"Nerdy Meeting Of Intellectuals!"[Private/ Kai]

Here he was again, the same city where he had all kinds of issues due to a rather..odd experience his last time upon being here. He recalls it like it was yesterday: A powerful female with a piercing gaze that was as cold as ice dancing toe to toe with a enemy who was far out of his league. All he was worried about throughout their brawl was just getting people out safely, and he has been haunted by the daunting fact he was too weak to do much to stop that woman. Certainly, he needed to get stronger. At the same time knowing how safe everything was around here, he didn’t need to be in too big of a rush.
He sighed, rubbing his head and shaking it in disappointment, then pulling his hoodie over his head. Combined with the red sweats, the red hoodie made him look a bit like a bum of sorts.
“Just thinking about it again…all seems like some kind of bad dream. She could have killed me- I would have died if it weren’t for that woman… maybe I’ll see her again some day, a thank you is the least I could do!”
He tried to keep his spirits up despite his negative feelings towards the situation and made his way along the strip of stores and shops. The futuristic city always did leave him at awe, but he was concerned with other matters at the moment. The only way to keep his spirits up would be to do something that wouldn’t make him have to think about this so hard. So that being said, he headed to the nearest arcade and quickly inserted the change into the machine. He started to play a random fighting game and took his anger out on the AI, and he seem to be doing pretty good! Upon seeing his success, he smiled and continued to play the game all the more- not even bothering himself with the outside world any longer. There was absolutely nothing in the world that could stop this moment of immersion.
Or so, he hoped.
"Winners win, losers lose. I can't explain it any better than that.I don't know how it happens, but winners win.And if you create a culture of losing, if you keep being a victim,if you keep letting losing happen to you. If you keep letting people do you and treat you any kind of way it's gonna become a culture."

Titles given to famous resort and economically central cities of the past all seemed to apply to Karakura. "City of Lights", "City that never sleeps", Capital of the world"....it was as if the eminence of history's mightiest urban centers had all been eclipsed by this megalopolis. Not only was it the largest commerce hub in this half of the world, but it also acted as a military fortress impenetrable to all but the most powerful beings in the universe. Kai considered Karakura to be an unmatched engineering marvel which put even the greatest of history's wonders to shame.
Though usually someone like him would only enter this city on business thanks to his busy schedule, today Kai had made time for a bit of a field trip. His recent adventures had left him a bit battered and raw, physically tired to his core on a level the young man had never experienced in his short life. This was more of a leisurely excursion than anything else. Kai had already visited various noteworthy tourist attractions and ate lunch at an incredibly expensive restaurant, which he felt he probably should not have done afterward. Still, the day had been going as well as it could've so far. Kai had spent the past hour or so simply wandering around the capital's busting streets without a care in the world.
Eventually Kai walked past an old school amusement arcade which caught his eye. As a boy he never really got to play games of any kind due to the traditionalist emphasis on hard work above all else his father preached so he figured why not, turned around, and walked directly into the outlandish, neon light-lit building. After a few moments of observing the scene in front of him consisting of children and young adults running to and fro from gaming machine to machine, Kai noticed one person in particular whom he thought he recognized. The person was wearing a crimson jacket which matched his oddly rouge hair and resembled a person Kai had gone to university with a few years back. Walking up to the man intently engaged with whatever game he was playing, Kai placed his hand on his left shoulder to get his attention. "Hey, is that you Liam? Its me, Kai! From school!"
