Solhammond wasn’t the type of guy who saw himself as being a public service type of guy. But he knew that he needed to get strong, if he wanted to prove himself to the Shihouin. The mother of his child was currently to future head to their clan, and he had already totally screwed up. Whatever self doubts he possessed he needed to push down, push down so far they didn’t stop him anymore. So he resolved himself to get better, and he needed Masami to do that.

“Masami, I appreciate everything you’ve done. But is there anything else you could teach me?”

The man would ask this point blank, running a hand through his hair. They where currently way out in the fields of Africa, a place to train privately. He wasn’t sure what else he could do to push him past that last barrier of strength needed, but if things turned out alright.. maybe he could be a hero.

“I’m thinking of applying for a hero license, honestly looks like a good source of income ya’ know?”

"Playing hero brings a paycheck. It's that or join the army at this point, all I really got is my fighting skills, Masami."

The man would reply with some level of fustration, running a hand through his hair. He'd sigh offering a shrug once she spoke about being a shinigami. He was most certainly not one, and frankly he didn't seem to think that was possible. "And hey c'mon I can take a low life on!" He'd reply with some chagrin she doubted his skill so much, before rubbing his neck dropping his hand.

"I don't know, just trying to figure shit out before the kid gets here. I mean my girls a princess, how the hell does a guy live up to that!" He'd ask before waving his hand dismissively, remaining silent for a moment. "Becoming a shinigami.. I'm not dead so that's off the table too."

"What- No. Don't you lose your memories and shit? I appreciate the thought but I like being alive, Masami."

He'd chuckle having grown well accepting of her strange humor, although some part of him kinda knew she might do that if he asked. She was a wild card like that. But he enjoyed her, her presence much likes his girl's brought a level of joy to his otherwise bleak world. So with that though he'd reach on his back before dropping his backpack to the ground, within it his training gear.

"In that case, then we'll do it the old fashion way. You've taught me technique, but it's time I actually get stronger. It's time for some good old fashion conditioning, so.. let's get to it."

Wait what was she-

Solhommand Palliser felt an immediately intense pain his chest than nothing, his hand coming to grab at his solar plexus. He would've fall down to his knees, but found himself standing up and the pain immediately gone. He'd look around for a moment then down to see.. himself. Wait she didn't actually... wait... wait she fucking did!

"Masami what the FUCK!"

The man would shout lifting his arms into the air as he stepped to her before gesturing to his dead body with two hands. His eyes literally bloodshot as his powers activated, crimson eyes staring at her with a faint glow. "You fucking killed me! I didn't tell you to turn me into a shinigami- What the fuck am I going to tell Chidori... WHAT THE FUCK AM I GOING TO TELL MY MOM DUDE!"

The man would look at the body shocked for a moment.

"We have to fucking bury my body."

Solhammond would catch the sword hap-hazardly nearly dropping it as he stared at the blade with his own blood on it. That was so surreal as he stared at it before processing literally what she said. His crimson eyes flicking towards her mouthing again 'What the fuck.' Before just holding it dumbly in his hands. He had no idea what to say to what she had just said.

"Masami. You killed me. Ya' know I used to a little of a crush on you before I got with Chidori, even thought you was cute. But you just fucking off'd in my living room. Literally."

The man would hold the blade tightly for a moment, closing his eyes before pinching his nose. He had no idea what to even say as he turned around, letting out the most done sigh. Before finally turning around to look at her.

"I can't go back into my body, we have to get rid of it. You fucking- never do this again. Ever. Holy fuck you killed me. What the fuck is a Gigai, how do I get one!?"
