» Personality:

Morality and Alignment

Kimiko's most defining trait is her perceived superiority of her ideals and morality. She believes if everyone just followed her rules and ideas, she could make the world a great place. While noble in intentions, she takes this to the extreme and attempts to subjugate others to her will and ideas to further her own cause and can be very ruthless to those to that try to get in the way - she would not hesitate to kill someone who she viewed as incompatible to her rules. For Kimiko, the ends justify the means, so anything goes in the quest to make the world hers.

This is why she is aligned as Lawful Evil - while she has good intentions of wanting to make the world a peaceful place, Kimiko will do anything in her power to ensure this goal and will exploit and use other people and any resource she can acquire to work towards it. She does not mesh particularly well with more chaotic evil characters that just want to see the world burn - that defeats her intentions.

Despite her perceived evil, violence is not usually Kimiko's first port of call - she will try to use her words and perfusion to make someone see the "light" in her view. Because of her relatively attractive looks despite her true age, she could go as far as using seduction like strategies against more weak willed individuals susceptible to such an approach.

Superiority Complex

Kimiko's superiority complex is the stem for her actions ultimately - believing herself to be above everyone else and thus she should be the one in charge of everything. She does not fit well into any organisation for this reason unless she was leading the entire org. Her age also plays a part into this - having seen the repetitive nature of conflict on the earth and in the various realms over and over, she believes she can break the cycle of violence that seems to plague the world with her wisdom/age.

This can spell trouble vs Kimiko as she can lead herself into dangerous situations with this line of thought. When clearly outclassed, she still won't be able to admit she might be wrong or weak and would fight to the bitter end to prove otherwise. Because of Kimiko's attitude and complex, she earned the nickname of Morality's Mistress from those that have encountered her.

In addition, because of her complex Kimiko expected to be treated as a superior/royalty - disobedience, not addressing her properly and not being respectful to her would easily anger and annoy her. Unfortunately for her, not everyone is willing to treat her as such which leads her

Generosity

Despite her ruthless work to enforce her ideals on the world and willingness to do anything to achieve it, regardless of it being considered evil, towards those that do follow her she can show kindness and be generous to those that would agree with her. This is mainly fueled by a more insidious idea however - everyone that would agree with her and follow her ideology is a valuable resource so it is in her best interest to make sure once they are subjugated, they will not second guess their loyalty to her.

It is possible for Kimiko to become more affectionate to a particular person if they agree with her ideals and show her enough caring as despite all she may preach about ruling over everyone else, she has been alone for a long time and strongly appreciates being cared about by someone else. This is a potential soft spot for anyone trying to approach her. She would not express it very openly however as she would be quite tsundere in such a relationship due to her not wanting to seem weak and insisting shes above the other person despite her feelings.

Law and Order

Kimiko's ruthless ambition to rule the world makes her be ideologically driven towards enforcing strict order - while this may not seem usual for someone "evil", her version of order is extremely strict and anyone who disrupts peace is someone who has to be stopped or killed without hesitation. Anyone that would seek to cause chaos in her ideal world would be have to be destroyed.

Intelligent, Ambitious

Kimiko is known for being rather intelligent which also feeds into her superiority complex. She has studied a lot in books in her private time over the many years she has lived, learned a lot about the different types of races that exist in the realms and generally is very perceptive and manipulative - allowing her to get what she wants most of the time with some cunning. This leads her to her very ambitious goal of a peaceful world, using this intelligence she has acquired to get there.




» History

Kimiko was birthed by a family within the Demon World - the family wasn't particularly high class or nobility and the area of the world in which they resided was not quite peaceful. From a young age, Kimiko had to learn how to defend herself rather quickly or become dog food to some of the savages that walked the region of the world she inhabited. Despite all this, she always wondered why it had to be like this - why did lives have to be wasted to something like violence?

As she grew older, she found herself indulging in reading books about human history, conflicts in general. She wanted to try to understand the root causes from a young age. The deeper she got, her thoughts on how it could stopped slowly came to the surface. If these murders and chaotic people were removed, the world could be peaceful. If it wasn't for all the different factions and politics, there would be more peace. This is how she viewed it. However, she first noted that her parents and family were quite the propagators of chaotic deeds, causing other demons in the realm grief. They would just tell their daughter they were doing what they had to do - that's how the world was. Kimiko rejected their ideals.

