Fly on the Wall [PRIVATE-Andy]

Song: Evangelion X - By: Anonymuz - Word Count: 576
Soft... this bed is to soft. I don't like it, I sink into the stupid mattress too much.
Kanna's eyes opened, finding a strong boredom was afflicting his mind. He began playing with his bugs, making them form images in the air above him. He had spent most of the night with a cute blonde servant but even that doesn't keep the scheming prince satisfied. He longed for something, information, something of subsistence and purpose. The last few months had been bored, unlike last year when the moon blew up! Damn the guy that did that must've been good.
The Sugiura had appreciated the ruckus that had been caused by Moon Massacre, expecting war to break out and he could finally get to work with his own plans but no. Somehow even with the death of the Vanguard's leader, moon base and all the casualties still didn't set off a conflict between the good and evil factions of the multi-verse, this damn waiting was growing old. Perhaps there was something in this large facility that could keep him entertained, in more ways than the most simplest way. Someone smart or someone he could build progress into making an excellent pawn.
Getting off the bed finally he didn't care if the movement disturbed the other girl. In fact there was not a chance of her waking up for quite a while, having been placed into a deep sleep by Kanna with a simple drug concoction he left her there with a few bugs scattered around his room which he could see through. Being able to perceive through his bugs was always fun and interesting.
Having made himself look pretty with his standard attire of a black shirt and pants with a black trench coat on top to finish it off. His small swarm which he didn't want to leave in his room raced towards him before entering his pores and leaving no trace of their existence that was when he'd step into the hallway. Wide and lacking in most forms of regal ornamentation, Kanna always thought it was transparent unlike the other kingdoms that would decorate and hide their nature under the cloth of their riches the North believed not in such things.
"Hmm... Let's see who's around at the moment."
Roughly a hundred bugs would fly out of his body and begin looking through the hallway, travelling individually and being inconspicuous so that they didn't draw much attention. Eventually he'd find one of interest, sure not the most intellectual character but one that he was fond of and knew well.
With a target found he used his chi to glide through the air towards his target, the lovely Eleanor. A member of the Kingsguard and a caretaker he has had since he was but a boy. He approached from behind although it was hardly going to surprise him if she knew he was there.
"Well, well, well. Hello there Ellie. Isn't it funny the people you run into on a stroll down the corridors? How's the guard duty, nobody sneaking about I hope."
Using a mixture of facetiousness and humour the prince would grin mischievously like a kid that was doing something he shouldn't be although really he was doing nothing of the sort, at the moment, unless disrupting a guard was on the "things not to do" list.

