He'd arrived here in this place for a joint operation mission. It was to hunt some hollows that were close to a Quincy City or something. Not his job to know the details only that the Shinigami wanted it done. Tatsuya wasn't a member of the Gotei or anything really. But he was tough and some shinigami guy pawned it off on him. Mostly to avoid going to the freezing place on the earth. It was cold but not really that bad to be truthful. Tatsuya's internal temperature is similar to a volcano. Making it rather easy to withstand these grueling temperatures put out to him. Snowflakes hit his armor he wore and some touched his skin hissing almost instantly. As they felt the heat from his body. He itched the back of his head glancing around. This was the place he was going to meet the person or so the note said. Though this entire damn place was nice and everything, so standing out in the middle of a white wasteland is rather easy. Tatsuya didn't remember agreeing to do this for any real reason. He only went here because he'd not met a Quincy yet. So the idea was interesting to him.
It was a strange thing for hollows to come to this location. He wondered what kind they were to be out this far. Did the weather conditions not affect them, it was a rather curious idea. But none the less it would require some form of performance to continue on his duties here. While he didn't join the Gotei or decide such was worthwhile. Tatsuya didn't envision such for him at the moment. He was just a man who lived out in the sticks. He didn't do politics or games of those natures. He didn't feel a need to shiver in the cold or dress differently. He was told it was a combat detail and dressed accordingly. Stand at six feet and two inches tall, a mountain of muscles with scars. Tatsuya's amber gaze shifted around as he took in the place. How much of this land had froze creating such a strange place to live. Ironic the Quincy set home up here though. They avoided people now and especially his kind. Though given what happened couldn't really blame them.
The only thing left to do was to wait on the representative or whoever got stuck with this hunting job.

Yoko hated this particular location that mother earth had shitted out. It was too cold for anyone to truly be here, and do some stupid hollow hunting. Sure she was bundled up, and ready to go, but it was too damn cold. She could feel the rush of coldness passing by her cheeks, and the wind carried her hair with it, as it blew ever so violently before the wind stopped being a pest. This ice cold wasteland would be the last thing she will step on for a very long time. she doesn't care how much she will get out of this. So long as she hurries up, and get the job done before Yoko ends up with a frostbite. She was said to meet with a Shinigami to do this mission. She never met a Shinigami before, and only heard about them through text books that she studied when she was a little kid.
Hollows seem to not care about how hot or how cold the temperature is, because well it's simple. They're just walking mindless dumb creatures. They don't care whether it's nice and warm or if it's cold or wet. All they care about is eating how much they can eat until something magical happens, or until someone puts them out of their misery. It was the two's job to put these hollows in their place. And speaking of two. Yoko began to have a clear vision as to who the number two person that would be. He seemed to be standing there, and waiting. The man that will be Yoko’s partner won't wait for too long, as she was only a few feet away from him.
“Your representative has arrived. Did I take long?” She announces, revealing her confident, and boastful like nature.

His eyes opened as he looked at the female. Slowly a pressure of heat-expanded outwards including her in the area. This was a gesture of kindness as he brought her area to about a comfortable room temperature. He didn't really mind moving his reiatsu like this slightly. "No, merely wondering why hollows couldn't pick Fuji or someplace tropical to be killed." He said offering a joke to their situation as he glanced around a bit. "If you want I can move my reiatsu back, thought you might be cold.." Tatsuya didn't really get cold due to the whole volcano man thing. He could bath in volcanic lava and feel relaxed. But that wasn't exactly ideal here. As melting this place too much would be an issue. Warming up one Quincy next to him wasn't much of an issue. The problem was going overboard with it as he glanced around the place. He didn't really sense much in the area as of yet. But was pretty sure they were further north hollow wise. Sensory hadn't ever been his strong point.
But he could detect bloodlust pretty well and that seemed more potent in that direction. Hollows weren't all masterful hiders of it. They ate and killed people so it wasn't as though this little trip would do much beyond that. They'd destroy whatever they encountered and that would be the story. He had almost forgotten to introduce himself before this little hunt for the hollow munchers came. "I'm Tatsuya by the way, Tatsuya Oda" He wasn't sure what it mattered really in terms of names. He was sent here to turn some Hollows into ash. But he was very curious about the skill set of this one. She was interesting and that certainly lends itself to some interesting possibilities. Tatsuya figured he would play defense and let her attack. Or at least get an idea of her skills overall. The question would be how capable was she in terms of fighting these creatures. Sensing their pressure did help unless they had a form of camouflage to fight with.
But the snowstorm waged and he decided to let her take the lead on it. Tatsuya could of lead if need be, but this was the Arctic and he wasn't really familiar with this frozen shit stain on the earth.

