» Item Description: Barrier bombs are primarily designed for invasion usages, but Monsuta operatives can use them as they see fit. With that said, most of these bombs are equal in size to your average bottle of water and make it easier for them to carry it in combat. There will often be multiple different squads of NPC's or private characters that will go through different key portions in a city in order to activate them at the same time. Since, when the all clear is given, they will detonate the device and it will take up a space equal to three city blocks or so.

When this item is detonated, most will see a golden glow emitting in the area that it affects and it can happen quickly as this bomb covers the region it effects within one post of it's detonation. However, they often prefer to use it at the start of a combat or towards the end because these are the times where resistance is often low. It is unlikely that they will use it in the middle of a fight with a constant threat because the shield can be destroyed from within. As, externally, the shield is potent enough to tank 0 tier attacks given it was created by Specimen Abel's reserves and should be able to handle an equal amount of abuse that a 0 tier characters release can.

However, internally, it's more fragile and a powerful eruption from a skilled or powerful character can disrupt it internally. So, it's advised that they make sure most dangerous threats to The Monsuta are taken care of before these barrier bombs start detonating in a war time circumstance. Furthermore, these barrier bombs just temporary measures before the Monsuta can bring in more of their resources to an area. So that is why they are connected to The Monsuta's own GRID Network and are used as transportation hubs to allow wormholes to come through to import different types of equipment and people to start building up their defenses within a newly conquered region.