Dedicated was one of the few words that couple completely describe and encapsulate who Eleanor was. Actually patrolling the castle walls was simultaneously below her station as a Knight, having been elevated to as close to nobility as someone of her birth possibly could be, and a relatively pointless gesture. Ignoring that actually attempting to attack the Northern Castle with both Kamui and Sagumi here would be rather questionable tactically, one would think Eleanor could "patrol" from the comfort of her own room. The royal and a scant smattering of other officers and Knights knew about Eleanor's lineage, the Zeitskennen in her possession, but very few knew the full capabilities...and weaknesses, of her Mystic Eye. She had never been in a hurry to let them know that it was not infallible and she had definitely never made mention that she was completely blind to Kamui's future. If her Zeitskennen could be obstructed, then she needed to physically walk the halls as well, perhaps her other senses would alert her to something her Zeitskennen could not. Of course, that had never happened. Eleanor was not able to claim to be especially sharp in her other senses despite her efforts and on top of that, there really had never been anything that needed her attention in the many years she had gone on similar patrols.
It was this sense monotony that had actually let Kanna "sneak" up on her. The Zeitskennen required more than a little focus on its target to really be able to capture the full breadth of their timelines. Her mind had wandered to Aceldama and her rather happy life that had come before and would at the very least continue for the next few years. To Izayoi as he inspired those around him, to Hael as she ruminated on her little schemes and plots...to the black and unknowing void that was Kamui...then a voice would break her reverie and her Zeitskennen returned to focusing on the present. It was fascinating how much information the brain truly could process through sheer sensory information. Even without physically seeing the servant presently fast asleep in the boys room through her Zeitskennen, it would seem Kanna did not especially see hygiene as a necessary element to a healthy lifestyle or, at the very least, the boy felt the need to wear his latest conquest as a badge of honor and between him and Kamui, Eleanor had gotten more then accustomed to the stench of sex. It was not just Kanna in the present picture that she saw though. The boy's curious guardian beast had filtered throughout the room as well.
Eleanor did not react at first to the boy's words. Even after all this she was still a little awkward when it came to communication with people who put stock in facial expressions. It took her a few moments to realize what she was doing and she turned herself around, letting her glossy, brilliant blue eyes rest on Kanna's face. These facial gestures were important to people with conventional sight according to Aceldama and Eleanor did indeed try her best, but such things were rather difficult for her. Her expression was blank and empty, but familiarity had let most of the Cruor children more or less understand what was going through Eleanor's mind and through that blank expression young Kanna would be able to decipher the genuinely quizzical look she was giving him. She was not entirely sure why it was funny that she was doing the same thing she was doing for the majority of her time in the North and little Kanna's question confused her and she slowly began to shake her head in denial of any potential intruders but she stopped short. This was the "humor" these children loved to employ. Another pointless convention Aceldama's children partook in that Eleanor was forever doomed to never understand. She tried to smile, which was what she understood to be the appropriate response to humor as laughter was impossible for her, but without any visuals to compare it to, her smile ended up looking closer to someone getting punched in the gut than a sign of enjoyment.
Eleanor brought a hand up to her chest and made a few small gestures with her fingers. All of the Cruor children were relatively familiar with the rudimentary forms of sign language that Eleanor and Sagumi had put together for her to speak to the children, typically to reprimand them when they were younger. It was not especially an expansive system of conversation, but it was enough to convey the current crux of the matter. Twisting her fingers in to the sign, she directly conveyed the word "Bath." She held the sign for a moment before letting her hand drop back down to her side. She could still smell him from there.

Watching the very attractive blonde woman take it one step at a time, he walked backwards while in front of her. Behaving like a child in many regards, it was a relationship he held only with Eleanor though. This game of mischief and facetiousness with her which stemmed from his childhood behaviour. It seemed like yesterday he'd run about these halls, before he created Phylum, before he even became a fully-fledged genius who sought out multiverse domination. A simpler time when he'd run around the halls making mischief and pranks for people, he always loved to manipulate as well. Getting people to fall for his traps was half the fun and Eleanor got quite the fair share of those pranks as one of his caretakers.
Nevertheless he looked at her sign to him.. a bath? What on earth was she... ooooh. A bath. Kanna smirked a little, realising he hadn't kept his bugs on top of that factor. Using them in his pores meant that for the most part they would be inside his skin and keep that terrible curse of body odour away from him thanks to the hive body. Raising his hand he clicked his fingers and the small swarm flew back into his skin from its observation point before working on that issue. After about a minute Eleanor would find that scent had been eliminated.
"Better? I hope that everything is to your liking."
Giving her an exaggerated bow that was more for effect, not that she'd see it of course in the conventional way. The red-head prince began to walk, gesturing for Eleanor to follow if she was finished looking around with her eyes. The young man lead them down the corridor before entering a small area that Kanna used for study. Unlike his room Eleanor wouldn't need to worry her pretty little and sensitive nose with the scent of Kanna here. He liked this room spotless, no scents either since he performed experiments here. Namely on Entomology and bugs, the entire room had glass tanks and different colonies of insects in them,
"So Ellie... what's been happening in the kingdoms? What have you heard or know? I would love to hear those juicy details as well."
It was a little frustrating really since this woman was nigh-omniscient and the best source of information you could have but she had to give up the way to communicate it. The use of hands made it good but still limited in some areas. Nevertheless he would love to know what he could snatch from her brain and use.
