Kindred Souls

"Alone? Never. I am loved, even if I do not feel it. Even if I do not see it. I find comfort in that. Long ago, I was alone. But Gotei has given me family, and such a thing is unpayable."

He would reply with genuine emotions, his voice firm as a smile came onto his lips. He'd lift a hand to her cheek giving it a soft feel, before that smile became a grin filled with all the jubilation only a man like him could have. He was like a bastion of warmth, unable to be deterred in his happiness. That being said a woman pressing against him always caused the viking's mind to go to the gutter.

"I came truthfully, so that we could fight in the future. I am a viking, we known to be good at three things. I am always happy to give demonstration on all three." The man would offer a wink towards her, whatever he was implying was certainly not appropriate but hey it was Arkin. He was someone who lived viscerally in the moment, seeking to immerse himself in the pleasures of life. He wasn't restricted by duty, station, or belief simply acting with what he thought nice. So with her leaning on him he'd tilt his head slightly, glowing blue eyes offering an exciting time should she so wish.

"I am a mere man, after all."
