A Sinful Angel And A Lustful Demon [Lilium/Arianda]
Wed Mar 21, 2018 5:52 pm
"Would you like a drink ma'a-"
"YES."
Lilium was at it with another late night "training", having been sitting in the casino for hours on end, trying to keep composure and clear thought. She had to focus on restraining herself, so she didn't absorb any sin, and it was quite maddening to practically starve herself. She told herself over and over that if she couldn't consume at will or in low volume, she wouldn't be able to do much of anything for Yaksha. The girl was a strange sight; A pale lass with a massive amount of hair braided into a single sitting criss cross in a wooden chair, overlooking the casino festivities of gamblings and drinking.
She snatched whatever the hell her hand first touched on the woman's drink tray and immediately started downing it, making sure every tart drop got into her. It was about her third drink of whatever liquid she grabbed and downed, but she was feeling kind of tipsy. It took a lot of mental energy to prevent herself from absorbing any sin at all, but she was getting rather tipsy and swaying a bit in her focused position, but the stress lead her to drinking.
"Damn it.. Damn it..!" She slapped her cheeks, releasing a frustrated groan, "Get a HOLD of yourself! You're a Danava! This stuff is your concept! Why can't just you do it!"
She felt the flow begin, the aches in her limbs as holding back what was outside was nearly impossible at this point, her head dipping as her mental fortitude collapsed, bones already starting to emerge from her back and skull...

Vegas, VegasVegasVegas... The city of... what was it the city of again? Gambling? Well, whatever the hell it was, Arianda was taking a bit of a vay-cay to the area that the rich lost their fortune and the poor won their fortune; well, maybe. The demon, the self proclaimed 'angel', chuckled as she watched what lay in front of her; the spread so to speak. The Angel of Conflict could not help but let herself have rather interesting musings about this place. And, well, why wouldn't she? Any place that had a casino or a method to gamble one's life and riches away. It was a place of sin, one such rich with conflict that Arianda could not help but feel like she was high on her own large ass pull of weed; except it wasn't weed, obviously. But, the Angel of Conflict simply could not stand to watch; so she mingled. Swindled a few dumb asses out of money she didn't need; it was easy when you were a demon and able to make conflictions seem logical... if the mind was foolish enough. But, her fun soon enough came to an end as, well, she got bored; so she moved to the bar to get a drink.
There, at the bar, was a woman drinking more booze than most of the people here. She was either A. an alcoholic digging her grave or B. A demon who didn't know her limit. So, Arianda took a seat next to her and, instead of ordering some alcohol; she observed. The Angel of Conflict simply observed, watched, as the girl, the Danava, clapped her hands on her cheeks and seemingly tried to focus; and was failing. Arianda sighed softly and the girl would feel Arianda's finger touch the side of her head in a flick.
The flick wasn't extremely forceful, no. But, nor would it break her concentration. It would simply alert her that 'hey! Someone's next to youuu!' Of course, that likely did the trick as the demon, who didn't appear old enough to be in a Casino, stared at the Danava; Lilium. The demon of conflict rose an eyebrow slowly as she could not help but sigh at this little show in front of her when it came to someone having terrible control over her power.
"I do hope you realize that drinking alcohol, even for a demon, won't help you concentrate more. Frankly, it'll help you concentrate less. So, here, lemme help you~"
Lilium would then feel, well, a great decrease in the amount of sin around her. But, she would feel something else, something from Arianda as the Angel of Conflict enforced conflict around her and Lilium. She made it so the conflict would not hurt Lilium, but, it certainly was evident that the sin she was feeling was greatly dampened.
"It also seems to me that trying to control your concept in the middle of the most sinful place in the world might be a bit too much for you; you're losing control, darling~ So, how bout we either make a little field for you to stand in that dampens the sin, but does not remove it. Or, I can remove my conflict and let you lose control~ I personally prefer the former, less self destruction and general destruction, more control and growth. So, what do ya think? Oh, I'm Arianda, Arianda Vael, by the way~ Nice to meet ya~"