She had sensed some heat temperature increasing around her vicinity as she approached the Shinigami standing before her. She had most of her face covered with her right hand blocking the sheer cold wind that was being pushed her way, and a scarf around her neck that kept her warm. She didn't completely notice that odd presence of heat when she came into speaking distance to the Shinigami. ”It gotten awfully warm all of a sudden -- you feel it too right?” she questioned as to why it had gotten warmer all of a sudden, and was unaware if it's the Shinigamis abilities that is doing it. If that was the case she would kindly thank him for the dire need of heat in this hellish freezing cold.
She would advise him to save the rest of his energy for squashing the small fries that are known as hollows. Despite how tall they're. They're weak compared to her, and with the combined power, and effort with the Shinigami. The two would be an unstoppable force of nature, but she can't be relying on a mere Shinigami as she can do this by herself. If it was in a better weather condition of course. The Shinigami mentioned the choice in region that the hollows should have preferred, in which she would agree on. However since they're not living beings it's rather irrelevant to determine their choice of feeding ground. They gotta eat one way or another. He had also mentioned moving his Reiatsu back, and thought she was getting cold.
”You're awfully kind towards someone you never met. I would suggest not being too kind or it’ll get you killed; as if you're not dead already” she finished off with a joke. It was no wonder that it was the Shinigami that was radiating heat via his Reiatsu. A neat ability she can admit, but she doesn't need it since they will eventually be more focused in killing off hollows rather than being concerned about the weather. She meant business. The Shinigami decided to share his name, and she would of course do the same. ”My name is Yoko Kumori -- now enough of the chatter, and let's go find some hollows to kill!” She cheered, as she marched towards the direction in which the two would sense hollows.

He smiled at the question of it getting warm all of a sudden. It didn't really feel cold to him due to his internal body heat being so high. Cold weather was just not something that could really bug him. Volcanos could survive in these sort of things so could he in an essence. But enough about him it was on to her as he merely listened to her. Kind of him, this wasn't much he was doing but he merely nodded. Tatsuya got her name and made sure to memorize it. As he began moving forward through the snow it melted around him. Her temperature was a bit more normalized for her. His on the other hand for things like this was rather high as snowflakes hissed turning into water against his skin and hair. His amber eyes studied the area a few buildings it seemed to be abandoned on the ice. The area did seem quite enough as he glanced around the snow. He sniffed the air for a moment taking in the smells and area. His senses were a bit sharper than most peoples. No mistaking the smell from here, it was blood for sure.
Death also not too far in the distance as he glanced around at the snow mounds thinking about something. They were using stealth, the number of them was rather high. Had there been an experiment of some sort, he couldn't figure out what they looked like. "Careful, they are under the snow I'll flush them out. You go ahead and shoot them or pick them off." He unsheathed his sword in one fluid movement before walking towards the place. Covered in snow and what not he guessed the quickest way was going to be to just melt everything. His amber gaze settled looking at the place before dripping off his body it began. Hitting the snow was lava as though generated through his reishi. Snow began retreating from the heat as he walked through making a path towards the center. They were moving around in the snow trying to hide from being seen. Ironic though that it meant little to nothing as he got to a position he considered enough. He released a burst of his spiritual pressure blasting the snow away revealing the ugly beasts.
Their heads had masks but their bodies resembled those of spiders as his eyes gazed at them. These weren't the main thing, were they? Not enough blood on them to back that smell. He made out around fifty or so as he brought his sword up to rest on his shoulder. He watched as they seemed keen on observing him as he revealed them. In combat tactics, they'd decided to focus him rather early in this confrontation. The building's around the area would make a rather excellent hiding place for something big and nasty. But for now, it was time for Momo's skills to shine. Fifty spider baby hollows for her to use as target process what more could a girl ask for.

