Wha... what is this feeling? I didn't feel her activate anything, no spike in spiritual pressure, and I still feel stuck to the very ground. What the hell is happening? He thought while looking around, his golden eyes scanning Ulv to she what she had done to make him so stuck in place, "I can break this, don't think you got me ywt!" He said with a laugh before he tried to lift his arm and felt a lightning bolt of pain zigzag throughout his chest from his ribs. His attempt at freeing himself was very short lived, "On second thought it's not half bad sitting here. Maybe I over did it a bit today." he said admitting she had him.
"I don't want to stop though Ulv, what you've shown me could be useful in developing my Celestial Crane Style. I agree I can't keep going anymore now but when I heal if you have time I would like to keep training with you, I feel like I am on to something with this and with you showing me my mistakes. It's weird, no one usually talks to me the way you have and I know I should feel annoyed but I don't know I think you're alright actually." He blurted out, her stern attitude was something he hadn't really experienced before and no one he knew ever really told him what to do but oddly he liked it, it felt nice to have someone be stern and almost seem like they cared if he hurt himself too much.
"Oh, in my bag there I packed some food to eat. Some jasmine rice and pork belly, I have enough to share if you're hungry. I know I could eat." He said, trying to smile while hiding the pain in his sides.

ULV AUBER| WHITE MASK BUDDHA
Ulv merely smirked at his claims he could escape. It was definitely not impossible, no. But, given the situation, his state of being and general mental strength, it'd certainly come under a great effort to do so. Eventually, he realised the situation and gave up, accepting the idea. As a response, the pressure vanished. Though, for a briefest of moments - so fast he couldn't see, but only feel - there was a flash of something. Ulv as a muscular redhead was no longer there, and instead there was a.....being of infinite size and terrifying beauty. A ferocity to rend the heavens and a power to rip the stars down to the earth. The idea of ever winning at anything against the woman was leached from his mind as the thing in front of him was a concept that ascended contestation.
And with all that whirling around his head, Ulv got the food out of his bag and handed it to him.
"I eat a lot more than that, so you have at it" she told him, taking a seat and with a focusing breath, spawning a picnic blanket beneath them. Warm, amber-coloured and relaxing to lie on, it was the perfect thing to snack on.
"As for your training, it's obvious you'll carry on later. You do not eat a sandwich in one bite, that way leads choking and looking like a fool. But, the fact that there is a space between the bites does not mean you only ever bite once and throw the rest away" Ulv gave one of her anologies to help the situation, and then leaned back on the blanket.
"As for the whole talking thing, it's how a mother talks to her children. So long as you are easy on the insults and keep it relevant, it appeals to the base mentality of people. They realise the strict and annoying tone but still can't raise against it. Works well for teaching stubborn people"

He took his food from her with a small thank you and watched as she manifested a picnic blanket out of thin air for them to sit on. Wasting no time he took a seat opposite her and pulled his fork out form his pack. Once done he said a small prayer over his food and began eating while she spoke, she had a fun quirk of using analogies often instead of being straight forward but he found it to be enjoyable and did help to get her point across, his training wasn't a sprint, it was a marathon that he would have to dig in for and understand that he would need to allow himself moments of rest or he would hurt himself more than produce the desired results.
When she spoke of how her tone was that of how a mother would talk to her children he lowered his gaze while a dark pit gripped his stomach, it had been decades since his human life and the memories of his abusive mother hadn't faded. He knew mothers were supposed to be warm and loving, he knew how they were supposed to act but he had never encountered it and when Ulv explained it to him he almost felt guilty for enjoying the brief moment of having someone chastise him like that. As quickly as the change in his being had appeared though it was gone, with a small cough he smiled and continued eating, just because he hadn't had a good family situation as a child was no reason to be sad, his life had gone on for many years and he had many good memories to out weigh the small old ones.
"Well it did the trick for me, didn't want to argue back or butt heads with you once. " He said before looking at the clouds and taking in the breeze of the warm air on his face, "Thank you for your help today."

ULV AUBER| WHITE MASK BUDDHA
Ulv looked over, glittering eyes of golden power staring deep into him and laying bare every secret he ever thought he had. Her look made it clear that she knew exactly what Carter was feeling, but was content to just leave it as a look rather than dragging it out of him and doing anything with it.
"Mmm, as much as I love a good fight, beating up a cripple has no entertainment and tarnishes my reputation. And a girl has to look after her reputation, it's the difference between being invited to swanky dinners and being stabbed in the occipital lobe" Ulv cracked a grin and took some of the food, gently snacking on it.
"And you're welcome, it's what I do. I just like helping people. Anyone who asks, anyone who needs it"

With a slight chuckle from her joke about a girls reputation Carter finished his food and placed his bowl back in his back with a slight inhale at the sharp pain in his sides, Going to feel that tomorrow. he thought while gathering his discarded jacket and pack, "On the topic of beating a cripple I think I need to call this a day and get home to Rest Ulv, I apologize for cutting this short but I'm sure you have your oops to hunt down and I have some ribs to get on the mend. I'll be sure to meditate and keep training on what you taught me today so I can hit ya back with it next time we see one another. Might even add my own twists too it, who knows." He jested while pulling the pack across his shoulders and picking his zanpakuto up.
"Well Ulv, again thank you. I'm sure I'll see you soon." He said with a stiff and painful bow before turning away and walking down the plains toward home.