Lilium was fully prepared for the sin to engulf her; She knew plenty well if she held back sin that was already there, it would not end well for her. All she could do was maintain focus as the bones sprouting from her back slowly became adorned with feathers, stuck fast to the muscles and flesh, until she felt a gentle flick, her blackening eyes following her head as she looked up, the little manifests of sin being repelled by... Something, her seeing them floating away a little farther away, to the people indulging in their addictions.
The young Danava's head felt fuzzy, as sin dribbled down her cheeks, the black liquid dripping from her dark eyes, as if they were tears. The amber circles that identified her pupils slowly drifted to the woman beside her, who ran her mouth like there was no tomorrow. Her clouded head hardly could process what she said, the girl's eyes darting about, looking her up and down and up and down, trying to figure out what the hell was happening, and why this dark haired girl was beside her. She blinked slowly, rubbing her eye, which of course caused the highly staining liquid to smear across her cheek, staining her arm as well.
She was a few minutes, but her eyes widened when she finally figured out what the hell was going on, looking clearly upset.
"... Listen." Her tone was full of obvious rage, as her black and white feathered wings sprouted, soon becoming far too large to just be hanging off in the air, slowly growing more and more, closer to the ground as she spoke, "I do NOT. NEED. YOUR HELP. I am FINE. I do not need any help, I can handle MYSELF." She slipped from the seat, beginning to storm away, droplets of sin hitting the floor as her wings dragged across the floor, but she turned back,
"I am not a child. I can care for myself. Don't you DARE look down at me..."

For someone like Arianda, someone who knew when another person was being a complete dumb ass about their own powers; bot being able to control it. She heard the woman before her get angry, fill with rage, and spoke to her. And, as she walked away Arianda burst out laughing; a laugh that was far too hardy for a casino. It was a laugh that would fit better in a mead hall.
"Haha Haha, haa~ Oh I'm sorry, do not think I look down upon you. If I did, you would be getting turned into dust before my very eyes; not being assisted. And apologies for treating you like a child, but, you kinda are one, hun. You look like you're 15-18 years old and you have the energy of a demonic child. So yes, you are a child. And, darling, if you were fine, you wouldn't be losing control and going into a release just at the touch, just at the over dose of your ability. I mean come on! If you really are what you are, which appears to be a demon of sin, then I think you would have more control if you're not a child. So... in other words."
Arianda grinned as she stood and then snapped her fingers. It was in that moment that a wave of conflict blasted through the room. It didn't effect all, but, those who it did, they started to either try and murder someone who did just about nothing to them; or people tearing their own hair out over conflicting decisions they wanted to make. After a few moments, Arianda chucked evilly before she snapped her fingers again and... it all stopped. Not a single soul was injured, not one. Their minds tampered with? Sure. But, there was no bodily harm to them despite the fact that some people were about to try and murder others; she stopped it before they did. Then she appeared in front of Lilium, her expression that of boredom; her eyelids half closed, her lips making no motion or curling until she spoke. Safe to say, Lilium's tiny little tantrum at Arianda's little offer to help was nothing more than a small ant trying to bite her and failing.
"Do you wish to know what it is like to be looked down upon by me? Because me offering my help to you, someone who clearly has no control over her ability, is not looking down upon you. If I was looking down upon you, you'd be on your face, on the ground; you wouldn't be standing and you would know you were getting looked down upon because, not only would I be literally looking down at you, but I would consider you nothing more than the dirt below my feet as I stepped over you without giving a damn. So, dear little, naive, Danava; how bout you calm down before you find out what it is like to be torn apart from the inside out by Conflict."
Arianda's threat was that in what it was, basically meaningless. It could have meaning behind it but, she was bored with this girl's tiny little tantrum. So, safe to say, the Angel of Conflict was prepared to punch Lilium to the moon and back if she didn't clam her tits. Adorable girl or not, Arianda would have none of her bullshit.
"Also, what's your name? I'd like to know it, you know."

