Artist: Bear McCreary - Song: flint and silver - Word Count: 1082 -

To perpetuate darkness, enveloping the sickness that was existence. Every time breath fades forth the air stagnates and creates a void of everything ... this shred of what they called semblance was pathetic. They stood here under its sun under its lights, in the wake of its evil. And there was only one throne of corpses here that one may dare lay clemency to. And the blood soaked the dirt as filth enveloped the world around him ... he made for the purpose of deprivation, the man beyond revelry beyond redemption ... beyond darkness.

The withering corpse of hate tended to endure even the worst hardships but it wasn't hate that drove him, merely progress of what this disease did to the world it encompassed... he was here because of death. Eyes staring into a blissful eternity as black was all men and monsters alike saw naught but the pitch of his soul encompassing the seclea of his eyes. His silence was all encompassing as those around him choke, the blood pouring from their eyes. Those tears of mothers and their children's cries of pain, it burdened him, placed a weight of exhaustible death upon him. The true envoy of death he had become, his very presence stained hearts black and reduced their beat to nought but a memory... he accepted his position as a monster, he cast his humanity away long ago, but the fate these mortals bore hurt. He watched them die some sort semblance of regret bore fruit for there lay no happiness in the eyes of eternity and he held those eyes.

Crouched before a child as her mother hugged her the life leaving them as simply his presence carved their beings to nothing ... he didn't want this but the truth was he was the envoy of death, and thus that taint bled from him. His own hand cradled the tiny child's lifeless head, the degradation even affecting her skin to the point that it tore away at touch marking his hand with the crimson of what once ran in the girls veins. His hands had always been stained with blood this made simply another corpse to add to his collection. And as he stroked the girls cheek his hand would raise brushing the red through his black hair his eyes raising. He never returned a single glance to carnage he caused, it was the outcome of all things, thus was dictated by death itself, any who passed the way of darkness itself would be consumed by it and as one looked down the trail he walked, corpses amassed in the hundreds and as his veins turned to black and the strains of his being erupted into the wings of the devil himself one could not question the truth that lay here .... he wasn't any mere man..he was Wolf Lionus a entity beyond the crippling perception of normality ... he was something different.

The truth lay in what was to come, the shackles that bound the freedom of those whose souls were a thing he eventually claimed. These beings were not just a cog in a wheel that turned a mechanism for some pretentious being seeking to become a god, there lay only one true god, he who is the beginning the end the in between and the eventuality, he who is death. But even if thats what the fate of all was they deserved the right to spend that time before their essence was accounted for as they wished. The only hindrance within that ideal was the simple necessity of power, the evocation of such power would inevitability drew not freedom they ... they sought ... it simply drew him.

And now he was here, the payment that none wanted and few saw. Was he here for blood? for the souls that would amass within the pit that harbored all he had taken? no he wanted to find something, he wanted to bear witness to a simple thing some consciously spouted forth as "peace" the calm the drew storms. Silence was something all sought, and something very few actually found. Wolf Was no exception to this, never was the world silent,it was loud it never ceased even around him death wouldn't calm the world it set it into panic, caused the echos that would never cease and it was unbearable. He was a being that heard all, but it didn't drive him to madness it didn't turn him to a mindless damned being that took joy in its loss of humanity... he longed for it ... he hated it. That was his fate, he was hate, the shell that held it at least.

And as his path continued there was none that would ever escape his torment without his consent and there was none that would understand. He had been upon this path for so long it was hard to even comprehend anymore what he was still fighting for, why all those times he rose, why the grave never contained him... it was simple... he wasn't ready to die. No amount off questioning his darkness could ever give it light but there was something that one may find, the darkness though lonely never ceased to be ... and he too was just like that darkness, he was no shadow waiting to die he was the eternal pit of death and darkness, the king of dark. His throne wasn't built to shackle those around him or rule over any, not made to be worshipped at the foot of, simply it was made for him to wait and to show those who declared themselves the true evil, the true darkness ... what darkness truly was.

