Survival of the Foxiest [Aiko/OPEN]
Tue Oct 03, 2017 4:33 pm
Aiko ran about in the forest, having pushed through a few days of living rather uncomfortably. Sleeping on rocks or in bushes was.. Quite annoying. Likely the most uncomfortable things she had ever slept in... The girl's clothing too was starting to get worn down and torn from her romps through the wilds. She was starting to get pretty hungry too... Sumika wasn't to be around for quite a while, so Aiko was out of luck in terms of food for the time being... Unless...
Aiko's ears and nose twitched at the sound and smell of... Deer! The girl ran on all fours to the source of the scent, huffing and panting as she went across the grass, almost sliding when she arrived at the source, making sure she was hidden. Two deer were present, a male and a female. They smelled... Pretty good. Aiko didn't quite know why, but she advanced anyway. Of course... Stealth was not Aiko's expertise.
She suddenly launched herself from hiding, having absolutely no idea what she was doing, or supposed to be doing. These actions just seemed.. Natural to her. The girl's body flung onto the male, alerting the female and causing her to sprint off. The male on the other hand, she clung fast to the tender brown back of him.
What the girl didn't expect... Was the deer to begin bucking and trying to get her off. Her claws were digging into the flesh, but that didn't stop her latter half from slapping up and down as the attempts to shake her off commenced. Aiko had absolutely no idea what was going on, or what she was even trying to achieve. She felt in control at first, like it was natural... But now she was quite screwed.
The deer was successful in getting her off, knocking her more to it's rear and giving a mighty kick, causing her to fly off into a tree, though it didn't come out of it unscathed. Not only did it have claw marks on it's body, Aiko's tail had distributed a strange black liquid from her tail as she was knocked about, dark splotches on the creature's body.
Aiko laid dazed, in pain as she was staring at the deer. Strange enough, the deer did not run. Instead, it staggered and soon fell from the sluggish, ungraceful movement, lying on the ground. Of course the deer wasnt seriously hurt or dying, but merely dropped the will to flight.
Aiko laid motionless as well, not dead, but quite injured. The girl had sustained injuries to her shoulder and temple, though what actually got her shaken was being thrown against the tree. She wasn't mortally injured, death wouldn't come immediately at least.
"Sit... Up..."
Aiko was suddenly forcing herself to sit up against the tree, her breathing having become labored and the need to sleep strengthening.
"Call for help... Don't... Fall.. Asleep..."
Aiko forced her eyes open, and through her confused and dazed state, she took in a deep breath, and shrieked,
"HEEEEEELLLLPP-"
Her call was abruptly halted by coughing, her head hanging with her body trembling from the shock of being harmed. The pain was too intense for her to properly acknowledge momentarily, but she knew something wasn't okay.

This little demon was FUCKING BORED. FUCKING BORED. At least she was in the Karakura forest; probably one of her more favored places to laze around and relax in. She could only let a sigh of exasperation out as she kept walking through the forest. It was at least a little bit relaxing since there wasn't much noise to bother the demon girl as she continued to walk through the forest. Arianda popped her neck as she continued to walk and walk and walk.... FOR THE LOVE OF GOD THIS IS BORING AS SHIT.
Arianda groaned quite audibly as she flopped over face first right in to the dirt; laying herself out flat as she was definitely the most bored being in the world right now. Arianda could not help but let out one, long ass sigh as she laid there in the dirt; waiting for something interesting to happen. Soon enough, the demon flipped over and wiped dirt off her face. Before Arianda could mutter to herself about not having much shit to do she heard a scream of help; at least she thought she did. Arianda blinked as that scream echoed in her mind as her eyes searched the forest. Eventually, she sensed a surprisingly faint energy source as well as that of a... deer? Huh. Arianda simply shrugged and then flipped up from her position and zipped through the forest; the dirt that was on her being left behind her in a puff of dust.
After weaving through trees and possibly plowing through the occasional bush, Arianda stopped in the clearing to see a dear on the ground, bleeding but not dead, and a girl against a tree; once more, injured but not dead. Arianda went over to the deer and looked at the wounds on the surface. She never really considered saving an injured animal, it would be easy, but, she had no idea why this girl was attacking it; was she? Arianda took a look at the gashes on it's back and then pointed her gaze towards the girl that was lying against the tree. Arianda walked over to her, avoiding the black splotches on the ground just in case, and then knelt in front of her studying the girl. Arianda moved her hand onto the girl's head, which she would feel, as pain started to bleed out of her and whatever injuries she had knitted themselves back together. Of course, there was still some dull aching, but, the pain was greatly reduced. Arianda gently let go of her head and popped her neck, licking her lips afterwards. It was a very sweet pain, but, nothing more. Arianda sighed as she made sure that the girl had no more injuries as she finally removed her hand from her completely; no longer using her DE to reverse the wounds the girl received. And, of course, Arianda consumed the pain of her own accord thanks to how she was as a demon. After a few seconds of letting the tailed girl in front of her recover, Arianda finally spoke to her.
"Hey... ya still there? Stay awake, alright? I don't need you going into shock or anything... I'm Arianda, I healed your wounds; how are you feeling? And are you alright?"

Aiko panted gently as she lied against the tree, panting gently as she shook from the pain of her injuries. Aiko had never felt something so terrible... She had no clear idea of what this horrid, uncomfortable feeling was. Well... Something told her it was a thing called "pain". The girl shivered as she felt a liquid drip into one of her eyes, the eye automatically closing and causing her to cringe from the stinging. She whimpered, finding it harder and harder to stay awake. Her eyelids were so heavy... Wouldn't it be better to-
"Don't goddamn fall asleep."
This got the girl forcing her not stinging eye open once more. She could not fall asleep... No sleeping... It could be very very bad if she fell asleep! But... How did she know something like that? Her head hurt far too much for that analysis... It felt like a nest of crows had taken roost in her skull and were cawing and flapping their wings around the inside of her head. Same kind of feeling could be applied to her chest, though it was more on the level of woodpeckers than crows.
The girl's vision had begun to fade one final time as the little voice in the back of her mind urged her to stay awake just a little longer... Her nose caught the scent of an unfamiliar, strange entity. Within a few minutes... Well... She wasn't quite asleep, but she appeared on the verge of passing out. Of course she wasn't suffering from internal bleeding or any kind of blood loss, but due to her being so unfamiliar with pain she couldn't handle it so well.
She heard a voice as she barely held onto consciousness, which only pulled her from the sensation of blissful and alluring sleepiness. Her eye shot open, her hand going up to the eye which blood have gotten into and rubbing it to reduce the horrid, rather annoying stinging.
"Ariana... Aridan... Aria..." With clever letter association, the girl unintentionally created a nickname trying to say the woman's name. She said this hardly under her breath, loud enough for the woman to hear.
"A-Aiko Inari.." The girl had responded to the name being said, her seeming to perk up within seconds. Her autumn eyes sudden widened and became filled with happiness.
"Aria!" The girl suddenly lunged forth, pulling the woman into a momentary hug while saying, "Thank you, Aria!"
The girl instantly released, looking over at the deer and scampering over, staring at it's weakened body. Black liquid was all over the back of this creature, which seemed to result in it lying on the ground. It wasn't badly hurt or anything, just appearing to be lethargic.
The girl in turn, in a confused action, slowly bent down and tried gnawing at the deer's flesh, obviously not doing any damage, but she seemed to have no idea what the hell she was doing. All she knew was that she was hungry and she needed to bring.... This... Down.
