The Final Bastion's Defense [MADNESS CAPITAL: DEAD RISING]
Sat Oct 26, 2019 7:04 pm
One man's hand clacked against another's skull.
Crack.
The man's head jerked back, before he let out a chuckle… and threw his fist back against his assailant.
Crack.
Another mad laugh. This time, from the one whose arm was outstretched, his head knocked back.
This village on the outer area of Beijing had been long infected by Madness. The people here no longer had any idea what was going around them; they were simply losing their minds, all together. There were no children crying, no dogs barking. Simply insanity.
That insanity spread was reflected in how they did not react whatsoever to the legions of corpses that walked within a foot of them.
The dead bodies seemed to not mind them at all. Worms crawled through their skulls as they shambled, the purple miasma flowing around their decript forms. Old, young, and everything in between… some who were simply torsos, and others who were missing limbs. All of them shambled through the village, having finally joined together into an observable mass. They shambled into buildings, cackling and bouncing off of them, streaming around them as they went. They were beginning to approach one of the highways into the city's center; if they managed to reach it, it would not be long before they spread throughout the interior of the city.
Who would stop their march? The buildings around them would make adequate hiding places; indeed, one of the last bastions of sanity in this place was a small medical camp where those who had managed to hold grip on their sanity were doing everything they could to hold on.
The medical community who had managed to hold on their had managed to use a spell to put all of their members into a comatose state; and the last remaining Shinigami among them had left a chilling message on the front of its building.
Even now, a portion of the zombies were crashing against the lowest floor. If one looked from space, they would see a single Shinigami's body collapsed against the roof, blood dripping from his throat.
He had chosen to leave this world rather than go mad and attack those who had resisted within.
Crash. CRASH. CRASH!
The doors began to give way. It was mere moments before they would break; the pressure on the outside had finally become too great for this bastion for those who resisted the effects of this dark miasma….
The zombies at this location together represent a Tier 2-1 threat, as explained in HERE.
They are about to crack the barrier against the biggest gathering of resisters against the Madness, and many within this location are on the border of life and death. All within are comatose; a large sign calling for help, and the drained corpse of the one who left the message, make it stand out among the other buildings. In addition, the zombies seem particularly interested in it; a large number of them are flooding the street outside of it, and repeatedly smashing against the walls and door, which is on the verge of giving way.
Will they be saved, or damned?
Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

The Wandering Genin
Yoriko Morri
Approaching the outer levels of China where a group of people i a small village where in need of help she was the right person for the job, a few minutes of flash stepping and she arrived, a barrier was protecting it and she entered it with no issues. Landing on top the medical center she saw the corpse of a Shinigami, it’s body just hanging, examining it further she noticed his own throat was filed with blood perhaps it was too much for him. Regardless center spelled out the word “HELP” in blood it looked fairly knew though it was hard to tell from this distance, immediately she could see the horde burst through the
The remaining resistance fighters and survivors who were able to make it towards the barrier and hold them off we’re clearly weakening, ammunition was running low, some people losing morale and others scared out of their minds.
Until a soldier ran towards the young Shinigami, his breathing was ragged. ”Thank god, some assistance. Look, barrier is about to collapse at any moment, we’re trying our best to hold them off but their numbers are too great, we need your help.
She just gave a simple not as she approached near the barrier noticing quickly that the infected’s smell becoming even more unbearable. They had deformed bodies, and limbs sticking out at odd angles. Their bloodshot eyes darted over the land, looking for food. Reaching arms, flesh peeling, in short, they were terrifyingly grotesque. Groans and moans came from their open mouths, wanting human meat.
Some of them had a sloppy gait as they approached slowly. Their jaws dislocated showing their torn tongues and blood stained teeth. They moaned as they smelt the blood in the air and ate those who fought pinned on the ground. Skin peeled away from their bones and organs, showing their black hearts. Although they did not beat, she could see that organs were torn, how their blood had turn in to a thick turbid brown and how their stomach slowly digested the flesh that was there own.