Yoko had pressed forward as Tatsuya began to scout around the Arctic waste. She can hear the sound of crunching beneath her shoes, as she walked amongst the snow. Or rather the frozen snow that was beneath her. Once Tatsuya confirmed the whereabouts of these hollows. Yoko would extend her right arm, past her left as she would begin to summon her spirit weapon. Her spirit weapon took up the form of a sniper rifle rather than a normal Quincy bow. Her finger on her left hand would be holding the trigger, as she knelt down. Good thing it wasn't snowing too bad like a raging blizzard, or It would be like shooting something you can't even see. For a normal human that is. As she knelt on her left knee. She would begin to place her left eye into the scope of her sniper, and began to check to see any heads will poke out that she can shoot off with precise aiming.
Yoko would be Tatsuyas eyes as she was a safe distance. She would focus her scope on Tatsuya, while it may seem like she is about to shoot him. She just want to keep an eye out for him. Her right hand was placed below the rifle so she can have a better grip on it. She can see the lava dripping from him, as the snow around him would begin to melt. Yoko felt more curious as to what he's capable of. Maybe if she were to be lucky. She will be able to get to see his shikai, but she doubts that he will have a hard time dealing with low level hollows. It's not like they were dealing with arrancars so she doesn't have anything to worry about. She suddenly stopped focusing on him with her scope as she saw something moving away from where Tatsuya was. She saw a head poke out, when he released a burst of spiritual pressure that made the hollows scatter around.
Yoko began to focus, and take aim. Reducing the sway from the sniper by holding her breath. While doing this, she took in enough reishi from the surrounding areas into her sniper, before performing a single shot. Once she locked onto her pray, she began to fire a good amount of energy from her sniper. The energy that was shot could be measured in diameter, about the same size as a hollows cero, but the impact would prove greatly. Upon hitting the hollow with her shot, the blast radius would be enough for the ground to shake just a tad bit. Enough for the pebbles on the ground to move out of its place for a fraction of a second. The blast radius was around 30 meters wide. Enough to wipe out at least 20 of the spider like hollows she had seen. While only focusing on a single hollow, specifically the mask of the hollow. These spiders were in the way of the blast radius, and was evidently caught in it.
She can feel the drop of sweat coming from her right cheek. She began to take a breather after holding her breath, after taking the shot. ”Disgusting little vermins” she says under her breath.

