Bleeding The Doctor Cannot Stop [MADNESS CAPITAL]
Fri Oct 25, 2019 11:08 pm
An insane man, looking to kill.
Needing to.
His rational mind freed, unable to return...
His dying body losing itself to its madness.
Who will answer the screeching of his soul?
Splat.
A blade mashed into the corpse that was laid against the wall. The one behind it drew the head back again…
Splat.
Splat. Splat.
Splat. Splatsplat. Splat splat SPLAT. SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT!
An ear-rending shriek, tappering in and out of a laughing fit, echoed throughout the brutalized landscape. This place had once been known as a street. Now it was a series of scars. Entire sections of different buildings had been carved out. Blood covered the road, extending out in every direction, extending down both ends of it.
It was a bit difficult to see the crimson road through all of the purple.
A thick miasma hovered over the street. The only sounds that pierced its veil were the splats and the shrieking that accompanied it. The cackling. Blow after blow kicking up more blood against the side of the building. The Asian characters on the sign above the gruesome display flickered in, and out. Brightness, and darkness. It flickered in and out of time with all of the ones along the street. Then, all at once, the noise stopped.
A total silence filled the street…
Beijing's financial district, completely silent in the middle of the day.
I do appear to have completely lost my mind.
Non-existent. The words meant nothing, had no bearing on anything. And yet, at the same time, they still mattered. They mattered for one conscious; even if it currently inhabited nothing.
…Seven days and nights have passed… I'm beginning to think I'll be subjected to this for an eternity.
If the conscious could sigh, it would have. Instead, it could only witness as the white and red cloaked form hovered up and out of the ground.
Or perhaps… my consciousness will simply fade away. I wonder if my body would even notice.
Based on the face-splitting smile that the man was wearing, the consciousness doubted it. Not a single shred of logic left. All of it's here. I brought it out completely. And left it with just one order. That said…
The man's head drew back, his eyes rolling back into his head as his body bent and warped. In and out, joints cracking, popping. Teeth flashed, biting down on his lip until yet more blood joined his collar.
Then he was away again, dashing through the air.
Something has changed. The Madness Wavelength has finally dissipated around here; the feedback has started to diminish. The urge to destroy is still just as strong, but… I no longer feel as distant. I can see now. My thoughts are able to come one after the other. That is certainly an improvement…
Suddenly, the figure stopped its flailing about.
…So, it has found something worth dismembering.
"KEEEEEEEEEY-AHAHAHAHAHAH!!"
The purple miasma darkened, spreading around the Mad Doctor's form as it shot through the sky. Bits of flesh peeled off of his body from the speed; the blood-paved streets beneath him began blending together. The bizarre three eyes that seemed to phantasmally form about his face shone with a bizarre iris. Two inverted triangles, placed in a column. They made hiding nearly impossible; they were the Kintsugigan, a tool for researching and finding answers… now turned to the singular purpose of the hunt.
He did nothing to conceal his presence; throughout the city, his spiritual energy surged in every direction, announcing to everyone within a ten mile radius that [b]he was here. That he was hunting. His shrieking alone nearly travelled that distance.
My dear, my son, my family… please, don't come near. He can't tell the difference…! He can't tell anything! Foolish body, with these urges…! Yielding to them over and over again, flailing about...!
Suddenly, his body stopped. The whole thing jerked, his arms splaying out as a torrent of blood splashed out. The shrieking grew even higher pitched, making glass on the ground shatter. His hands reached for the bleeding, surging hole in his torso, golden stitches pouring out and reconstructing the hole. "AAIEEY! AIYE, EEEEEIII!!"
nnn….RRGH…! …That foolish man… That arrogant fool. If not for him, none of this would have happened. That wound alone has been festering… and the sutures keep breaking more and more often. Will this be the end…? So long as he's able to hold that scythe… there's the chance he will be subdued… But…
It seems far more likely… that he'll simply continue to kill until every bit of my research, my power is forced onto this undeserving world…
His body came to a stop, at last. Constant giggling and chuckling possessed him, all three of those bizarre eyes looking directly at the one he had found. Did he recognize them? Could he recognize the one before him?
Did he even have the ability to wonder about such things...?
