Li Qiang [APPROVED, 1-4]
Tue Jul 04, 2017 3:34 pm
Word Count: --
General Information
Name: He was given the name Li Qiang by his parents, the name means strength. Something he has shown and been a part of since his younger years. Showcasing some rather impressive feats of his might and strength as a person. Li Qiang may lack in some areas but in terms of strength, this is where he stands tall.
His name has come to reflect that and mean that for his people. Li Qiang is a name spoken in confidence as the man has yet to fail his people. Despite his own belief that he's done nothing but fail them.
Age:He is one of the few who remembers their time before they came to this place. Li Qiang is One Thousand Years old, while likely not the oldest of their people. His age and experience do come in handy from time to time. His age is a key to his success in the long run.
Race:Li Qiang like many of his people is a Soldier Suigura. He is someone who believes and studies in this way of fighting above all else. The race also is fitting given the name he has often attached to him as an alias.
Rank:He is the known King of the East, known for making a stand against the enemy in the homelands. Though it cost him dearly and some considered him and his kin mad for what they did. It was something that did lead to the safety of those around them.
Alias: He is famous for one that has stuck since his younger years. The Warrior King Li Qiang, he’s shown to be exceptionally skilled at fighting and warfare. It seems that he earned this title in large part for what his Origin is. He was also given the name Li Qiang the Crimson, due to his attire on battlefields and all things. The Red Emperor
Origin: Li Qiang has the Origin of Warrior, something not many would expect or fully understand in its nature. But he represents it well and carries his origin like a pride of sorts. Warriors are few and far between in these days of politics and things. There is a place for word and one for the blade.
Occupation: His duty is first and foremost as a King, to rule his people with the best methods he can. But as for his second duty is that of a Warrior. He is a man who strives to be the best warrior he can. Not taking short cuts or practicing false pretenses or such things. He studies each thing with an open mind to better himself. Taking from what he believes is best to make it his own and develop into a refined warrior. He's said to of developed a martial arts form from fencing.
Physical Appearance: The first striking thing is his eyes of a grayish blue stand out almost hauntingly. Some people claim this is coming from his skill with the Mystic Eyes. But his eyes have always been this way. Making him out to be a bit scarier because the belief is he see’s everything. That it’s almost impossible to hide things from the male. His hair is white and messy for the most part, but he normally does comb it and keep it well kept for political situations. Showing that even a Warrior King understands the difference between the two worlds that linger. His complexion is something of a strange case of worlds for most who see him. He seems quite pale and unhealthy. Till his body is seen, due to his nature as a warrior. He has forgone the idea that a body must be a certain way. Training himself relentlessly as the protector and warrior for his people. He believes in defending the Sugiura people and using his skills to do so is all that matters. On his right arm symbols and markings can be seen on his hand and up his wrist. These markings are only visible normally when he wears his political attire which is listed below. He keeps his nails and body well kept showing few scars. Despite being a warrior he doesn't seem to carry any on him. While this is in large part a simple fact of who he is the larger sum. His body seem's to be something perfect that has been refined out of marble and other such things to create its proportions.
Political Attire: A red cloak is worn over his form, the cloak is crimson with black and gold symbols on the fabrics ends. Symbols of the sun among other things can be spotted along the outfit in the form of bronze medals. These are hung as a part of his clan's personal practice and beliefs. While he doesn't care for the cloak and dagger of things it does fit. On his wrist are several gold bracelets he wears that are often times covering his tattoos on his right hand. His other hand is often times exposed and free as well. Underneath the cloak, he wears a part of pants and martial arts style muscle shirt. It's buttoned up the middle and has little of his muscles under it. But it does serve the purpose that is set out for in this situation. He doesn't dress like this often or either way often. To his knowledge and belief, Li believes that men are equal on all sides. When a man steps onto the battlefield, they are not kings or queens. Rank means nothing in this place as all are equal.
Warrior Attire: The secret he doesn't let on is that he only dresses so showy for one reason. When he enters the fray and battlefield he can protect his men. By making enemies focusing on him and fighting as a true warrior King. Despite the title, he is far smarter than people believe. Along his back is a feathered style cloak that is Crimson. It is not easy to grab as it comes off and the feathers simply pull out. The outfit under it is a black suit of sorts that covers his frame. It's a type of light fabric that acts as chain mail among other things. This allows for him to be protected and guarded against most attacks. Over his frame in several locations are bronze pieces of metal. Around both hands are a style of bronze gauntlets. They act more like wrist guards but protect his fingers on the top side. A similar style is used around his feet and other parts of his body. On his left arm is a circle similar to a sun of bronze that seems weightless among other things.
Around his torso is wrappings of bronze as well. By making himself the target he is able to fight enemies without worrying about his friends. Li Qiang has always been of a mind to challenge and handle situations on his own. Around his neck is a choker with spikes also made of bronze that stands out. But part of his entire attire is to stand out on purpose. Finally and likely the most noted thing is the Crimson gem in the center of his chest. It has seven bronze pieces of metal in different sizes around it forming a heart of sorts. It's unknown entirely why his combat form takes this appearance. Or what purpose this gem and those pieces serve overall. Li doesn't generally tell people his secrets or practices without reason. His belief and ideals are something that the man much like his attires. Can change and be affected by his experience in this world.
Residence: Qiang's home should be noted as the Palace of the Eastern Suigura. Often spending his time among generals and those who would serve him. His duty as a King often requires him to remain in such a place. Attending balls and other such royal rivalries that simply drive him insane. The upper echelon of people seemed to of lost their taste for blood. In his eyes, they've fallen to be mere cockroaches scurrying around his throne. Desiring to nibble and bite at pieces of the scraps from his table. Instead of grabbing the God given the right to a better thing. Such pathetic beings often times merely tire him. Thus his true home of residence lays in the Palace's royal section. Away from the Throne and such tiresome people. While he has no relatives or family left. It can be noted that while alone he trains or reads. What quiet time he is allowed is spent in meditation thinking about threats. Those who may cause the Suigura to fight again for their home. What sort of friends lurk in the dark ready to pounce. If he lowers his guard again like so long ago. If he pretends or acts like safety is here because others believe it so. This residence is his palace of peace and tranquility away from the masses and their noise.
Frequent Locations: One thing has remained the same and constant within his life of strife and pain. Qiang trains for perfection to find the readiness to fight the tides of war again. The Li Clan once fought to give an opening for them to have a future. He prepares himself to do a similar feat this time but for here. Qiang intends not to buy time unless he must with noble sacrifices or such things. As a warrior King, he could only do a single thing for his people. In this nature, he can be found in the training hall constantly training. Either his body, energy, or mind as he practices with weapons. He's a martial master using anything he can get his hands on.
Personality
A Warrior's Heart:Somethings aren't so clear or clean in this world. In the Li Tribe, it was made clear that one day a King would be born. One who embraced the Warrior's Heart to its completion. Qiang was that man who would take it to a place that no one had ever fathomed. Going further and beyond anyone in the time, he was born. From his time he could walk he embraced the culture of a warrior. Toning and working on his body, studying strategy and fighting skills. He sharpened his skills to dangerous levels even as a boy. Fighting all the time and developing a resolve to lead his people. Many believed the Li Tribe's patriarch was the King for some reason but that wasn't how it functioned in the East.
It was set completely different from the belief that a King was chosen based on the origin. They believed in the culture of warriors of being specialists in that regard. Fighting was their art and they were masters of it in several aspects. They were the ones who took to the field to fight and defend them. Qiang made his name and reputation as a man with the heart of a warrior known quickly. The perception of him was an effective defense and offense. People would mistake him as a youth without any experience. Thus trying to hold back against someone who was quite frankly a monster. He understands what it means to be a warrior truly beyond what anyone else would fathom. Even in his thousand years of life, he's never faltered from it. A man of the Li doesn't falter but it's beyond that. True Warriors must accept the consequences of choices made. They must be ready to handle and take whatever comes from it.