Re: A Sinful Angel And A Lustful Demon [Lilium/Arianda]

Lilium's walking stopped, the drunken girl grinding her teeth when she heard the laughter. No particular sin engulfed her, no no not yet. She was soaked with it, practically, having her fill; Lust, Wrath, Gluttony, Greed... The sins affiliating with those words swirled around inside of her, one threatening to claw and bite the other just to surface. But there was a clear leading competitor when she heard the demon, Arianda, speak. Even if she didn't say it, even if she flat out denied she ever did, Lilium could feel it, the dragging, the coldness, she already felt belittled. She felt small, like an insect overlooking a predator, about to be crushed without a second thought.. A little insect would be no use to a wolf or tiger...
Her hands clenched, as the room went into a period of madness, her breathing becoming heavier as her self esteem plummeted as her anger grew in place, the conflict subsiding around her, but not within her, as she felt the fiery, white hot rage inside of her grow, and grow and GROW...
I am not small... I am not small.. I am not small...
The world went silent and dark around her as her emotions began to spin out of control, sin dripping more profusely from her eyes and mouth. One would think she was suffering a panic attack if black gunk wasn't coming out of her orifices every second, with her hands rising to cover her ears, her body clearly tensed.
It burned, with her anxiety. It burned...
Im not little... Don't look down at me... Im not... Im not... Im not weak... Im not your plaything... IM NOT!
Heat of the moment, she turned around and almost too fast to actually see her move, she was in front of Ari, looking her intense in the eyes, her own boiling and warped with rage, as a sharpened smile formed on her face.
"Look, whore, I don't need your goddamn help. I've been doing plenty damn fine On. My. Own." She was literally up in Ari's face, her breath against her, "So leave me thee fuck alone, before I tear your ass apart."

Well, wasn't this a sight? She was having another tantrum. Arianda chuckled softly as the girl in front of her got angrier and angrier. Then, she busted out in hearty laughter once more as Lilium turned the room to chaos. Little did Lilium know, Arianda was actually laughing at the chaos in the room; it was so entertaining and so... sooo nice to feel. But, of course, she wasn't laughing completely at the chaos. This little girl... she was adorable. Arianda could not help but laugh a small bit more and slowly wound down when Lilium was up in her face. She didn't stop because of Lilium, but because she had her fill of laughter and didn't want to upset the poor bab no longer. But then, the Danava said something that had gone a bit too far.
'Whore'. Those were Lilium's words. 'Whore'. Now, Arianda knew she certainly had sex more than needed, be she didn't go whoring around for it. So the demon shook her head as green energy came off of her for the moment as she siphoned off the chaos Lilium created to herself and then sighed at the demon who was in her face now.
"Ya know, there's some things you say and some things you just don't do or say. So, if you don't mind, get out of my face."
Then, up came a hand. Just a hand, Arianda's hand that is. She brought her palm forward in a motion that Lilium could see, but, the force that shoved her back was like that of a freight train slamming into her. It wouldn't cause any lasting harm, like broken bones, but, it would knock the wind out of her and certainly leave a few scratches here and there when she impacted the wall that Arianda flung her in to. Then the Demon walked towards Lilium, slowly, as if she was approaching an enemy she was about to kill. The Angel of Conflict then grabbed Lilium by the front of her shirt and pinned her to the wall; her left hand grabbing a hold of her face.
"So... how about you feel a little bit of turmoil, hm? Below me or not, you have pissed me off, darling~"
If Lilium didn't gain any sort of composure or was still stunned from getting thrown into a wall, she would feel herself getting conflicted about this or that. But, she would only have a few instants to do so, and a few instants was all Arianda needed when considering their gap in power. About whether she liked a certain type of alcohol better than the other, possibly worse, type. It was small things, nothing too huge at first, but, these things stacked up and grew and grew until it was a roaring tsunami of conflict and then... it all stopped. All of it. Not just the conflict, but, Lilium's senses. As a demon, you enjoy to feel certain sensations that either feed your existence or give you pleasure. Arianda had no exact idea what Lilium's was, but, she cut off all of her ability to sense such things. It was a moment, just a moment, but, if the girl was truly as young as she looked, or even younger, such a moment would frighten her beyond the pull of death. To not feel something that sustains you and can keep you alive is quite likely the worst feeling ever but, then it all returned. The tsunami died down and Arianda stopped manipulating Lilium's senses through conflict and took her hand off of the Sinful Danava's face and sighed softly.
"So, if you really want to seem like an adult, seem like you are not below others, stop acting like a child and know humility. Know when to accept help instead of spitting in someone else's face and getting yourself crushed because of it. Or, would you like me to tear your ass asunder?"