Within this thread, the Madness Wavelength is much more potent than anywhere else within the city. Each post, the characters involved must actively resist the effects of the Doctor's wavelength. These effects can include paranoia, anxiety, disassociation with the world around them, and even hallucinations in some cases. Be advised.
Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

This city, smelled like shit. Worse than shit, actually. Shit was roses and lavender compared to how bad this place reeked. Well, then again, Honey wasn't the biggest fan of rotten flesh, even less that the flesh was able to move. It reminded her to the first time she witnessed carrion, on a hunting trip with her Uncle when she was much smaller, when a horrid smack of nastiness cursed her nostrils as she was searching for rabbits. Finding the rotten corpse was one thing, seeing birds pecking away and eating that foulness was all the more sickening.
But there was no time for her to reminiscent on her childhood phobia of crows. She was sent on a mission, finally a mission, to aid those trapped within this cloud of madness, and to stop the man who was creating it. However, the more innocents she tried to "save", the more she realized there wasn't much she could even do. The hybrid was desperate to make the citizens who had lost their minds to snap out of it and run away, but they only kept laughing and giggling as if they were having the time of their lives. There was no helping them in their current state, other than to stop the person making the scary cloud. Her head had been buzzing since she began searching for the creator of the shroud, feeling as if a balloon was slowly blowing up in her skull, but she shook off the sensation, she needed to focus, focus...
And soon, her movements were stopped when she heard a shrill, inhumane laugh, her ear twitching and pointed in the direction of the laughter. It was different than the mad citizen's cackles, far different, alien almost. She had an awful feeling in her gut, but she had a good feeling, she found who she was looking for, the wolf jumping building to building towards the source of the laughter, til she skidded to a stop, peeking over a roof to behold... Good lord she had no idea what she was even looking at. Her mind was saying human, but it was wrong, so very very wrong, it was a wrong looking human, well... Was he even human at this point..?
Her already confused mind only got more confused, but she steeled herself. She had to save those innocents, she had to protect them, and this was the best way of doing it. Her clawed fingers scraped the tiling of the roof, shaking her head in attempt to clear it, remembering the report of how the madness could affect her as well, looking around and not seeing any other combatants after this man at the moment. That was bad; if she lost her mind and nobody was around to back her up, she could hurt someone, or the man could kill her.. Though she might be risking giving away her location to the man just below, she needed to make sure someone would be curious enough to come and discover this was where the source was.
She inhaled, puffing up her lungs as much as she could, and then released the loudest howl she possibly could do, hoping someone, anyone would come by to see what her noise was, pushing herself to her feet. His weapon seems to only be his scythe, maybe if she could disarm him..
Unsheathing her Zanpakuto, she knew she needed some counter in case he swung at her, and she had no idea how sharp that scythe was. Getting onto her feet, she then used her immense strength to send her shooting towards the man at bullet speeds, the roof tiles breaking under her feet as she boosted down towards him, sword ready to guard herself as she shot down.

Captain of Naps
Jaeden Crow
He'd gotten his orders pretty quickly this time around. Higher-ups were interested in seeing if the Crow still had it. Scratching the back of his knuckle as traversed through the realm. This promised to be an issue he imagined as he had his mask on. From all the information he knew about those within K-World. This was a strange occurrence to happen again. He'd wanted to tell his superiors to kindly go **** themselves. But as he emerged from a Garganta looking below now. Senkaimon would have been effective really. But Jaeden's eyes looked down at the body. His expression reading and studying. He'd taken a position in the air to come in a bit easier. His gaze shifted to the Misama, suddenly feeling thankful the old man wasn't around. This would have become a mess if that had come to pass. But it did seem likely that the infamous Doctor Hebi would do much the same. His head shifted hearing a howl now. Well, it seemed someone was calling for a hand of sorts. Well, it seemed likely the best course of action would be to help her.
They were many in that place below humans in trouble. Jaeden gently touched his hand to his zanpakuto. Consideration on how could he best help them. He could apply G-forces to them until they passed out. But that could cause internal damage as well. It wasn't a perfect solution at this moment in time. It wouldn't do for him to consider any other openings. Removing his hand from his zanpakuto he took a single step. Arriving by the side of the female who'd screamed. His eyes not looking at her as he knew that would be unwise. "I'd release your zanpakuto miss...While I don't believe all his faculties are present...I do believe the good doctor is quite...formidable.." He said unsheathing his zanpakuto now. It seemed like it would be best for him to do so as well. As he didn't know what all could be accomplished. They were going to require more substantial help at some point he guessed. The only hope was this guy didn't have access to everything.