She continued to grow, with her ideals and ideas becoming more set in stone. The world needed to change and it had to start with eradicating these chaotic people who spread the seeds of discord in the realm. She reached the logical conclusion - she would take her own parents life and begin her quest to rid this world of discord and make it peaceful for all. Kimiko would carry out the deed on a fateful night, in their own place they called home while they were resting. They would have never been able to predict that she'd take this path. However, Kimiko was far from heartless. It didn't take very long for her to mentally destabilize into what was near insanity. For the next few days, she went on a spree of death killing demons that she perceived as causing chaos and further destabilizing the world.

Eventually, she collapsed and fell into a unconscious state for a matter of days. Upon awakening, thankfully alive her memories had been altered. When she tried to recall what happened to her family, she remembered that someone else killed them and not herself. The intense grief and insanity she experienced had messed with her memories and she was unable to know the truth now. Prehaps for the better, Kimiko now felt the pain of loss like her family had been taken from her - because of chaos. Chaos had to end so that people could live happy lives. This ultimately reinforced her beliefs and thus she decided to try and spread her message across the realms.

Hundreds of years passed and since Kimiko was a lone wolf, she avoided trouble and bore witness to the never ending amount of conflicts. She trained herself mentally, trying to become as wise as she could because now Kimiko's sights were on a much more ambitious goal as she developed a level of arrogance - if she was in charge, she could make the worlds peaceful and no one would have to experience the pain of their family being murdered. Despite this not being the truth, it was all she could remember now.

Her mission was set. Cut to the present day and now Kimiko is attempting to try and gather resources and allies and she would not let anything get in the way of her dream. It was best for everyone and she definitely knew best in her eyes. Conflict destroyed lives and it was a never ending cycle, she decided. Peace was her end goal and she was willing to use or do anything to achieve it.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions, after all.



» Equipment:

The Trident of Queens

A family heirloom that Kimiko inherited after killing her family, it is her primary weapon and uses the weapon to channel her Demon Magic as well as her unique Shadow magic. The weapon is made to be said out of a unearthly steel found only in the Demon World that is near-unbreakable and the lore of the weapon is that the holder will use the trident to conquer all before them. Because of the size of the weapon - she uses a demon ritual to bring the trident to her and to un summon it. Despite its unknown metal making it very durable - if it is broken, she will need to re summon it which leaves her temporarily vulnerable.




» Natural Abilities:

High Spritual Pressure

Kimiko's spiritual power is definitely not average - even without unleashing her true form, people can note that she has a strong, dark like presence with her spiritual energy and often can use this to intimidate those weaker than her.

Master Weapon Skills

Kimiko is very masterful with a variety of weapons, including her signature weapon, the Trident of Queens which she yields at all times. She has been able to use this weapon to kill entire groups of demons by herself, even when vastly outnumbered and can hold her own against many fighters.

Adept Speed

Kimiko is no slouch in speed - she is able to quickly to outmaneuver most of the demons she had to battle throughout her childhood as well as be acrobatic in her fighting style, able to attack someone swiftly from a variety of angles. However, her speed is not her strongest asset compared to her raw weapon ability. In order to compensate for this, she makes use of Shadow Movement to keep up with people faster than her, but this doesn't solve her issues.

Her Shadow Movement abilities have been shown to be above average due to her needing to rely on it in some situations.

Adept Strength

Kimiko despite how she may look is very strong. She is strong enough to crush boulders and rocks with her bare hands as well as being able to flat out kill weak demons with her fists. Compared to demons around her level, her strength is not to be underestimated but this is not her super strong point either - she can be matched in strength by many fighters.

Adept Endurance

Kimiko's rough childhood of fighting to survive and enduring many injuries over the years has led her to become quite enduring despite her some what fragile appearance, in addition because of her power's within Za Koa her Akuma Kyodo is above average which only increases her durability further. She is able to tank direct physical hits and energy attacks - but it is not unbreakable. With a focused or strong attack, it is possible to break through.

