Song: No Tomorrow - Word Count: N/A
Feeling the emotions which bled through the seal of Eris was all but child play for the likes of Mana as the twos bond strengthened from this interaction of mother and daughter. With that said, the sense of glee, happiness, and pleasure poured through her spirit as if she were a vessel of infantile ecstasy incarnate. So, upon seeing this sight of utter bliss, The Queen could do nothing more than give another smile as she seemed rather pleased with the turn of events that were taking place. All things had their phase, and with her guidance, she'd be a savage soon enough with enough love n' madness.
"Is that so? You don't recall your promise to serve the people of Demon World? Not even a teensy bit?"
While rubbing her chin, it was clear that Mana was intrigued by what Cali could and could not recall. Perhaps she may have hit her a bit too hard in the head, but it should clear up soon enough and The Queen was assured of that. That's ultimately why she posed that question out to her daughter as well. Twas a hunch, but she figured that important memories, phrases, words, events or whatever was close to her heart could continue to jog her memory until things were where they needed to be for her daughter and she wasn't a scatter-brained chuckle fuck. (Which, to be fair, was adorable, but not what they needed right now in the grand scheme of things.)
"Ya don't recall all these people ya wanted to help?"
With a wave of her fingers, Ol' Mana brought up a hologram of Demon World, it's people, the Asthavon Family, and most importantly, Algos herself. All these visages were meant to try and trigger her memory so that she could take all that she had subconsciously learned in this state to and apply it to further infuse herself with the strength of the seal. Though, for the time being, it was curious to see that she could still produce familiars and what not from her infantile powers
"As cute as that is: are ya sure ya can't focus to find more of that inner strength and memory within yourself, child? Are ya absolutely positive there is nothing else within you that needs to be summoned and brought forth into this world to have new life?"
With a single finger placed on her forehead, Mana let out a gentle sight and began attempting to slowly transmit some of her memories into the child's head. As, from the familiar bond they shared, it wasn't exactly outside of her scope of power to have her recollections of thoughts, feelings and experiences. She was the flesh of Mana and as such it would be potentially possible for her to transmit these memories back to her. And these would be things such as her name, birth, upbringing, family and things of that nature. She was careful not to overload her brain, but she wanted to continue to make progress in her development if they were truly going to get anywhere in this training session.

"My... Promise?"
The smile upon the little one's face suddenly vanished again once she was pushed into deep thought once again. Shreds of memory that correlated with that thought presented themselves, but they didn't make sense to her, so as she was about to dismiss it, her mother only pushed it further, prodding her with more words, and images. She only stared silently at such images, some broken urges and emotions being stirred from the depths of her mind as she watched, being stirred into unintentional tears by her mother's prodding of her subconsciousness.
The little one was in shock, and said shock was only further pushed as her mother placed a finger on her head, memory after memory being poured into her mind ever so slowly. Things connected. Thoughts rewove, emotions tied to such reconnections, and many other indescribable things happening within the child.
"..Oh.. That's right." The young one spoke softly as she stared ahead, glossy eyed, golden tears having streamed from her eyes copiously, "I wanted to get stronger.. To help people... And make them happy.. That's right, that's right..."
The little one muttered in thought, "..Because bad people hurt them.. I wanted everyone to be happy and live freely enough, so they didn't have to be scared of taking away the freeness..."
The young-minded demon seemed to whimper and wince for a second, bringing a hand to her head, "..Owow, my head hurts a bit, Mama.. But i'm OK.. It makes more sense.. I know what I wanted.."
She rolled onto her back to be able to face her mother properly, staring up at her with pained amber eyes, "How can I help people who need to be protected and loved, Mama? I feel like buggerflies and flowers won't be enough..."

Song: One Promise - Word Count: N/A
"As sweet as that may be: cryin' won't fix ya problems."
Ol' Mana wasn't going to beat the snot out of the child for crying about the memories coming back to her, but she was going to vocalize her disapproval of it since they were creatures who flourished in the heartache, chaos and madness of the world. Ergo, Ol' Mana could only shift her emerald gaze back down to Cali and further address her concerns:
"Dry ya' tears, s'ug. Ya' are gonna be pushed to hell n' back, so ya' gotta be stronger than that."
With a roll of her shoulder, The Queen then had an emerald tendril form from her back and move toward her daughter. However, unlike many of the times before, it wasn't done in an aggressive manner. Instead, it slowly came to her, wiped away those tears n' slithered back into the abyss which was the depths of Mana's body.
"Ask ya self this: are ya' willin' to fight for that power to bless those around ya' with ya power? Are ya' willin' to risk limb, spirit, mind n' life to keep such a hefty promise? Ya' ain't gotta put ya self on the doors of madness for such a grandiose goal, but ya' better recognize the tall order ya' desire if ya want to put ya heart on the line for such an ambition."
There was then a choice which needed to be made and Mana was gearing the child toward as her emerald gazes fixed itself to lock soley on Cali's eyes as she posed this choice to her:
"Ya can either choose to stay here in la la land with me, or go the route of strife, challenge n' pain to attain a satisfactory goal. I ain't gonna make 'dat choice for ya, but it's one ya' must be sure ya can keep."
And with that, the route of where this encounter was going to go from this point onward was in the hands of Cali. She could either chose to be in this blissful state of utter content with her mother; drinking from her bosom like a hungry infant clinging for warmth to its caretaker. Or, she could begin to unlock more of the foul secrets of this world, mend herself through pain, endure the madness and further unlock the potential within herself at the risk of possibly losing it all for her goals, dreams and ambitions and grasp a life worth being satisfied over.