He whistled remaining still as he watched twenty of the buggers get hit. She was an excellent shot that much was for sure. Tatsuya slowly raised his sword aiming the tip towards some. A massive explosion of Magma burst out turning them into slag. The lava burned through the sand searing to the ice as it cracked a bit beneath the ground. Tatsuya's blade dripped the hot magma down it as he glanced around for the last twenty of them out here. He turned his gaze towards the building now as he walked towards it slowly. Stepping as they began popping out of the ground more trying to stop them. But they may have forgotten a rather important sniper in the wings. Tatsuya wasn't going to just let off whatever made these things. Death smelled stronger in the building as he walked towards the entrance. He considered it carefully standing in the doorway letting her handle the remaining group of them. They began surging towards her trying to give them a chance to attack him from behind. Though he trusted his fellow exterminator to kill them all. They went through the snow as though on a motor surfing through it quickly s though a boat through the water.
For the moment they were hers to defeat as they emerged with eight legs and teeth. The little spiders were trying to close that distance quickly towards her. The question was did they chose the right direction or not? She'd expertly hidden and chosen an ideal snipping location. Brainless hollows like these didn't always guess the location right. Tatsuya decided it was about time Mommy came out to play. Pointing his sword towards the doorway he stopped for a moment. Hesitating as he thought about something rather annoying. Tatsuya was going to flood it with Lava but a thought stopped him. Could people be alive in here needing rescue from this creature? From becoming what these little annoying things were. Tatsuya turned around sighing softly running a hand through his hair. Catching one that jumped at him his eyes turning cold as he gripped it's a mask. "Do you speak? Or are you so deprived of thinking that words escape you?" His grip began to tighten on its mask cracks forming. Tatsuya was known for something rather infamously.
His brutal strength as he heard no response but clicking noises of a sort. Distress call of sorts to summon more from below perhaps. "Momo, we will have to go in deeper. Chance they could have taken fresh people down into the building's depths." Tatsuya said out loud for her when she was ready to give him an answer. It would have been so easy for him to flood this place with lava. To destroy it but the thought of human lives or people being down there. Drained of their spiritual energy or even other things. That would be an issue, something he couldn't figure on. But what laid below wasn't something he could sense. Death was clear, but they likely had more down there. So flooding the place burning everything to death wasn't an option. How many floors down was this place they called a nest? Had they burrowed deep into the ground in order to hunt free of danger?
These were things he and Momo would discover on this trip. Hopefully, she would rely on him and he could her more in-depth. But for now, this would be a journey to hunt down and kill the creature below.

Yoko got up from her knees after firing one shot from her sniper that sent the hollows ablaze. Unlike real creatures where one would see chunks of meat, and flesh tearing off as it would take the impact of a shot. They would have looked like a wasted hamburger, fallen to the floor. However these hollows simply dispersed from existence, like a human going through a ghost. They simply lost shape, and vanished without a trace. Yoko eyed Tatsuya who seemed to be weaving around his sword that was oozing out lava, not paying attention that they're surrounded by ice. However she was certain that they're not walking on frozen water, which was a relief once she imagined it. If they were to be fighting on frozen water, once the cracks begin to appear, because of the lava. The two would be in for a treat.
Yoko moved up while Tatsuya was moving forward at a steady pace, however with the annoying wind blowing it felt like it was a blizzard outside to her. As she kept covering her right arm half way towards her face, to block the wind from bothering her. She could see a building up a head, while Tatsuya pressed onwards to where it could be the source to where these things are coming from. As she gotten a better view of the wretched building that looked abandoned, as most of the structure was froze off, because of the weather here. This was the ideal place for hollows to harvest. Before she could move in, their were a few that popped from the ground. Startled by the sudden abruption. She quickly ready herself, but before she could take the aim the hollow like spiders attempted to strike her with their stick like legs from above. However with her sharp reflexes she easily dodged them, by pushing her feet backwards, and sliding across the icy ground. She would then again took aim, and fired at them. The blast sent her back a few inches, but stomped both of her feet onto the ground in order to stop the momentum.
”Honestly does he think that I have to be the only one dealing with these things” yoko complained, as she ran in order to catch up with him. After catching up with him, she heard him mentioned about them wanting to go deeper inside the building. ”How can their still be humans in this mess? I swear your kindness will get us both killed; I happen to have been thinking about working on this new technique I recently thought about. Perfect for stuff like this, although I never tried it before." Yoko questioned, as she gave little regard if their were to be survivors or not. She thought that it would be best to put them out of their misery, as the two share different views.