For you see Qiang has lead men to both victory and defeat. Made choices when they were harder to make than imaginable. Nothing compares to leaving behind people to die so others may escape. Often times he would put himself at the rear guard. To protect those lives that were precious. But once it became clear of his royalty for his nation. He was no longer allowed to be so altruistic for everyone. It had become a need for him and his clan to do what was required of them. They would lead the Eastern Suigura to a safety. They would continue and protect and be that clan. Qiang simply had to become something beyond just a simple warrior. He couldn't be mindless and hit things, he had to think. To find ways to be something more. Devotion and strength are something all warriors have. Qiang realized that mental stability and trust were important. So he began to forge bonds of trust and respect the code they lived by. Changing his process of thinking of that to a man who established himself more.
Warriors are a different type of people having the heart of one isn't something simple. A lot of people hear the term warrior and believe it means simple-minded thug or foot soldier. Someone who stands on the front lines without consideration. Growth and becoming a warrior that his people could follow. That called for so much more as his choices held a weight and burden to them. Akin to making a gamble of choices and studying his enemy. He began to truly gain the true aspect of a warrior as time passed. He became known for a reputation back then, now it's even stronger. As the man who came into battle prepared to kill thousands. He would defeat as many men as possible, acting as an Achilles for his kingdom. He would use his might and fight to stay the loss of blood for his Clan. While the Li Clan had always put its effort and blood into the east. It was well known that each member of the family was destined to be fighters of a high caliber. He was no different in this regard, Qiang was a warrior among warriors.
A King's Wisdom: Wisdom is a king's key to a future in most cases. Sometimes they earn it through study or other means. For Qiang, it was learned from failure and success. Learning tactically when to withdraw and when to fight. Learning that a warrior's honor isn't important for a king. That King's must adhere to a different set of rules than others. While a warrior on the field need worry of how he looks to peers. It's the King's duty to see the bigger picture and always look for advantages. To see the long-term strategy, not just the single battle they fight. Qiang's path to this it took time and many failures. He wasn't a King who's coat tails were built on success. He lost friends and people as quickly as he got them. He has suffered loss and dealing with things few others could imagine. He's seen the difference between a losing and winning battle. Qiang's gotten immeasurable experience from his days of old within that realm.
King's aren't born or selected by a people they are made. Through trial and error of their time ruling a people. No King is perfect or flawless nor can he please all people. What a King must do at all times is see that full picture others can't. Some warriors will scoff at the notion of a King of them. Someone who represents the warriors and the path they've taken. This isn't something that comes without purpose or principle. Qiang's had to learn and gauge what it means to be both. Understanding that a King is needed but so too is a warrior. Power isn't something that makes a man or King. You can be the strongest man in the world and still feel helpless. Qiang's experienced that before realizing even with his martial skills. That he cannot change some things no matter how he tries. Immaturity in his youth would often drive him towards blaming others. But quick realization that no one else is to blame for choices of others. You honor the sacrifice and road of blood paved for you.
But that is only one thing a King must observe that he realized in his time. Politics and other things are required of a King. Being able to speak and confirm when required. A king must be flexible and yet strong at the same time. It's a thing that truly requires patience as failure is a constant occurrence. Always will you find even in Qiang's court those who doubt or pretend he isn't good enough? Those who will speak and make idle chatter instead of standing firm. They are dogs with tails between their legs merely barking. This is all Qiang hears when he regards them. But at the same time, he takes each thing in and makes a mental note of it. but Qiang isn't without his supporters and bodyguards. People who stand alongside him in the carnage he's faced. Those would walk into hell alongside him with a grin. That is the company that this King keeps, he's a survivor of Carnage. One who's walked through the time training and doing everything in his power to protect the East.
The East is burning red, the passion of the King must forever have his spirit burning. If he is to rule he must be ready to take a stand and fight for his people. Warriors must burn in the hearts of all people and see this. Qiang isn't any different in this regard, his practice and belief have always been devoted to the singular cause. He may not be invincible or some unbreakable monster. But Qiang is the Warrior King and he will let the East Burn with his passion and fury. Let them feel and emerge ready for conflict and to push the Suigura people to stand again. He doesn't have a single bone in his body for backing down. Qiang may make shows of backing down or retreating. But every single thought is put towards the future. Everything is about the pride and honor for the Suigura. He won't allow them to be dishonored or retreat again. They won't fall from grace again. They lost one home so long as he's King another will not fall. That is a vow he swore as a King to his people and his friends.
A Charismatic Fool: To say that this Masquerade of a life has only developed a single side to Qiang is completely false. He's got a strange aura that just draws people in. But there is something about his personality that sticks out to those who know him. They want to cheer and root for him generally. Because he just has a way with words and how he does things. He can disarm people with just his personality at times. Showcasing a side few people would expect of a Warrior King. But for him, he's always believed that people are different and have layers. Broken dreams and other things remain completely submerged beneath the surface. While a layer on top is devoted to just trying to survive. People are complicated and diverse figures who can't be defined by single things. Qiang is no different he has a cheerful side even relaxed one. Showing off just how carefree and calm he can be. Often times carrying around alcohol with him during these times.
Showing himself to be a drunk to those who would see him in such a way. Perception is a powerful weapon, it's something that few people expect. When they see the serious nature it catches them off guard. But no side of him is unlikable. He's a good ruler and has always put his people first. Never pretending to forsake his principals for anything. Everyone has a reason to be who they are in Qiang's eyes. There are places one should wish for and one shouldn't in the darkest pits of the void. This is the common truth behind everything. Dream big but never give up reality for it's the battle worth winning. Qiang's personality is something that can't be expressed in one or two words. He's defined by action and everything he does. Devoting himself to the system and practice of waiting for the ideal moment. This is the reason he's decided to stay away from the world. To avoid getting involved till he was absolutely certain. That his people were ready for the tribulations and trials to begin again.
Inner Awakening: One doesn't live as long as Qiang has without baggage piling up. This is something that comes with the course and has never since been different or something else. He's spent a long amount of time by himself and away from the world around him. Meditating and training his mind along with his body. Qiang understands failure and has decided to learn from it instead of running from it. People can't grow without failure in his eyes they this to become more. His people failed tremendously in his eyes for that home world. They were unable to beat those enemies. He knows the conditions of their stay and hopes to make this world permanent for them. But for that, they need strength and something more. Intelligence and resolve to stand firm in the face of adversity and take it head on. This is what will define and mark him as a King. His ability to understand and take the time to himself whenever possible to search for answers within. To find a truth and practice his hand at getting even more.
Night Terrors: Some scars don't heal no matter how good someone is. It isn't a question of a person who can heal these injuries. Some experiences remain as nightmares and remain deep within the self-conscious of a person. Never fading away or departing their memories. This is simply the way things are in reality, Qiang while he is strong and doesn't show it. He suffers from night terrors and occasionally speaks in his sleep of them. But the way it happens isn't if ear, it's his endurance. An acceptance of pain that few others can take. This is why the man has built himself up differently from others. Qiang is known for being strong and capable by most who know of him. But every person has a soft or a burden they must bear. For him, it is the horrors of his past. The truth of the prison beneath his torment goes deep into the psychological abuse of a father. The practice of people trying to create something perfect. They only found that perfection is but a pretense, the fact is that no such thing exists. Instead, they made a simply damaged man.