Calypso sniffled gently as she felt her mother's gentle appendage wipe her copious, precious tears, hearing her advise her to be stronger than that. Though she was overwhelmed by the sudden flowing of emotion within her, she understood what her mother said, quickly overcoming the desire to cry, inhaling and exhaling. Something, be it instinct or a true voice, told her to tame her emotions, rather than have them take her where they wished. She was their master, not the other way around. She needed to be more, for the events to come.
The young one was now given two paths, laid out before her, neither of which she could change her mind on after entering. She could never turn back once she chose. Either stay and remain in indefinite joy and happiness, nothing but bliss and enjoyment, or choose the path of hardship and pain, in order to fulfill the promises she had made to... Fix... Everything...
Unlike what her current state would seemingly choose, Calypso knew, even in such a childish state, what she needed to do.
".. I can't stay and play around forever. That wouldn't help anyone but me.. And that... Isn't good."
She looked up, meeting her mother's gaze, despite her own being as soft as fresh chick down, "..I.. I want to fulfill what promises I wanted to do.. Even if the ambitiony stuff is going to hurt.. It won't hurt forever, and then it wouldn't just be me happy, everyone would be happy too..!"
She grasped her mother's arm softly, bringing it to rest against her head, "I wanna do the hard stuff, Mama. That's the thingies that sound right to me. What are we supposed to do so that I can do it right, Mama?"

Despite all of the tears which were spewed as a result of having to make such a difficult choice, Cali did indeed make one which could prove to be beneficial to not only herself but her family, nation, and world. So, if nothing else, it took a lot of balls n' moxy which Mana could respect given how hard the road ahead was going to be for this child. So, she gave her a pat on the shoulder, locked her gem green eyes on the sight of her daughter and decided to kick things forward with this simple statement to start smashing her into a world of pain to bring out that monstrous strength which was waiting to be unlocked within her:
"Aye, I'm proud of ya for decidin' to stick to ya balls. Don't regret it."
There was then a sly, shit-eating grin before Ol' Mana decided to cock her fist back and deliver a blow straight to the gut of Cali in order to start triggering her to utilize more of her maddening powers.
"Ya feel that pain in ya gut? Life is gonna deliver blow after blow to ya. Are ya' gonna let it beat the fuck out of ya, endure it or try n' fight back against ya fate?"
After licking her lips, Ol' Mana broke the distance between them by levitating fifty feet away from Cali and motioning for her to take pursuit:
"I love ya' n' all, but my enemies, your enemies n' those who want to fuck with our world don't give a diddly shit about an adorable face like yours. So tell me: are ya' gonna cry, or ya' gonna keep takin' the hard road even when it seems so maddeningly impossible ya wanna scream to the gods of this universe for mercy?"
With those words echoed out in the battlefield all around them, the skies ignited with a bright emerald flame as the shine of a white moon beckoned above. Indeed, she was now in the pit of hades itself and Ol' Mana was curious to see just how things were going to develop this time around. As, if nothing else, she was going to guide Cali through this fight. For the intention at this point was to not beat the shit out of her to improve her durability, but rather, get her in the state of mind to understand combat, bond with her powers and keep pushing more of that potential out.
"As if ya can withstand this, I'll make you into a demon worth fuckin' respecting, kiddo."

