Contrition, Confession, and Satisfaction [Abalia, Hime]

Abalia quite appreciated the formality with which this woman formally introduced herself, and returned the bow that was offered to her. That was simply basic courtesy, after all.

"Kirei? A beautiful name."

Whether that was an attempt at a joke from Abalia, or simply a genuine compliment being made, none could ever say for certain. Still, she turned on her heel, beckoning for her new assistant to follow. She did not wait, simply beginning to walk under the assumption that Kirei would follow.

"It is quite a walk out of this prison. I will establish my full expectations of you as we walk. Do not move more than a meter from my side."

With the click of her boots echoing through the halls once more, Abalia began laying out the full scope of what she intended this former prisoner to do. It was rather extensive, ranging from simple assistance in paperwork to acting as her personal bodyguard, even engaging in spycraft and espionage if necessary. It was clear that, though Abalia offered her the opportunity for redemption, it would not come for free.