Bringing his zanpakuto to the front of him he inhaled. Focusing his eyes on the body of the male. Looking for any movements or threatening gestures. Jaeden's main concern lay resting above them. They had to knock sense into this guy hopefully. Because at present the Gotei had nobody he knew of. not one person could fix this issue of the miasma safely. Not a single one of them could realistically bring a justified sense of anything. He knew he sure as hell couldn't fix the issue. While sending it into space would have been neat. It also wouldn't work so that raised a different question. Within his inner world to his hollow, he spoke. "No offense bud, but I think we are gonna maybe...have some trouble here." His hollow's eyes opened as Jaeden's masked frame stared outwards. Reiatsu of black mixing into his powers now. "Oh, you think so? I feel alright thus far the same as her. But he does look tough with that scythe...Wanna toss a cero and see what he does? "
"May as well, but I got a bad feeling about it. " Jaeden's free hand raised as the familiar orange hue began to emit from his palm. Firing a blast towards the figure of Hebi now. It wasn't his most potent attack, however. He was testing the reflexes of the man before him. He had a hunch him and the lady were going to be feeling it. He didn't know what her resistance to that miasma was either. But he got the hunch pretty soon this could go from bad to worse. For once the Gotei and their higher ranks knew one thing. They were next to useless in this situation. Not a single bloody kido specialist here to fix it. A scientist would be nice as well here. But nope they sent a member of the combat Division. With a single medic out here to investigate it. Both of them not even going at the same damn time. But upon releasing the orange flash a Hebi. He merely waited and observed what he was gonna do.
"...I got a bad feeling about this."

Re: Bleeding The Doctor Cannot Stop [MADNESS CAPITAL]

Is it possible…? Will this be the spot…?
The twitching, distorting form continued to shamble forward without hesitation, one shaking hand jerking as it extended too far forward, then suddenly pushing back toward the Doctor's body once again. As if it were part of some broken physics engine; as though it were following rules other than those determined by this world. His head swiveled, red and black eyes jerking and swiveling about their sockets. His ears, on the other hand, seemed to work normally.
So the first one foolish enough to come after me…
This will end badly.
The figure stopped its mad charge, scythe moving behind its body as the distortions began to settle back down, leaving his body much more humanoid than it had been before. Pulse after Pulse of the Madness Wavelength coursed out of his body, the buildings and ground around him seeming to warp slightly as well. Was it a trick of the light? Was the viewer going mad? Or was the world itself fighting against the Madness he was spreading, while it tried to find a mind to snap?
Regardless of the why, the creature continued stepping forward, toward where the howling came from.
"AEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOO! AHAHAHAHAHA!"
The creature released its own shrieking howl, having no regard for subtlety or courtesy. Like nails on a chalkboard, it scratched and tore at the minds of all who heard it, joining Honey's own, further indicating where the Doctor's body was rampaging. The laughter turned into screaming as he flung himself directly at her.
Like a racing bullet, his body reappeared behind her own, the fingers of his hands trying to grip onto her head from behind. The creature was motivated by one thing, and one thing only: satisfying its own sadistic desires. If his fingers found their way into her hair, her immense strength would be measured against the Doctor's own, the wounds on his chest spurting black blood onto her Haori from behind. The muscles in his arm tightened, tugging her by her head back. The amount of strain this would induce upon her legs and lower body from the conflicting forces would deliver a high degree of pain throughout her form, if he was successful.
The amount of force required to perform such a task, though, would mean that once he overpowered her, she would be sent crashing into the ground below, shattering concrete and earth with her body. At that point, the Doctor's right hand would attempt to latch directly onto her wind pipe, forcing her to look into his eyes as he began to squeeze. His cackling was all she would be able to hear. His hands would grip with just enough force to ensure that she would not be able to escape; and the more she called upon that immense strength she had thrust toward him with earlier, the more she would find his arms unwilling to allow for her to succeed. Growing more and more desperate as her superhuman strength failed her, his fingers squeezing in tighter with each failure, making the blood rush through her head…
…Really. If the Gotei's in such a mood to lose members…
The creature's focus shifted, never leaving its gaze on Honey. Its eyes could see the man who had just walked out of his Garganta; another one with a decent level of power. The creature tried to remember who that was.
