A Dragon's Wrath
Sun Sep 23, 2018 8:44 am
The dragon continued to fly as fire blossomed around its body. This meant little to him, he was born and bred in fire, and the concussive force wasn't enough to really injure him in any way. His scales were made of the most durable of materials, he had never feared injury in his life. The only time he'd ever been defeated was with trickery and sealing magic, something that brute force never fared well against. He was knocked downwards somewhat, not out of the air, but his elevation surely decreased. He was still completely wild with rage, so much so that he had no real perception of what was happening around him, not even realizing there was someone on his back.
He was flying at breakneck speeds, heading in the direction of the next closest city in order to spread more destruction. As he did so he let out a roar once more, finally noticing that the source of the explosions had come straight from atop his back. When he did notice this it enraged him even further, and he turned his head around sharply, coating every bit of his back that he could reach with flame. After having attempted this same maneuver several times with no success he noticed an impressively large rock outcrop, and began to fly towards it. Before long he'd come upon it, and he began to press the attack once more.
Flying about as fast as he could he smashed his back into the great wall, causing a few tons of rock to crumble and fall from their precarious positions, hopefully taking care of his assailant. He let lose another earsplitting roar and bellowed flame into the air, sending it several stories high. His presence would be known for miles away.
Afterwards he continued his flight towards the nearest populated land, intent to seek out and destroy all he came across. He had withstood the worst kind of torment for an unmeasurable amount of time, and he would take out all of his rage on whatever was around him. It mattered not that the ones who'd imprisoned him had long since died, because he viewed the whole world as being at fault. They should have accepted his dominance over them, instead they rebelled, coming up with a dishonest and treacherous scheme.
The small mortals couldn't be allowed to live on any longer, he'd decided that long ago. He'd wipe out ever single one of them no matter how fast they ran or how well they hid. Having flown as speedily as he had, Kanghui was now in the middle of a barren waste, about halfway towards reaching his goal of the next city. He would destroy the entire thing until there was nothing left of it but ash. Then he would do the same to the next city, and the next. To all of them, until every trace that they'd ever existed was wiped off of the face of the planet. Then he could finally rule in peace.

[LISTEN TO THE POSTING MUSIC]
Artist: DBS - Song: Hakaishin Toppo - Word Count: N/A
It was becoming apparent enough that this dragon was becoming further enraged after being awoken from his slumber. However, that didn't matter in the mind of Sing Iramasha. Now that he mind was focused and back in the game, it was time to secure the safety of her people. Therefore, she leaped at mach two speeds in order to gain some distance between her and the dragon to avoid being crushed by its backside as it attempted to throw her off his back.
When she gained enough ground, the woman wasted no time letting out a mighty roar of her own that brought forth with it the summoning of a hellishly bright aura of gold light. Proceeding this eruption of illumination, what transpired afterward had been the spreading of a mass barrier held together by the master level aether control which Sing yielded over her magic. Spreading for roughly three miles in all directions, this barrier was meant to seal off the beast from the outside world and prevent his assaults from harming any more innocents. So any attacks that he may perform following this action could be held off by the dome considering the fact The Princess was now at full power and focused on keeping him from his path of destruction.
Furthermore, it was becoming apparent that raw physical attacks most likely won't have a direct impact on him. Therefore, rather than waste time with that, Sing sought to the metaphysical approach to handle this issue. For this reason is why the sounds of fist-pumping music started to radiate from her headphones. She was beginning to tap into her element of music and the tempo was making her heart rate accelerate as more life and energy swelled in her body. When enough Aether had been gathered, the woman let out a scream to invoke her next attack:
"MELODY OF ALTERATIONS, PLAY THE SOUNDS OF LOSS!"
Then, with the sound of a heavy guitar riff, a burst of gold energy darted at The Dragon at mach four speeds; making it hard to dodge at his size. And given the obvious fact that this creature was absurdly strong, dispelling it wouldn't be simple. It was engulfed with a high potency of aether, so that meant the attack had a high durability level because the structure of particles which compromised could hold together even under heavy assault. Ergo, it yielded a high probability of making contact.
However, even if this attack didn't make a direct hit, being indirectly marked by the explosion that followed could prove perilous for the beast. This is because regardless of whether or not it hit him, a burst of burning gold light would consume the landscape for five hundred meters in every direction. And within this hellstorm of power would come the obvious effects of his physical body being strained. Bones could begin to ache, scales could begin to crack and he may even cough up some blood here and there. As she was dealing enough power to start taking out entire chunks of a city here.
In spite of that, however, this was much different than her last attack. As the special effect it yielded is from the fact it empowered itself from Sing's special ability. Sacred Melody was a power which allowed for her to craft unique spells from music that she produces. Therefore, the songs that she play often have a reality warping effect because of The Princess's Subjective Reality is able to be enforced through the particles of Aether energy being the medium used to alter the world. Thus, with The Song Of Loss, this is a spell meant to drain the durability of the monster away. If he were caught dead center in the blast? Then he has the potential to lose 25% of his durability. If he is caught by the aftermath and not directly hit, then 15% of his durability could be lowered from this assault and drained from his body.
The primary intent with the song of loss was to take away his defenses and begin the art of draining the dragon so more of her attacks could have a harder impact when she was ready to begin attacking him physically once more. Therefore, she waited and monitored the sitaution to see what actions she should take next to deal with this overgrown monster.

Due to the large wings that adorned his back the dragon was incredibly mobile. It may have seemed like he was too large to move at respectable speeds, but that was merely a misunderstanding. His musculature was exceptionally dense, and his powerful wings were capable of moving him through the air at speeds that the human eye wouldn't be able to register. Because of this he was able to maneuver himself out of the majority of the attack coming his way, although he was slightly caught in the aftermath. A glancing blow. He could feel the effects that the attack was having on him but in his current state it hardly registered in his mind. It was also no concern to him that there was now a barrier around him. His attention was now entirely focused on the foe before him.
The dragon performed several graceful and blindingly quick aerial maneuvers before reorienting itself, now in the perfect position to attack from. With no further warning the dragon began coating the battlefield with a repulsive and corrosive fire. This was no ordinary fire, and anything on one hit by it would immediately begin to understand just how deadly a dragon's fire could be. It was certainly nothing to take lightly. He held nothing back, well past the point of conserving any of his energy for later use. An outside observer might think the dragon to be on a suicide mission, but the truth was that he was just so enraged that there was little else going on inside of his head. He was too consumed by thoughts of vengeance to consider his situation more carefully, or perhaps at all.
Not content with the fire he'd brought forth so far the dragon took another over sized breath, filling his lungs once more. He wouldn't be happy until the entirety of the landscape before him had been reduced to ash. He noticed the small tag-along from before, now a distance away instead of dirtying his being with her foul presence. He focused the majority of his fire in her direction, ready to be rid of this thorn in his side once and for all. Afterwards he would close a great deal of the distance between himself and where she now was, intending to follow up with a devastating tail attack. The dragon was already whipping his tail through the air in preparation, easily creating sonic booms with each fresh arc.
