Takehiko sent a message to Shin, letting him know where to meet. This hill was where they once performed executions on criminals. His Aunt Rukia brought here and his uncle thought it a fine place for a home. A place watching over the Seireitei from above. Prepared to act on a moment's notice or incentive. That was once the Unabara family. One a noble family that fell from grace because one man decided to burn his legacy. Yet he didn't hold anything towards his uncle now. No hatred or questions or why since they mattered little. It was all a transparent pointless conversation. Everything was pointless in the end when it came down to it. It wasn't like he could just recover bits from here. He'd been here before this occasion as well. It was a place excellent for training and open. It's spaces and realities far removed from things. Takehiko's power had weakened and he knew it himself. He'd been attending the academy now. Brushing up and developing his skills further. His zanjutsu had improved so too did it over his zanpakuto.
If only be a fraction of the amount he desired. He came here to train to recapture something lost to him. An innocence was perhaps taken by the Flame of Resolve.
His flames didn't flicker that brightly before that. But now they didn't burn or ignite even a little within him. No, his world was a gray and colorless thing. Nothing held meaning to him, not getting to the top rank in his studies. Nothing matters or felt important. He tried to care about things to connect to them. But now he'd come away feeling a bit emptier than before. His eyes glanced down at his hand and his zanpakuto. Training would begin soon and so would growth and development. He no longer had Akuma, but what did it matter? He'd lost something that was something. He didn't know how to describe it if Akuma was important or not. He just didn't know or care enough to try anymore. Sullen maybe but his soul seemed a bit more empty now. The loss of Akuma was a different transition for the Kuchiki.

And the followup meeting was set into motion. As Shin arrived, a bunch of things immediately peaked into his mind. He knew Takki wasn't great at controlling his spiritual pressure so, when he arrived and didn't even feel a tiny bit of the Hollow pressure from before, he raised an eyebrow at this as he stood in front of him, bemused by the situation. "Well now, it seems you've gone and returned in worse shape than before. I've seen rock bottom and you're pretty close to it, aren't you? No matter. First things first: Did you magically learn to suppress your spiritual pressure or did you find a magical way to render a Hollow out of yourself? Rhetorical." Shin stated with a shrug as he shook his head. He was infinitely curious to how he did this but, it sadly had to wait. This kid was now in a worse place than before but had one thing to go from now: Less to focus on.
"Well, you need to experience the more direct form of learning to control your abilities. My current estimation is that, either you, your zanpakutou, or both don't trust each others abilities for some reason or another. That's what caused you to rip yourself apart before. I hate to make you the third wheel in this as it's an annoying way to hold a conversation but, for the time being the only answers I want to hear are from Chi. She will understand what I'm saying a lot better than you will, after all." Shin stated in a nonchalant matter. Doing the same training when this kid regressed in power would be a death sentence. He needed to take advantage of this kid's unique Zanpakutou in order to help him get in the right direction. "Alright, on a scale of one to ten with ten being the best, how would you rate Takki's ability to control the little bit of power you have given him? How often does he try to communicate with you? Why do you suspect that here is a lack of trust within you two? And last but certainly not least, what would you do if I told you we could remedy all that simply by inverting who is control of what until you are both on the same page?" Shin stated, using Takki as a direct medium towards Chi. Shin, before going any further, needed to gather this important information.