Yoriko didn’t waste any time as she immediately gathered earth from beneath her creating a small wave of rock and other debris at the infected, targeting each part of their body from chest, legs, arms and others. She didn’t want to keep more from coming so she pressed her left foot onto the ground hard causing disks to appear around her body firing off each or into the air sending a hail of sharpened fragments down.

Lightning and a crack of thunder filled the sky, followed moments later by a single arrow that passed through the wall without doing any harm. Over the corpse of a slain shinigami. Inches from the face of a familiar woman. Finally, it found purchase within the skull of a shambling foe, which was rent from its shoulders by the force of the missile. However, the corpse did not stop moving towards the door, even after losing its head.
"Mist!" Sylvia cursed aloud, and lowered her longbow to recollect her thoughts. Behind her, the glowing zeichen upon the ground vanished; its power spent to transport her and other quincy from the Stadt des Lichts.
"Removing zee head does nothing. Be careful, und keep vur distance." They'd had little intel to begin with, but knowing what would and would not kill their foe would be an excellent start. So, on a path of reishi, she glide swiftly through the air towards the building. Her himmelsblick shone with light power as she glanced through the entirety of the village, and took count of the situation.
It wasn't good.
It took only moments for her to cover the distance from where she'd appeared to the overrun home, standing several yards high and holding her gloved hand aside. She was dressed for battle, and as a representative of the Vandenreich: a long white coat with blue accents and gold edges, closed atop her high white boots, and black stockings and skirt. Her blonde hair was tied in a braid that waved with the winds that picked up with her arrival.
"Heads down!" She warned with a commanding shout at anyone nearby, just before the distinctive buzz of mutliple seele schneider came to life. Her fingers twitched, and nigh invisible strings flung the trio of highly deadly reishi weapons through the throng of undead.

Not more god damn zombies. At least last Halloween, or the one before it, there had been zombies in Chicago; and here they are again. Zombies in Beijing! It's like the world went to shit specifically at this time and "POOF; ZAMBIES". Honestly speaking, Arianda did not have a great liking for zombies; nor for the memories that lingered in her mind about what occurred with her and Mana during this time. It wasn't a pleasant memory. Nor was the zombies attempting to murder many survivors of this intoxicating miasma. Arianda herself quite hated the feeling it left behind it; complete madness. A shiver ran up Ari's spine as she thought of the effects it could have on her. Hopefully, it would not come to that. With a deep, deep, breath; Arianda started to focus.
With Ari using her Resolve Flame, she gave herself some resistance to the miasma. However, it would not be able to protect her completely. She was particularly vulnerable compared to other people; she had lived with the essence of madness, of chaos, for long enough that she still responded to it. With the use of the Resolve Flame, Ari intended to stave off that madness long enough to find a thin area, or at least someone to help her out. For now, she used it and her own fortitude to resist the madness. Soon, Arianda set out to help thin out the horde of zombies attempting to annihilate the survivors. However, such a task was not so simple.
As Arianda finally arrived in the Miasma, perched atop a nearby wall, her cloak pulled up to her face as she attempted to use it to filter out the air; however, it was certainly intoxicating. That was the least of her worries. For now. There were zombies nearly everywhere. A groan escaped Arianda. She hated these fucking things. However, she felt others here aside from the survivors. One was likely, well, Yoriko; who was basically her niece. The others, well, all Ari could tell was those people were Quincy; here to kill the zombies as well. With a sigh, Arianda simply could only do one thing; and that was to fight her way through the things.
Luckily, Arianda was very adept at using her weapons to eliminate rather dangerous beings. With a flourish of her cloak, and the sound of her giant pair of scissors gently cutting into the wall; Arianda leaped into the fray.
