Give Me That Sweet Mania

Hunger.
That was the only thing flowing through the mind of our figure of manic royalty. Hunger for something to make her thick, hunger for something to fill this apathy, hunger to satisfy her infinite craving for grandiosity and hunger to continually indulge in the greatest delights this existence had to offer. Things weren't right for our lil' ol' Queenie, and her body was almost acting on instinct to seek out n' gather 'round objects, people n' events to do whatever it took to fix this broken sense of existence her heart, mind, body and spirit were ensnared under.
So why would it not become befitting for her to pay a lil' trip to a realm she helped pioneered? Especially when the base of Mana's power was outright screaming: "HEY BITCH, MOVE YER' PRETTY 'LIL PALE ASS HERE AND SOMETHING INTERESTING WILL FIND YOU!"
Ya don't ignore ya' gut, right? Right.
Hence, on this whimsical notion to do whatever it is her ever-changing heart desired, The Queen of Demons found herself once again ripping apart through the layers of realms as if they were nothing but hot butter slicing in two under the cut of a smooth knife. Well, we should probably take that back. The arrival of this bitch was anything but smooth.
Screeches, moans, cries n' static louder than the emptiness inside a pop diva's skull ruptured out on the landscape. As this uneven energy started to bleed out into the world, the skies son became an assortment of rainbow colors, while the land itself started to phase in and out of existence. Blobs of multi-hued blood ranging from bright blues, dark reds and hot greens spread throughout the air and it seemed as if the whole world was ending as chunks of flesh, blood and organs rained down from the sky.
Unfortunately, this was not the Armageddon one sought. Instead, it was simply the arrival of The Queen of Demons.
...
...well, on second thought, there is nothing fuckin' simple about this woman. So that was probably not the most apt choice of words to use to describe this vixen.
Digressing from the pointless sideshow, the woman peered her gem green eyes down on a cabin one hundred feet ahead of herself. There was a high amount of chaotic energy, so that meant she needed to just j-j-j-jam her energy inside, put her fingers right up inside n' extract whatever delicate goodness would come from shaking this hornets nest.
Then, with a single rise of her hand, the woman commanded a cluster of oil n' lime energy to swirl around the cabin like a cyclone of demonic energy birthing itself from the earth to form this twister that ascended into the heavens themselves. With a clap of her hand, the woman destabilized all the molecules around this vicinity and created an explosion capable of disintegrating everything within a one hundred meter radius if nothing was done about it.
And as her tattered n' bloody dress flailed against the wind, the bare feet of the ghost skinned Queen remained firmly in the earth as her claws extended and pointed towards the scene of destruction unfolding before her.
"C'mon out of there, toots~ Ya' got something in there to make me tick. I crave it n' ya' need to play show n' tell with the class, please~"
With a twirl her finger, The Queen of Demons ended on a cherry note; despite the grim n' chaotic scenary around herself:
"Check ya' powers, ya hunger for mania n' you'll know my feelings to be oh-so-true!"