Journal Entry
"When I write my thoughts it's so rare, occasionally I forget people expect manners or tongue holding. When people come to see a King they expect something in their mind. Some self-serving thing that is supposed to be a shell for his people. It's a nonsense that they seem to construct out of fairy tails and dreams. The fact is a King needs to be much more than some bullshit thing of fairy tails and pixies. I don't approve of lying or stupid things like that. Legends and storytellers seem to have one thing in common. Different degree's of bullshit to add to their colorful portraits of things. People spread my legend speaking as though they were there. They make one man be one hundred, a child to be a hardened warrior. The fact is no matter the tongue or story, bullshit will always be that. Men don't need legends or things like that, nor do a King's people. Show them something beyond that, bullshit won't motivate or change things. I must be a King before a warrior, but I shall never let low my prowess. I will go past their legends and stories, destroying any claim they make. Men don't need some fantasy, they need the real thing. If I spoke of Hercules and of his fated legends or spoke of some other on earth. Does that make him appear mythically and shoot fireworks out his ass? No, it doesn't, the fact of the matter is I better or worse than legends. I am the Warrior King Li Qiang, and I don't intend to let some pretender write bullshit about me."
The Li Clan
Clan Information: The Li Clan came about in the battlefields and earned a name for themselves in the sands of conflict. Known for devastating skills and prowess in that field. Li Jing the Clan's former Patriarch believed heavily in practice from the time of walking. The former home of the Suigura was an unforgiving place. Mistakes meant death and the difference between that and life were felt keenly. This clan was warriors and masters of the martial skills. They were considered one of the more formidable families in the Suigura resources. Due largely to tradition and strange practices. The Clan Leader did not act as a King but an advisor. This was the way they'd set up their system. The King had to represent something different from what Jing did.
Unlike many who would use it as an excuse to seize power, he and his wife Li Shu listened to customs. Customs were what made a Clan something different from the everyday thing. They obeyed and followed them closely never deviating from the call of the Li Clan. Prowess and the mastery of a warrior were what was needed. Not a political dictator something like that. No those who were from their lands knew the cry well. The Li Clan would act as a vanguard to that future if need be. But would not bite that hand without reason. They were both the guardians of the future and the rulers. They didn't envision Qiang being the son who would rule. He was born with the correct Origin and birth. Everything aligned and this was what lead to their downfall. The Li Clan decided to remain behind and face the Tig-Ani without any end. They would die a warriors death and provide a future for the Suigura. This was the price the Li Clan could pay honorably. In blood and skill, they would fight as long as lungs drew breath and bodies could move.
Former Patriarch of Clan: Li Jing
Former Matriarch of Clan:Li Shu
Relationships
Li Jing: Qiang's father and former Patriarch leader of the Li Clan. He also served as an advisor and part leader for their people. While this wasn't a common occurrence for a King to not be his father. Jing seemed to wield his duty carefully and keep things calm. But given he was the Suigura of Harmony it is easy to understand why. Jing believed strongly that Harmony didn't mean survival. He knew what was needed and acted on that. He could keep peace and make sure things remained calm. But that wasn't what the King needed to be, the King needed something far greater. This wasn't going to do in the long term or even short. Qiang's father and he had a very interesting relationship. As when his father realized Qiang would be a King. The training his brothers and sister got was a walk in the park. Qiang's became a living hell in that way. His father decided to make his son undergo training of the most brutal fashion.
He did it to ensure his son was a strong King. He didn't want his offspring to fail after waiting so long. It can be said Jing lost sight of things and became passionate about this. With his wife by his side, it mattered little how often Qiang broke. They would fix him again and begin over once more. This was the process that would build a King among Suigura. Jing's faith in this wasn't misplaced but for Qiang, his father and he had an estranged relationship. He to this day suffers from night terrors of his father's actions. Suffering torture and other things to merely make him stronger. His father subjected him to experimental things to try and enhance the skills his son had. Going as far as to fight him without holding back when Qiang was only a small child. Qiang doesn't hate or hold a grudge against the man. For without him he wouldn't be who he is. Qiang has accepted the past and moved on from it. Unlike many who wear those irons to the grave, he's refused to be weighed down by them.
Li Shu:Qiang's mother the Suigura of Restoration, she spent her time some would think as a caring mother. But the fact was she used her powers to enable his father. She was a kind mother but understood what was needed. Making sure Qiang was taken care of in this aspect. In truth, his mother and father seemed to see the crown more after his birth. Some people even remarked their personalities had changed. To become something more calm and calculating. Seeing what needed to be done over what they wanted. In his time as a child, Qiang never was hugged by his mother or father. They saw him as a King and treated him distantly. His father would pit him against monsters alone. Allowing no one to draw a sword or help his son, this was simply the fact. This wasn't something Shu always agreed with as the two did argue sometimes. She would fight occasionally for her son's life to be spared from some things. Arguing the risk of losing him wasn't worth the training reward.
While her healing is the reason that Qiang is alive today. It took stamina from his body for her to heal him. This wasn't a cheating of death, she wasn't someone who could undo that. That wasn't something even she could do. Qiang and his mother relationship were estranged due to the nature of his parents. While he wears the clan name like a badge of honor. He's accepted that his parents didn't act as such. They acted as those raising someone for a position. Grooming someone to do something they wouldn't. His mother and he may not have hugged or spent any time together. His mind is what it was, he'd of broken eventually and died. If not for other members of his family who stepped up. They knew how to shield and help him along without breaking him. They would aid him when his parents suspected nothing. This was the role his siblings played. Shu had some ideas on it but said nothing to Jing. To Qiang, this was the one act of love his mother displayed towards him since his birth.
Li Fu: His eldest brother, the Suigura who was born of the Origin of Earth. Or something that meant his brother could manipulate and control such things. Fu and Qiang shared a close bond, Fu would protect Qiang in his own ways. Making sure his brother was trained well enough. Not going to the extremes that his father would in torturing him. Fu made sure that something of a fatherly influence existed for Qiang. Something outside the terror that his father often put him through. Fu was the one who came when the night terrors of torture started. He was the one who argued with his father to stop treating Qiang like a King and more a Son. This was why he held a close bond with his brother. Fu was the light which kept the dark world of his childhood illuminated. This is something that hasn't changed then or now. Fu acted as the father for Qiang when no such being existed, the defender against the parents. He was a sturdy protector against the dark world. Really living up to his title as the Suigura of Earth.
Even when his life drew to a close, Fu was someone who made certain things were ready. In the Li Clan, it was best to describe him as the Earth beneath or the foundation that kept them together. This was simply the truth and way of things when it came to Fu. Qiang will always hold and respect his eldest brother for what he accomplished. Managing to hold a broken family together for so long with just his brother and sister. Fu may have been the rock of that trio, but he didn't ever think of himself as better. He merely conducted himself in a way that was admirable to Xiang. He never seemed to falter or lose his way, something about that spoke to his little brother a great deal. While Xiang doesn't know if his brother survived that fatal encounter so long ago. He does harbor some hope that if anyone could make it and lead through such a hopeless situation. But even if he could return to their world and destroy the enemies. It is unlikely that his brothers and sisters would forgive him for dishonoring them.
Li Tai: Tai was the brother, he acted that part often. Despite being the middle child of the pack, he didn't showcase anything less than his best. He was a carefree spirit that Qiang got along with well. His brother taught him that no man is a mountain. That they must bend and show something else to be beyond what this world considers normal. No man can bear the burden of eternity and this world. This isn't a comic book or some joke that people cannot see. King's must be everything and nothing at the same time. Tai taught him that with his nature of how he handled things. His nose for the truth is what alerted his siblings to the truth. To the torture that Qiang underwent to be a good ruler. Humans have their own policies and suigura have theirs. Law's and such while they do exist not to the extent mankind has them. His brothers and sisters decided to handle the matter personally. They would raise an alternate route for Xiang. A place of peace and hopefully a good king could remain in.