It would be like the zombies had suddenly found a reason to not exist as Arianda's Scissors morphed into a scythe; the demon shooting, cutting, and completely annihilating the zombies. Together, yes, they could pose a problem, but if Arianda could move fast enough she was more than capable of destroying them in smaller droves. Eventually, Arianda had to falter; letting out a rather violent coughing fit. A fit caused by the exposure to the miasma. Her movement had caused her to breathe quickly. This left her open long enough for a Zombie to get close to her; at least before Arianda heard a cry vaguely close to "get down". With a quick jump, Arianda flew in between Reishi blades that sliced the zombies who gained ground around Ari during her moment of coughing.
Soon, Arianda landed next to whoever had shouted her word of warning; a blonde woman. A Quincy most likely. Thanks to Ari's nature, she had to take a moment to appreciate her beauty, and her outfit, before Arianda changed her scythe back into a pair of scissors; and then into chain blades. She spun the blades and then, with a movement that probably flashed much like the light on Ari's blades, she cut up the good chunk of zombies that approached them. Not to mention, Arianda had been passively absorbing the DE from the zombies around them; attempting to gain Death Energy for her own use. Indeed, it may not permanently raise her energy cap; but it at least will allow Arianda to fight harder against the approaching undead forces. Despite that, Arianda knew she would not last long without assistance. As if to prove that point, Arianda soon had to deal with another coughing fit that rendered her temporarily unable to attack.
Her body, thanks to her Resolve Flame, was attempting to purge the Miasma that had permeated her body through her lungs. However, it wasn't perfect. The pure madness was intoxicating. It hurt Ari's soul, and the demon could even hear Amphilogiai shouting at her to remain calm; but the words only helped Ari know that if she didn't get some assistance, she too would fall vulnerable to the madness of the miasma. Regardless, once that fit had passed, Arianda did her best to fend off surrounding zombies; trying to keep herself, Sylvia, and hopefully Yoriko, safe from their influence. However, the madness miasma seemed to be a bit much for her lungs once more.
Another coughing fit as Arianda's scissors reverted to normal and she shoved the tip of the weapon into the ground below; the blade slipping into the ground just enough like a knife through better. She leaned over her scissors; her breathing ragged. Not to mention, Ari hadn't noticed the change in her left eye; blood shot the iris green instead of the brilliant silver. Soon, Arianda looked towards Sylvia, the Quincy who had saved her bacon, exterminating the zombies as well, and who Arianda had just met. She gave her a sheepish grin, a little woozy thanks to the miasma that she had been trying to expel with violent coughs. Not to mention, Arianda's hair had fallen over her left eye as she looked towards Sylvia with that sheepish grin.
"Hey... Y-You got anything to help me out with this madness miasma... stuff? I know I literally just met you, but, it appears I am a bit more vulnerable to this damn stuff than I thought... Just like a scarf or something infused with Reishi will do... I just need some help; I'd much rather not be subjected to the madness... SO uh, mind lending a hand to a random woman who wants to save this city from Zombies?"
Arianda was asking for Sylvia's assistance. She knew the situation well. The area around them was flooded with zombies; and it even could get worse if anyone around them had submitted to the madness. Arianda wished to prevent her own submission to the madness at any means. If she lost herself, well, she may kill the zombies; but she also would turn her substantial powers on those around her. And that, that was something Arianda did not wish to happen above just about anything.