Genius-Level Intelligence

From years of studying, Kimiko is very perceptive and has a wide knowledge of the different races she can encounter and can make deductions about enemies weakness in a short amount of time. She never fights without strategy and always has at least 3 backup plans in a fight. She has been able to deceive people onto her side and feign weakness in order to gain advantages.

Affinity for Hell

With Kimiko being a demon - her abilities and power would grow with the presence of Hell. However, she has never been to Hell or uses hell-like abilities.

Za Koa

Za Koa is Kimiko's second strongest demon skill - being able to use this power to use such abilities such as the Black Inferno Blast and Kage Chōkyō-shi to travel between dimensions. She has not displayed the capability to use the ability in the heat of a battle however. She has the capablity to use Za Koa Infulence to taint the area with darkness - which ties into her unique shadow magic ablities as well as boosting her Demon Magic potency as well as her general speed and reaction times and strength.

Demon Magic

Arguably her strongest demon ability, she has a firm mastery of Demon Magic, being able to create defensive barriers with ease to protect herself from attacks that would otherwise significantly wound her and can create a wide variety of potent, deadly offensive spells that can cause destruction - toppling buildings and so forth. She does not usually use summon type magicks but definitely has the capability to do so if she so wishes. Her skill in Demon Magic has allowed her to create her own special kind of magic, creating a new unique energy that only has been witnessed with her.

Curse Ability

Kimiko's curse ability is usually used to try and gain new allies and seduce people to her side. It is a curse that affects the target mentally. When Kimiko uses this ablity, if it succeeded the person would be way more susceptible to her commands and start to perceive her as a queen like figure. This curse is only used with permission - and has no significant effect against those with a stronger tier or even those with a high enough willpower can resist the curse. It would mainly be used for story purposes rather than in a battle.



» Unique Abilities:

Shadow Magic

Her grasp of Demon Magic has allowed Kimiko to create her own special subset of this known as Shadow Magic - which is embodied as black spiritual energy which is very destructive in nature. It is an element unique to her. As a baseline, she is able to create barriers and basic attacks such as bolts of shadow energy and so forth. In addition, this type of magic ran in Kimiko's family and was taught it from a young age. This magic has one primary summoning ablity associated with it in Kimiko's current state.

Kimiko's Shadow energy differs from regular energy based attacks the unique property of Shadow energy is the ability to "corrupt" other energy sources and turn it into more shadow energy that Kimiko can control. The following example would explain it best - imagine a Hollow shooting a Cero at Kimiko and she reacts by creating a barrier of shadow magic - the barrier would be able to absorb the Cero and change the properties of the attack to become shadow energy then shoot it right back at them as shadow energy, without using any of Kimiko's energy. To summarize the process - when an energy attack collides with her shadow energy, the energy is absorbed and its properties are changed to become shadow energy and then Kimiko can use it, usually in an offensive manner to fire back.

Also, the ability could be used against defensive energy barriers to turn the barriers against them - say if Kimiko uses a shadow energy attack against a barrier of spiritual energy, it could end up being corrupted and turning into shadow energy meaning Kimiko will have control of it, working in a similar fashion to defending from offensive attacks. The same restrictions apply

However, this does have its drawbacks - the main one being that is only directly effective against energy attacks directly weaker than Kimiko - against stronger attacks it won't directly convert all of the attack into shadow energy, only a fraction will be converted potentially and if the power difference is too big, then none of the energy will be converted, having no effect. If an energy attack is partially absorbed, then Kimiko will still be able to suffer damage from the attack. The converted shadow energy attack is also only as strong as Kimiko. Say she is 3 tier and partially converts a 2 tier's attack then it will still be only on a 3 tier's level.

Certain types of energy may also be incompatible to be converted e.g Death Energy and so forth but against the basic energy types such as elemental energy (Fire energy, lightning, etc) and spiritual energy attacks such as Cero it will be effective.

This energy is the basis for her unique spells and abilities.


