General Information
Background: The question has been asked several times over. The world and its cultures have evolved and changed so often. Warrior cultures and beliefs spring up from time to time. Showcasing what it means to be a truly gifted warrior beyond this world’s expectations.Spartans, Samurai, Ninja, Gladiators, Vikings and so many other cultures have come to being. They all practiced a code and came to accept a life of conduct and way. Yggdrasil was formed and created by the vision Tsubasa had for the future. For building and creating the ultimate warrior culture. Creating a brand and almost a lifestyle that functioned in that. Studying and building the desired result by bringing the Unabara with him. Tsubasa helped form and develop the structure of Yggdrasil. This faction while small has developed extremely potent fighters. Making them capable of performing and showcasing skills few others have. He’s seen what this world can produce on multiple levels. Seeing the structure and practice that was put forward by each person. The trouble with these cultures that were founded is they are simple memories. Yggdrasil takes root in these memories using them as a foundation and building the ultimate culture. Attempting to grow and become the greatest culture they can. While objective wise they aren’t after anything large or looking for world conquest. They are looking for a place that can be called home where they can practice and grow. Tsubasa had grown tired of the nonsense that seemed to follow certain things. Yggdrasil’s goal while lofty to be the strongest isn’t something they take without reason. They are settled into the prospect of developing and growing the ultimate fighting force. They aren’t interested in technology if the person cannot be great without it and grow to a level beyond even that. They feel as though it limits the production and potential of people.
Goals:The goal while not an easy one is rather simple, they desire to be the strongest. To be the best culture of a warrior's embrace ever seen. They don’t falter or question the goal at hand. Becoming the strongest is their objective and the practice they have in mind. Each one is devoted to the warrior’s resolve. The code inscribed that will always be mindful of it in many ways. They don’t have rules or laws but a singular code they follow that is sworn upon. This code is what helps the conduct and be them beyond the regular. They fight with a warrior's resolve and embrace that life fully. While it’s no small feat the organization does stand at a neutral/protagonist belief in their efforts. Tsubasa’s construction of this place began the steps for whatever Yggdrasil grew into. The seeds of the World Tree have only just begun to grow.
Ouroboros Code:This code is the law that binds Yggdrasil and is special. Known to members as the Ouroboros Pact, it means they’ve accepted the terms of it. This basically helps them function and conduct themselves as warriors. The code is as follows when fighting does nothing that disgraces yourself. Bring honor to yourself and those around you who have picked up the sword. Accept retribution openly and embrace what it means to be a culture. Fight like every battle is one you can learn from a win or lose. Victory isn’t the stable of learning but the stable of acceptance. This day cannot change without you to guide it. Your blade and devotion to your ambition must be firm. Harder than Iron or steel itself, taking on a life of its own accord. The Ouroboros Code is mainly used for higher ranking people.
The Nine Realms
Asgard: This is the location of those who lead Yggdrasil, fearsome warriors are within this realm. Known for being extremely capable and deadly in the art of things. Most here have earned the place here through blood and much sweat. The culture of a warrior is established in this upper echelon of people. Those who’ve made it to Asgard’s primary focus is to give back to the established order. To further the culture of warriors by any means they can. To unlock potential but also protect the land of the World Tree. For no Realm within Yggdrasil is unable to fight altogether. All of them are capable fighters, the warriors of this realm only come down as a last resort. To challenge and protect, but they are known to everyone. But even for Asgard, there must exist a balance a place to go between the those who’ve chosen this road.
Alfheim: This place is the home of those who pass the messages from Asgard down. They are the peacekeepers among the Organization. Keeping in fighting to a small amount and from getting out of hand. By creating this faction they’ve acknowledged that peace is difficult to keep. The organization while beautiful in it’s right will have those stains which decide to bring about the ugly things from within. Alfheim is there to prevent it and take care of things while also acting as guards for Asgard. They protect the place and those here with an almost brutal loyalty. They are considered in some cultures as the honor guard. Those who would defend others without a second thought for themselves. This is the thing places like this need in order to flourish and grow in prosperity. To build and truly begin growing as a faction and a group to themselves. Yggdrasil’s peacekeepers are one of a kind.
Svartalfheim: These are practices of the darkest of deeds. Those who have come here have in some cultures abandoned the code. But in Yggdrasil, even an assassin is a warrior. Only a different breed and practice of the style when it comes down to it. Assassination and fighting face to face lead to the same result. Someone is going to die in the end, this is embraced by Yggdrasil and they’ve created this realm for those better suited to it. In the nine realms, the skills of these people are exceptional giving gifts to them. Yggdrasil has some of the best assassins the world has ever seen. Trained by exceptional people who lead towards a brighter tomorrow and practice. Allowing for them to grow and develop themselves in the art of the kill. While this culture breeds something different, Svartalfheim is a piece of the puzzle that can never be forgotten or mistaken.
Muspelheim: The military of the faction these are first response. Eager for battle and filled with Valkyrie and berserker seeking their chance at glory. For Yggdrasil, they live for the fight and battle that exists in things. Muspelheim is filled with hot blooded and vicious warriors to its core. They have a firm belief that using kido or such things makes someone weak. The practice and ideas are based around moving forward with pure physicality. Nothing else is important or else matters as much to this group. While they uphold the practice of being the ultimate physical beings. Capable of flipping tanks and taking out platoons with just a single shout.
Rank Information
Jarl: These are leaders who lead by example not by words. They are exceptional people who do the most for their realm and make it grow. Putting time and effort into it as though a small child. Making the most they can for Yggdrasil as a whole. Setting up themselves to help lead and do things. While the Jarl's generally all are set up the one within Asgard acts as a final say. They conduct the business and make sure things are done neatly and correctly. Setting up and training other Jarls and making the place nice. It's the duty of a Jarl to keep things ready within most areas they call home. While the home may not always be the same. A warrior is always prepared for anything life throws at him. Jarl's must be adaptable and capable leaders able to guide their people to a good place.
Thane: The second in command of a unit, the person who in a way keeps Jarl's moving. This job is strategic as much as it is important. These are advisors who keep the Jarl's sanity in check sometimes. Helping them decide on important choices without failure. Thane's play an important role in setting up things for the most part. While they do help guide and mold troops in the position agreed upon. They help train and develop warriors from the culture and practice. The Thane within Asgard once again oversees's those who are in other realms. Taking a load off of the Jarl of Asgard as much as possible. This doesn't end here as the duties and job are demanding. A Thane's life could be easy or hard depending highly on the Jarl. Each one has circumstances and beliefs that come into practice. Those who accept this job do so knowingly. For friends and family, they embrace the warrior and truly let out the creature within themselves.
Thrall:The cream of the crop in terms of recruits brought in. While at a ground level, these people have the potential to one day do great things. With enough hard work, a Thrall can surpass and become a Thane or a Jarl of one of the realms. While these people aren't always going to live up to such lofty goals. They are treated like a newborn and given the treatment of a warrior. Training from all those who could offer to do so. Till they drop most Thralls are training and preparing themselves for more. These people are more than just lowly recruits or people you walk on. They are special and an important investment in the future. The potential of the Thrall is never to be underestimated or overestimated. They are something of their own accord and will grow and function as they should. The culture of a warrior is ever growing and even the lowest must be strong. For if a culture is to survive, there is no weaklings or people without merit. Everything has its own mettle and can challenge anyone.