Tatsuya stood and glanced downward, she brought up an excellent point. What conditions were those below in at the moment? He wasn't a doctor and this wasn't exactly a place for pickups. He closed his eyes standing and gave a shrug as he couldn't really give her a reason not too. It was her choice he would merely ensure they died painlessly afterward. Unless her move could perform such he was ready to do so. She wasn't the righteous sort that was clear it seemed. He'd fought and done things like this before where people were just gone. It wasn't an easy task for anyone to acknowledge. That a hollow like this existed and something occurred to him. What if the humans were used as egg laying in a way. "The risk is great, go ahead and try it. I will burn whatever remains into slag." Tatsuya wasn't really going to exercise his power here completely. This place was ice and lava didn't go well in that regard. But he had other powers he could have been executed as well. Volcanos were far more than just lava, it just worked the best.
His eyes stared down the stairs looking through the room as he wondered how much would be needed. What requirement would he need to meet in order to turn it into a magma pit? Would that be safe to do in this case as he glanced around the area? This was all going to be very complicated and require a tremendous amount of effort he surmised. Depending on the technique the girl chose to exercise here. Momo would hopefully kill the people quickly below. Lava wasn't the answer this time and he knew what had to be done. He brought his sword forward as a heat appeared on the tip. It wasn't lava this time but a superheated gas that began to swirl around the edge. He was going to release a heat similar to that of the volcanic eruption from Herculaneum. This would vaporize those inside including the hollow from the sheer heat. The gas would move at a speed of four hundred and fifty miles an hour through that building. Burning the inside clean as though sweeping it.
But this wouldn't happen, not yet as it was her attempt to kill them. He maintained that gas for now as he waited to see what happened. It was best for her to exercise her powers here. He'd been told about Momo, that she was young and a bit newer in his reports. So it was his job to kind of observe her and make the most of what he had. He was more than capable of killing those fifty hollows. This was her show to take and it was why he didn't protest her ideas either. Her superiors would know how it went. That was all that really mattered in this situation set before them. Clean up this spider hollow while it nested below he guessed. His eyes were tired as he brought his sword to rest on his shoulder. Tatsuya was known as the Volcano Shinigami to his friends. Because his zanpakuto embodied what that was in all of its facets. This included gases and even cooled lava. But Momo's new technique would be interesting to see he imagined. It would be worthwhile to witness whatever she did.
"All set, give it a try."

Yoko began to measure the perimeter of the building that they were in. It was of decent size, and structure. It looked like it could house a few people, and create some sort of fort. A temporary base to be exact. The hallways appeared to be tight, and can get tighter depending on the path an individual would take. No less than two people side by side can maneuver within the halls. It's those type of hallways. She wasn't sure if the technique that she thought up, would blow up the building all together. At least it will clean out the hollows that made it their feeding ground. It would also crumble, and would make escaping difficult, because of the falling debri. That's how she imagine her new thought up technique. The resulting damage if she pulled a full power shot in one go.
She had spotted something shiny, which was located on top of the rubble, and in between the cracks. As Tatsuya used his ability, Yoko would evidently check out what was glowing. Jumping on top of the debris with little effort, she had found a bullet, after bending over to pick it up with her two fingers. Why would a human try to waste their time shooting at something I doubt it works? It turns out the the bullet was infused with spiritual energy, but what would she need a bullet for? Yoko tossed it to the side, and jumped off of the rubble. Yoko was ready to try out this technique of hers, as she manifested her spirit weapon into her right hand. She would focus her aim down the hall, in which the hollows where located. She would try to attempt to decrease the size of her attack, and make it appear more of like a beam being shot from a laser cannon. In order to conserve energy.
As she would imagine these things she began to take a few deep breaths. Still standing up, and looking into her scope with her left eye. Collecting the remaining energy from within the building. Once she was ready she would begin firing a cylinder shaped, red colored power that was generated from within the sniper. This attack would easily fit through the hallways, and didn't appear to make contact with the walls. However it had almost made contact with Tatsuyas clothes, as she was a inch away from hurting him. Fortunate for him, it was only a slight burn mark that would appear. She can see the explosion go off that would shake the building. A pebble fell on her head, but a scream that sounded human came from down the hall. Whether they had died from the attack, or came screaming, and dodged from a near death experience. There was only one way to find out.