Fool. You can't know what I know; you may know how fast that man is, but you only know instinctually how to deal with speed. Context means nothing to you. Or rather, you can only understand a single one.
The creature laughed as Jaeden appeared in front of it. If it had Honey pinned, its leg would come crashing down onto her sternum, standing up in front of the man, pushing. Hard. Trying to at least crack her ribs, or just deal with the incredible strength she was capable of. "Eheahhahhahahahahaha…" The creature cackled at the man, his right hand opening as electric sparks jumped between his fingers, purple lightning sparking and running between the tips, growing in radius within his palm.
The feeling of Hollow Power began to twinge and affect the reiatsu of the man in front of the Doctor's body. The laughing became higher pitched at the sight, some part of it reminded of hollows. The fingers in his hand twitched, gripping in slightly, the ring it wore glowing red through the Miasma.
His hand began reaching down toward Honey, sparks racing… Before Jaeden released an energy blast directly at him. Without hesitation, his foot smashed down much harder into Honey's sternum, trying to send shockwaves of debilitating pain through her body. Meanwhile, the scythe it carried began spinning in its other hand, the tip glowing as Dust Energy filled it. The Doctor's hands moved forward, cutting into the energy as its structure was violated and decimated, the blast smoothly dividing in half without exploding as the lower half crashed into the Doctor's legs, throwing the cackling being straight into Jaeden.
"BAD? MAD! MAD!" Words raced out of the mad consciousness, his legs flapping about beneath him as he raced at Jaeden.
At that moment, Jaeden would find that he could not predict where the Doctor was about to attack. As he raced toward the man, where was he going to strike? The way his body distorted, it could be anywhere. It could be anywhere at all. It could be everywhere. There was no indication. There was no motivation. What he was about to do. How he was about to do it. No evidence. Just bloodlust. Intent to attack. But how? What? When? Where? Why? There was no supporting evidence to satisfy any of these questions.
The Doctor's scythe came down into Jaeden's left side, trying to smash into it. There was no cutting; the decimation of Dust Energy would rip at Jaeden's body, breaking down what it came into contact with and leaving it so much dust. But the Doctor was not trying to bifurcate Jaeden; merely knock him off balance. That scythe attack had been done with his left arm, and his right hand was making a play at the same time. His fingers attempted to wrap around Jaeden's face, and…
That electricity would try to crash into Jaeden's body through where the Doctor's hand gripped his face. If it connected, Jaeden would likely hear his hollow screaming out in pain as it was damaged, the spiritual reserves Jaeden possessed directly under attack, in addition to the incredible pain coursing through his body from where the Doctor's hand gripped him.
At this point, the Doctor's body would release him, cackling as its scythe began moving back behind its body. The Dust Element vanished from the blade's length, the creature laughing and laughing as it looked down at Jaeden. What would he do next? How would he try to react? The insane creature was playing with its food, now; waiting to see how the man beneath him would try to counteract him. The Madness Wavelength was incredibly augmented from his body being this close; Jaeden's fears, his apathy, his lack of action, of direction… Whispers would likely speak and scream within his mind as the monster stood over him, still cackling at him.
Laughing and laughing away…
…That said… why does it feel like it will take an excruciatingly long time to find the spot where I'll die?

Honey only wished to see how hard this man could strike before she strategized, but as she flew towards him, the world slurred, but it wasn't the normal experience of her perception being affected by her speed. No, it was like something was screwing with her sight, making it hard to even keep her eyes on her target. It took only a second of faltering for it all to go wrong.
Suddenly her target was no longer in front of her. She immediately had the instinct to look over her shoulder. And dear lord, there he was, but before she could retaliate, her head was suddenly grasped and yanked back. Even if her strength and tolerance to pain made it easy to take the hit, she couldn't do much to stop herself from crashing to the ground and having this thing pinning her down.
For once, she was the prey it seemed.
Her body stung as she tried to yank herself away from this man, but her progress was halted as he placed his hands on her throat, and squeezed. The hybrid whined and strained, her body immediately yelling out danger, but she resisted any instinct to transform. Transforming here and going mad would be a catastrophe in itself. It was already hard to keep her own mind in check with how overpowering the aura felt from this man. He smelled of blood and decay, be it from his own body or people he stabbed, Honey wouldn't know.