But for that he needed something, he wanted something. His head cocked as his feet crushed the stones bellow, his destination only growing and becoming clearer. His figure came to a halt outside the mighty walls that hold within times oldest story... the story of a man who sought something beyond even the gods themselves, he stare into the life less wake he had brought behind him, not as any sort of greeting or as provocation but simply he couldn't control what death claimed ... and those souls were his, bonded forever. But as he look back at them he'd crouch once more staring over the decay to the beauty beyond, to the sunset that many could see but never truly appreciate. Morning had come to this realm... to K world, and yet darkness still enveloped it.

She arrived at the scene slowly taking the situation in as she landed. Her lithe frame appeared before Wolf taking in his features. Oh, he could hide him beneath the surface all he desired. But beneath is she could smell him that familiar scent. The scar on her chest was the remaining thing of Tsubaki. Though her hair was white and her eyes yellow the haunting visage of this girl was one not forgotten easily. Tsubaki Unabara had come as she spoke now. "Oh Pest, what happened to you? I hope you don't intend the same fate for me..Though I guess death by a brother's hand is preferred over someone else isn't it?" Something about her eyes and the way she looked at Wolf wasn't him she saw. She saw someone beneath the surface hidden beneath it all. She could sense her brother if only barely under all of what was going on. She held no expression as she gently gave a polite bow. "Greetings Wolf Lionus, it's nice to meet you. I have business with my brother if that's not to much trouble. His darkness seems to be troubling his heart, I still care very much about him."

She said now as she stood looking at the male with a smile on her face. She wasn't special in the slightest not in power she didn't compare to this enigma of death. But she didn't mind dying again if it was for Pest. She'd died once for Tsubasa what was another scar on her chest for her loved brothers. "Tsunashi was killed Pest, in his sleep by Demons..With his wife and children as well..I don't know what happened to Tsubasa rumors are empty in his current life.." Her expression turned sad as all she cared for in this world was her family. She became a demon just to watch over them again from the afterlife. This was her reward for everything, it was the chance to become more. She loved them all more than life itself and didn't care if torture was her reward. Araceli was a name she took in long standing. But in this life, she would accept herself as Tsubaki Unabara, the sister who kept the darkness at bay. Who saw the true man in Pest, not the monster.

"Pest I heard what happened, you truly are the heart of our family. You have never been a monster one day my sweet brother." She wondered how much it fell on deaf ears, it felt nice to speak to one. She'd never managed to meet Tsubasa and see what he became. She heard rumors from demonic bars and other things. That the Unabara had been harmed to an extent that went beyond the looking glass. It was a punishment on the head of that damn Quincy. Destroying everything they'd accomplished in a swoop. But now she'd set her eyes on a figure that was nostalgic in many ways. Pestilence Unabarathe person she considered the most honest and straightforward of her brothers.

A VOICE FOR THE SILENT

Chún Liàng
纯 亮

"一...二...三...四, 我在门口闻到一个入侵者!"
'One... two... three... four, I smell an intruder at the door!'

The hyped up and excited voice of Chún Liàng had rung out into her surroundings. She had laid atop of a building, the bright morning sun shining down upon her as it rose above the skyscrapers in the middle of Kokuryu City. One of the first things you learn to understand at Unitech was when the alarm was tripped; which was almost never. Not having slept the night before, Chun's body was filled to the brim with caffeine, her body quite visibly jittering and jumping even as she set up her giant rifle atop of the building. She careful laid atop of the building and pressed her eye up against the scope, viewing the scene before her eyes. Her original happy and upbeat attitude seemed to fade as her eyes fell upon the scene, a man clad in black with an aura of death visibly in the air. She didn't know the specifics of the situation, nor why he had arrived, but his outgoing appearance didn't match his actions in the slightest.

Her frown turned to a face of confusion as she brushed a strand of red hair out of her face, golden eyes still examining the ground through her scope atop her rifle. "Hm..." She pondered in confusion. She wondered what this mans purpose was, for someone to be visiting the Kokuryuteshi... it had to be serious, right? She wasn't sure why a man such as him would show. Just as these thoughts ran through her head, she watched as his hand ran down the cheek of a young girl, her life already faded before he even touched her. Chun's blood initially began to boil, but then she noticed something... He looked remorseful. He didn't want this to happen. The fact that his mere presence killed a girl... Chun could see the look of emptiness across his face, even from over five hundred meters away.