Sonrier. Sonrier… Sonrier… Sonrier! …Eh, who cares. Throughout the village, a peculiar figure strode. He wore a blue hoodie that concealed his skull, and basketball shorts down below. Coming out of the shorts, though, were… bones. It was no costume; from the waist down, he appeared to be a skeleton. If one were to inspect the top part of his body, they would find that to be a skeleton, as well. Sonrier. The horde did not seem to pay him any mind; as though he was less than nothing when it came to being a threat. The only question is… how are we going to get out of this mess…? The skeleton moved forward still, his jacket brushing past maimed corpses, blood splatter darkening its edges. …Well, at least the kid'll be left in good hands. In front of him now was a simpler conflict. Sonrier. He could see the incoming waves of rock, at least part of which was moving directly at him. If someone had sharp enough eyes, they could make out how he was not one of the corpses being blown back. If they looked closer, they would see him on the other side of the barrier now, his form coming to a stop next to the three women. Sonrier. He legitimately did not know what to make of these corpses. From what he had been able to tell, they had no interest in him. The ones up here, though, were a different matter. He could read the words on the building; someone had called for aid. That aid seemed to have arrived, although the Skeleton would not count himself among their numbers. Not really in the mood for talking or jokes. He decided, his footsteps continuing to carry him forward. They had provided a convenient pathway through the throngs of corpses. The demon woman, however, was a bit of a surprise. …Hey. Sonny's memory flared up, looking her up and down. He knew that one. One of Mana's assistants. Sonrier. He stopped his walking, physically turning around on top of the building to watch what the demon woman did. Chances are she'll go crazy. Is she even associated with Shadowfall any longer? Do I need to care? His sandal knocked against something on the ground; glancing down, he saw the corpse that had been left behind on this bastion's rooftop. …Crazy like him. Or like he was scared of becoming. …I can't seem to remember needing to care about her. Well, hopefully she can keep her marbles together. The Skeletal man stepped forward once again, and where he had been standing previously, nothing could now be seen of him. As if he had never been there to begin with. |

ZAMBIES!
The gate slowly opened just on the outskirts of the city where the dead seemed to be restless. Okuda had been sent as a sort of first, and hopefully, only necessary back up for this event whilst other battles raged thanks to the dead walking once more. He could see the purple smoke rising slowly, as if it were weighted down by something. He could also see the horde of the dead walking. With the wave of his hand the young Shinigami closed the Senkaimon, lest the horde somehow manage to traverse it, the last thing anyone needed was the empty husks arriving in the Soul Society.
Okuda knew that his particular skills would be of use in this situation, he soon found himself utilizing his Shunpo to appear down below, in the midst of the horde, his Zanpakutō drawn as he began to difficult task of silencing foes once more. Thankfully these were empty husks, no souls to speak of and as such he had no reason to hold back. He sliced straight through a zombie on the vertical plane, cutting it in two and destroying not only its brain but its brain stem in one easy swipe.
Okuda’s eyes became slits as he began to unleash a blade mastered over many years, easily cutting through the seemingly endless numbers. Thanks to his willpower and focus he was for now not being affected by the miasma itself, though he did not know for how long that would last. He however knew that whilst his body was able to move, he would need to slice through those who dared to raise their...fists, to the living world and risk its safety as well as the balance of the spiritual and the living.
Okuda wasted no time, he watched as his blade quickly sliced through the brain stems of several zombies, destroying their base motor functions and rendering them nothing but corpses without movement once more. Okuda had been more than used to fighting larger groups of enemies than most, in fact his entire fighting style was based around such an idea. If he had the distance, he would have used one of his abilities, but for now he did not have the time to draw his blade into position to use most of his multiple target abilities...

Judas Iscariot
Into the fray
» Meep
The band of zombies that stormed through the village within the confinement of china like a wrecking ball, seemed like an endless wave of rotting corpses. Paving through the village, purging those that onced lived to be as human beings before getting themselves caught up by the miasma. The miasma was like a strong force of wicked energy that had the potential to break through, even the strongest of wills. It was like a toxic laughing gas, and if those who inhaled enough of it. The victim of the miasma would surely be in a pit of their own hell. One of their worst qualities being brought to light, like a newborn child. The chaos surroundings those who haven’t been affected by it yet, appeared to be a never ending frenzy of flesh eating freaks. This surely looked like a sick Halloween joke, in which people banded together and scared the living souls out of the innocent people of china.
