A Trip Gone South

THE BEGINNING OF AN ERA
SAISEI

フェイクガール
It was that time of the year again it seemed, the heat and rain that swarmed its way across the Karakura City landscape seemed to have followed Saisei to the ends of the earth. It was midday, a small visit to a neighboring country known as South Korea was all but the most simple of visits. Saisei had only heard bits and pieces of what the Organization known as K-World was like, the current rulers of South Korea. There wasn't much to it, really. It seemed to the young boy that the major difference between the Organizations located within Karakura and K-World was the methods they used. Nevertheless, the boy ventured to his newly decided destination for one reason and one reason only. Stagnation.
The Monsoon-like environment was unwelcomed on arrival, Saisei finding himself quickly from within the safety of a small station to the still bustling streets of Busan. As if the people were accustomed to the sea-like weather, a native Karakura residence only knew of the smallest taste of such conditions. To make matters worse, while those around the boy continued to strut and go about their business just fine due to what Saisei assumed were custom made umbrellas that were sold just about anywhere a department store existed, Saisei found himself without any protection to the rain. What was meant to be a trip for growth and expanding on his future goals that his father had instructed him on quickly boiled down to a race from one building to another until he eventually found himself stranded entirely.
Heavy breathing followed confused looks around the very little room he had alongside the tight sidewalk of Busan's south side. Using the sidewalk as a small alcove beneath an extended sign from the building Saisei rested against was the one saving grace the human found in the entirety of South Korea so far. Conditions were poor, everyone seemed too busy to speak to and the odd one out was clearly being ignored by most that walked by. There was little room for the improvement and growth Saisei seeked, making it rather clear what his next step would be.
"First thing's first. Let's try to find some sort of lodging. Gotta make sure I don't stand out in the rain for too long without protection..." And so, the boy continued to quietly ramble to himself as the streets of Busan continued to move with little effort. Saisei had a plan, whether or not he would have any lucky in succeeding in such a new place was rather questionable but surely not everything was against the boy. He hoped.