At the end of things, it didn't matter, however, Tai much like the rest of his family seemed different. They all knew what needed to happen for the future. For the Suigura to leave this world without opposition would take brave men and women to take a stand. To move forward and bear the burden of a cross on their shoulds. Xiang knew his family understood this wasn't a winning battle. It was one to buy time and give a chance. This was a fight where they die at the end and their story comes to a close. This was the nature of the sacrifice the Li Clan made for the Suigura people. It wasn't meaningless or pointless it was their investment into the future. Somethings Tai would say had a toll you had to pay. Every bridge has its toll keeper and sometimes the price is blood. The Sugiura's new chance and freedom was such a price Tai and his clan believed. Xiang loved Tai the most since they were the youngest of the clan. This doesn't do justice ot the nature of their bond entirely.
Li Xiuying:The twin sister of Fu, they were the eldest siblings of the family. They took the burden and she acted as a mother. Since Qiang couldn't look at his mother without going into a panic. The woman's visage haunted him terribly. Xiuying didn't forgive her mother or father for torturing Qiang. She acted as the tender and delicate soul needed. To make sure her brother understood what love was. It was something that seemed to be fickle in this family. Xiuying was born as the Origin of Water, following her brother as his direct opposite. This allowed for her and him to share moments few would realize. The twins were considered titans on the battlefield fighting with a harmony that defied logic. But for Xiang, Xiuying was someone entirely different. Everyone see's her as the battle hardened Valkyrie who's heart was solid. Often times she was mistaken for a frozen soul. But the truth was even near her end. That Xiuying spent her days as her brother's caretaker. Feeding and making sure he experienced the feeling of love. So he didn't become a complete sociopath
Yusuke Tachibana: His sworn brother before everything else, Yusuke and he share a bond that has kept him stable. Yusuke and he met not in a place most would imagine. The two met on the battlefield and almost died. Swearing an oath of brotherhood they decided to die that day together. It was something of a pact that couldn't be forged by any other. Yusuke is the most loyal friend and the person that Qiang has left. In his life when so many things went left and right. He was able to put faith and trust into Yusuke. Yusuke has been there to advise and keep him from becoming something dangerous. He always stands ready to advise his brother in things. Ready to help on a tactical level and give insight. Allowing them both to bounce ideas off one another and train. He's a sparring partner and a loyal friend from the days long before this realm. He's the last remaining piece of the world for Qiang to cling too. He's the only family of concern Qiang has in his life. Those who desire to cross him must first get by the fierce Yusuke.
Hans Reimann: The man of the West, he is a figure that Qiang respects. Through reputation that he's heard mostly. While he knows very little of the man himself. The efforts and things going on are hard to read without a proper meeting. Many men can make judgments without seeing things firsthand. These men are simply fools in Qiang's eyes, till he see's Hans for himself. He won't make a judgment or decide how he views someone. It's not his place or area of choice. He's a king and must view his fellow King's in a similar way. They are the Keepers of the respective land. This is the choice made without being taken lightly by anything else. This is the fact and truth that cannot be run from. Hans, Kamui, and Qiang must guide these places to the light. Show them something beyond the past and away from it. While Qiang will not draw blades against his own kind. He is curious to see just what sort of spirit burns within the chest of Hans.
Kamui Cruor Another strange person, someone whom he can only define as the beginning. Kamui is someone who has played a grand role in things. Keeping their people informed and a part of this world in many ways. While he's not had the pleasure of meeting the man. It's an experience he intends to fully go on in the future. To meet Kamui Cruor will be both an honor and an experience. Though the boy is young, he's experienced and stepped into confrontation when he needed. Not backing down from challenges as they appear before him.

Li Qiang was born long before the time when the Suigura entered this world. He was born to what he thought was an ideal family life and loving traditional care. But that all changed when they came, the people who would change the Sugiura's fate. Those would damn them from their own realm and make them cross the stars to this one. Qiang's father and mother changed their ideas to something darker and twisted. They began educating their son on fighting as a toddler and punishments were brutal. At the age of four, he had eyes removed and lost limbs. His father would fight him without regard or hold back. NO matter how much he screamed or begged. Mercy wasn't shown to the small boy and he was beaten to a pulp. His father never hugged him since he was born, this left scars mentally that couldn't be imagined. He was left to fight feral Beasts in the jungle. Being told that it was up to him to survive and not die. Qiang did not have a normal childhood, for his origin wouldn't allow it.
Qiang was born to fight and face down the creatures of this world. But that wasn't the plan his father had in mind. He wanted a son who would be capable of turning the tide in the next world. A king who had suffered pain beyond imagination. Qiang survived several days in the wilderness he was left to kill and fight with his bare hands. It was here that Qiang began the building of Kenpo at a young age. Because of this untraditional upbringing, he lost his connection to Sugiura magic entirely. Most people would see this as a problem, but as he continued this hellish training. Qiang's skill with his martial arts and other things became clear. Qiang's brothers and sister did their best to provide a loving and encouraging life. But they did so secretively and away from prying eyes. He did not have a traditional life in any way or form. So while many would think his life was a long journey with many stories. It was only one till he grew out of his childhood years. Torture and beatings that couldn't be imagined.
If anyone could detect healing or left over marks, they would find over two million injuries on Qiang. From his days as a child alone, this doesn't even count adulthood or anything of that nature. Abusive doesn't even begin to count what Qiang went through. But as he grew into a young man he was able to perform and do missions against those very enemies. He became the East's King while in their old realm as it was his duty to do. He upheld tradition and customs that few others would. But Qiang's mental state was still very fragile and damaged. But those wounds only showed at night away from eyes of others. He'd fought and faced his death so often that it had become something of a strange obsession. He could sleep only when exhausting himself entirely. Qiang's last memory of that world and their total loss was his clan's choice. They decided to keep them at bay so the others could leave. That was the end of his life there, the end of pain and torture.
The question that comes next is what did Qiang do while over here. Where has the Ruler of the East been? He's been sleeping and training endlessly. Unlocking the Tarots through the conditions, doing as many as he could. But only getting so far in developiong his power and strength. Qiang has placed himself in a spot he cannot entirely escape form. He's fought many battles, defeating enemies and leading strategically strong points. Qiang's blunt and forward nature as a ruler became known. The King of the East Slumbers no more, he's awoken and become something more. He is ready to show just what he has up his sleeve for this world.

Will of the Tarot: It's been said Qiang is a genius with weapons and using equipment. He's a specialist who can fight in any way or form. Often times changing and fighting in different postures, what isn't known is why. Qiang's power is known as the Will of the Tarot. It allows him to activate and use powers based on certain cards in the Tarot deck. Now each card has different powers and capabilities. This is something that cannot be changed or faulted for him. This is why in the most Eastern culture you'll never hear a story of him using a single weapon or outfit. He seems often depicted or shown in different ways. It should be noted that while these weapons and armors dawned from the tarot are powerful. They are just that weapon and armor. Something that relies heavily on the wielder to be effective. A sword is only as good as the swordsman wielding its blade. This is a fact that has never escaped Qiang or anyone who see him using his powers.