His eyes had shifted colors and it was true. Most of his energy had been sapped in that. His voice came out a monotone. Not in its traditional way or sense. His eyes looked over Shin carefully. "Yeah, Ulv burned him out of me." It was a simple and matter of fact sentence. Takehiko couldn't contain him and the choice was given. Burn him or become something else. Betray his uncle's faith and trust and at the time. He cared enough to make that choice. As Shin spoke a voice began forming. A distaste upon her lips as she looked at him. Being called that inferior wretched name. Oh, that made her blood boil so to speak. "Tell this fool, to call me right. Chi no Miru is an insult to us." Her voice held disdain as she hated that name. Takehiko's mistaken name had pissed her off. "She says, her name is Mizugameza no Jijitsu and Chi no Miru is an insult. " She spoke with fire he spoke without such things. As he listened to his question. Inward she walked around him slowly. Her digits softly running along his frame.
"Raw..unrefined yet..Four for his first question. Our dialogue has only just begun, so I suspect little. As for trust, that's simply no person drinks poison and forgets foolish man. They remember who poisoned them, trust is something gained. Give me time to..work it out of his little..self. I would be skeptical of any solution..until I've seen it personally." Takehiko had to narrate this entire thing. Showing a sign of a four just how untapped her power was. But Takehiko spoke now. "She said trust isn't expected when a poisoner is in your hand. When they push venom in do you trust them? She said she's going to work on requiring it. And she said skeptically until it's seen." His monotone didn't expose the emotion she showed. But he did his part and made sure of that much. It was a different sort of trial. But one he didn't mind adapting too. Takehiko's power was cut if only some by it.
But perhaps this wasn't going to end as smoothly as last time. Wait didn't last time end poorly? He tried to remember and think about it. How did he feel standing at this place? Did he care about anything aside from the training? No in his soul he felt it was a tedious and meaningless thing. Only the training mattered now, everything else was unimportant.

So that was her new name. Or actual name. Interesting, Shin decided to just put that info in his brain for the moment as something more pressing occurred. To explain something that was complex to accomplish without complete understanding from all parties would be a bit of a windhall. With this in mind, he pulled out a few spicy candies and popped them in his mouth. "Well, there is a simple explanation and a long explanation. The simple explanation is you use each other as resistance. As for the specifics and thorough explanation, well, here it is." Shin said as he observed him for a moment and then sighed. "The primary reason you two do not trust each other or rely on each other is because of a massive disparity between your power and control and his power and control. My guess is, anytime he uses your abilities, he drains himself dry or rips all his blood vessels to oblivion. There are two reasons this is happening. The first is simple: Baka-san over here is both too weak in pure spiritual pressure and has too little control over it to handle it without it causing overflow. The other issue however, is the bare minimum that you are able to administer too him, is not finely tuned enough to compensate for his gross lack of ability. The long way to do this is to just go at it everyday. This, is a much quicker but much more intense and severe method. Severe in that, if mistakes or slacking off happens, he'll most likely die. So going forward, he needs to know this is a full commitment once he's made the decision."
Shin painted out this first bit of information towards the two of them with a clear and direct explanation. They would need to understand this bit of information before even processing the specifics. That and, Shin assumed that at least one of them was an idiot so he needed to make the information clear to them both on equal terms. "Alright, as I mentioned before, you act as resistance towards each other. To be specific, Mezugameza-san will be acting as a universal, constant resistance by constantly using her abilities to put a weighted force into Baka-san's entire circulatory network. And the only way that pressure will ease, is if he constantly applies an equal or greater spiritual pressure through his entire body. This type of training in that essence, is where the full commitment comes into play. If you slack off Baka-san, Mezugameza can inadvertently destroy you. And to be specific, you will most likely be unable to do basic functions once she starts and will only regain them upon matching the resistance. Moving, eating, breathing, blinking, keeping your own heart beating will cease any moment you stop, let alone complex actions or combat. You will do this every moment you are awake and conscious. Over time, it will get easier. Then, she will increase resistance. You both should discuss this before making a decision." Shin gave out the important information. Now it was up to them what happened next.

