Hey Again! [Private/Chifuyu]

Another day another deed. The life of a Warden was a busy one even though Chifuyu technically had a variety of means to stay on top of the heavy workload and give herself plenty of free time all she could really think was that the more thought she wasted on these logistics and duties was less she was contributing to the experiments she was doing and projects she had ongoing as a scientist. Even though she figured the most logical process would be to cut herself from the role of Warden to free the entire time up for herself those pesky things called emotions had their grip on her to an extent.

Even though she liked to try and follow the most rational process she held a level of sentiment to her role here, the title and organisation. Even though it wasn't the power or authority but the time she had invested and dedicated to it. Sunk cost fallacy she knew it to be but she figured she owed it to Azure to continue even if he wasn't here anymore and even if she didn't she didn't want to admit to herself that she liked it as much as it could frustrate her. Even her little outing from her lab was more personal than necessary which she was aware of but decided to do anyway.

When she had arrived at the lab that she had made this outing for she waved off and ignored the greetings for the most part. She didn't need people coming to bother her with greetings, didn't they have work to do anyway? She would've hoped they'd just be too invested in their work to even realise she had come in like a certain person was. The person she ironically wanted to see too. Once she had handled all the other researchers Chifuyu made her way up to stand beside Yuel and sit herself on the table next to her but letting her get a good look at who it was.

"Good afternoon. Aren't you hard at work Yuel? How are the experiments going?"

"It might've been three years for you Yuel, it hasn't been anywhere near that long for me though."

Watching the smaller girl hard at work she smiled while observing her work until she had pulled some attention back to her to acknowledge her with a gaze. Giving a slight nod to the offer Chifuyu leaned in look over it quickly before nodding at her work while listening to explanation.

"You're doing some great work Yuel, if you need energy sources I do not mind offering you some and if you'd like another material to experiement on..."

Giving the young woman a coy grin while she brought a crystal out from behind her back, it didn't materialise out of thin air. It was actually a shard of organic crystal from her own body and the energy wasn't her prime matter or natural energy but the undefined energy from her hogyoku influence sealed into the crystalline structure to give her both a new material and new energy as limited as it was given how long she had to prepare it since it was something she did on the fly.

"Here you go. Of course I'm not going to tell you what it is or the energy type but I think a genius like yourself could figure it out."

Ignoring the others in the room even though it probably sounded surprising for her to offer praise since she wasn't really known for it. In fact it was probably the first time she had done it in the last year or so which went to show her fondness of the other girl that had left a lasting impression from their first meeting and also what she knew of her from the Yuudeshi Network.

Having handed off her little gift to the bubbly Yuel who was quick to get to work on analysing it, wasting no time indeed as the machines left a little hum to the ears until it was finished and she watched the "mind of karakura" get to work on designing and breaking down her information before proudly giving her analysis of the material which was technically spot on as one could be. Of course she wasn't aware that Yuel had been aware of the Hogyoku her uncle possessed but this stroke of recognition let her glimpse that her uncle wasn't as prudent as she thought with the information of the Hogyoku. Although she was sure her own origins were much more guarded than that was.

"Well done. I expected nothing less from a someone such as yourself."

Although what started as praise quickly ended up with a light flick to her nose and a criticism towards her childish title that she had made up which she addressed quickly thereafter to not leave her confused as to the sudden flick after being praised.

"Of course that title sounds ridiculous though, Mind of Karakura.. How silly."

Sighing and shaking her head in a bit of feigned disappointment, even though it was silly to her there was nothing wrong with it. Chifuyu however didn't want to spend too much time on debating her made-up title and so before Yuel could get too defensive about it she'd continue to explain the crystal she was holding.

"Hmm, it's not really a piece of crystallised energy. That would suggest it had a limited amount no like a battery? What you're holding is a small fragment of what could be defined as a hogyoku so it produces a very small amount of energy but no less it should be effective for your research."

Her explanation probably would only confuse Yuel, given that for her to call that a fragment would mean it came from a hogyoku rather than from the energy produced by one which would create a blank spot given that Zin would never hand off his hogyoku and nor were they easy to create. So how did Chifuyu come by something of this scale?

That wouldn't be answered, even their conversation wasn't able to be heard by the others in the room which she hadn't forgotten about since she had prevented the vibrations from carrying through the air in the room and to prevent them from hearing them and the content of their conversation and so the Warden of the Vanguard, given this was still before the Lux Orior formation, would follow Yuel around and observe her actions.

"How did that do?"