She kept swinging her sword, hitting him in the side, as she tried kicking him and kicking him like a screaming rabbit wishing to escape, but she only felt the grip get tighter. Good lord how strong was this guy? Her gaze rolled over to the sight of a new person, one she hoped wasn't another infected person, though it didn't take long for her thoughts to be interrupted once more, feeling her chest be stomped on, hard, causing the wolf to cough and wheeze. Though her body was tough enough to resist crumbling from the stomps, it certainly was painful and made her bones creak and groan. Her hand refused to release the sword; that was one major part of training ingrained in her, never ever drop your Zanpakuto. Ever.
She struggled still, underneath him, until she saw a bright zapping in his hand, slowly coming down for her... It was probably going to be a pretty bad day, huh? She braced for the pain, however the monster hanging above her was shot with an attack, from the man who had appeared. Awesome, he wasn't infected! Though her joy was quickly extinguished when the mad doctor slammed his foot on her chest, far harder this time. She could almost hear the cracking of ribs inside of her, but such a thing wouldn't cease her movements.
Onto her feet she immediately went, panting from the pain in her chest, the straining in her legs. Her body tried to repair itself as fast as possible, but it wouldn't numb the pain. The creature launched at the man, though the young wolf had heard him say something earlier... Release? Release! This was a far stronger opponent, so she'd probably have to use Shikai...
Her blade rose to the sky, and if not stopped, she would yell, "Howl! Oka-Jin!"
The winds would suddenly pick up tremendously around her as her zanpakuto changed into a blade of pure winds, the wolf then swinging her sword with tremendous strength, released a large current of wind, many sharp winds racing towards the doctor, threatening to cut him apart.
Honey realized that if she got close, he'd just clobber her, so for now it was best to keep her distance and attack from far away.

Captain of Naps
Jaeden Crow
He wanted to help the girl out he really did. But the problem with Hebi was that moving too close was dangerous. He wasn't sure if he could safely approach him. Jaeden knew the instant that man began moving towards him. It was time to go, did he know where the attack was coming from? No, he didn't need that answer just get the hell out. No time to remain idle he activated his shikai silently. The blade's hilt gaining weight at the end of it. He took note of the girl's position relative to Hebi's now. Bringing his sword up as he stood in the air. He brought it down with a swooping crash. Releasing a gravity blast into the ground where Hebi was located. Traiškyti was the name it was known by. His mask had helped him empower it as he used a flash step again. Moving quickly to stand next to the girl's location. Before sending a pulse of gravity towards Hebi's location. Pushing back any advancement techniques. "Long story short, this guy is not safe to fight at close range...Thankfully he isn't all there or otherwise, we'd be dead. " He said commenting on the Doctor's sanity quickly.
"Now I don't know what your powers can do, but I'll try and combine what I have with yours..I'm Jaeden Crow I am mostly known for speed." He said speaking quickly. Combat Division was really missing that Captain at the moment. If anything his mind pondered what had gone wrong. They were missing so many people. No matter they would have to suffice in this situation. "Information on the Doctor is limited, the guy is a genius. That's all we know about him." Jaeden's gaze never left the man he was fighting. He pondered how long could he keep this up. This situation was a regular shit show they were in. But that made it exciting in a way as well. Last time he felt this much of a challenge. That was against Zefonse and his invasion within the Gotei. He'd given her what information he could on him. The problem was he knew so little on Hebi himself.
K-World hadn't budged yet to help contain this situation. They were silent his eyes blinked for a moment. Perhaps this was a diversion to leave the Soul King without protection? No Kyoraku was back at the Gotei and clearly had it in hand. The center was a mess of problems and conclusions. This fight would be a tough one nobody was walking away freely. The Doctor was not all in and it was clear one thing. That they would be in danger still regardless of it. Jaeden came in to try if he could to help. What were the odds of them defeating this guy? Well, for now, the best bet was to fight. " Tell me something, Hebi if you can even hear anymore. Is this how a man of your intellect goes about fighting? " He didn't know what to do really. Barbs were the best shot he guessed in this section. Two Gotei members vs One Mad Doctor. This sounded like a really bad title to a book or comic. Bringing his sword in front of him Jaeden got ready to bolt again. Having taken a position off to the side away from Hebi. Putting himself several meters from Honey and the scientist.