This wrathful Lilium had no interest in killing the woman, only scaring her, showing her who was boss. What was not expected was her to be knocked into a wall with blinding speed she did not expect. Her drunken state slowed things, her seeing wisps of green, before the room moved away from her, feeling herself slam against the nearest wall, her body hitting it with a good smack. Some onlookers mumbled but most of everyone was too wrapped up in their activities to give much of a fuck; Wasn't their business so they wouldn't intervene.
Lilium sat there, dizzied by the impact, her wrath fueled tantrum turning into a moment of dissonance and confusion. She promptly vomited, the only thing her stomach having were any assortment of alcohol, so no chunks hit the floor, only a clear bile.
Any wounds caused by smacking into the wall were automatically forcing themselves closed to speed the healing process, but Lilium was one hundred-ten percent out of it, her amber eyes slowly looking up to see a blurry figure walking towards her, sounds having become distorted as her mind tried to figure out what the hell was happening, but her vision cleared, her weakened body lying on the floor to behold Ari, who proceeded to grab her by the shirt.
Her mouth felt sour and numb, but her eyes slowly slid to gaze upon Arianda's face once more, her ears picking up the woman's sentence with clarity as fear settled in once more...
Turmoil..?
Was it beer I liked? Or was it wine? Ale?Vodka?Mead?GinRumTequila...
On and on, at first, it was only drinks. Her brain was flogged with thoughts about things, things that she wouldnt usually think so hard about, but she thought very hard on now. She couldnt think, her mind was filled with thoughts, thoughts, thoughts. A river, a pond, a lake, an OCEAN. Thought after thought after thought, personal and casual alike, assaulted her head. She thought about everything, everything... It was almost maddening.
As she succumbed to the torrent of thought, her wings shriveled away, the feathers shedding and vanishing as the bones returned to their host, her body having hardly much to indicate she was still aware of the outside world... She was whimpering and letting out the occasional wail, though she wasn't onto the worst part yet.
The thoughts grew and grew and grew... Until... They stopped.
...
Nothing. There was nothing. Nothing in her mind, nothing she could see, or hear, or touch or taste. Absolutely nothing. It was a non-experience in a void of nothing. This was when her body fully went limp, her struggling ceasing, drool trickling from the corner of her lips. She didn't move, she didn't breathe...
Til her senses came rushing back to her. That was when she reacted. Tears came trailing down her face, normal ones, not ones of sin, the black substance long faded into what others would see as nothing.
Her mind simply couldn't handle it, the overflow of thoughts, to the sudden shutdown. She released a loud yell, nothing that would last very long, for her body wasn't able, and then sleep smacked her like an angry Hispanic hitting her disobedient child with a sandal. Her body hung limp in Ari's grip, almost like a corpse, but the girl was far from dead, merely having the absolute daylights scared from her.
------
She wasn't asleep very long, just a good hour of a pass out, til she woke up. Her eyes were the first thing to act as soon as consciousness was achieved, flying open as she let out a scream, quickly touching her entire body, head to toe, to make sure she was still there. She was met with relief to feel and see things once more, her legs folding in for her to hug and hide her head in, crying from the disturbance. She couldn't tell where she was, when she was, or who she was with, but her first instinct was to bawl her eyes out.

