Need to pray for that good luck.

That thought crossed his mind when he reached Osaka, Japan. While Karakura City had shrines of their own, Touma felt that the effects would somehow be more genuine and effective if he went outside of a technologically-advanced town. Supernatural powers do exist in this world but he wishes to believe that if he tried his luck somehow in Osaka, maybe the quality of his life would improve somewhat.

However, things never seem to go his way.

He initially planned for head to Osaka early in the morning but his clock didn't go off. Nevermind being late, on his way to catch a ride on a bus to the train station, the bus driver decided to ditch him there to wait even longer for the next ride. When the next ride came and he had decided to take a nap in it until he reaches the station, he had realized that he dropped his wallet and had to chase the bus down until he could retrieve it back.

One bad luck after another, Touma couldn't help but cry for himself when he already had to go through massive amount of pain just to go somewhere as simple as Osaka.

If his luck doesn't improve after suffering so much going to Osaka, he's definitely coming back to curse at the shrines that he went to.

Why are you in such a rush? Why not enjoy the scenery?

"Hey, I enjoy good scenery--I'm just a fan of something grander than a man-made shrine."

Just enjoy it. Also, get a good luck charm for me, I'm hungry, and good luck charms usually have some thought put into them.

Micaiah rolled her eyes at Maujuda's request but abided anyways. The girl walked through the massive red gate, though she felt some resistance and tugging at her hip going through, as if the gate was trying to ward off the sword and gourd at her side. Probably because they're demon articles, and this is a shrine. Ultimately, she ignored the resistance and powered through since the resistance wasn't anywhere close to enough to completely impede her moving forward. With some time, she made it to one of the shops of the shrine and purchased a good luck charm. Micaiah tacked the charm onto the sheathe of her blade like it was an adhesive, and eventually the paper dissolved away.

Yum, yum!

"Gross. Okay, what else is there?"

"Hmm? Is that a cosplayer or something?"

Arriving to the closest shrine he could find near the station, there was someone in particular that caught his attention. Sheathed or not, that sword on her hip was going to attract some looks one way or another and even Touma was already staring at her sword with a blank look on his face when he saw her walk through the massive red gate.

He couldn't tell if he should be surprised at the sight of seeing people walking out and about with giant swords on their waist anymore. Still, Touma kept his silence regardless, following right behind her through the shrine gate once she had passed through it.

Crack, crack, shatter.

"Oh sh-"

Shocked at the fact that he had forgotten that his right hand possesses a certain power, reacting to whatever protection that was placed at the shrine gate was effectively negated to a million pieces and was equal to shouting towards everyone who had any spiritual powers in the area that someone had destroyed the shrine's divine protection.

At this point, he was practically sweating bullets as his eyes glanced over to his right hand and looked around the shrine, hoping that there wasn't anyone who noticed that before Touma took a sprint of his life towards the furthest possible shop away from the gate - away from the scene of the crime.

That probably made him even more suspicious.

"I'm just here for the charm, damnit! Curse this right hand!!"