Shadow Magic Spell: Shadow Wave

One of her more basic spells, Kimiko with this move creates a wave of Shadow that is wide in nature and covers the direction shes facing in a 90 angle and has a range of a soccer field (1 acre) - once it reaches its full length, the energy causes a explosion covering the range of the wave. Being caught in the initial wave causes simple matter to just completely destroyed from the force of the wave but against spiritual beings, it could cause them exterior injuries from the concussive force of the energy before the wave eventually explodes which could have varying results - weaker characters could lose limbs, come out with burns from the explosion and so on. This depends on the characters durability - higher tiers would be able to defend themselves from this attack without a whole lot of damage.


Shadow Magic Spell: Nightmare Scalpel

This spell is where Kimiko creates a small concereated beam of shadow energy and shoots it - this beam is intended to pierce and break through defenses and is capable of piercing through defenses such as Hierro and so forth slightly stronger than Kimiko - however more advanced defenses in this area would be able to stop it. The consequences of being struck by this attack could include internal damage as the beam pierces right through people and leave a gaping hole where you got hit.

Shadow Magic Spell: Shadow Barrage

(Cooldown: 2 Posts)

The Shadow Barrage spell is an artillery strike of many shadow bolts. Kimiko holds her hand up and creates many bolts of shadow (approximately 50) that then go high into the air and crash down around an area, creating miniature explosions. She is able to focus all of the bolts into one area or spread them out over a wider area. This ability would be able to cause destruction to a small area of a town or be concentrated to cause a lot of damage in one specific tiny area.

Shadow Magic Spell: Trident of Shadows

(After 4 posts, the cooldown is 4 posts.)

For 4 posts, Kimiko morphs her Trident weapon into a pure shadow form. The pure shadow energy is capable of piercing through more matter, increasing Kimiko's raw attack power as the Trident is able to cut through most matter way easier as a trident of pure dark energy. However, strong defenses can still hold their own vs the shadow energy weapon and after 4 posts it reverts to its normal physical state.

Shadow Magic Spell: Trident Shadow Lightning

(Cooldown: 2 posts)

With this ability, Kimiko channels her shadow magic through the trident, creating 3 bolts of lightning enpowered with her shadow magic, that then strike out at a specific target, if they successfully land, the target will be electrocuted and the bolts will explode. The dangers of this attack are the lightning threatening to cause electric shocks and burns and then the explosion afterwards. The shadow magic element means that the corruption can cause defenses weaker than Kimiko to be taken over and the lighting make contact.

Overall Power Increases

In her true form, she gains a power boost in all of her skills and power - her true spirtual energy comes out, wish can easily intimidate those below her power and in this state, her spiritual energy is quite formidable, almost doubling from her normal state.

Her demon skills also become stronger as she uses more of her power to enhance her strength in Demon Magic, as well as able to move faster with Shadow Movement and her Akuma Kyodo becomes more potent and harder to break in this form making her more durable. In this form, she is able to use more of her advanced spells with her Shadow magic and additionally all of her abilities in her normal state become more potent and powerful, becoming more deadly and destructive.

She physically becomes stronger being able to destroy buildings with ease using her weapon and potentially could do it with her fists as well.


Shadow Magic Spell: Nightmare of Heiankyou

(Once Per Thread)

With her true form, Kimiko becomes able to use this more powerful Shadow Magic. Nightmare of Heiankyou creates a cloud of shadow magic above a target and then strikes them with 30 bolts of shadow lightning, 10 times more than Trident Shadow Lightning which is way more potent and destructive, being strong enough to do damage to around 2 acres worth of distance if spread out or if focused in one specific area, enough to leave a significant crater in the focused area. The damage would more significant and could cause severe burn damage, explosive damage and the electricity risks as well. This attack is defensible however - escaping the zone radius is possible and a good defense would minimize damage from this attack.

Shadow Magic Spell: Night Parade

Night Parade is Kimiko's primary summoning ablity. The name references a concept within Japanese folklore, Hyakki Yagyō (百鬼夜行, Night Parade of One-Hundred Demons)

Kimiko uses a significant portion of her power to create 100 spirits of pure Shadow Energy, that look ghostly in nature and lack legs like a typical spectre/apparition. For arms, they have shadow energy blades. Kimiko then can command any number of them to go attack the target with their blade arms. Getting stabbed by these spirits not only incurs the physical damage of being stabbed but in addition the shadow magic incurs a psychological effect of making it feel twice as painful, which can incur bad psychological effects on weaker willed characters. Against stronger willed characters however, this effect can be negated.