His automatic default is the Fool, this is a fitting thing as Qiang see's himself as such. A foolish King who couldn't even with all his adaptability defeat the enemies at their door. Now while each outfit and weapon are capable of feats and things that make them remarkable. It should be noted that they only get to use powers based on Qiang's releases. Three powers per weapon and armor, these are directly tied into the nature and lore behind the Tarot. They don't shift or change over time or grow in any way. Qiang is a true Jack of All Trades while being a master of none. He's someone who few believe capable of clashing with many enemies. But Qiang has gotten by through determination and study. Being a Jack of all trade's isn't a bad thing if you know how to use it. While it's true that he may not have the specialization of some people. Those who focus a single art and don't stop from that pursuit. It's notable that with Will of the Tarot he's more than capable.
Upon activation or use of this power, people claim to see an image of the Tarot in question. It's often times depicted from Qiang's energy giving them an idea of what's coming. While this is a give away to what he is using few are ready for the skills in melee combat Qiang has. Wielding these weapons with absurd skill and timing that others admire. He is able to wield and showcase skills that few others can imagine fully. While the weapon's powers and the armors are frightening to some. It should be noted that Qiang only uses them occasionally. Preferring to fight with his martial skills over cheap gimmicks or tricks. It is why so often he remains in the Fool Card's activate instead of others. Deciding only to change when a change of pace is required. Now as the powers have been discussed at length. It is best to describe them in a suitable way here. The powers are things that can be a simple and common place for example. When using Strength he loses his weapons and armor.
Dawning instead a special outfit and a club of sorts. While the club holds little meaning it's noted that he often times lets it go. The benefit of Strength is the dramatic increase in his physical prowess. He is able to wield Herculean strength when using it. This is only a small example as more will be shown below about said Tarot. It should be noted he uses Major Arcana instead of minor most of the time. Minor Arcana are only summoned occasionally by his Fool Arcana. Keeping this in mind the buffs and benefits are based on the representation of the card itself. This has a great deal to do with just how strong Qiang truly is. Being capable of great feats of strength pun sometimes intended. But in the end, it is something that comes up to the situation. Qiang is a man who can address and handle a multitude of situations. Dealing with them as he pleases in creating chances for those around him. For even a peasant can kill a king. Be they a street sweeper or a King everyone must one day dance with the reaper.
It should be noted that not all of his Tarot's are combat based and serve different benefits. They are able to provide things such as clothing among other things. Some of them allow for restoration and life being given to the wounded. Allowing him to act as a healer as well as a warrior. While the power itself isn't considered something great. It does allow for a multitude of avenues and ventures for him to take. Like all things, this is connected to the power and amount he releases. Each weapon and prowess are what make his power that of a King. Qiang has understood what it took to become a ruler. More than this he has realized and comprehended the situation entirely. Mastering himself and his tools to make himself better. This is something that only those with years and wisdom under their belt can accomplish. In your youth, you are prone to making mistakes and causing trouble. Though you don't know it, the road to happiness is pathed in blood and sorrow.
For anything to be gained loss must be given first. The law of equivalent exchange is something that rules this world as well as their last. This is a fact that all beings must accept, be the King or not. Qiang has learned to accept his failures as a King among the people of this world.
Limit: Qiang must hold a Tarot form for a single post before being able to use another or switch.
Law of the Tarot: This is the law of the Tarot in it's fullest content. It's been something Qiang dealt with since the beginning of time. The problem with its method is that sometimes they aren't clear to him without clearing certain conditions. Sometimes this is intense training in methods that go beyond the laws of physical limitations. Other times it's a bit messier and complicated. The first thing is each Tarot has a phase of unlocking. First is the Weapon Phase once that is unlocked Qiang understands the nature of the requirements for the power. Now it should be noted and understood that a Training Thread is required still even if he unlocks the power. Qiang has zero control till training threads are completed and provided to staff. Unlocking them isn't an instant increase or anything like that. If anything it's a problem because Qiang becomes trapped within that Tarot. He cannot exit once inside till control is established. This is a principle that cannot be taken away from or changed. As the Law is clear on this, some skills are combat special. But others require something else, those classified as Event Only may only have the Weapon Unlocked by an event. Then another to awaken the power. Otherwise, a training thread with another person is required. This cannot be an NPC under any circumstances ever. It must be a player's character and said conditions of release must be met. This person can only do ONE Tarot, no more or less. If they unlock Weapon Phase they aren't able to do so. The requirements of unlocking are defined by the Tarot itself. This is how you can tell the nature of the unlock. Upon unlocking their powers Qiang generally names the Weapon. But the Name is generally decided by the Tarot's Will before hand. Due to these extreme circumstances Qiang is unable to host a Guardian Beast. He cannot function similarly to other Sugiura either.
Spatial Tarot Weapon Infusion: Qiang is able to use a form for teleportation to his weapons. giving him an option for very fast travel when moving. But the requirement as said previously is the weapon. He must be able to move to the location without being halted or hindered. Qiang is able to set up detailed plans and follow through on them by accessing this power. While he lacks a decent set up like many others of his kind. He does represent a warrior of the Sugiura extremely well.
Mystic Eyes
Emperor's Eye-皇帝眼It should be mentioned before anything else. In order for this power to work on the site, he requires at the lowest a Master within Mystic Eyes of the Suigura The cognitive perception of things cannot be expressed in singular motive or perception. A normal eye can only go so far into perception and see the path before it so clearly. Qiang's eye is known to be extremely special. As it reads the pathways of things and sees things as they move. He can detect minuscule details of things as they fluctuate. This allows him to detect changes and movements of energy among other things. While other users of the Mystic eyes have access to other things. His eyes are dominated by the Emperor's eye allowing for him to see movements and pathways that few others would ever notice. This isn't a one-way blessing, however. Just because he can recognize something coming doesn't mean he can do anything. While it is true knowing is something of its own accord. To understand with this means is he can see the flow movement. Read it and analyze things to a level that machines are normally required to reach. Suigura is known for this trait on a smaller scale in some cases. But for Qiang, he spent so much time being trained with his eyes among other things. By reading the flow he's able to predict and see the future some believed. However, the future is unknown even to his eyes. He only see's what someone with proper training can. While his eyes aren't the run of the mill eyes. This doesn't make them better or worse than any other eyes. The name Emperor's Eye wasn't given by him but his people.
By training one's cognition hard enough it's possible to bypass the realm people know of. To describe the power in greater detail, it allows his eyes to read the cognitive surroundings and people around him. By doing this he can to an extent ascertain someone's thoughts. This doesn't mean he's always right in every reading. He's reading the cognitive situation around him within a set radius. The further away the being or attack in question is. The harder to read it becomes, this is an obvious fact. Just as things become harder to focus on at a distance so too does the Emperor's Eye. Now to explain what Cognition is in a brief summary. It is the mental action or process of acquiring knowledge and understanding through thought, experience, and the senses. But it also can be defined as a result of this; a perception, sensation, emotion, or intuition. Qiang's eye is able to see the result to an extent among other things. Able to see various approaches and angles others may not see.
This can be both boon and curse, as he's very capable of seeing and knowing what is coming. But being unable to accomplish or bring about a feasible change in the outcome in some situations. For example, let's state that Qiang is attacked by something too fast for him to dodge. He will take the hit and be aware he will be hit. If he can endure the blow, then it is entirely possible that he could counter attack. But let's state for further example that the attack is too much for him to bear. He knows the power and impact are going to do damage. So mentally he must prepare himself to take a blow. This is something like playing Russian Roulette but knowing the outcome of when you get shot. Qiang's lived with this perception and knowledge most of his life. So he's developed an iron will so as not to puke or run in fear. Because this doesn't turn off when ever he pleases. His eyes are always active and functioning. Meaning he is processing information all the time, keeping his mind moving.