He didn't even get a moment to meet and learn all the interesting and fascinating things about his new squad he was named the Captain of, when an emergency situation dictated that he was needed to go deal with a threat. Based on the intel, this "doctor" was a bit of a misfit: Nobody liked him but his knowledge and abilities left others to tolerate him. Well, perhaps until now, that was Shin's understanding anyway. He wondered how long he'd have to spend absorbing information before he became like that Doctor. Baka, I'm here and that's why you won't go mad. Shin blinked hardly as Shibo Aijin chipped into his mentalsphere and he just smirked. "Yeah, I can't be driven mad if you already beat me to it." Exactl-NANI?!!?! I'm the one that keeps you from becoming a wandering hermit that talks to himself and tries to do stupid shit like this doctor asshole! Shin paused at that thought: Did the sheer bond he had and delighted company of his Zanpakutou really act as an emotional support to prevent him from burning at both ends? He thought about it for a moment and sighed. "Thank you for that. Now, something isn't right about this place. I keep feeling something trying to seep in. Perhaps it's this madness I've been seeing but, there is nothing in the air to infect anyone."
Shin moved through the city, observing the varying degrees of sensory input he had to incur to keep sharp: Every smell, every change in his sight, every change in the wind. Then, the blunt, expulsion of multiple forms of reiatsu came from the distance. Some familiar as shinigami, others not so much. Shin noted that he would need to move swiftly and quickly but also, that it was best to take the more stealthy approach: And use whatever this clash of forces was as a distraction so he could better assess the situation. And with powers at this level, that left only one option.
"Bankai." Shin said as shortly enough, he'd be surrounded in a veil of what appeared to be black reiatsu. Appearing almost as a black liquid that wrapped around his body, before his form changed into that of the black robes reminiscent of an authentic captain. Before shortly enough, he warped this appearance all around his body, contorting spikes to form from the scythe blades of his Bankai to emerge from his flesh, and cover any reminiscence of being a Shinigami and soon causing his appearance to appear much, much more Hollow-like in nature. He would then cause his own reiatsu and cellular structure to become modified to seem much more Hollow and suppress it so it was at the lowest levels he could manage at Bankai, his power level seeming as if it were that of a minor Hollow. "Zettai Shibo Aijin. Let's get this figured out." Soon enough, Shin would rapidly dart from area to area and, scouring through the city as he moved towards this seemingly intense battle. It was then he found just that and proceeded to mask his presence as he observed.
BAKA! Go in there and stabby stab him! Shin, at hearing this suggestion, merely ignored her. He was observing the different facets of what this battle was and would become. Based on the force of the reiatsu alone, trying to force himself into this fight would be a poor choice. He would need to understand what was happening from both sides before making any decisions. He noticed a few key things: He had a combat style that seemed feral, as if he was also consumed by the madness that was around them. His physical abilities were overbearing to say the least and likely, his lack of abandon for himself meant he'd be more likely to push through otherwise risky situations. Then, he noticed the electricity. How fascinating, how was he making it, how strong was it, what did it do? Shin was now at the peak of his curiosity and, he knew that learning every detail about this beast of a figure would be impossible due to the stacks, he could still revel in the few things he would learn about him.

NNNNNNHHHHHCKKK….
The Doctor's fingers tightened around the hybrid's throat, trying to force her windpipe to begin breaking. Especially as her blade crashed into his side, his only reaction was increasing the pressure on the only way the body could use to breathe. The durability he held took the first blow, but blood began to splatter along her weapon as she continued to assault him.
While his focus was being split between the woman on the ground and the man in front of him, the crazed form of the Doctor did not miss the way her fingers gripped around the hilt of her blade.
…Holding onto your weapon. A noble ideal, I suppose. But ultimately, it winds up just being another weakness, doesn't it?
Whether or not the crazed individual understood the significance of her grip tightening around her weapon remained to be seen. His laughter continued to fill the area, gaining a hellish quality as Honey spoke the words to release her Zanpakuto.