Many wanted to believe that this was some sick joke, but it felt all too real. Heroes or the lack thereof, were quickly armed and ready for this sudden endeavor. Their gears equip and their power at their disposal if they were to ever come across, unsettling situations. There was a high functioning barrier that protected the innocents that weren’t so far gone, covering the ones that are healthy and protected by the warriors that arrived at the scene. However, there was only a matter of time before the barrier becomes extinguished. The stronger and more capable people, helped the resistance and in order to push back the zombies, threatening the people of china.
There was a sight that’s worth noting, a quincy had arrived and assisted the weak and the genin. Along with the arrival of a girl with a red hood. This was a perfect sight to see, and to witness the struggles of these brave heroes. Judas, this mysterious iramasha would also make their appearance. However, she wanted her original body to stay well hidden as calamity continued. She used this time to summon a single shadow clone, clad in a hood with a bunny bask. The original body also wore the same outfit, covering her appearance and making herself anonymous. When she began to summon her clone, she gathered any existing aether energy from within her vicinity. A dark and sinister aura sprouted from her body, she wasn’t far away from the action. Judas had accidentally spilled too much energy into creating a single clone, it was enough to signal the girls nearby or the man who paved his way with his zanpakuto. She had done so unconsciously, as she was infected by the madness.
Once the clone came to fruition, the clone began dashing forward. Judas clone spring forth onto one of the buildings, one of which was the medical building where she could see the corpse of a shinigami. Her masked face, and purple eyes could visualize what was up ahead. A strange figure wearing a blue jacket, trying to leave the play area. Her clone attempted to interrupt his leave, by grabbing two of clay from her pockets and infused them with her aether energy. Once done, she leaped off the edge of the medical building to where another building was set. Using the jump to close the gap, and chucked her clay infused bomb at the strange man. Once it was in his range, the clay had detonated 10 feet from the body. It was enough to use this opportunity to appear within the black smoke, created by the detonated clay. The explosive at such a distance was enough to potentially garner some attention out of him. Including the body of a masked stranger that spring out of the smoke.

Crash. CRASH! CRAAAAASH!
Another wave of the dead smashed into the barricade. Hideous laughter, cackling, and shrieks accompanied the psychotic corpses. Who would stand against them, against their attack?
The first was a strangely dressed woman; the hordes barely seemed to register she was there. Even as she kicked up stone, launching them in multiple directions, they simply were knocked about. A few of them were impaled upon the initial creation of the rocks; taking out the first line of attackers against the doors. They would be replaced within a short period of time; and in the meantime, the woman would find the zombies approaching her. They were trying to overwhelm her with their numbers; if she managed to navigate the way they were actively attacking the other defenders who appeared, there was a chance she would get out unscathed. After all, with her; they simply tried to get closer. And closer. And closer... By yourself. By yourself. So many of them, and its just you. Just you...
The Archer had appeared. It seemed that she was trying a different approach; the zombies whose heads had been blown off merely scrambled about, bumping and clawing their way forward the same as before. Then, the horde received another wave of damage. This one was significantly more powerful; blowing into the group as their bodies flailed and surged back and forth, their attention shifting to her almost immediately. They rapidly began piling upon one another, a decent chunk of the undead who had been pounding against the building turning to face her as explosions ripped through the night sky. Where she was near that side of the building, an impressive number of zombies began rising up upon one another's shoulders. If she did move soon, they would grab and reach and tear at her body. Forgotten... is that all the Quincy are? Where are your allies? Why are you here fighting alone? Struggling alone...?
The third intruder was noticed by the ones who were not in that pile. She seemed to gather a much larger response; before she knew it, the zombies she was attacking and blowing back were being knocked into one another... Not long after, their corpses stopped being able to move as she rent hole after hole through them. Within the thick of this horde, though, she would feel the strongest effects of the Miasma that was growing and pulsating from the zombie horde. They moved as if frenzied, charging toward her to be destroyed, cut and slashed into pieces, but... the piles of flesh were simply pushed back toward her again... Give in. Just give back into the madness. It feels so much easier than struggling against it. It's what felt so much more right. Just doing what you want. Taking what you want. Protecting who you want. Stop... resisting.