So they weren't matching one another in terms of output. Takehiko inhaled a breath preparing himself. He knew the answer was obvious to just do it. Life-threatening and on the line was all he knew. She within him gave a smile observing the willingness. To sacrifice and fight his way through it all. Pain and agony were acceptable prices to pay for growth. He'd sacrifice anything for the Kuchiki name and house. Takehiko had a resolve that few others could match. He constantly fought and clawed his way upwards from the void. He'd become a Vice-Captain and earned many distinguishing marks of services. He'd worked harder then most people would imagine. She applied her resistance to him now, the first sensation he noticed. Was his breathing as he released his spiritual pressure. Still too weak to match her as he began to feel it. A pain encroaching throughout his body around each muscle. It ached like something he'd not experienced before. His lungs didn't fill with air as he began focusing more.
Spiritual pressure going up to match her enough to allow breathing. It was both heavy and somehow the hardest breath he took. It was so strange a sensation to feel her pressure him more. Takehiko's mouth had liquid dripping from it as he wiped it away. His chest rising and falling quickly as he found the sweet spot. Matching her pressure to allow functions through his body. Slowly he began to rise back up from the ground. It was a strange feeling in his blood and the vessels inside of him. Takehiko couldn't refer to it as much else outside of that. Closing and opening his hands he tried to get a feel. It was a different sensation just like her powers. She seemed pleased thus far with the progress. So he didn't die at stage one and a half. That was a good sign thus far in his growth. But he couldn't rest on his laurels as Captain Shin was unlikely to allow that. It was something that he needed to contain himself for. Takehiko tried to get a feeling for his body now. The movements inside his muscles felt tight.
His body was going to need some work going forward. But he had a hunch that Shin wouldn't stop here. It was a dangerous training for any moment he let up. He could feel that familiar danger encroaching on him. The loss of air and even life from his body. It was something that seemed to him very important. By applying this she was starving his body. But only by matching her he was opening the way for functions. But the problem was the difficulty that went into this field. Takehiko's eyes felt heavy from doing this. But a constant matching of the pressure was needed. She seemed to be enjoying herself very much for this process. That was good for her, but for him, it was like a noose. Tightening around his neck from her powers. He had a lot to learn about his zanpakuto and her powers within. That was a fact he began to realize more and more keenly.

As Shin gave the instructions, he paid intention to his new trainee's body movements as he underwent the specific training. He was fairly stiff, slow at adjusting and not used to full body reiryoku control. That, in itself, was it's own problem. However, the real issue he was noticing was that Takehiko was shooting for maintaining the minimum to sustain vs actually trying to push out of it to the needed levels to be sustainable. With that in mind, Shin sighed to himself. "Well, you didn't die, so that's a plus. But, there is one inherent problem with you doing this the way you're doing it now." Shin said as suddenly, his palm would swiftly move forward to strike Takehiko in the chest. It had no real force to it and was more of a shove than anything else. He'd get the wind knocked out of him upon it's impact at best. That wasn't the point Shin was trying to make however.
"You are wasting my time and yours if you think just constantly shooting for the bare minimum is going to accomplish anything, Baka-san. I don't know who it was that drilled it into your thick skull that you have to constantly repress and only use your abilities at a bare minimum, but they are complete dumbasses. The only individuals who are allowed to exert suppressed, bare minimum power according to their leisure and judgment, are those that are able to control it at any level. So, how does one learn to control power? By memory. You can't learn what control feels like without being out of control first." Shin said in a rather aggravated manner as he then went to the ground and picked up a large variety of rocks. Some were pebbles, some were sizable rocks about the size of his fist. He then threw them so they scattered all across the area they were in. "First rule of combat: Motion. You can't fight if you can't move with precision. You see these rocks I threw? You are to, only using Shunpo, continuously move and land on them without sliding or kicking them away. As well, you are to only land on them and not the ground they reside on or push them into the ground. I will be periodically adding them, removing them, or changing their locations in no real predictable pattern. You are to do this while still undergoing the current restrictions you are under. Each time you fail, you will earn one free wack that I can cash in anytime, anyplace. I will be keeping tab. Start when you're ready." Shin would then grab a few more pebbles and would proceed as he said he would as Takehiko would undergo this training.

