Angel Lost [Private]

Time. Always moving forward, always advancing on. A momentum that could not be stopped, all resistance futile. No matter what anyone did, eventually point A would become point B. Point B would become point C. And yet, for all that inevitable motion, one could still find themselves standing still. As the world advances around them, they themselves would stagnate. Eventually, all such beings would adapt or be swallowed up by the unrelenting tides, and spat out as flotsam. Time always won. The best one could hope for is a draw, immortality itself was not a victory against time. It was just a draw, a ceasefire. For one girl in particular, this battle seemed all too real. For all the effort she had put in, she had gotten nowhere. To continuously try to gain something so simple, and continuously failing, she was beginning to feel the sting of defeat. Her will and determination, with all their strength, had begun to falter. Twenty years of no progress would do that. She wasn't at some pinnacle of strength, mental, or spiritual aptitude. She should not have plateau'd already. Was she truly damned with an arrested development? Was this truly her peak? For the Angel of Electricity, this fear was becoming very real.
Sumika wasn't giving up. There was one thing that had rekindled some of the fire within her, the little demon girl she had effectively become the mother of. It was strange, an Angel Iramasha whose energy by design abolished such beings was now the caretaker of one. Even more so that one who had spent much of her life fearing demons should be mothering one. The Iramasha had some strength, to be able to get past a deep seated fear dating back to when she was nearly killed as a child. But for all that strength, what she lacked was progress. She felt like it was something wrong with her. In truth, it wasn't her. She wasn't a natural born Iramasha, only changed into one. What she lacked was the instinct to know what to do, or a teacher to help her figure it out. She was left with the swirling power within her anatomy being foreign, difficult to just "figure out". It'd be like a human suddenly growing 9 new pairs of arms and 3 new pairs of legs and trying to figure out how to independently move them. If the instinct didn't come with the package, it was a monumental task.
The thick clouds overhead only serving to represent the state of her mind, Sumika pressed onward back to Karakura Central. The demon girl she was watching over actually stayed in the forest. She was kinda animalistic in nature, and Sumika still had to figure out how to get her in the system for Karakura Central so she could actually come in. It'd probably turn into yet another day of no progress, again. Over the years she HAD figured out she can generate electricity and fire it off, even control it more finely. But that was old news. It hasn't gotten stronger or fancier since she initially learned to do it. She stopped and took a seat, she was still on the edge of the outer town. She knew it wasn't safe out here, but she had survived plenty. She was at least strong enough to safely defeat the average mooks without problems. She looked up to the sky as she sat, the little redhead only being broken from her trance by the howl of a hollow. Though they do tend to be in lower quantity here than further out, they still showed up. "Ah...." She sighed in displeasure, she just wanted one break.
Raising up a hand, she swirled it around a bit, electricity forming and leaving a trail, before the hollow appeared, lion-like, and charged at her from the left. She turned and lobbed the electricity, it taking an unnatural but mostly intended trajectory. While it struck the hollow, stunning it, half of it missed and ended up smacking the side of a building, causing some minor damage. Had she known how to properly imbue the holy attributes of her class into it, the hollow probably would have been dead, but of course her kills were gonna be sloppy in this state. She hadn't even prepared to kill the first when from behind, another could be heard. This...was not a good spot to be in. She'd probably be fine, but she knew the chance of it going poorly were pretty decent.

THE FRIGID HEROINE'S POST
Artist: Carrotwine - Song: Dark Side Of The Road
Training in solitude wasn't something that the monks of old did. It was still being applied to this day by even the celestial's of heaven. In fact, this is precisely the state of being that The Angel of The Ice known as Cirno Iramasha found herself in. For the past week or so, the woman had been staying within the forest of Karakura Central undisturbed in a state of internal meditation. What was her purpose? To disconnect, heal and mend the scars of her mind to revert away from her Fallen Angel State of being and back towards her holy ether.
By the time her eyes had opened, a whole city block of slain hollows, demons and poochers who tried to assault the maiden in her slumber scattered out across the woman. With a brief mutter of a prayer, she hoped that her ether allowed for these spirits to be reborn, the toxins of their souls to be released and for them to find peace in their new life. For now, she needed to awaken, find civilization and recoup herself back to proper form. It is why she ventured through the overcast skies above, journeyed out of the lush green confines of the forestland and began to find the metallic skylines of Karakura Central. The feeling of life, prosperity, and hope ushered into her beings as she could feel that there was something she needed to do here now that she was returning back to form.
And that sixth sense type of feeling wasn't far from the mark.
What greeted Cirno's return was the release of a horde of hollows which were beginning to invade this portion of the outskirts of Karakura Central. For her, however, it was already a chance to do some good in the world. Without missing a heartbeat, The Celestial forged dozens of lightning shaped burst of holy aether in order to rip apart all of the hollows which were beginning to descend upon the area. Flash after flash of white light filled the area until the aqua aura of The Angel's energy overflowed on the scene.
Taking a curious glance back to Sumika, the oceanic eyes of Cirno were rather interested to see another Angel Iramasha this far out of their territory. So, she'd give a wave, walk over and investigate things for herself.
"Don't worry about those guys. My energy should be enough to cleanse their spirits and grant them a life."
Once she was within five feet of the fellow Iramasha, Cirno stopped moving so that she could inspect her further. Something was off about her energy, but The Celestial of The Ice wasn't quite certain of what. So, that just meant it was time for more questions!
"More importantly, what brings an Iramasha like yourself out here? Is something wrong?"
Most people don't end up in this part of Karakura unless something is up based on this Angel's experience with Karakura Central. So she wanted to hear what story Sumika had for her to get to the bottom of this whole ordeal.