Cocking back the chamber in her sniper, she loaded a bullet into the chamber. Obliterum bullet - altered to track spiritual signatures. Tapping a few numbers and dials on the sniper itself, the weapon quickly siphoned through all the mix of energy to lock onto the target at hand: Wolf.

"当我回家时,我真的需要校准这个。"
'I really need to calibrate this when I get home.'

Bang.

Whizzing through the air, Chun shot a bullet that was aimed directly to magnetize towards Wolf's spiritual energy. She didn't know how he would react, but judging by how he simply killed two people by simply existing, she thought that it might test the waters a bit. Even as the bullet span through the air, she had already pulled her phone out of her pocket and pulled up a few holographic screens, tapping until she had taken control of a local PA system directly around Wolf's area. If the bullet did hit, it would burrow into the skin and corkscrew it's way into him, if he dodged slightly, there was still a slight chance for the bullet hit due to the magnetized ability to it.

"She shoots... Does she score!?"

Whether Wolf dodged, or even took the bullet, was irrelevant to her. If the bullet hit the target, she would find the purpose of his visit to the highly secured K-world. Nobody had visited Kokuryuteshi from an outside realm in years, and for someone to show up in the middle of their city with the power this man so clearly radiated? It was a cause for alarm, to say the least. Still talking over the PA System, she addressed Wolf directly and interviewed him with a blur of words. "What are you doing it Kokuryuteshi's capital city, friend? I don't think you know where you are... Or perhaps you do. That's why you're here isn't it!? To learn about us!? Or to steal from us? Ahhh just tell me already you're making me too curious!" she squealed at the top of her longs. She stood up slowly and gave a tilt of the head towards his general direction. She couldn't quite see him without the scope, Chun figured he might make his way to her after that.

Although her focus was broken for a moment as another party had entered the scene, even from her location, she could hear the words through a plethora of microphones spread throughout the streets, hacking into them and providing her with a source of audio for virtually every location in Kokuryu City.

It seemed these two were acquainted with each other, Tsubaki even spoke with a direct name, "Wolf Lionus." As those words left her mouth a very obvious groan came over Chun Liang's body. She had heard of the name Wolf many times, but most of the contexts were either negative or... outright non existent, no survivors to give such a report. So as her body remained loose and ready to move, she onlooked and listened to their conversation. If worse came to worse, she would move to their level directly.

"Why is everyone entering Kokuryuteshi World these days? Jeez I don't wanna have to kick you all out, I just got here myself. I leave China for one moment and I'm forced to repel invaders."

Artist: AwolNation - Song: Sail - Word Count: 1194 -

He had long seen the darkness take his soul, crush the person he once was. The void of life was all he knew anymore, the gripping touch of death had claimed him and now he was its champion, its cause and effect ... he was truly the heart of death itself. His eyes wandered over the form before him, he knew the being before she even opened her mouth pictures of the being where the most precious memories he had torn from the previous occupant of this body. But the truth was she had no idea what she was stepping into. and as he began walking it was obvious that he would not let her forget the lesson she would learn today. The architecture of her fate had truly been cruel but as he looked upon her he almost look tormented saddened by the outcome of this cruel worlds design. She continued to plead trying to find that little glimpse of light that lie bellow ... but she would never find it, and as she finished her words staring at the man he couldn't help but give a saddened smile at the words she spoke "You have never been a monster." The words exited his mouth yet he could no longer hear them, each step growing louder in his mind as he walked past the girl the black cloak of his trailing behind as he brushed past her ... he truly wished she had never come here ... for if she stayed this place would truly become her grave site.

"Pest isn't home right now. And trust me I, unlike him, have always been a true monster... i would begin running if i were you."