Caly had a light smile as she met eyes with her mother, hearing such validating words, that even her younger-feeling mind knew that she would have to earn more of moving forward.
"I won't regret it, Mama."
But soon after, she felt a blossoming of pain in her gut, releasing a pained squeak as she stumbled, looking up at her mother as she quickly put distance between them. Calypso refused to fall down, but boy was she hunched over from the pain, coughing wheezily as she stared up at her mother, hearing her words on how life would fuck her up all the harder if she wasn't prepared. Not many would spare a cute face as hers, and even how she was right now she could understand in what realm that made sense. She was given that forking question again, and she knew absolutely what to take.
Something lit a flame, a literal flame, purple energies of various hues erupting from her back, forming into those glorious butterfly wings once more, full of ever bubbling eyes and other indescribable shapes. And with that, she grasped a feeling, and suddenly she was shooting up into the sky, wings trailing behind her as if they had just took a mighty flap. Though she looked a bit unsteady, feet kicking about as she didn't expect to go so quickly, she soon settled into her speed, reared back a fist, and sought to sock her mother in the face.
"Hard road, and um, fight back harder!"

The mood of Mana shifted. In a matter of moments, a demented grin smeared itself across her face. For, when Cali tried to go in for a strike, dozens of tendrils erupted from the ground in order to pierce her body. They aimed for her head, heart, hands, shoulders; everything that made the little bundle of joy what she was. As life was not a forgiving mistress in even the slightest, and The Mad Queen wasn't going to baby her now that she was in her own maddening hell.
"Do ya' feel 'dat pain? Are ya' still so sure about 'dat decision, dearie?"
With a single roll of the finger, Ol' Mana decided to let loose a flurry of energy attacks meant to condense themselves into a wall of boiling hot demonic energy. As, if Cali was still trying to straight-up attack her, she'd burn herself to quite the sickening degree. Scarpes, bruises, burns and the all whole nine yards would riddle her body until she was screaming out in pain if she didn't relent or figure out a way around it.
"'Cuz I haven't even done anythin' super amazin', n' yanno there is a whole universe of potential possibilities which could fuck ya whole world up in battle. Does it scare ya'? Are ya' so sure of ya self?"
In a matter of moments, the woman decided to then start having the seal emit a jolt of random pain which erupted in the middlemost part of her gut. Again and again, it would light up in a burst of emerald green light; sending shockwaves of electric torment down her body until it eventually relaxed and faded after five or so shocks.
"An opponent could seal your powers, cast a spell on ya' to believe all sorts of wicked illusions, mend reality and space to crush you or just outright swing his big dick with his fucktarded strength to decimate you n' the entire town around it. Da' hell ya gonna do? What resources are ya' gonna pull out of ya ass? Tell me: how can a lil' sweet tart like ya self keep their sanity in a fucked world like this?"

Some instinct immediately yelled at her to back off, the second her eyes caught the birth of tendrils from her mother's gut. But rather than simply flying back, the young one dropped like a rock. A very heavy rock, to a certain distance her mind felt safe, and suddenly the little one was floating again, panting as she narrowly avoided dropping all the way down into the abyss. Her flaming purple wings, which brightly contrasted the rain of emerald, remained and gently flapped as Calypso realized how narrowly she avoided that first attack; Some tendrils definitely snagged her, streaks of blue coming from her cheek, shoulders, legs, and chest, but thankfully it wasn't long enough that she was utterly pierced.
Mama was being very serious about this path, the little one understood. She had to be careful, but she needed to be able to attack her back, right? How could she do that without getting hurt...?
Her amber eyes widened as she saw a rain of emerald energy, which definitely looked like bad news, compelling her to quickly move out of the way as she tried to think, think, think..
"I..! I can- AAAUGH!"
Calypso felt a sudden, horrible burning in her gut-area as Mana induced pain in the little one, her body convulsing and squirming mid air as she hugged the area that hurt so terribly, feeling the throb of her seal as she coughed up that familiar bright blue liquid, body shuddering from the pain as she inhaled and exhaled excruciatingly, the edges of her vision darkening as her body sank slowly, like a balloon losing it's helium.
How can I keep my sanity in a world like this?
The question was dropped to her mind as she experienced suffering once more, deep breathing taking her mind as she thought, and relaxed. She had a thought, as to how to answer this.
Suddenly the little one was shooting her body into the wall of burning green energy, at first wishing to scream being exposed to it, but soon this would stop.
Seal my powers, cast a spell, crush me, or destroy me... Well I just.. Have to...
Tendrils formed from her body as she flew towards her mother, tensed up as suddenly the green energy around her began being converted into a bright purple field around the girl. She forced her will onto this energy around her, grabbing it, taking it, wishing it to be her's, and taking a portion of it with her to protect her, and soon..
Take it, and...
Suddenly she burst from the other side, body covered in burns, however the energy she had taken for herself had wrapped around her tendrils, who then went to lead a brutal attack onto her mother.
"..MAKE IT MY OWN!"
If not retaliated or dodged, Mana would be struck with tendrils covered in burning hot energy, despite having a smaller surface area than her wave of boiling energy, Calypso had condensed and empowered it into being twice as strong a burn, using her tendrils as a means of transferring it.