The Samurai who had appeared did not seemed to have witnessed the fate of the Zombie that had been struck down by the Quincy. While its brain and brainstem were destroyed, its arms were left in a state that allowed for it to try gripping onto him with all of its might. It would not be able to hold him for long, however, as his blade rent its body and the bodies of several around him. His blade seemed most effective at dividing their bodies into something which could no longer threaten anyone. Similarly to the first he had tried to slay, the zombies he attacked did not stop the movements of their bodies. Perhaps it would be around this time he would begin to feel the same effect that the Demon Woman had. That feeling of Madness, pulsating against his conscious. Just kill them. JUST KILL THEM. REND THEIR FLESH. KILL. IT'S WHAT YOU'RE GOOD AT. JUST KILL! KILL! KILL THEM ALL!
Both the Shinigami and the Demon managed to create spherical shapes of resistance against their assailants. However, they seemed to completely ignore the other two who had appeared. The Skeleton was completely disregarded. The woman with her explosions was, as well. Rubble and debris fell onto the corpses that were trying to scale the building; the force of the eruptions seemed to spur them on even further, and down below... CRASH! The front of the building gave way. Cackling and madness joined together as the horde surged into the opening, the ones scaling the walls decreasing in size as their undead brethren sought their next meal...
The zombie horde has broken inside of the Bastion; the Horde's size has not grown, but a significant number of them were not forced away from the entrance, threatening the unconscious inside. They are on the first floor; the ones they are trying to kill are on the third. The building within is massive, likely an office building with a massive foyer. Each end of the building has a staircase; in addition to the massive staircase on the first level that leads only to the second.
All of the defenders feel the psychosis around them in different ways. Will they stop the horde? Will one of them give into their own shattered psyches...?
Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

CALM BEFORE THE STORM
The damned roamed the Earth, and insanity plagued all of Beijing as hundreds of thousands fell to the madness. Multiple came to help defend the innocent and push back the horde, two of them being the main reason why Henrex made sure to pass-through here before he made his way to the Inner Circle. Making his way to the village where both his daughter and his friend were, it didn't take him long to close the distance between them.
Glancing at his hand as the blue marking on his palm shined with its golden light as he pushed himself further, burning more energy to fully close the gap between the horde and the building, holding his hand out to the enemies.
"I swear...I will protect everyone!"
With this declaration of heroism, the conditions had been met. His Seal of Heroism activated and a brilliant flash of sacred light erupted from the half-breed as he quickly took control of the holy essence, merging it together with his own power over the wind as a powerful gust exploded forward, turning the purifying blast of holy energy into a blast of hallowed winds, sending the horde in front of him back tens of feet away.
The building rumbled as the gust forced the initial horde away. Without wasting time, Henrex entered the building and held his hand out, facing the floor as a yellow circle spiraled to life in the center of the room, acting as a deterrent to the growing madness. It wouldn't last for very long, but it would give them all slightly more resistance to the miasma and bring their sanity back to the forefront, at least, for now.
With a sigh of relief, he gave a small wave to Arianda, before walking over to Yoriko and hugging her tightly.
"I can't stay long, I need to head to the Inner Circle. But, I wanted to come and give you some help."
Taking his daughter's hand and holding his own above it, the same seal would appear in her palm as he reached out towards Sylvia, causing the seal to appear on her palm as well.
"It's a temporary recreation of my power, Oath of Heroism. Only use it when you need it most."
Should the two accept this power, they would be able to utilize a similar form of this power around one or two times before it would fade away. Regardless, Henrex exited the building, utilizing Oath of Heroism a final time in order to give more resistance to the barrier that the horde would likely attempt to try and get through again. Taking out the vial of Deep Blood, Henrex drank from the volume of demonic blood, recovering a portion of his energy. Turning north, Henrex rocketed off toward where he could sense Kuro's energy.