His eyes gave a small glance to her as it was easy to see the expression of remorce gone from his face, all that sat there now was a blank slate that truly conveyed one simple message, "run." However before the girl would even get a single chance to move her legs a wave of pure killer intent washed from this man a hue of deep green wrapping around him as the black and demonic look of the souls he had taken ripped off of him, the girl would instantly know what was to come .... the killer intent of the unabara ... with his own little touch. the energy quickly condensed evaporating into the very air itself as it would look to merge into this girls system, and if it did? with how precise and capable in terms of mental capacity ... it would probably fuck her right up. The energy would spread through her nervous system all the way to her brain and use the girls own thoughts against her triggering the her frontal lobe to be infected and thus trigger such things as hallucinations, what would he make her see? .... a sight pest once showed him .... a sight she would know well, her brother impaling her through the chest repeatedly doing this until the girl was driven to her brink. If she avoided it? there was another thing she may not have expected... he was already letting the dark green mist spread and staying, if she were to stay in its confines she would be at risk of its effects as well, the effects? simple those caught within its path would suffer the true pathogens of disease, they would begin feeling sick within mere seconds and the more time they spent within its path, the worse it would become.

You're poor at hiding.

his voice was defined and ultimately unsettling as he stood up straight a bang resounding behind his words as this bullet slammed into the mans skull burying itself through as it drilled itself inwards towards his brain. however ... he didn't drop hell all he did was scratch at where the hole previously was, not even a scar remained. Hell even the bullet was a mere memory as once it had entered his system his death matter infused blood cells had broken down and quite literally reconstructed and converted into death matter itself. This act left no real mark the man turning as he looked in the direction of this beings position, a sniper so far away even he could barely trace the smell. His inquest into this girl was met with a swift raise of an eyebrow as she spoke to this man or more accurately ... squealed at him. and with her words he began to walk, his black eyes fixated as he allowed one simple sentence to echo through this city itself for all to hear... he wanted all beings to know just what was to begin here today.

"i have come to bring darkness and decay to those that claim the broken crown of kings, i have come because the chain still grips throat around the necks of this world, i have come to see what k world holds and what kind of men and women stand within it's walls ..."

his words were almost stretched questionable, his steps where something that brought the darkness behind him the black cloak seemed to stretch forth hands of black and twisted faces clawing at the ground behind him dragging nails through dirt. His eyes black ... but their sclera was no longer red but the color of that deep essence of darkness that lay within him pure black and then within a second ... he was gone. The words spread from her mouth as silence erupted out, the girl seemed intriguing to say the least her very essence the smell, her soul was different. Every sent upon her was foreign china was the obvious assumption but beyond that he could smell it, that mortal essence ... human. His hand stretched forth past her crimson hair touching the pure metal of this rifle, the being lay behind her, leaning close to her ear as his next words whispered into the darkness his face emotionless cold and staring ahead beyond her as he spoke... a voice that could make a spine tingle as its coarseness ripped forth.

我来衡量你的灵魂的价值
"I have come to gauge the worth of your soul"

She felt that familiar feeling of murderous intent. It had been ages since she felt an Unabara Bloodlust. But oh this one had grown something of a pair to call that true bloodlust. So Pest wasn't home did that mean he'd flown the area entirely? She didn't have a way to confirm or deny Wolf's words entirely. She knew not to let that energy touch her or merge with her body. It would be messy if she did and it wouldn't be something this silver haired maiden could manage. Oh for certain he was much stronger than she was. Her eyes slowly looked at the poison as she took in the details. She didn't express fear or such emotions as she smiled a bit. Her mental state was twisted and in some ways broken. "I see, So Pest no longer resides with.." She said almost sad as she turned away and began to exit the area. Her business wasn't with Wolf himself in truth. She came here for her brother and decided to leave with one last thing. As the green miasma began to pour out of Wolf's body.

"You know, Pest used to have Tsubasa following him around pretending he was a hero. That child worshiped him so much. Pest used to tell me bedtime stories also, that was our personal secret. My favorite was the gift of the moon on the lake." She said before walking away this was a small bit. Something Pest told no one else in the world. This was her and his personal secret as they both enjoyed the company. But something began to happen to her physical body as though a hologram. She turned her attention towards that of the voice. "I beg your pardon, I wished to have words with my brother. Forgive me if I have caused a disturbance." She said politely as she lifted her dress a bit to curtsy. This projection wasn't going to last long under Wolf's spiritual pressure. The body may have been ripped away but the connection between her physical self and this manifestation she'd created. Those two were fairly strong as she smiled politely at Wolf.

