THE RED-EYED SAGE
Seeing Sylvia order just a glass of milk was admittedly rather odd for Nicoletta. She had never met a german who didn't appreciate their coffee. Still, she had agreed to listen. There wasn't any point in stopping her to question her about not ordering a coffee. Instead, she sipped at her order as she listened to what Sylvia had to say. At first, it was nothing too unexpected. Confirmation that the things she had heard were correct, and then an obvious statement that they were in the process of rebuilding. So far so mundane. Nothing really jumped out at her. But after getting past the mundane confirmations of what she had heard, things started sounding a touch more interesting.
From what she had heard from her family, it had always sounded like the Wandenreich was full of only the top of the top. A bunch of elitists, as it was. So hearing that they were not only interested in gathering Quincy, but training them? To say it caught her interest was not only obvious, but rather blatant, as her attention seemed to snap back to Sylvia at that. But what really convinced Nicoletta wasn't the intended goals of the organization. No, it was that slight bit of a slip up that Sylvia made when talking about taking the place of the Gotei. She had a bit more passion in that statement than she had used in the rest of what she had said. That was a more personal goal of hers. Once she finished talking, Nicoletta purposely sat in silence, pretending to contemplate things as she slowly drained her cup. After that was done, she cleared her throat.
"Alright, let's say I believe you." She said as she slowly tucked a few wild strands of hair back behind her ear, revealing a seemingly innocent looking bangle in the process.
"What happens now?"

Nicoletta was definitely the quiet, contemplative sort, she thought when the conversation had fallen silent yet again. However, she was content to let the woman think over things, and drank her milk in the mean time.
"Well, now, I ask if you've got plans for the day, and if not, take you to the Stadt des Lichts to show you around." Sylvia grinned, and paused for a moment to let that sink in. Like the other woman and her coffee, she finished her milk and reached for a napkin to clean her mouth. "Failing that, I leave you my number, and we continue from here as you're able."
