A Fool's Sense of Direction

This damn map that Mirja gave him was a blasted anomaly of one issue after another. It felt like he'd gone to a different world almost since he landed at the starting point. He sighed softly running a hand through his hair as he smiled. He looked at the place taking in the beauty before sitting down now. This was certainly confusing as it didn't look like Mirja's drawing. This place felt different and even smelled different from where he was going. Qiang couldn't put his finger on it but something was different here. He'd left the Soul Society's realm and he could feel that much. The question was where did he make a wrong turn at this point? His sense of direction was showing. But he couldn't do much about it as he gave a soft grin over the situation. His sworn brother would have been pissed off had he known about this. But Yusuke knew about his sense of direction and how often he got lost. But Qiang was unphased by this turn of events often finding it fun. It was more interesting to bump into strange people as he went.
Exploring the world and finally leaving the Kingdom to see the world. That was a dream, though setting a course or heading wasn't his style. It was wherever the wind may take us. West of Zanzibar to meet the sands barbarians. but joking aside it was a rough course for him to figure things out. He tucked the map in the odd language into his gauntlet now. The question was how to get back where he went or did a people live here? He could sense something in the distance, it was a far off thing. Something that lingered just out of touch and reaches for him to find it. Qiang didn't know how to quite go about putting it into words for others. It was sort of like a dimly lit candle in the distance. Trouble was it was in a maze and getting there. He brought a hand to his chin going into thought about how to find his way out. This world was such an interesting place of shapes and sizes. It was different from the Suigura Home World. In so many aspects and ways, he couldn't help but feel the excitement.

Humming. That would be the sound that’d reach the ears of the foreigner. It was soft, childish in nature, but loud nonetheless and it came from directly behind the man. It announced the presence of another before their form was even seen, the merry tune getting louder as the figure grew closer. Who hummed such a merry and carefree tune? Well, it was none other than Rin Seinaru, a hybrid Iramasha that had bypassed the Alekto Barrier and was now on her way home. She was returning from Karakura Central, the tiny child having gone several days prior to visit her aunt.
Now, the blonde child was headed home to regale her mothers and siblings with stories of what happened during her stay. She doesn’t immediately notice the foreigner, however when she does her humming ceases as does her movement. She stares at the man who doesn’t feel like he belongs in the Iramasha realm. Though the Gia Front and Galene Seas was a sight to behold, she saw no particular reason why he would stay to admire the place when the realm had much more to offer. And so, she assumed that he was either waiting for someone, really liked the place, or didn’t know where to go from here.
Regardless, she approaches him, the blonde seeing a good opportunity to be a good samaritan, and stops several feet before him. She smiles at him and says:
“Hello mister. You seem lost, can I help you?”

Qiang's brow perked as he heard the voice behind him. This was promising as he turned and looked towards the child. Puzzling so there were beings out here as well. She didn't feel like Mirja per says, something was different here as well. She was something of entirely her own bundle of interesting. He heard the question as he sighed a bit rubbing the back of his neck. It was pretty obvious that he had the worst sense of direction. Following his instincts got him in trouble pretty often. "Yeah, I was heading for the Seireitei and got a bit lost. The map I was given is written in a language I've never seen." He said honestly admitting his problem with a smile. Qiang could get lost with the best of them. King's didn't mean you had a perfect sense of direction. He didn't try to hide it or pretend it wasn't there. This was, of course, something he could do on his own. Keeping in mind that his sense of direction was extremely bad. That was an easy admission for him in the long run.
Qiang held the map out for the female child to read. He didn't understand the strange writing or dialect chosen by Mirja. It didn't help he decided to come without Yusuke. Letting him handle the situation within the Eastern Sugiura Kingdom. Qiang couldn't really help but shrug his shoulders. The journey was more important than the Destination. That was the true fact and belief of him. A warrior could encounter all sort of people on his way. Nothing was set in stone or practical within this truth. "I'm Li Qiang, it's nice to meet you." He said giving an introduction to the female now. It was strange to see such a vast area and one kid in it. The world seemed much larger and that small flickering flame in the distance. It felt like something he could grasp and find his way to truth. This wasn't something he could let go without reason. Qiang couldn't really think of a good reason to cancel this journey. Sure he was slightly late for a meeting with the Gotei and their people.
He could simply tell them the truth of the matter. He wasn't the most well cordinated sort when it came too travel and going around places. Qiang had a long way to go in that world. But a King of Fools could still be something in the end.

Seireitei? From what Rin could recall of such a name was the realm of the Shinigami that she had heard and read about. She had never been there before, but she knew of the method to enter the realm and it certainly wasn’t the same as how one entered the realm of the Iramasha. Though she was inclined to interrogate the man about how he confused the two different methods of entering the realms, she kept her mouth shut. After all, he hadn’t brushed her off yet and using harsh and critical words right now may very well change his mind about wanting her help. Besides, the Iramasha realm was much better than the Seireitei and so, she believed he would enjoy himself better here than there.
“You got the wrong place, Mr. Qiang. You are where the Iramasha live.”
She finally says. She nods her head at the last sentence the exit her mouth, as if assuring herself that they were in fact where she said they were.
“You aren’t far from it though!”
She chirps, a grin appearing on her face as she points to the ground
“You just have to go down.”
Though there was nothing to see, Rin believes that she has communicated what she means rather clearly. The Iramasha Realm did sit above the Seireitei and so, the most logical way to get there was down. And, luckily for him, she could very well show him how to accomplish that, but only after she gave him the grand tour of the settlement.
“I can show you, but you should explore here too before going! I promise, as Rin Seinaru, that you’ll love this place more than Seireitei.”