"Wolf, that may very well be the truth of things. I have no way of knowing what the energy would have done. I am sad I couldn't experience his touch again as I died. Fare thee well Wolf Lionus." It was sudden perhaps like a small crack as the projection of her soul or perhaps something else vanished with a crack. Her real body wasn't far away as she sighed several miles from their location. The information was likely all she would get. That power was it his or Pests, Wolf would be a tremendous for in days to come. But she didn't sense lie in his words. This battle wasn't hers and K-World had it's own business and things going on. Araceli had a singular goal and that was to protect and guide her brothers. She needed to prevent what she sensed coming in the future. The worst case was Tsubasa becoming a Demon. That would be astronomically bad in several ways and cause trouble. This wasn't something that could be remedy by simply casting of the guard. This would be considered something she needed to avoid.

If he did become one she would have to create a projection for him to remain in stasis in. The situation with the Demonic Blood in the Unabara. It was a curse that went further then even Wolf or Pest knew. They had a small curse from their ancestor laying with Eris herself. This left them with a problem where they turned demonic at the slightest turn of events. This wasn't something ideal as the situation seemed to always draw on trouble after trouble. Araceli was born first with this tremendous problem. Pest had either left Wolf or done something else. She didn't think much of that as she began moving away from this place. It was time for her to leave those two to play as they desired. Araceli wasn't able to contain Pest not in her present state. So much power locked away within the cognition. She had been born with a massive power but lost much of her reiatsu using it. Such was the curse and she didn't entertain for a moment what kind of monster her brother would be upon his demonic transformation.

A VOICE FOR THE SILENT

Chún Liàng
纯 亮

Even though these people were intruders in Kokuryuteshi, it was quite a surprise that there was such a lack of response. Perhaps it was out of fear of the individuals in question, or perhaps that they'd let Chun handle it. She couldn't be quite sure, but the Chinese girl was sure of one thing: Wolf was searching for a purpose. As soon as Tsubaki had spoken his name, many of different thoughts crossed her mind. Wolf himself was arriving in Kokuryu City to seek refuge, was her first thought. 'No...' She thought. A home? A new beginning? A man as powerful as this shouldn't need to run from anything. Yet he was here - his intense spiritual pressure weighing down upon her powerless body. It was a miracle she could even keep her back up straight at this point - yet she continued to listen and observe the developing situation.

The wind swept over Kokuryuteshi, the warm morning sun penetrating through the clouds. Chun's gaze had never left the man clad in black, the scope of her sniper pinned directly on his head even as he continued to walk forward. At that moment - she noticed her bullet. It hadn't simply disappeared as she fired as she anticipated, in fact it was a direct hit to the center of his forehead. Yet... No damage? It seemed as if Wolf continued to walk forward, not so much as a flinch towards the enhanced bullet that corkscrewed it's way into his skull.

"他是怎么做到的!?你是什么...?"
'How did he do that!? What are you...?'

Exclaiming out loud in a shocked tone. She couldn't tell if Wolf had simply taken the bullet to the head like it was nothing, or perhaps he removed it. She saw it directly hit - yet there wasn't so much as a scratch on his face. Chun had seen some crazy powers throughout her years since Kokuryuteshi picked her up, but this was on another level. The young woman whom had traveled to meet him had addressed her though, and trying to snap out of her state of confusion, she answered, this time in English. "F-forgive if you have caused a disturbance? You're in the middle of Kokuryu City, you imbecile! Even someone as relaxed as me can't let that slide, you're lucky Kin himself hasn't removed you from existence." Her voice was a mix of irritation and confusion, as not only did this woman show up as if nothing was wrong, spawning directly in the heart of Kokuryu City, she had the nerve to ask if she was causing a disturbance.

For but a moment, her concentration on Wolf had been broken. And just as she snapped back to reality, the cold hand of darkness caressed the side of her cheek - a cold chill running up her spine as he did this, speaking from behind her. As soon as she felt this hand, a golden aura began to radiate from her tattoos, eyes turning into a pure golden colour at the same time. Kicking the rifle to the other side of the rooftop, Chun's eyes centered on Wolf as she bounced back.

"黄蜂!"
'WASP!'