The strain can be unbearable at times. Keeping in mind this has also cost him in the magic department as well. Qiang is only capable of a single Suigura spell. He cannot access the others to the sheer amount of information and energy spent on his eyes. This is a curse that he bears on a constant day and time. Now keeping this in mind it should be noted that spell is similar to Hoho or Sonido. In a way that it is travel based and while this does lessen the extent. The shock of the fact that he simply cannot access or tap into any other spells is a burden of massive proportions. His eyes cannot ignite people on fire or cause damage of some sort. He's not able to summon constructs from them or any such lunacy. He's bound by a single rule of seeing the cognitive. That is all they allow for him while also taking a large price from him. This is the price a King must pay to be a ruler. Sometimes it is by blocking off one path to see another. Qiang has paid his price in blood and many other things.
The Fool Arcana
The Fool's Appearance: It should be noted that this is his default Arcana and is always active. Thus the normal outfits he wears are the fool's appearance in a nutshell.
The Fool's World: This is the main power of the Fool Arcana and is always active. This allows him to project the other arcana in a weaker form. But it should be noted that he's not merely projecting the weapons. But also the powers and skills of the arcana in question. They are considerably weaker than the original. Especially before he releases they don't match up to them even in sealed. This is the price of the Fool's Arcana, but there is a boon. He's able to use all of them at the same time. They are watered down by a great margin and improve slightly with his releases. In Qiang's mind, this is the strongest Arcana for it can wield them all. The projection skill allows him to project the weapons or powers of certain Arcana without much trouble. Again the problem stems from it being weaker than the original. It comes from mastery over his other skills. Proclaiming a strong base and foundation in the feature areas. While using this he can use any of them but at a lower power level in its base form. The Fool's World is active passively for him at all times. Allowing him to completely use and fight like a monster when such is required of him. Now it should be noted while using this he can use multiple powers at once as previously stated. This is the only form where such is possible, but he cannot use them at full power. Regardless of his release form and some powers are not usable even by the Fool. This is true of World, Star, Sun, and Moon. They are powers of which he cannot awaken while in any release.
Joushou Release: In the first form of release his Fool's World allows for the weapons to be a bit stronger. It also enhances the powers he is using and focuses on a small amount. But it mostly makes his projections stronger, allowing him to create and multiply his projections in small amounts. He's able to fight exceptionally well while projecting things quickly. He's bound only to creating tarots and using them. This in a way is what allows him to create and fight with different weapons and skills at a rapid pace. This merely allows for faster projection and to create several versions of tarot weapons. Allowing for quick paced and prepared combat by the King of the East. Qiang's mastered using every form of weapon fighting the world's shown him. By comprehending and quickly accomplishing his goal and occupation he was able to complete his martial training and mastery within Fool's World. In this form, they are only 25% of their original state.
Zenou Release: In the second form of release the projection numbers grow even more. Allowing him to control and fight with the weapons even when not holding them. The big gain here is he's able to project the powers of each Arcana a great deal further. Now being able to use them closer to the max power they were born to have. While some of these powers are forever locked away from him. He's unable to access or tap into those still. But the ones he can use are extremely potent. Allowing for use of powers equaling out to the full-scale use of his prowess. Qiang's projection of these has grown leaps and bounds from his first release of power. Due to the nature of Qiang's Sacred Object, it allows him to grow within this further. This being the power of his Sacred Object known as the Fool's Blade. But one thing must be understood, they are only 50% of their original form in this state.
[b]Kyuu Kyou: In the final release Qiang is able to summon them more in their projection forms. They are only 75% closer to the original, however. And he can use them around him as though manipulating the weapons. But the truth is Qiang is generally just very decent in his martial practices with them. To clarify Qiang had to give up being a Jack of certain trades to get good at fighting with weapons and in melee. This wasn't a seamless or pretty experience. It was something that took blood, sweat, and most importantly pain. This also allows him to manifest the Fool's weapon the sword. But aside from this it is still a projection of his original powers.
The Magician Arcana
The Magician's Kinetic Blast:The Magician allows for Qiang to use his energy to create density blasts of his energy. Creating a kinetic shockwave of force at his enemies when facing them. While it's not extremely potent in its sealed form. There is no grand appearance shift for Qiang as the only thing that becomes clear is his hands begin to glow with energy. Making it look like his fists are engulfed in an unstable energy. This is the calling card of the use of this power for those who wish for confirmation of what's been activated. This acts in place of magic for him. It allows him to use cero like blasts and fire them with highly focused zeal. He's able to create small or large beams depending on the release he is in. Showcasing a massive sense of control for his capabilities. Kinetic force can be released not only from his hands but from his body. Qiang's show a skill in using his legendary object's powers when needed. While not being near what he used to be he is still quite effective.
Joushou Release: In the first release of his power his arms become engulfed by it. The blast sleeves as he calls them are very useful for fighting. He's able to release massive energy concussion blasts with his energy. Causing heavy amounts of damage to those struck by them. He's able to release these again from anywhere on his body. The blasts have a red color to them, the higher concentration blasts do take time. He can't merely release them at a moments notice. While using the Blast Gauntlets and sleeve's he's able to fight and inflict damage equal to them. For example when punching his enemies while using this. They are prone to exploding with the damage of what would have been a long ranged attack. This is inflicting a kinetic concussion blast of energy with his fists. While it's not how the Magician should fight in truth. Elegance has never been Qiang's strongest suit when it came to battle. So he uses it in a way that befits his own fighting style over some fancy would be a pretense.
Zenou Release: In the second release his entire upper body is consumed in the energy. Allowing for him to fight with massive blast damages. And even to use it defensively in some situations. Qiang has shown the impeccable timing to use his Blast in a way that allows him to redirect the force of a blow. Using it as sort of a shield while his arms and hands act as his sword. The blasts released from him in this form can be much larger. Capable of doing serious damage to the area around him. The ground often times is burst upon activation of this form. Qiang doesn't see many purposes in fighting with Magician often times. Unless it's something required against a specialized enemy. The Magician's Weapon isn't a physical manifestation that one can hold. But a physical concussive force of energy he can manipulate and create. The red crimson aura looks similar to blood coming from him. He exhales it while in this form also creating what he calls the Blood Mist armor.
Kyuu Kyou: In the final release his entire body is consumed by the full Blast Cloak. Crimson red in color it's very easy to see. While it's a good defense or offense item in both phases. It does suffer from some weaknesses that are noticeable to the wise. Qiang's blasts are unable to be aimed due to intensity in this form. The condensed ones are black and red surging and pulsing unstable. This is unstable kinetic energy being generated. At lower levels, he still had said in the way it went. But in this form that choice is gone, the only useful part is the hand ot hand usage. But aside from that, it tends to be extremely unreliable for him. Thus why he doesn't tend to use the third release of the Magician or even bother switching to it.
The High Priestess
The Priestess's Love:This form doesn't have a release or anything of the like. It allows for him to take the pain and restore a body. But in order to do so, he must experience the pain they've had in the process. For example, if a person lost an arm, he must experience the pain of his arm being ripped off. Not in the literal sense of that. Obviously, he can't experience death, but within the seconds before restoration may begin. He must feel the pain twenty times without fainting. This is needed for him to create a back up of the original form. Once this is complete he's able to restore their body. He must experience the pain and then he may heal the injury. The worse the injury the longer he must experience their pain. It can be stated without any doubt that this isn't free. It takes an immense amount of energy and physical strain on him. It's been said he uses this very rarely. Not bothering to bring it out unless it's absolutely necessary. This form's weapon is a staff with rings around the end. While no physical form exists that for him. Qiang considers the Priestess a very rare power. But not one to be taken for granted or used without considering all possibilities. Because sometimes pain is important for learning the lessons of life.
