Re: Into Another's Web [Ulv]

The Hollow's smirk grew more pronounced. Why was it so satisfying to find and push this woman's buttons? Regardless of the danger to herself in doing so, it was ultimately... fun. She didn't wonder why that was for too long, and decided it was easier to simply assume this past self of hers had enjoyed the same.
Now, why she desired just as much to tear the woman's throat out with her teeth, that question remained.
"Pretty and shrewd." Another chuckle, and Reina turned to indulge herself in the room. She stepped slowly and carefully, and with large, sweeping motions of her clawed fingers, removed the coverings from each piece of furniture as she passed by. Little in the front room drew as much of a reaction from her as the sign had, but she was enjoying testing Ulv's patience.
The basement was largely empty, and the soft dripping of water into even more water told the tale of a leak that hadn't been addressed in some time. Such was life on an island, she supposed.
Upstairs, however, more emotion swelled with every step she climbed. She paused, briefly, three-quarters of the way up, and placed her hand on the railing that immediately began to sizzle and hiss underneath her touch; she hardly paid it any mind. The quaint kitchen area that she emerged up into did little for her, but the open bedroom to the right gave her another pause.
She was hardly fortunate enough to uncover anything specific, but underneath the scent of dust and abandonment, she could sense more: the smells of sweat and passion, the lingering sounds of joy, and a none too subtle thump that had once come from the large speaker cabinets against the far wall.
The Hollow continued her slow wandering through the room, and casually removed the dusty coverings from what turned out to be an old record player, with one such item still sitting atop its turntable.
Reina hesitated, and bit her lip before carefully moving the arm into place, and turned the switch to supply it with power. Energetic music blasted from the towers, lead by a piano.
She couldn't bring herself to move as the sounds washed over her, at first. However, as the seconds passed, her head and shoulders found the tempo of the song, and she smiled. She practically leapt to the other side of the room, and pulled the tarps from the speakers just as the vocals came.