It seemed that the man who had appeared took exception to his brutalization of the woman. Before the body knew what was happening, its body was under assault by a wave of gravity. It pushed onto his body, causing another splatter of blood to emerge, splatters covering Honey's upper chest and neck, the Doctor's body being blown back and away.
The Doctor's body crashed along the ground, unceremoniously jerking as it righted itself again. He may be fast, but speed still requires anticipation to be of much use… He'll likely harm this body, though it does have the ability to foresee quite a bit of what is coming at it. The jerking corpse began dashing forward again, running straight into Jaeden's gravity that was trying to push him back. The pair of them could see the blood from the wound on his sternum oozing into his lab jacket, much darker than the other splatters that covered him.
Jaeden's words hit against the body of the man… and in return, his entire reality shifted for a moment. The Madness Wavelength reached its peak, and in front of him he saw ripping, tearing, the grinding up and mashing of flesh. Men were ripped into pieces, unable to move, screaming and screaming. And above them all, he could feel a kind of… coldness. An unfeeling, unmoving blackness, that cascaded throughout the scene. A hand reaching forward, fingers outstretching, pressing onto the forehead of a sleeping man. Before Jaeden's eyes, the man's body began to ripple and tear apart, his eyes unable to open as his mouth began to scream…
Gradually, the screaming rejoined the Doctor's own, the man thrusting his arm into the ground.
Beneath Jaeden's body, spikes made out of earth ripped outward, trying to pierce into his body, six to seven of the things, each between three and four meters long, at their base a meter wide.
Wind… a zanpakuto made of winds. Well, that is unfortunate, unfortunate indeed…
The creature in front of Jaeden and Honey continued his laughter as the Beastess' blades of wind cascaded around his body, a peculiar feeling likely passing back to Honey as the wind stopped around him. Where he was standing, the wind was blasted, buffeted backwards. His hand outstretched, as waves of wind began to curl and spin around his own body; and at last, he threw them outward. His fingers twitched, arms jerking and extending in impossible ways as wave after wave of the wind began to curl and fling itself out from his body. The compounding force began to build against Jaeden's gravitational exertion; and there, where Jaeden could feel it, the Doctor began moving again.
His body moved forward. Limbs extending and jutting this way, and that. Was he going after Jaeden? The girl? Was he even intending to attack? Who could tell? Disorientation rained as the Doctor's body reappeared before the two of them, the speed likely much faster than Honey's eyes could follow. The girl would not be able to tell what was happening as the Doctor's hand wrapped its digits around her throat once again, trying to get a grip on her body. Certainly, she could have fled; away from the one who had protected her, away from that which could guard her. But… why would she do that? That would be madness.
The fingers in the Doctor's other hand began opening themselves. His eyes were locked on Jaeden's, holding the woman in his hands. Those sparks began lighting themselves back up again, his hand drawing nearer to the girl's neck. He was waiting; waiting… and then, his eyes looked directly over at the one who had appeared, who was in hiding. Maybe he could see the Doctor's not-quite-eyes; maybe he was blocked from few.
Before Shin's gaze, those electric fingers wrapped around the girl's neck. Her skin popping and sparking, terrifying screams soon cut off by the sound of blood in her throat as her windpipe was crushed. That spiritual shocking sensation made her corpse jerk, and jerk; like the demon she was, he was torturing her body, making certain she would not be able to regenerate. Her limbs shook and jittered from the force of the spiritual decimation, until she was nothing more than a husk from her chest upward. There was no more screaming. There was no more twitching. The Shinigami's body fell to the ground at his feet.
And just like that, the vision faded. Honey, for her part, got to experience some phantom effects of the hallucination, probably making her heart race, as if she had just been on the very edge of death. The Doctor's form was still looking directly at Jaeden, waiting for him to make his next move. Those shocking fingers so close to the girl's neck. So very… close…
Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

Honey was visibly struggling to focus. The waves of madness pounded her skull and gradually got harder and harder, louder and louder, as she tried to keep her attention to her opponent. She was in shock as she watched her attack merely be stopped and blown away, her ears dipping as she groaned in defeat. This battle was feeling pretty one-sided, and the fact that her head was pounding did not help in the slightest. Her tail was bristled as she tried to ready another attack, releasing a strained yell as she rose her sword, but she suddenly hesitated when she saw something flash at the edge of her vision.