Smashing through the windows below, a small machine the size of a typical smart phone began to float just over the edge of the building. Taking a long leap, her left hand grabbed onto the machine - holding her in mid air as it flew up a tiny bit, creating a small amount of distance between Wolf and herself. The moment he performed no action, her eyes and tattoos of the golden hue began to dim, however she now held a large revolver-like pistol in her hand - loaded with fifty of the same bullets she had shot from her sniper - pointing directly at his head again.

"What kind of people stand within our walls!? What is this, a vacation for you!? The people of Kokuryuteshi stand on principle, we stand for protection and removal of incompetence throughout all worlds! Why did you kill that mother and child just before!?" Her clearly irritated voice turned into that of anger.

Yet, her anger seemed to instantly dim the moment she heard him speak Chinese directly back at her. She had not met someone else in K-world who spoke Chinese naturally, and while Wolf himself didn't seem to be Chinese himself, it was a welcome change and actually calmed her nerves a bit. Even though his words may sound sinister, and his intentions somewhat worrisome, her jitters began to cease somewhat.

"你说中文吗你的意思是“值得我的灵魂”?"
'You speak Chinese? What do you mean "Worth of my soul"?'

A lot of questions remained in her head, yet as they did, she still hung there in mid air - pistol still aimed directly at his head. If he made a move, she wouldn't be afraid to pull the trigger. Not like it would do much to a man like him, it seemed.

Artist: AwolNation - Song: Sail - Word Count: 1194 -

Her Skin was warm, pure even smooth and emanating heat that he hadn't felt in awhile ... heat that only came from living things. It was hard to imagine the ideals of men anymore, it seemed like every man and woman wanted to be on top of the others. Humanity was an uncertain thing, these creatures that wore the same flesh as him seemed to not understand the thing inside him was much more than simply another one of them. He wasn't right, he had no soul anymore and it cut at him for he envied this being and all the things it felt ... he envied its warmth. so as it drifted away from his grasp its teeth baring like a animal attempting to show some form of bravery he understood... creatures cant perceive what death truly is. So as she stepped back this 'wasp' of hers rising up and her aim centered directly upon his forehead he didn't even seem to react. The man stared not trying to invoke war not trying to make any hostile moves... he was bare.

He heard the words of pests sister as she dissipated into nothing like her appearance here was a mere side note a joke of a meeting that seemed irrelevant and distant from what was truly taking place. The man clad in black look to the sky above as the girl in front of him speaking words that seemed to pour forth like they meant something. It was odd the eventuality in all this seemed obvious, yet she questioned why he was here ... like his words had no meaning. He was waiting be it for the shadows that clung to him to drag him bellow into the black and let him die or maybe he was waiting for the world to change what it was. but in the end, he waited long enough, it was time to do something. Death is the only eventuality after all it is the only constant, yet there are those who took lives and proclaimed them theirs? how can a soul belong to two beings at once?

你问了很多问题。
"You ask a lot of questions."

Azure was the only one he had ... the only being even remotely like him, and now he was gone. Maybe that's what brought him here? Maybe it was the ideals? to wolf it didn't matter his skin crawled with the darkness that befell him and he continued to fight no matter what was in his path and he would always fight. But right now there was no fight this girl was someone that lay at the gate that he would allow open... a gate not to let him in but to let others out. Thus the lock must be broken. The girl had questioned him on the acts he committed and the things he knew things he said ... she was talkative, he liked that about these creatures, they were inquisitive by nature.

"You ask why i killed the girl and her mother? its because the darkness in ones soul never ceases, we struggle with it until we die and must live with what we cause ... i can't help it, can't help them ... i want to die."

his last words were very emphasized the serious near emotionless tone drifting out, he was not sad or depressed the words were more malicious than anything. It wasn't a threat wasn't a plea of help it was the solemn truth that he lived with every single day. His eyes glanced towards the city as he walked along this rooftop to look out over it almost ignoring the girls very presence. His hand moved as his jagged nails sunk into his throat, the man quite literally tearing his own jugular open dragging it across as it tore flesh free and allowed the crimson blood to spill forth. But this only lasted for mere seconds as just as quickly as he tore it open it would close healing like nothing was there, the blood staining his white porcelain skin the only true proof this had happened.