Why does it feel like I always kind of knew this day would come?] Alarms were going off pretty much all over the place, leaving only the Doctor staring at the monitor in front of him. It's like… wires in my head. He thought, placing a hand on the side of his head, breathing a bit hard. No. I'm… here. The man thought to himself, having to resist the feeling of insanity that was gripping and clawing along his spine from her presence. Why… does it feel like… Two major incidents had occurred between the woman who had come to call and the Doctor, Kabuto Hebi. The first had been during the Australian War, when the Doctor's madness had completely overcome his reason. His body had been unable to stop itself as he tried to murder the woman. He shuddered to think what would have happened to himself, his research, his possibilities if he had been allowed to go through with that attack. …Because of Nozomi. Thoughts of the blue haired Quincy helped him steady his ways of thought a bit, his hands moving quickly as he slid a finger onto the enter key. …Always knew… The other encounter was during a celebration. The Doctor had brought his wife and child to the Demon Realm with him. Perhaps this was a true sign of insanity… or perhaps the Doctor had honestly believed that he could protect them. While he was there, he had asked for this woman to watch over his child. …My, my. Why do I keep causing trouble for these two…? He wondered, breathing hard as his finger pressed into the enter key. He had made a similar request to that Quincy with the red eyes. Though the one he had made of her relating to his family was a bit more personal than just observing her realm. "There." Out of the computer, a single… bug rose. The Snake Hebi reached forwards, consuming it as the Doctor got out of his chair. "…Titanomachy Protocol." He stated aloud… making the inside of the building surge, Hebi's mouth opening as a variety of items went within the snake. The Doctor had always been preparing for something like this to happen. How did I always know something like this would happen. The Doctor had made several protocols for if this exact situation wold happen. Only a mad man would come up with as many precautions as he had. Who's paranoid now? He thought ironically to himself. The building had released all of the items which his research was contained within; it was not completely bare. There are maybe... three other individuals who could attempt to access what I've done here. For one of them... I made my records purely synthetic, out of living material... without using a single drive. For the other... Well, that's the whole reason I'm in this Black World in the first place. It is the only place where the Lightning Thief has no automatic influence... which means I can run every protocol I need to, in order to insure that everything is destroyed... everything but what I need to keep. I absolutely cannot, cannot... allow for this to fall into the wrong hands. …Which I suppose means this next part will hurt considerably. Hebi… The Doctor stood stock still… the snake sliding inside of his body. All around him, the cabin was beginning to collapse. Pressure and energy of madness and death, pushing in and crushing. The entirety of his cabin was destroyed… perfectly annihilated. However, standing amidst it all.. Was a man. Red lines streaked around his body, still in the middle of transforming. Gripped between both arms was a peculiar black scythe. Almost… protectively. The man's breath was coming out in strong pants, and he was the only thing that was still standing. The rest had been… obliterated. Perhaps this is for the best… of all the individuals who could have come after what I have been doing… I believe that she is… the least dangerous… which… is ironic in its own way. The Doctor's spine shivered, his eyes widening as a bolt began to rise out of the side of his head. Mana had seen this state before; it was the same one he had used in Australia. Unlike the one he had used then, he still only had two eyes. Tattered and damaged patches of flesh slid off of his body, and he was only able to keep himself upright with the scythe that he was gripping in his hands. "…I wonder… if my own madness called out to you about it." He said aloud, still shuddering a bit on the scythe. His transformation was still trying to finish, the blood splashes on his cloak not dispersing with the rest of its red. White stained red is what was left behind, the Doctor's pain receptors dimming as his defenses increased substantially. Standing up straight, the Doctor reached a hand up to his bloody chin, driving his fingers into it… while his other hand reached up to the screw on the side of his head. His eyes were moving lightly back and forth, his breathing shallow. He was still trying to fight against the influence of her madness, before turning the screw on the side of his head. Just like that, he began to visibly relax. "You know, about thirty other possibilities just jumped to my head. More than half of them because of what your very presence brings." He told her, the bloody hand coming out of his chin. His fingers slowly spread out, before he moved the hand up to his forehead. The blood spread out along his hairline and along some of it, looking very messy against the lifeless gray strands. "For example, I could always show off my Artificial Zanpakuto." He told her, twirling the scythe in one hand, the air around them beginning to stir up. "But… that insanity… you're emitting… is telling me that you would not really be pleased by that." He continued, the scythe still stirring the air up around them. The Doctor himself was no longer bothering to conceal his presence or abilities. It was very likely that the security of the Black World of the Hollow was beginning to go off all over the place, as not one but two juggernauts exploded outwards along their systems. "So… I can show it to you. But I'm afraid that I cannot give it to you." He told her, the scythe still spinning around in his hand. "Are you going to be civil enough in that regard?" He inquired, finally bringing the spinning around to a stop. "…If you can, then that is no problem to me… I would rather not get on the bad side of Shadowfall… I think you know that." He told her, personally thinking about that time he begged his ally to knock him out rather than fight them. ….There's just one thing… one thing I can't do… If this works… just one thing… one absolute thing… or it could mean… |

Song: Blue Grace - Word Count: N/A
"Darlin', ya' must not be aware of mah' powers. 'Dey r' capable of sensin' all sorts of sweet disturbances throughout the halls of 'dis ol' wonderful cosmos."