Explosion after explosion ripped out in the landscape around them. Being that each of them yielded great supernatural power, the movements of speed at which these demons moved at held supersonic booms that roared and disturbed the heavens themselves as mother and daughter clashed against one another. If nothing else, her daughter was determined to walk down the path of madness, dismay, hurt and total hell to attain that which was her foul dream and desire. Thus, she needed to continue to engage and serve as the cataclysm to further push her power into the monstrous devil she truly was.
"Ya' plan to make the pain ya own? Ya wanna take that which gives you torment into a strength? Well, aren't ya' just the noble one, eh?"
Ol' Mana could only give a cold cackle as a raspy chuckle exited her dead lips. If nothing else, it amused her to see her daughter begin to start thinking on her feet in order to otherwise anticipate what might come from an opponent whose will could alter the depths of reality itself. So, in light of this, The Queen closed her eyes and allowed her daughter to move as she pleased. She could make any move she desired, but then it would be met with the sudden release of a dozen tendrils which met her blow for blow.
Indeed, as these two forces of power collided against one another, a small hole in the ground opened and expanded for half a city block. With electricity, fire, debris, and wind spreading in all directions; the collision of these demonic power snarled against the landscape as the sounds of children groaning echoed from out of the appendages which protected The Mad Ruler. Oh, it most certainly burned and she could feel the pain of going headfirst with such a direct attack, but Mana was one to otherwise fuck with the pain and find pleasure in it. If she were to totally not get her hands dirty, it would be such a bore even if the battle was totally stacked in her favor.
"And what will you do when you give ya' best effort n' ya still struggle against ya important? Will ya stop? Will ya cry? Will ya keep pushin'? Will ya go wrong? Da' fuck are ya' gonna do, s'ugah?"
Ol' Mana could only tilt her head out of amusement as the two stood in this inferno of destruction as her grin shifted into a scowl. It was as if the woman was dancing between the hall of anger and the embrace of manic glee. Were her own emotions going? What was burning within her own soul? Was it affection, or did she just desire another weapon in her arsenal? Things were hazy for all, but there was still an honest intent to mold this child into something more than the miserable pathetic mess she arrived as, so there was nothing to do to carry on even if it was out of her own selfish greed.
"Tell me: WHAT THE FUCK ARE YA' GONNA DO WHEN NO ONE IS THERE TO SAVE YA, CHILD?!"
With one huge grin and laugh, Ol' Mana's horns than produced a sudden collection of demonic energy and shot forth a burst of energy meant to otherwise flatten and pulverize the child into a burnt mess of bruises, broken bones, deafened vision, and pain. Of course, she could fight against it, but at some point, she was going to need the seal's power to figure out how to traverse this brute power and reach a way to harm The Queen's obnoxious strength.
The hell could she do?

Caly was smart enough to quickly retract her tendrils as she dealt the blow, though she couldn't do a similar dropping like a rock move, for the sky was literally on fire, the ground beneath them being torn asunder. Instead, as she willed it, her body was suddenly flung backwards, away from the retaliating tendril's advances. Though she was snagged once more, it wasn't nearly as bad as the first time. Working on her reaction time would be real bloody important for this little one's crazy flight patterns, and of course controlling how her body was moving, which had accidentally flipped backwards as she suddenly careened away from her mother, the little one clumsily trying to get steady again on her feet pointing down, panting and waving her arms.
It hurt, real bad, but she felt good. She felt real good, like she could push through, despite her mother's present mania being overpowering. Her mother's yells and taunts, she knew that they come from a place of caring and wishing for her child to grow; her current state let her have the clarity of mind to think the better of the woman, and to have faith that even if this path was hard, she wanted her spawn to come out the other side. Even if it got really scary..
Calypso Asthavon had to survive.
And thus, when her mother yelled her question, the young one went completely with a feeling; She had a good goddamn feeling of what was to come, and she tuned with her own mind, to be creative. Create. Create a way to survive this.
It was done.
Crystals shredded from her wings rapidly formed in front of Calypso in a flower-like pattern, and then suddenly tore open what appeared to be existence itself, a portal of nonsensical darkness proceeded to rip open in front of the girl, and utterly swallow the burst of energy. However, this did not stop, or destroy it. No no..
Several more crystals formed at a different angle, right below the mad queen, and suddenly tore open again, loosing the shot unto her, instead of the child who created such a bizarre formation of power. She wanted to survive, she wanted the beam to not hit her, and thus the madness in her soul, and her seal, morphed her power to make her deep wish come true.
"Save... MYSELF!"