The Angel of Conflict may have gone a bit... a touch of brandy too far. The woman who had pissed Arianda off, who she was trying to help earlier, seemed to be wailing in front of her from the torrent of thoughts. Arianda was too mad to stop in the moment, but, afterwards, she felt bad. This was something not foreign from the demon, not at all. If there was anything Arianda was good at, it was expressing regret and feeling bad about her actions. So, the demon gently cradled the girl who had just lost her consciousness to the torrent she felt. In her regret and remorse, the demon took the girl to a nearby hotel. It was, of course, a high quality one. She got in for free due to her position in Shadowfall. She had some pull, and she was the face of shadowfall and she passed off Lilium as a friend who passed out at the bar and she was helping her to a room.
It took Arianda moments, simply moments, to get Lilium to their room and onto a bed where she could properly rest. It was there that Arianda put her on the bed, without putting her under covers since that would take much too long, and then moved to get some food.
During that hour, the demon simply checked Lilium's temperature, breathing, and general state of being to make sure she was okay; that she was relatively alright. After that hour had passed, well, the demon was in the middle of preparing something to drink which she nearly threw across the room when Lilium screamed. The demon hopped up and immediately moved to Lilium's bed and slowly sat down near her and then noticed her crying, crying such tears that Arianda could not help but sympathize for. She gently, ever so gently, wrapped her arms around Lilium and hugged her nice and tight; the demon shedding a few tears as well as she slowly drained her pain and then felt that same pain herself. She wouldn't let her go, even if the girl punched her. Arianda just... felt bad. She did mean to give her what she got, but, she did not intend this effect. So, the demon made sure that Lilium was comforted properly before speaking to her in a soft voice; one that was filled with care, and no hint of anything bad like condescension.
"I'm sorry about that... I didn't mean to scare you that much. But, I do have some advice. And I am being sincere. Accept help when you can... I know you say that you are fine on your own, but, it's better to get help from those who mean to give it than not."
She gives Lilium a smile and then lets out a soft sigh, making sure Lilium was comfortable with her presence.
"So, do you want any food? I know we don't need any food as demons, but, it's still nice to have some food. So, any food?"

She sat there, crying for a good while, getting the panic and hysteria out, til Arianda came into her room, which she heard the woman coming close, which prompted her to quickly run her eyes of tears, but was squished into a hug. Lilium was under a good deal of stress, not from just this situation alone, so she reacted upon impulse, pushing the woman so slightly as she began hugging, but the lullings of flesh having contact with her only weakened her desire to repel her, hands slowly slipping down to her thighs as she sort of gave in, though she was still plenty distressed, even with the sensations of pain being drawn away from her.
"Y-you don't need to hug me.." Her face was red, "I'm not a baby, I don't need to be comforted, s-so just let me go..." She was clearly quite grumpy, "I don't need your help. I really don't. I can do everything by myself, I can learn how to control everything by myself. I can. I really can..." She was quite exhausted obviously, "I don't need food, I don't need anything. I'm fine. Just... Let me go, I still need to practice."

Arianda could only sigh softly as Lilium spoke, hearing what she said but the demon couldn't take it all in. She just, couldn't. It was unneeded bravado, bravado that she seemed to cling to as if she didn't, she would perish. Then again, some people basically die if their ego was popped, but, the Demon doubted such a thing was likely with Lilium. So, The Angel of Conflict let a sigh escape her lips as Lilium kept trying and trying to convince her that she would be okay on her own, that she would be fine and this and that.
"Hun, do me a favor. Two, favors actually. One, please stop trying to convince me and yourself that you don't need help even in the slightest... you want to gain strength but you can gain more strength through others with their help. Second, please tell me your name. I would like to know your name; it would make conversing easier."
The demon slowly stopped hugging Lilium, not caring that the girl's hands were on her thighs. She smiled at her, and then gave Lilium one more, short, hug before sighing softly and putting her hands on Lilium's shoulders.
"Listen, I understand wanting to go it your own, to not have to depend on others. But, you can get help from others even if you don't want to depend on them. Believe me, having people that you can trust and depend on is better than having all the strength in the world and being alone."
Arianda gave Lilium a smile once more before pulling her into a hug again, trying to settle her down a little bit with the hug and still eating a bit of her pain. Frankly, it was gonna be alright.