Rabbit? Deer? Elk?
Her mind suddenly popped the idea that prey had skittered by, the instinct to eat inappropriately kicking in, as her sword was partially raised to strike. She was caught unawares long enough for the beastly man to catch her, feeling his horrid fingers wrap around her neck one more. She stifled a scream, forced into struggling once more, as her mind strained to stay focus. Instincts bucked and kicked within her, most notably, the sensation to transform.
She felt her body burn and creak, but closed her eyes shut, screaming at herself mentally,
Don't transform, don't transform, don't transform!
Becoming a wolf here would be catastrophic for her allies, and thus most of her attention was on yelling at herself to stay stable, but in that turn her struggling against the man would cease, growling and snarling escaping from her throat as her mind tried and tried to fight against the madness. Her ear caught the crackle of electricity, her panicked eyes flying open to see a palm full of sparks advancing towards her head.
Her mind was hit with such a violent illusion, feeling the burning of her skin as the palm touched her, her nerves on fire, screaming escaping her fanged mouth, as she kicked and squirmed, but very soon.. She'd wake up, though it wasn't all that great. Having to deal with many things at once, fending off the madness in her mind, being choked by this man, and now the awful vision of death, phantom pains burning on her neck, her fingers twitching and tensing.
She coughed and sputtered, streaks of drool leaving the corners of her mouth as she whined and huffed, feeling lightheaded and sleepy. Despite being in such a state, she forced her body to not transform, but she wasn't sure how long she could keep her mind in check, especially with the oppressive and dizzying presence of the Doctor before her...

Captain of Naps
Jaeden Crow
It was successful at least at first. His Captain had arrived making matters more simple. But all of a sudden seven spikes came from the ground. three meters long as he jumped back. Barely avoiding the fatal injury though not entirely. His upper torso near his left shoulder had been punctured. He couldn't use bankai with this many people present. Not that his bankai was a solution to the situation either. Divine push would only destroy this city by and large. Slowly he exhaled a breath thinking to himself about this predicament. The regular cero didn't do much to his disdain it was rather ineffective. Seemed like this was going to take a lot more work. " Hey partner, I think it's about time we release our trump card."[i] He said within to his hollow who answered slowly. "Already huh, ya this guy isn't a pushover. It will be your first time using it in a while so make sure. Make sure you're ready for it. Jaeden nodded feeling his injuries carefully.
His eyes the traditional hollow like ones as he brought his hand to his blade. Giving a slash along his fingertip enough to cover it. Quickly a purple color covered the blade as the ground shuttered beneath it. Bits of earth going up and down almost as though an earthquake was happening. How many did he have in his tool belt was the question. He and his partner still had the wormholes to use here. His eyes looked towards the girl presently held by Hebi. Now choice but to bank everything on saving her. Jaeden's body glowed with reiatsu as he shot forward. Using his fastest step possible. His hand gripped hold of the hand which held the girl. Or went to do so though this was only a Ustusemi. The moment it was struck it would fall as he came from behind. Releasing a Grand Ray gravity slash at the arm itself now. Giving the distance some power as he cut away from where his hand had grabbed. Hoping to free the figure of Honey as well as disarm Hebi. He didn't know about the healing factor or if his plan had succeeded.
But if everything went as Jaeden hoped he would grab Honey and flash step twice rapidly away. With his zanpakuto held within his free hand now. Letting out an exhaling gasp as blood dripped down his frame. This had aggravated his injuries from previous fights. It had caused him some pain and discomfort, to say the least. Rescuing her had caused him to feel a sense of pain. Using that technique meant to be a trump card. Just to try and sever an arm to rescue a comrade. Jaeden didn't know how long she'd need to recover. But for now, he could protect her. "Oi, Captain you are gonna have to give her a few..I'm not sure how much damage was done being that close to him. " Setting her down Jaeden slowly prepared himself. He would have to be very careful about how he went forward. Bankai was an option, but they were too close to him. They'd be caught in the effect of its release. Such a troublesome thing his zanpakuto had always been.
So it was always him and his partner hollow doing a large majority of the work. Just because Jaeden couldn't exactly use his bankai freely. Not to mention the charge-up on Divine Push was extremely long. Too long to make a useful technique at this venture. Jaeden could only use a couple more techniques realistically speaking.