The tone of chipperness was quite the contrast between the visual image of Mana's pretty lil' face cracking, chipping n' oozing out a foul smelling substance that looked closer to oil than blood. In fact, the whites within the woman's eyes became totally drenched in this dreadful material. Mmmmmmmmmmm, yeeeeeaaaahhhhh, it brought down a hellish sensation of absolute disgust which shivered n' flowed throughout the spine of The Queen as an unimaginable pain flared about her insides. Twas as if there was somethin' chopping away at her heart, but for the life of The Demoness, she could not quite pin-point where it was comin' from.
Thus, there was nothing left to do but cope with the ten ton beast of her inner madness raping the entrails of the woman's tender n' silky lil' mind. And, as a result, the body of Mana broke down, exploded n' returned to a puddle of goo similar to tar. Moving at hypersonic speeds, this flood of fluids emerged before Dr.Hebi n' Ol' Queenie glitched herself back into a physical body. Since, in this moment of reformation, it appeared as if her body was lagging in realtime; making it seem almost as if she were a player in a video game who was cursed with some of the slowest interest speeds available to them. As, during this whole ordeal, a wretched screech of static ripped apart the landscape n' made pools of black liquid surge out of the ground around them.
At any rate, when she reformed, this oil substance spread throughout the scythe that Dr.Hebi was holding as ol' Queenie placed her right palm on it. To be truthful? Mana didn't give a single shit in the world about his concerns. All she desired was something to make her tick. And she was going to make that fact known quite well.
"S'ugah, ya' can do whatever the hell ya' feel is right. As I didn't come here to be bored straight to 'da grave, I came here because the essence of Eris herself told me I'd find somethin' of worth from you."
Then, in that same line of breath, Ol' Queenie formed about six tendrils or so made of pure energy. Wasting no time, she began to slither n' slide them all around Dr.Hebi's body; but never once touching him. Instead, the environment around them merely became more and more dismantled as this tar substance spread further out in the distance. At this point, the smell of blood, mold, grass n' bleach blanketed the whole area they were in. Twas' quite the sickin' aromas to indulge ones self in, but sweet lil' Mana wasn't quite in the best states of being right now to be all freshened up n' proper.
If one paid particular detail to her attire n' body, one may begin to notice all the scratches, wounds, dirt n' grime slathered n' caked across Mana's body. While her dress was absolutely saturated in dirt, emerald blood n' holes all across it's beaten n' tattered fabric. So something clearly wasn't right in the Alamo n' it didn't exactly take a rocket scientist to deduce that much.
"Lemme get one thing straight, hun: I ain't here 'fer 'mah kingdom, 'mah "followers" or anythin' as pointless as that. Nah, babe. I'm here to be fulfilled once more!"
Without warning, a sword formed out of the belly of The Royal Asthavon n' moved straight at mach five speeds. Provided she was close enough, Ol' Queenie intended to gore him a bit n' inject him with ample amounts of mania for him to get the POINT. BoTH figuratively, literally n' fer the sake of her puns. As, even while her body was rotting out n' dying, Mana always had time to make puns. To her dying breath will she forever remain as incorrigible as ever.
"Ya get the POINT, darlin'? I'll be as civil as whatever it is ya' can show me to give me 'dat get up n' go."
...
Well, at least he wasn't in hot water, right? That's a positive. If you can call being sentenced to a life of terrible puns a life, anyway.

