On The Prowl (Honey/Ulv)

Smooth footsteps would walk the Seireitei's building halls, unbeknownst to many passersby who simply ignored their antics, a hunter was on the move. Alert eyes looked left and right, a nose soon catching the scent of a familiar entity. Excitement would make the hunter's heart pound, however such excitement would not cease it's careful movement. The time to be excited was when the prey was caught, not a moment before.

Claws gently drummed the wooden floor as a shape soon stopped, the image of a woman performing chores glinting against the predator's eyes, their head low, haunches raised, as they stalked...

Tail low, eyes focused, breath steady, as if moving to pounce an unassuming deer, and with that suddenly cease in movement...

Lunge! Honey would pop from the shadows suddenly, hands outstretched. Even if her behaviors were that of a stalking predator, any good look or sense at her would show she was obviously being playful, more in a wolf way than human, as she sought to pin the Ulv-woman down.

What greatly impressed Honey was, not only did this Ulv woman manage to stop her so easily, she didn't even flinch or freak out! Honey had hit her palm head-first, dropping down and flipping backward, tail wildly flicking left and right as there was some fire in her eyes, the wolf woman hopping left and right excitedly, even if her face didn't quite read as excited. She wasn't smiling or grinning, merely huffing like any canid would.

"Frrite! Frrite!"

While her voice had that rolling growl of an overly eager canine, it was clear enough that she meant to say 'Fight'. She didn't care how her voice sounded, merely looking at this woman got her blood pumping. She wanted to learn a bit more about just exactly how strong she was firsthand. And, from the looks of the young hybrid, she wasn't interested in leaving until Ulv gave her what she wanted.

Her tail wagging only became waggier when Ulv accepted to fighting, pants coming out faster as she suddenly reared up on her back legs. 'Ready' was always now to Honey, especially when a fight was to be done. Despite her normally calm and controlled demeanor, hunting and fights always spoke to some primal part in her brain and absolutely got her adrenaline going. She would lunge for the woman headfirst once more, but rather than do the same type of strike, her body would move and twist to produce a foot, as if the woman wished to kick her rather than headbutt her, however her other foot was reared back as well, but Honey ensured that the outstretched foot was the most prominent one as she went for Ulv.

Despite appearances, Honey very much wasn't stupid. She had wanted the woman to grab her foot, as she had gone to force her second leg to strike the woman in the belly, however she did not fully account for that open window, or for the woman to attempt to throw her outside of it. And outside of it she indeed went! However, when Ulv was pushing the window closed, a set of clawed fingers gently caught the window before it went shut, seemingly out of nowhere.

Suddenly thrusting the window back open, Honey appeared from seemingly beneath the windowsill, swinging in leg first to crash atop of Ulv's shoulders and put her head into a hold with her legs. However, with her reentry, there was no quirky comments, no smirk, nothing, just a very excited hybrid.

Honey visibly flinched and gritted her teeth when she felt the reverberating strain on her muscles, but the young hybrid stuck to her guns, trying to maintain her position on Ulv's shoulders, however after enough groaning and grunting, she had no choice but to slip to the floor, panting loudly as she hit it with a thud, but very much thought that Ulv would just pick up her limp body and toss her out the window again since she was in a mostly immobile position to do so, she raised a hand in a way to communicate for her to stop, as her other hand was put into her hair as if searching for something.

She'd pull out a notepad with a pen, awkwardly using two fingers to flip through the pages until she got to the desired page, shuffling to show and point at the intended sentence for the woman above her. She had prewritten her response, knowing that the possibility of the Ulv woman besting her was entirely there, and thus she wished to at least state her intentions,

"My name is Honey Morimoto, I sought to fight you because of your actions during my training with my Captain and squadmates. You appeared to be very strong, and I wanted to see that for myself. I wish to learn from you, as you have strength, and strength comes wisdom and the ability to protect."

Honey only nodded slowly as she showed the note, as if to agree with what it says and that she meant it, even if her muscles felt like they weighted a bunch.