The Empress & Emperor Arcana
The Ruler's Steadfast Resolve: The combat appearance is assumed for the activation of the Emperor and Empress tarot. A golden shield and a lance are summoned for fighting. The lance is known for being able to pierce whatever it comes at. Known as the sky piercer and the shield he wields with the lance. Is considered an absolute in defense. The lance he wields is more akin to a javelin or short style spear. But the first misconception is that it only forms is that. It is also a sword for close range combat. The marks of the shield and blade are those of the Emperor and Emperess tarots. There is no absolute defense or offense in this world. But when wielding these weapons it's said that his resolve and sick sense for combat increase. His focus and willpower seem to drastically increase in this form. Allowing for him to push past the limitations of the physical realm.
Joushou Release: In the first release his senses are awakened. His battle senses are extremely sharp as he's almost got a radar around him. This allows for him to detect and move with sharp movements without missing a beat. His Emperor's Eyes are enhanced in this form to an extent. Allowing for greater predictions and strengthening of his focus. The weapons while special aren't what make him dangerous in this form. It's the sheer resolve and focuses enhancement that makes him a considerable threat. While in this mode he's been able to ignore the taste of his blood. To focus his mind and overcome fear and dread with sheer resolve. But this isn't something Qiang is proud of. All men experience fear and regardless of the release. Even he cannot defeat the gods of old. He's acknowledged his weakness time and time again. It's not something he can debate or run away from. Ruler's Aura is only useful for so much in the grand scheme of things. While he does believe this is better for longer fights.
Zenou Release: A massive increase in resolve comes from the second form. Powering him up enough that he was able to lose body parts in battle. He lost his arm once when using this and continued to fight. Claiming if he lost his arms he'd kick them. If he lost his legs he'd tear their throats out with his teeth. He wouldn't stop for anything till the people were protected. He still feels pain and can very easily accept and acknowledge it.
Kyuu Kyou: In his final form he is able to completely suppress his need for rest and pain. He almost seems to shut his nerves off. Though this has a price in this form. He slows down without his nerves. Pain is a good reminder of the things to come, it allows for you to know when you are pushing too far. Qiang often claims a ruler must know when not to go too far. Somethings are beyond you for a reason and that must be accepted for what it is. If nothing else perception is a great weapon and defense. It can be the tool that saves or damns you for your pride.
The Hierophant Arcana
The Light of the Hierophant: The power of the Hierophant is one that is simple. Also lacking a release much like others of his power. It creates a Morningstar that is able to deal mortal wounds to those of evil. Things that Qiang see's as evil are inflicted with a righteous type of damage. It burns and causes immense pain to those of a demonic nature. It is something capable of cleansing demonic energy when it comes into contact with weaker energies. Though it's more of a stalemate in this case. Qiang says it's known as Holy Matter, something that cannot be broken or destroyed. He says it's something of the light itself. Born to face the darkness that is all these weapon desires. He isn't so keen on using it as he believes the weapon's effectiveness is less than noticeable against normal enemies. It helped very little against his people's doom that came. He was unable to truly embrace and fight against the enigma that came even with this. But it does work well against Hollow and Demons.
The Lovers Arcana
Ebony and Ivory: Two weapons that he is quite fond of using. A set of dual blades that Qiang considers his favorite set. They are Chinese style days with symbols on them of the Lovers. It's known that he is exceptionally skilled in the use of these days. As for the power of them, it's something rather interesting. This allows for gravity manipulation on things the weapon touches. It allows him to create gravitational things to make life easier for him. It allows him to control the weight of the weapons impacts. Making them heavy and light at moments notice. This allows for a fighting style that Qiang developed himself. It wasn't something that required a ton of thought or process on everything. But it should be noted like the others no release exists for them. So the simple power doesn't increase or decrease when used unless fool projects them. Only a couple of his Tarots have releases he can use while releasing his full power outwards. It can be noted and spoke that he can only manipulate his own gravity no others. As for the increase and decrease he's only able to increase things to a certain amount. Being able to raise 200 kilos in weight and remove the weight of a similar size or amount. The weapons being in contact only allows him to increase his own weight in reality.
The Chariot Arcana
The Chariot Spear: Qiang's Spear of choice is from the Chariot Tarot and he often times summons this in the midst of using his powers. By fighting this way he's able to use and wield the weapon. Qiang hasn't unlocked this spear's full power due to the requirements needed to do so. He believes it's something unreasonable. But it's requirements aside Qiang isn't sure that he wants to tap into the Tarot powers too much. Their weapons are far more useful in smaller amounts without so much devotion. As a King, he simply doesn't have the time to master every single power that one puts out.
Strength Arcana
Strength's Great Sword:The weapon in this case is a massive one. It is extremely heavy and some believe it's unwieldable. But Qiang has shown extremely skilled usage of the large weapon. Being able to swing it and destroy with a single blow often times. He's got the power to throw massive destructive blows at a moments notice. Despite his frame, Qiang is a deceptively potent man. Showing his muscle by wielding this weapon, the look of it changes based on Qiang's design when he summons it. But always does the symbol of the tarot burn within it.
The Hermit Arcana
The Hermits Bowstaff:This staff looks like a walking stick. But it is the emblem of the Hermit on the weapon's tips. While it does appear to be made of a fine wood. The weapon is rather sturdy and capable of fending off heavy blows. Along with being capable to extend and change sizes upon his desires. This seems to be something Qiang likes using occasionally when the requirement is needed. While this is something he doesn't often times summon it does serve a purpose.
Wheel of Fortune Arcana
Fortune's Chakram: The round wheel is bladed and dangerous as when thrown Qiang's say is out till it returns. But he is able to wield it in ways most haven't imagined yet. Though traditionally he uses it to travel behind or around the field. The Chakram's long range is very useful in this case. He often times twirls it on his finger or holds it in his hand for fighting in a melee front.
Justice Arcana
Dragon's Justice Balmung:This is the awakened form of Justice in it's the purest formation. It allows Qiang to tap into the power of Dragons. Turning the once innocent Claymore into a blade with a name. Balmung, the weapon is born of flames and summoned through this method. But it does more than that, Qiang's eyes upon activation seem reptilian almost. heat seems to come from his body and extend from that area. While using his fire creatively he's able to perform many feats with this. But Qiang's skill with the element isn't the main purpose. The dragon like transformation he undertakes for his Justice is the main calling card. His body gains scales of a crimson color and depending on his release he gains more benefits. But in its passive form, he's able to manipulate heat in a small area. Qiang's interest in the weapon and it's unlocking has brought some interest. Qiang has found his strength and durability increased a significant amount. Though he doesn't know all the weaknesses of the scales yet. What can be said is the dragon is a Chinese Fire Dragon. His body changes slowly as he releases into higher plains. Gaining more skills as he goes into the transformations. Qiang has noted his transformations don't affect his mind or eyes much. His sight and sense of smell don't seem to gain much of an increase in the releases he can perform. This is of course based on the information he has presently.
Joushou Release: In his first Release Qiang gains light dragons scales around his arms and feet. A couple around his face among other places. He's able to manipulate the flame more effectively when fighting his enemies. He's able to breathe fire to an extent though he does claim a slight discomfort from such. This isn't a perfectly completed transformation in this form. While his lungs and body parts do function similar to a Dragons. His arms and legs are where the main focus is. Controlling heat and temperature for the sake of doing so. This isn't a clear cut reason or practice. Qiang is likely to his first couple times misuse the fire or even mess up. It should be noted eventually upon reaching his third release these issues might become less. Qiang'sn use of fire is almost wild making it less about control. He's not someone who's doing this neatly or wielding it with controlled precise movements. In this form, it can be noted that he does gain claws on his hands. His emotions and fighting style seem similar to a fire bender. But while his sense of control and use of emotions seem clean. Qiang's not completely capable of using this power safely with others yet and will require a training thread.
