The Way of the Sky [PRIVATE/Ask To Join Only]
Wed Apr 11, 2018 8:17 pm
The soft morning breeze brushed through the male's hair as he soared through the sky -- poncho, and sash fluttering along with the wind. A smile began to spread over his face as his wings spread to their full length, causing him to shoot higher into the sky. The freedom of the air, one of the things that he absolutely adored. In the sky, he had no limits. He could go where no one else could and slow down for no one!
He spun through the air, spreading his arms out to touch the clouds as he sliced through the heavens. Turning his head down, he looked down to the world below, seeing the various buildings of Europe, causing the male to immediately turn down and begin to drop from the sky, picking up speed in an instant and zipping down, seeing the ground come closer and closer into view as he fell. A thought ripped through his head as this happened, one that had echoed in his mind so many times, that he even began to mouth it.
'Faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.'
The thrill of going so fast caused him to abandon the fear of his quickly approaching demise, the realization only snapping him back into reality mere feet from the ground, causing his body to exert energy, manipulating the wind in order to assist his immediate stop, that same gust flaring outward, ruffling the clothes and assorted accessories in the vicinity as he safely landed on the ground, inhaling deeply as the tension and adrenaline began to die down.
Taking a look around as his wings soon were sealed into his back and wrapped the Garb of Tsukuyomi securely around his shoulders, silenced footsteps began to take him through Europe, carefully making his way to Arianda's palace. It had been a long while since he had visited her. Knowing her, he would probably end up being tackled the moment she opened the door.
She was...quite the excitable person. A warm smile spread across his face as he soon approached his friend's home, reaching up and softly knocking on the door, his body tensing up for what he believed to be the incoming flying red-hooded demoness.

"Ah sheesh!"
Junko's hand swung under to catch the bag of pancake mix, the young demon panting and sighing in relief, that none of it spilled on the floor. She placed the bag on the counter... As the area around the bowl, and she herself, were covered in batter. But of course she wasn't thinking much of that, she was more thinking of how proud she was of herself that she didn't flourbomb the kitchen like her mother somehow... Always does.
She was beginning to pour the batter with.. The entire bowl in her arms, when she heard knocking at the door, which of course caused her to ungracefully drop the entire bowl on the stove, and had her whip her head back to the door. She knew that presence, she felt her spirit tremble with utter glee, as she ran to the door, opening it up, and plowing the male in front of her. Nowhere near with the bone-shattering force her mother deploys, but it was still quite the tacklehug.
"Uncle! You're baaaack!" She squeed, the batter on her clothing likely smudging against his own... As the smoke detector went off with the onslaught of smoke behind her.

He felt...guilty, for not being around Arianda as often as he should -- something that he quickly put in the back of his mind as he saw the door open, his body tensing just the slightest bit more as he waited to be thrown back a few yards by a flying demoness. Well, things just didn't seem to turn out that way. He was thrown back, but not as far as he thought he would be.
Rather, his body simply ended up bending backward, causing Henrex to look down at the other demoness that he loved -- Junko. Henrex swiftly wrapped his arms around his niece, a smile forming as he softly ruffled Junko's hair. Needless to say, Henrex was more than happy to see his niece. But, the sound of something moist squishing against his clothes, as well as the feeling of it caused him to look down at her, confused.
"Junko! What...is on your clothes?"
He blinked, before carefully pushing Junko off of him and setting her down on the ground, the loud blare of the smoke alarm echoed through his ears as he winced, seeing the results of what set off the alarm, causing him to mentally facepalm, but pretty much burst out laughing on the outside, crouching down and softly poking his niece on the forehead.
"You get into just as much trouble in the kitchen as your mother, don't you, Junko?"
Smiling warmly and scooping his niece up and setting her on his shoulders, Henrex ducked down and slid into Arianda's
It wasn't anything major, but nevertheless, it wasn't something to get mad about -- as if he could in the first place. He couldn't really get mad at people very often, especially not Junko. Thus, lifting her off his shoulders and setting her on the ground, Henrex carefully placed a hand on her head.
"You were that happy to see me, huh?"
He couldn't lie. He was overjoyed to see her as well, but the childish, adorably immature nature that she had with it was something that he adored of his niece. Hence, there wouldn't be any form of malice or sarcastic tone in his voice -- there would be nothing but love, warmth, and kindness. He was just as eager to spend time with his niece as she was with him, although his plans for the day likely vastly different from hers.
