However, I still want to participate for the pure sport of it.)

✘ Template - The person with the highest post may also receive a graphic GIF template from me. This will be done at my digression and I will follow-up with the person after this mission is closed on the 6th of July.

✘ Upgrades - For this burst, we're implementing a new point buy system for rewards. This is to help lower tiers, while also increasing the difficulty to obtain high tiers.

For every roleplay post you receive one point, and for every four posts you get an extra point.

If you finish an application, it is approved, and you complete a thread; you can gain the following points based off it's overall Hazard Rating: five for F-D, ten for C-A, and fifteen for S.

The rewards one can purchase is as follows:

5-Tier: 5 Points
4-Tier: 10 Points
3-Tier: 15 Points
2-Tier: 30 Points
1-Tier: 50 Points

Beginner: 5 Points
Adept: 10 Points
Advanced: 25 Points
Elite: 50 Points

(I.e. Moving to 2-2 to 2-1 would be 30 points. Moving from 2-1 to 1-5 would be 50.)

HOW DO WE CLAIM OUR PRIZES?
√ That's fairly simple. All you have to do is gather up your post that were made during your duration of time allotted during the challenge and a staff member will overview them and then approve you for the prizes.

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DON'T POST?
√ If you do not post in this thread, you will not receive the prizes associated with the event. As this is the only place that upgrades from the event are allowed.
