What is RPH?
Role Play Haven is a chat dedicated to all kinds of RP, from anime, to adult, to realistic, although generally anime is the predominant community on this site. Established a couple years ago, the chat has quickly grown to accomodate hundreds of RPers of all types. Recently, the number of RPers logged on has exceeded 400. In RPH, you can create your own chatrooms, PM people, join RP groups, and interact with a great community of RPers. Usually there should at least be a few characters that are to your liking. (Yes, Tsubine. That includs Gundam goodness.)
The community
The community is composed of hundreds of RPers, some strictly clean, some stricly dirty, all usually having a set of OOC guidelines so that others understand their likes and preferences. Generally, most RPers can post Para+, and are fair and balanced. Here you'll find characters from all kinds of canons, as well as a good amount of OC's. I will be honest, RPH also has its share of icky and bullshit characters, but they are insignificant, compared to the general lot of people online. One this for sure, is that RPH is FAR better maintained compared to RPC.
The Groups:
RPH has a great number of groups in which you can join in. Each group usually is established in a certain canonical or original world, in which members create characters from said canon, and RP together. Odds are there is at least a singel group that will be to your liking. Take for example, the Sengoku Basara group. A group that has been running strong, with a large set of members, and common group RP's. There is also a Touhou group, Hetalia group, and Jump! group, just to name a few.
Make your profile:
RPH allows you to create a profile for your character, in which you can put in all the necessary content, as well as images, to explain to others what your character is like, as well as what you are seeking, via an OOC section.There is no limit to how many characters you can make, so long as you are online often enough. Profiles support HTML and CSS coding. If you are maladroit in either, no worries, as there is a group known as Aurabelle Explains it All, which contains pre designed profile templates, as well as useful tips on coding, as well as establishing RPs in this site.
What to expect: There is a great amount of people online, usually, so it shouldn't be difficult to find another character that suits your preferences. Most people on here are friendly, and willing to initiate an RP with them. Although it does have its share of shitty RPers, they are quite scarce, and not to be worried about. Both me and Natsuki Kins are on here, and are having quite some fun communicating with the people online.
