A Full Moon in Hueco Mundo [Private/Ichijou/Cala]

As the couple would look around the normally-barren landscape of Hueco-Mundo, where nothing of interest was ever liable to catch the eye of anyone there save the occasional wandering Hollow they might come across, a small series of explosions would become visible in the distance. Though perhaps it is more accurate to say that the small clouds of dust and sand said explosions sent blooming into the air were what was truly visible. Though that would change rather quickly as a sudden increase in the spiritual energy in the area would alert the two to a singular lance of crimson red energy rocketing into the sky near where the explosions had occurred.

Meanwhile, near said explosions........

Polvoriento weaved through the flesh of the Hollow in front of Cala. An ape-like creature with a large mask and four limbs. The ancient-looking blade skewering through the Hollow's forehead before Cala stepped past it, carried their arm through with their momentum into a horizontal slash, and severed the top half of the creature's head. Cala was barely through with the cut before another Hollow, this one with the body of a mosquito, legs like a spider and a head like that of a wasp, brought back it's serrated limbs to strike the small Arrancar before Cala threw their free hand not wielding Polvoriento forward. The sleeves of their stark white Kimono billowing briefly before a tangible cloud of black dust spewed forth from within their sleeve and grasped the insectile Hollow by it's head.

Following through with the motion of their arm, which they had to push out and up in order to aim their Fade effectively at the taller creature's head, they shifted their hips under them and threw their arm holding the Fade's shape into an arc over their body. Causing the black dust to hoist the creature over their back before slamming the Hollow into the endless sand of Hueco Mundo. Leaving Cala in the shade of an arch of their own Fade.

As Cala shifted their footing to recover and raise their lavender eyes towards the last threat, an Adjuchas who had coerced the other Hollows into trying to devour Cala, that looked like a large, muscular man with a turtle shell on their back and crab claws for arms. Thankfully, Cala had done so in time to see the Adjuchas charging their next Cero and, motioning downward with their free hand, brought the Fade currently above them in an arch crashing down like a half-dome between themselves and the Adjuchas. The dust-like particles solidifying into a tangible shield as the crimson beam of energy struck the black material. Cracking it and nearly shattering it before Cala leapt up onto the top of the half-dome once the Cero was finished, a loud crack sounding through the air of Hueco Mundo as Cala's Sonido carried them high into the air.

From Kokuto and Ichijou's position, whether they had elected to simply watch where the explosions came from, or go towards the location, they would be able to see Cala's own Cero forming in the air. Mouth open, energy gathering in a twisting nexus of white and black Reiatsu, Cala then lunged their head forward, aiming directly down at the Adjuchas as them Cero lanced down toward them. A stark-white beam outlined by inky blackness against the backdrop of Hueco Mundo's infinite grey expanse. When the Cero struck down it created an explosion the size of a small house. The Adjuchas in question not surviving as it was exhausted from it's own Cero.

As Cala descended back down toward the ground, they sheathed Polvoriento in the air and motioned with their hands, the Fade they had created sweeping up into the air in the form of a slide to catch Cala and help to safely let them descend back to the ground. Kokuto and Ichijou currently going unnoticed by the small Arrancar as they scanned the corpses of the fallen Hollows.
