Jumping Conclusions [Cali/Hitsuyona]

Calypso Asthavon
Calypso was in a rather strange spot for the day; she had come by Karakura for a simple purpose; she wanted her curiosity satisfied. She had heard there was some sort of barrier around the city, and because of that she stayed away, never stepping foot in the place, since it kept out demons and arrancar alike. She had more nerve, and wanted to test how good it was, and the minimum amount of restraint she needed to get through.
She knew the thing was invisible, so as she approached a part where she hoped nobody would see her, she stretched out two hands, slowly walking towards the first set of buildings, preparing for any jolts of pain, and sure enough she felt something rather shocking, or was it burning? She couldn't tell, just that it hurt, and boy was her flesh not happy about it, as her hands recoiled they deformed into black bristled masses with all manners of golden eyes, hissing and spitting noises abound from the pain, though she willed them to become normal.
"Ouch.." She was lucky she wasn't a weakling, that could have done more damage if she wasn't careful... She sat down, staring off at where she was certain it was. It probably sensed energy or something, and acted accordingly, and thus, Calypso quite metaphorically sucked in her gut; suppressing some of her energy, which was rather sickening, considering she wasn't too used to the action. Single finger forth and she was struck with pain, however it wasn't as terribly bad before.
She proceeded with this action, bit by bit, poking at it, testing it's limits, quite out in the open and it would be rather bad if someone saw her...

The patience of those who found themselves within the patrol corps of the Onmitsukido seemed to elude Hitsuyona. Missions of this manner always brought about ungodly amounts of boredom and idle thought to the soul as he makes many a carefully placed step throughout the borderlines of the forests surrounding Karakura. It had been hours with no signs of life at this point, and Hitsuyona began to wish that his shift would come to seem less end soon enough. Signs of such hope came to a spiraling end at the appearance of the fluttering butterfly accompanying his presence though, his hands eagerly reaching outwards in awe of what might have occurred amidst this sequence of silence that lay before him.
‘A presence along the border? But it didn’t invade?’ The Shinigami lightly scoffs assuming it was the result of low demons running across the barrier much in a manner similar to moths chasing the ‘pretty light’ zapper. In either case, it was his job to see such with his own eyes to report back in that it was just another simple day along the borders of the town. And thus, with great haste hitsuyona took many a Flash Step at carefully placed intervals anxious to call it a day. It wasn’t until he neared the area of questioning that he let a very inward sigh of sorts, before allowing himself to rest silently along the branch of a distant tree limb. ‘The demon is playing with the barrier like it’s a toy.’
His day just couldn’t come to a simple end in this case, and so his left arm recedes into his shihakshou to retrieve his Katar that now remained concealed within his sleeve. He had no choice but to deal with the threat at this point. It was possible it was a scout testing the extremities of the barrier, or any other number of equally invasive means. He then brought his hands together to form a band sign, causing a singular clone of himself to appear. The Shinigami wasn’t one to make it appear as if he hand an army of soldiers, when they would simply fall apart at the slightest touch with their power spread so thin.
It was to go without saying that their presence had thus far been hidden to the best of their ability, as the two silently shunpo at a rapid pace towards the entity embracing the barrier. The formation was set as if to flank the being from behind at either side. It wasn’t until the two were within twenty meters of this foe that one would form hainawa causing the tendrils to lash outwards towards the demon, whilst the other made use of tsuzuri raiden on his wakizashi blade as a medium. Their intended result being to use the binding spell to subdue it long enough so that the other could both attack and further bind its movement with vigorous shocks from the Kido. They wouldn’t however place both their lives in danger without first ensuring the binding would work.

Calypso continued testing how much she would have to restrain herself against the barrier, and each 'suck up' felt gross. How could other demons do this just fine? It was a weird idea to her, but at the same time she was super interested in seeing the city. She was too preoccupied to notice the presence shifting in the brush behind her...
"Ah! Got it!" She smiled as her finger went through, beyond elated that she stopped feeling that searing pain, the complaining voices within her flesh plenty happy she got what she wanted as well. She was about to get going, releasing the restraints on her energy, though things went into an unexpected direction; something wrapped around her upper body, which got her understandably freaked out. She struggled a bit, her flesh beginning to hiss, though it really got bad when she felt the first jolt of electricity through the weird restraints. She yelled, her flesh reacting accordingly, tearing the restraints apart, the band where they wrapped and zapped her now coated in black.
"OKAY! WHO THE HELL?!" She snapped, grabbing one of the torn restraints, and giving it a hard yank. Whoever decided that was a good idea wasn't going to be happy. She yanked as hard as she could, tendrils ready to grab if anything were to fall from the shadows.