"Well, Madame Madness… I can certainly guess at them, but I'm afraid you probably don't want me digging any deeper than that into them." The Doctor replied, not seeming bothered by how her face was cracking and breaking away. My… if I could absorb that energy right now, it would make things much easier… but for me to be able to do that, I would completely give into the madness… and right now, I do not believe that to be much of an option. But the Doctor was, well, a Doctor… and he did recognize the reaction. "Madame, are you in pain?" He inquired, while being half broken himself from her previous attack. Then she exploded. She was very casual about it, and the Doctor could merely use the opportunity to take a breather and regain his composure somewhat. To him, it kind of seemed like someone stretching themselves out. The show that she put on was certainly… interesting to watch. The Doctor supposed he had nothing else to do in that moment but enjoy watching it… well, that was not true, either. He was able to stand himself up straight, his white cloak straightening out along his body. He seemed nonplussed by the massive levels of screeching, but he did seemed phased by the presence of something else reaching for his scythe. Exploding out along its length, Dust Energy crushed anything touching its length, moving it to the side of his body as he side stepped around her forming body. "Apologies… I'm a bit protective of this." He told her, watching the tendrils beginning to appear around her body. He could deal with these as well, if he needed to… but he really did not wish to escalate hostilities with the Queen of Demons. "…Bored, hmm?" He paused, his free hand moving to his chin, lightly tapping it. In that statement, the Doctor could feel sympathy. He detested boredom; it was the reason that he did what he did. He entertained himself with his scientific inquiry, using it as the basis for the direction that he would take his life. Once more, the Doctor was unable to prevent himself from noticing the various wounds across her body. He was still a medical professional, despite any other experiments or philosophies he dabbled in. In a way… they irritated him. He wanted them to be gone. Part of the appeal of being a physician was the idea of being able to control wounds, control pain. The pain she was experiencing was not something the Doctor had desired for her to have. He had no control over it. His eyes widened as a blade shot out of her stomach. In that instant, the Doctor had a variety of ways that he could react. He could feel the madness coming off of that thing. If it impacted him, he would be reduced to a gibbering wreck. His mental processes kicked into high gear, analyzing his options as the sword tip worked its way out of her stomach. I could enter Unstable Mode. That's a bad idea; it would have the same end result as that item impacting me. I could attempt to stop it with my hand or Hebi. I really do not wish to put Hebi in harm's way. It was such a d-- Noise entered his thoughts, the sword growing closer as he strained himself harder. I could explode Dust Energy in front of me. But even so, she seems… "Graaah…" The Doctor's mouth opened, his left hand gripping against the tip of the sword. He could feel the corruptive influence of the Madness as it slid its way into his fingers. I apologize, Suzu… the perfect skin… you helped me make… is flawless, but I am flawed… His head twitched, the screw that was attached to it beginning to spin wildly as the Doctor moved his hand to the side, finally throwing the sword down. And then his left hand reached out to her stomach… and stitches began pouring out, stitches made out of spiritual energy. Each of the holes that had opened on her body were bound together, the blood still flowing through the miniscule spaces between the stitches. The Doctor had been forced to absorb some of the madness, and it was effecting his behavior as he moved Hebi to the side, his thumb bleeding. His eyes were jittering around in his head, shivering and twitching uncontrollably. She was dealing with one of the beings who had interacted with Madness the most, and the amount that she had put into him was a bit like injecting pure caffeine into a regular person. He could feel his focus taking a small hit, but that was only to counteract the massive amounts of stray and volatile thoughts that were now running around his head because of what she had done. He pressed the blood along his scythe's black handle, creating a puff of smoke. "Haha… those wounds, were really irritating me. If you're super sure about this… Madame Madness." He told her, his right hand donning the golden chained device. The small links tingled and clinked together, the Doctor moving without fear as he removed his hand from her skin. The tendrils were still placed around him. "I'll heal that hole that boredom has made… But you have to keep this our little secret… and don’t stab me again. I won't be able to fix myself if I use my experiment and you do that again." He told her very sternly, without any kind of fear or reservation. If she wanted to come along for the ride, she had best not hurt her driver. Otherwise she could find herself in the middle of the woods without any way to call for help. His fingers from his left hand were touching and stroking along the chains, configuring the peculiar device. "While I get this ready… Did you fight in the Platinum Heart Event?" |
