Zampakuto: Not necessarily something I'm upgrading rather trying to give so she isn't useless anymore. It's the main factor in her power boost, so I'll link details about it. link

» Why: The answer is simple; She's been developed mentally (not completely but it's getting there), however her actual physical power has not been touched. Giving her a sealed zampakuto is a great way to build up her power as well as allow her to defend herself from hollows and enemies.

» Extra: Just trying to make sure she doesn't become absolutely non-existent.