Zenou Release: This is as far as Qiang is able to proceed with the releases at the moment. Due to his other form not being used. His entire body is engulfed in flames beyond his control in this form. Qiang does seem to have more scales along his upper body and back. He's able to form Dragon like parts and create fire based attacks in this form. But the uncontrollable tsunami of fire on him is an issue. Qiang has shown little tact or control of fire so far in his unlocking of this one. It's a hard thing to grasp as it's not as though he woke up and understood the others. Time is needed to truly get used to certain things. Having Dragon fangs and feeling more bestial then man is also strange. Qiang's hair not catching on fire and other strange things that bother him. What he gains is decent protection from most attacks through scales. These function similar to Hierro and their effectiveness can be measured from his Release Control. The better that is the more control over the Tarots he is likely to gain. his Strength Increase isnt' as prounouced as the Durability one.
The Hanged Man Arcana
The Hanged Man's Dart: A metal chain linked together in sections with a steel dart on the bottom. This weapon is very strange and often times surprises his enemies. Qiang uses it for a multitude of purposes. But has shown a surprising mastery over it. Claiming that it is functional for fighting most foes.
Death Arcana
Death's Scythe: One of his favorite weapons to wield, it is a large scythe. Qiang is extremely skilled at wielding the scythe and has shown great prowess. He claims if he unlocks another of his Tarot powers. This will be the next one he does so for. But he seems to hesitate to do so. As the cost of them tends to be different depending on the tarot weapon he's accessing. Just unlocking the weapons themselves was tedious. Awakening them with each having special requirements. This is, of course, comes from all of the different methods. Qiang's Scythe is a large weapon with a black handle that has a strange chain that coils around it.
Temperance Arcana
Temperance's Shield: This weapon or rather defense is something Qiang uses on extremely rare occasions. Showcasing a skill with the weapon few would expect. Once again not unlocked due to certain conditions being needed to be met. Some of them are painful as it stands. This shield appears to be made of a strange silver metal that glistens. It's able to absorb extremely potent energy and physical attacks. Sending them into the void Qiang claims that they may not harm another soul.
The Devil Arcana
Devil's Pitchfork: This weapon is sealed and unable to be used.
The Tower Arcana
Tower's Rapier: Locked as well
The Star Arcana
Event Only Locked
The Moon Arcana
Event Only Locked
The Sun Arcana

Judgment Arcana

The World Arcana

Sugiuran Kenpo
Basic Information: The inventor of this style of martial arts and founder of its principals is Qiang. He has been rather proactive and capable in his development of the style. The focus is building both the external and internal forces within one's self. When one has mastered the external they must go inward. This isn't a method or a practice done lightly as it can break some. Mastering the internal forces is much harder and almost impossible compared to external. Understanding this doesn't bring one closer to understanding though. How Qiang learned and produced was fighting Beasts in the homeland. His father and family were his sparring partners as he developed a fighting style of immensely popular origin. It's hard to state without fact or recourse how many know this form of fighting. It is popular in Eastern culture and the military does use it. There are different levels and practices of it for users.
Those who desire a softer side can have it, as this martial art isn't terribly demanding. Mastery and those hunting it don't need to train in order to use it for killing. Merely protecting, but those who seek a higher mastery must go further. Training with everything on the line going to the absolute limit. This is the key to truly unlocking and understanding the moves and capabilities of this Martial Art. This style has as many stances and forms as imagination allow. It never is done growing or changing, as like seasons it's always in motion. The style and practice of its use changes depending on the user. Not everyone is fit to practice all the forms and styles used. Just like a form isn't built for every moment or situation, things change as do the outcomes. You must be prepared to bend with the current so you may surge like a might tsunami. This is what's required of someone to truly learn this form of fighting. While the information is short, there are many styles and choices for the user to make.
But one thing should be made painfully clear by taking this route and learning Qiang's style. Many users will be unable to access or even use traditional magic. It's because in accessing the Internal Force and using it over the regular means. They use a Martial Art to perform an art similar to Hoho, Sonido, and what have you. This step method is extremely complicated and requires a mastery of both. But in doing so Qiang's movement is faster than most people would realize. It doesn't give people a clear idea of where or how he'll travel. Qiang's yet to name the movement or decipher how it will work. But in the end, it's a simple move to the next destination. The flexibility of the style he made is extremely apparent, as the user is able to perform hundreds of thousands of possible outcomes. There are techniques of course but Qiang's yet to decide to give them names. Different forms and ways of using this martial art are up to the imagination and creativity of the user.

Overall, there needs to be a one-post lockout between switching forms. Meaning he must hold a form for one post before switching to a different Tarot. Will of the Tarot
Honestly, the way he's written after this is completely contradictory to this statement. You say he's a "Jack of All Trades, Master of None" when later on you describe the way he uses those weapons as "unimaginable." Lower the overall skill in the following weapons' skills.Qiang is a true Jack of All Trades while being a master of none. He's someone who few believe capable of clashing with many enemies. But Qiang has gotten by through determination and study. Being a Jack of all trade's isn't a bad thing if you know how to use it.
It's not surprising that the Fool is the strongest.
Kyuu Kyou: In the final form of his sacred object's release. Qiang draws power far beyond what one could imagine. Projecting the weapons into a legendary form that only the Fool can imagine. While it's not perfect like it would be in the other releases. Qiang's Kyuu Kyou is quite potent in the fact it allows for him to project an infinite land of combat. A place of weapons and create e a zone for fighting. Qiang prefers saving this for occasions when such is needed. Summoning the weapons of the other tarots is something of a potent option. The Fool's power of Projection is strengthed making weapons on par with legends at this point. It's full potential making it his most powerful form. Qiang generally doesn't use the Fool's Third Form of its world. Deciding he wouldn't really meet enemies worth going that far for a while. Qiang's arrogance in this way has cost him before believing the Fool should be reserved for occasions when the world is in danger.
Kyuu Kyou is too overpowered combined with everything else he has. He can use all of the existing powers, but they're stronger than listed in the application? No, that won't fly. The "infinite land of combat" also seems to refer to creating a pocket dimension, something that doesn't follow with the rest of the ability. The best way to balance it would be to replace the current Kyuu Kyou with the Joushou and create a new middle ground between Zenou and Joushou.
There needs to be a limit on how much he can increase and decrease the weight of. There also needs to be more of a description as to what it does. As it reads, the ability allows for him to control the gravity on his weapons and the gravity on the impact area from the weapons. If so, make it so he can only affect the gravity of the weapon or the impact area at one time. Meaning he could do either, but he must make a choice beforehand on which he wants to do.Ebony and Ivory: Two weapons that he is quite fond of using.

[mod] It has come to my attention that the method of obtaining further Tarots was developed after approval and has therefore not been approved. This needs to be in the app to be checked. I was under the impression that it would be unlocked via multiple training threads and the like (such is the case with other abilities), not based upon contact or anything of the sort.
Therefore, I am denying this character pending clarification on/addition of the acquisition of further Tarots. [/mod]

I added in the Law of the Tarot with conditions and rules involving the Tarot. I am sorry for the trouble I am causing, I did not mean for this to happen. I should have developed this before I sought an approval. This is entirely my own fault for rushing a character out without defining the means for a release.