The spirits are trivial to defeat as they have no real endurance but because they are compromised of shadow energy, attempting to use energy attacks against them results in the corruption effect detailed in Unique Abilities. However, if the spirits are able to notice they are about to die, they will explode in a last ditch effort to cause damage, causing a explosion small in size but since we are talking about 100 spirits the explosions could stack up and cause a lot of devastation. Kimiko will set them to explode if they are unable to land a hit on a target.

This is one of Kimiko's most potent abilities but also the most draining because of the amount of power it takes to summon the shadow spirits which is one of its drawbacks.

She is not physically changed but her eyes assume a bright chaotic red - much more defined than her usual red eyes.

Maximum Power

In this form, Kimiko takes everything one step further and begins to use her maximum possible power - her demon skills reach their limits and so does her physical ability. She is fully able to use the power of her Demon Magic and her Shadow Magic abilities and all of her previous spells are increased in potency and power.

Her physical strength increases as she is now definitely able to crush buildings with her bare hands. She does not become more durable or faster in this stage - the full power of her speed/endurance are unleashed in her true form and she gains access to her final most powerful spells using Shadow Magic, known as Forbidden Shadow Spells.

Forbidden Shadow Magic: Erobos

(Once per thread - if this is used, no other spells are usable.)

Erobos is the first of forbidden spells Kimiko has access to - a techinque that ran in the family that was forbidden due to the serious consequences of using the spell. The name is derived from Greek mythology, Erobos being the personification of darkness.

When Erobos is used, a massive shadow is cast over the area Kimiko and her target are in, the shadow covering up to 2 acres. All natural light becomes blocked and then in the light blocked area, hundreds of shadow bolts get fired at the target, causing mass explosions and destruction in the 2 acre area regardless of its focus due to Kimiko using her full power. The second stage is then that hundreds of lighting shadow bolts strike in the area. The finale is that then the shadowed area focuses on the target, narrowing down to unleash a final destructive focused beam of shadow aiming to completely destroy the target, causing complete destruction of the environment. in the area it strikes.

This ability is the accumulation of her previous abilities - a strong defense will be needed to survive the barrage of shadow bolts and shadow lighting attacks but the main lethal part is the final attack however it is possible to evade it but it would require a very strong defense to come out unscathed - even stronger defense would not come out unscathed from this attack. This ability almost completely drains Kimiko of using further power and would likely be severely weakened after it has ended.

In addition, because of the chaotic nature of the ability, Kimiko is personally opposed to using such an ability unless it is fully needed to advance her goals. She needs to be put into extreme desperation to even consider it.

Forbidden Shadow Magic: End Time

(Once per thread - if this is used, no other spells are usable.)

Currently this is Kimiko's ultimate and final ability - the usage of which would likely endanger her own life. For this reason, even though she devised the spell, she listed it as Forbidden.

To use this ability, she has to use her own life energy to satisfy the spells need - which means right off the bat, she would have damaged herself in the soul and she would need to seek aid after it is over which is why this ability is a danger to her own life. On top of that, she uses all of her remaining spiritual energy for this spell.

The actual spell itself after channeling her power involves Kimiko combing the chaotic Demon Magic power into her shadow magic, creating a massive unstable ball of shadow magic that is way more destructive than her previous abilities. With Kimiko, because of her disdain for chaos and chaotic individuals, she out right refuses to use such an ability that involves her having to become chaos herself. However, sometimes when even Erobos fails her, she must fall back onto this.

She then launches the unstable ball of shadow at a target, causing a massive explosion that would be enough to make an entire city block become smoldering ruins. This ability would be able to severely wound most individuals with only the strongest being able to entirely block the ability and even then it'd take an impressive feat of endurance to pull this off - most powerless/weak individuals would just become atoms if caught in the radius of this attack. More strong invidiuals would definitely be able to survive but would suffer moderate to severe damage.

Despite the power of this attack, It is extremely rare for Kimiko to do this ever because of the nature of the attack directly contradicting what she stands for, even more rare than the latter attack described. In addition, she would be unable to fight and be in a very poor state due to the life energy she puts into this attack.