- Seal of Heroism Information:
- Actualized Heroism - Oath of Heroism: The definition of heroism, for Henrex, is -- as said before -- an oath. This is reminiscent of that which he had done long ago, swear an oath to himself to protect those he loved and those who could not protect themselves. And in his spiritual life, he swore to live up to the expectations that others had for him, no matter how difficult they seemed. He is the man who stops the monsters. Therefore, it would be fitting that the ability granted by the Seal of Heroism would be named none other than "Oath of Heroism".
This was born under the stipulation that Henrex would live up to his values and goals as a hero. Ergo, one of the first things that should be noted about this power is that it cannot be activated directly out of willpower. Rather, it is something that can only be used properly if someone needs his help. If he makes an oath to protect others, then the seal will grant him quite an extensive scope of power, all stemming originally from Cirno's holy magic.
This can span from creation-related abilities, healing powers, purification abilities, or even to the extent of warping reality itself in order to live up to what he swore to do. Virtually, there is a very small restriction as to what all Henrex can do with the Seal, as long as it is within the scope of his power. Therefore, there is a lot of symbolism within his concept as a ninja, as this allows for an immense amount of versatility and creativity when it comes to the usage of this.
Yet, there is still a major restriction to it, and that would be when it comes to mastering it. There is a large amount of practice that needs to be had when it comes to him using this ability, learning when to use it, and learning how to take it further and further as the seal continues to bond with him. Ergo, it is very much up to Henrex when it comes to the maturing of this seal and power, as it primarily relies on the limitations and guidelines that Erna and the Seal itself has set within it.
- Other Information:
- Effects of the Circle: 3-4 posts before becoming ineffective due to the growing strength of the madness
Barrier Strength: Roughly Adept, though this will be more effective at keeping the corpses out, due to its structure being of holy energy

The Wandering Genin
Yoriko Morri
While the horde of zombies were significantlly less then before they went straight through the barrier from right underneath their noses. Their groans grew louder not to mention that the ones in front of her were lingering closer and closer heading straight towards the girl.
She had to make a choice either save the people but risk letting them pass through with no assailants to push them back or stay here and let them suffer on their own accord. No,no,no! Yoriko frantically hand signed attempting to summon a clone to at least distract the zombies long enough to but was interrupted.. something was ringing in her ears and mind as if a force was calling to her..no no she can’t succumb to the madness now
seconds passed as the insanity stole into her mind like a deranged thief, taking what was important to her, adding new dangerous ideas, seeding a new personality and muddling up the rest. New sparks of ideas that once she would have dismissed as bizarre started to grow roots, deep roots, they started to make sense in one revolutionary eureka moment after another, cascading out of control.
However something appeared into the distance coming ever closer towards the barrier she recognized that energy anywhere, it was dad. And as soon as the shinobi saw him a tear feel as her father gave a hug along with some sort of feeling..a feeling of hope, resolve, and most importantly willpower. Thank you dad..please come back in one piece She wanted to hold him longer but he had other business to take care of, but before leaving he gave some small details about this seal she was given. This information was crucial for her one usage is all it had and she wasn’t going to waste it so frivolously. But before she could say anything her father left going to the inner circle perhaps to assist the others in need whoever they are.
She finally had the courage to continue defending the barrier, but first the one’s heading towards the building was her top priority, summoning a clone to defend the position while the real one went towards the building specifically the ones were the zombies were headed.
She figured if destroying the stairways where the zombies were coming from it would least stop them from albeit not forever. But the building had so many it’d be difficult to destroy them all but she wouldn’t give up so easily, her father wanted to protect others and so will she. Quickly shunpo’ing across the office building examining each staircase before getting to work. With a quick shift of her legs and feet a small rumble would be sent throughout the building not enough to make it crumble as she wasn’t proficient with her earth abilities yet but it would causing the staircase in front of her to crackle before falling to the ground with a loud thud. If she was able to do so she’d repeat this for every one as fast as she could.
