EMBRACE THE DARK

It wasn't entirely surprising with the events that happened next. Henrex knew that he and Tsubasa were leagues apart, as were their skills. He could tell that he was being analyzed, to an even better and larger extent than his own eyes could. The thought was slightly unnerving to know that every bit of what he was doing was being analyzed, but it was something that he was very able to accept. After all, to learn, one must watch and observe.
Blood continued to creep down the sides of Henrex's eyes, falling from his face and splattering on the floor. But, he payed no attention to that. His mind was focused on the golden-haired Unabara that he was attacking. As his attacks finalized, his mind and eyes finally were able to register that Tsubasa was not there. A gentle sigh came from behind, and voltage shot through his body, causing a multitude of things to happen. One of which was the immediate travel that his body went under, the aftereffects of the shock sending him multiple meters away, as well as causing him to fall to his knees, his nervous system unable to be felt.
As the last remainders of the electricity caused his body to continuously jolt and spasm at random intervals, Henrex eventually found himself able to at the very least sit up. Panting quietly from the excursion that his body had just went through, his head bowed to the floor slowly, trying to get himself to recover from something like that. However, as he felt the scarlet gaze of Tsubasa boring into his back, a shiver went down his spine as his mind soon came to terms that he would most likely not be gaining any time to recover any time soon.
As Tsubasa tapped his shoulder, and spoke about it being good that he had more to work on, he was about to respond when his entire body was met with hellish pain. His eyes shot open, the veins traveling across in various patterns towards the iris, and he collapsed to the ground once again, gritting his teeth to keep himself from making any noise. His head fell to the floor, slamming against the ground as the pain finally subsided. Calming stating what he had just given him, and that is would be useful to him down the road, before walking back to where he had been before.
Standing up shakily, and sending his energy throughout his body to restore the feeling back into his body. As the man instructed him to follow, Henrex obeyed, following Tsubasa into a strange purple orb that hung suspended a small distance from the ground. But, form the moment that he stepped inside, he would instantly regret that decision. An immense wave of gravity forced him to his knees, and the problems of man crawled up his spine.
His eyes widened and rotated around in the sockets, his mind swamped with these thoughts. Lifting his head to face the man, his eyes widened as his twin orbs settled on the shimmering light that hung above his head. One of his arms reached up above his head, in an attempt to grab it, but soon fell. He could feel the main thing that was crawling up and down his spine. It was fear. The fear of the power that his eyes currently possessed. Shivers rattled his body as his mind brought itself back to that subject over and over again. That was what was keeping him held down, and keeping him from progressing.
His eyes spun rapidly in circles as he fought to try and overcome these feelings. His head forced itself upwards to try and stare at the light, and his head remained there for a short time, before falling once again. His eyes flicked upwards when Tsubasa began to ask him what his ambition was. To him, that was something that dug deep into his mind. His ambition? What was he striving to do? What was the one thing that was keeping him going? Well, it was simple.
He wanted to perfect his eyes. These eyes were what he was trying to perfect and hone, but -- he was held down by his fear of the very same thing. He was terrified of what would happen if he overused his eyes. He already knew that they would begin to bleed if he used them in general, and horrendous amounts of pain would be sent flaring into his system if he overused it. But, he knew that if he didn't push himself to do such, he would never be able to perfect his eyes, and possibly not even progress anymore.
So, as the time began to pass, and his body began to break from the strain of gravity pushing against him. As he felt his spine starting to make loud creaking noises, before a sickening snap let out, causing Henrex to entirely collapse, his body entering a momentarily state of paralysis. But, with his regeneration, that was not a problem for long. With his spine quickly repairing itself, he was easily able to move once again. As blood shot up his throat, causing him to spit a small bit of blood out, before forcibly pushing himself up.
It was then that he cast off the shell.
His right eye immediately began to backtrack in it's shape, eventually dimming down to what his eyes had been before all of the events of the past: pitch black. As this happened, Henrex could feel the strain that had been on his eyes had disappeared. And as a result of this, he could feel himself being less and less afraid of his eyes. With his head lifting, and his body feeling less weighted, his fingers reached out towards the shining light that dangled so closely above him.
"My...ambition? To perfect these new eyes of mine, and to reap what I've sowed."As these words were to be said, there would be two things that would happen as a result of this new resolve forming in the mind of the half-breed. His two black eyes would begin to shift and change, spinning to life, passing through the stages of his new eyes. Three tomoe branched off, and the iris glowed red, before his eyes would close, and then open again to reveal the final stage of this dojutsu, or eye techniques.
That would be the first thing that would come into fruition with this. The second? That would be the massive creature that would emerge and form itself around Henrex. Hunched over to fit in the somewhat small space, the head of this creature would be just above Henrex's head. But, this was only a fraction of it's true size. If it were to be in it's true size, it would most likely have ended up breaking the roof of the Home of the Unabara.
Alas, this creature would not last long. With a good portion of Henrex's energy drained, both physically and spiritually, as well as his focus not being on that creature, it would slowly begin to dissipate, before fading into nothing. With his now matching eyes burning their gaze into Tsubasa's crimson ones, he once again awaited what would be done next.