His eyes bugged out of his skull as he was struck. Takehiko felt a sharp pain shoot through his body. It felt like his body had been hit by a truck. His eyes watered for a moment. As he coughed violently into his hand now. Before rising back up his lungs exhaling heavily. He felt that familiar feeling of resistance run through his body. This training promised to be harder than anything. It was already difficult to move so he rubbed at his chest. Observing the stones thrown as he felt some relief. Hoho was a skill the Kuchiki had experience in. His frame shifted as he collected himself. He was only to move using Hoho. Anytime he fell or tripped was a free shot. He didn't know how many of those he could take. He was rather gifted at absorbing punishment. But it didn't mean he could walk through fire. Closing his eyes for a moment as he understood the desire. His muscles tensed and he felt a weight as he went to step. It felt like his body was weighed down by boulders. Movement felt so difficult at this moment.
Red reiatsu began engulfing him as he raised his output. This made it easier as he finally stepped. His frame landing on one of the rocks, feeling an edge dig into his foot. He gritted his teeth through the pain now. Moving again to the next stone. Though not extremely fast in his movement. He was precise despite the pain to his heels. Takehiko didn't mind the training anything to help him. Something to make the Kuchiki make his uncle proud. That was his goal in all of this was to develop. He needed to grow himself into a fine nephew for Rukia and Byakuya. So he would suck it up and endure pain. Injuries would mend over time and training like this helped. It allowed for a growth he didn't previously have. His powers allowed him some room for growth. As his zanpakuto remained silent at the moment. She didn't push him just yet. But he could sense her wondering and thinking. She had ideas for him to improve with. That was tremendously helpful in any regard. As he continued stepping between those stones.
Prepared for a quick step just in case. He got the sense if he controlled the blood around his stepping foot. He could perform an extremely fast step. Done within seconds of another. Allowing him to perform something akin to a rapid stepping motion. But he had to grow used to the pain and weight in his memory. He needed to adjust himself to this. To feel the flow of his circulation through his body. Takehiko had only begun to notice it as he stepped. Something beneath it that could be used without releasing. His zanpakuto's passive powers were over enhancement. So why couldn't he enhance himself instead of just a kido technique? Couldn't he divulge further into his zanpakuto's prowess? He began to understand more as he kept moving. His clothing becoming drenched in sweat and sticky liquids. His azure eyes looked up towards the next rock prepared to keep this up.

Finally, he was getting the idea of at least the basics of what was expected. He was continuously moving, albeit slowly but, speed would come in time. That wasn't what was important right now as he observed the way he moved. He could now understand the major issue in his footwork: It was too stiff and too linear. And it didn't encompass utilizing the full capacity of his movements. As Shin learned this, he chuckled as he thought of something. "Alright, you have demonstrated a basic understanding. But now this is the part where you are going to probably start internally screaming. Continue doing this training but, each time you take a step, you must land on a different foot, as well as a new part of your foot, until every bit of surface area has made contact, then repeat. Toes, heel, soul, arch. Don't miss a single one, if you do before starting again or you repeat yourself, it counts as ten whacks per. This, however, isn't the next step to your training, just brushing up on your flaws. This..."
Shin said as he would momentarily release the full force of his reiatsu, move in an instant to land behind Takehiko and as soon as he moved, his reiatsu signature would vanish as the moment he moved, he'd fully suppress it. Demonstrating the action before explaining it. "...this is the next step. Gross body reiryoku control. Every time you move, you must exert your maximum possible reiryoku output and, the moment you move, you must suppress this output to it's absolute minimum. This, is one stage of three in the baby steps you'll need to take to not be completely terrible at using your own abilities. The second stage, is the inverse." Shin would say as shortly enough, he'd move directly in front of Takehiko with his suppressed reiatsu however, the moment he appeared, he exerted the full spiritual pressure of his reiatsu. He wouldn't be surprised if it threw him on his ass as he chuckled. "Stay suppressed, move and the exact moment you land, exert maximum reiatsu then suppress again upon moving. These, are stages one and two of this...let's call it beginners training regimen. You are to do the first motions with any movement on your left foot, and the latter with any movement on your right foot." Shin then yawned as he took a step back to observe the next stages of this kids development. This wasn't even the difficult part so he'd hope the kid wouldn't be a complete idiot. But he was beginning to see that he was capable to some degree.

He paused now taking a moment to consider his next step. So it had to be with his left foot. Exert his full spiritual pressure then bring it down to the lowest end. Upon arriving on his right foot. But he also needed to alternate the position he landed with his foot on. Takehiko inhaled now descending the focus on enhancing his physical capabilities. This required everything he had as the man suddenly appeared behind him. Causing the Kuchiki's body to tremble and then appearing in front of him. The burst of reiatsu was sudden and impactful. His body felt the tension go through it quickly. He began to stumble back but caught himself. This was only done by slight luck as his foot hooked a piece of the rock. So he thought about the portion for a moment. Different parts of his feet he needed to land on. That was the goal for him going forward. Left foot and max power was the order given to him. So exerting every last ounce of power in his body. He felt it flow through him as he landed upon the next step. Stepping using it with the top half of his left foot hitting.
His power suddenly submerged itself back to its limits. Sweat dripping down his brow as he focused carefully. His right foot was the next one to go. He had to step on that one and land on a rock. He wasn't doing it quickly or fluidly like Shin. It took Takehiko a few moments. As he got comfortable doing it, releasing his power to its maximum yet again. Causing a red glow to form around his body. Stepping off his right foot he landed flat-footed this time. He could feel the drain drowning him. It felt like his body was in an ocean. As his power went back down to the bare minimum again. This training was vicious and required him to learn quickly. Takehiko glanced down for a moment as he was sweating buckets. His shoulders rising and falling showing how ill-trained he was at this. He believed himself to be considered gifted in Hoho. But this proved the world was vast and long in how far it had to go. Takehiko's eyes looked up now.
As he wiped his brow of sweat flicking it off to the side. The left foot this time was the next step as he moved again. Exerting his full reiyoku possible before bringing it back down. Landing on his heel slightly, leaving him enough balance to the land. Finally deciding to try it in reverse he breathed in. Keeping his power down now and stepping. This felt heavy like pulling chains and as he arrived he let it out. Akin to a volcano blast coming from him. That was Takehiko's power coming out of his body now. Having landed on his forward part of his foot this time. Making sure to select different landing zones each time. He began to continue this process gaining more sweat. And a greater deal of exhaustion now as his body had lost more liquid then he'd considered possible. This was a true training exercise that challenged him. To his deepest roots and beyond as he felt his shoulders rising and falling quicker now.

He was learning. In time it wouldn't be such an extreme exertion on him but for now, it looked like he was at least finding some sort of rhythm amidst the struggle. Shin figured he probably should stay in this for a bit longer before alternating to the last leg of this bit of training. He began to observe Takehiko for a few more minutes in pure contemplation as he wondered what was missing. Then, it hit him fairly plainly. Shin grinned to himself at the thought. "We are going to sharpen your movements in this stage before advancing you to the stage of mastery of these basics. The first step to sharpening this, is for you to understand one key fallacy regarding Hoho and how it's taught." Shin would say as he'd once again vanish with a movement in Shunpo. This time, he'd appear to Takehiko's right slightly behind him in a blindspot. Shin was however, not crouched but perched on a single finger as his other hand would deftly move to grab at Takehiko's tailbone with just a finger and his thumb. This motion would followup into a quick, precise throw to the ground behind Shin.
The point Shin would be about to make would became very painfully clear in this motion as he stayed perched on his middle finger as he spoke. "Hoho is taught as a footwork only motion. And this is a deadly error. To fully understand movement and control it, every part of your body must be equally capable of making precise, swift, and powerful movements at angle angle, height, or position. So, for you to truly master motion and Hoho, you must use your entire body at all times. So, that's what you will do. Fingers, hand, elbow, knee, face, forehead, shoulder. Any part of your body that can generate motion must now strike the rocks and move off them as if they were your feet. Same restrictions as before. However, before all that, take a five minute break. Acclimate yourself to what you learned, ask me anything you wish or bring up concerns or ideas. However you wanna spend your five minutes." Shin said as he'd prefer to not break the kid so he decided to give him a breather so, he could recover some of his lost vigor. And also to not die of dehydration or something stupid like that.
